We shall be amongst the first people to enter Windsor Castle, so you can see for yourself the splendor of St. George's chapel and the sumptuous state apartments. Fantastic experience with our tour guide, Rita. She was pleasant, well informed, and kept us interested in and entertained throughout the whole of the day's itinerary. We arrived to Stonehenge before the heavy push of daily visitors and had a lovely visit before moving on to Bath. While in town we had a wonderful pint and some lunch at the Raven and took in some of the interesting sites including Pulteney Bridge and the weir, and some stunning photos of the abbey. Finally ending rounding out the day at Windsor Castle which was moving, and the town of Windsor itself which was quaint. The bus was comfortable and easy to board. Our group of four were very impressed and I wouldn't hesitate for a moment to book this tour again!
Loved this tour!

Really enjoyed this tour. It was very informative, and of course, left us wanting to come back and spend more time at each place we visited. For our first trip outside London it was a great introduction to Bath, Stonehenge, and Windsor Castle. The van was comfortable and sufficiently spacious, the tour guide was very knowledgeable and introduced each location and answered questions. No complaints, great tour, super glad we took it. Thanks for a great day!

This was an amazing tour! Tony was a fantastic tour guide with incredible knowledge about all of our sights. Wish we had some more time at Windsor Castle and Bath, but not really possible with drive time outside of London. Tony told us best way to maximize our time at both Windsor Castle and Bath, which was very helpful! We had just enough time at Stonehenge. Would highly recommend this tour if you have a limited amount of time in London.

As much as I was excited to see Stonehenge, we also walked around the queen's castle! LIT! Saw a bunch of exciting relics in there! We then made a stop at this very charming city called Bath. Taking this in a small group is definitely the way to go. Our driver and guide both kept us on excellent timing so we were always a few steps ahead of the large coach buses. Windsor Castle was spectacular, Stonehenge was beautiful (and windy!) and Bath is such a beautiful city. I recommend lunch at the Lamb & Lion Pub in Bath!

Windsor, Stonehenge and Bath Day Trip
- 8.40 / 10 766 reviews | 8,381 travellers I think the tour is very long, so the time spent visiting is short, especially in Windsor where we waited in line for more than an hour in the rain and only a little over half an hour for the visit. The time spent visiting Stoneham was fine, and maybe 2 hours in Bath were too much. Half an hour less there and half an hour more in Windsor would have been better. The guide was very good. 8 Leopoldo Festino

Book a fantastic full-day trip from London and discover Windsor Castle , Elizabeth II’s favorite Royal Palace, then travel to Salisbury Plain and visit the legendary Stonehenge and finish your day at Bath , a World Heritage Site since 1987.
Description
We'll leave central London at the indicated time on a luxury coach and head to the remarkable Windsor Castle, which is less than 1 hour away.
Founded in a privileged location, Windsor Castle has a world-famous round tower that stands 65.5 meters tall and is surrounded by an enormous garden . While you visit the Royal Palace, you’ll realize why it's the Queen’s favorite . During the tour, you'll visit the fortification's various rooms, all beautifully decorated with masterpiece paintings and you'll stop at St George’s Chapel. One of the highlights of Windsor Castle is Queen Mary’s doll house, built by over 1,500 craftsmen. The toy house was so sophisticated that it even had hot water and electricity.
Continue your journey to Salisbury Plains, where Stonehenge, one of the world’s most famous megalithic monuments , has stood for around 5,000 years. The magical monument is made up by 40-ton prehistoric stones. To this day, it's still a mystery how the stones got there and what the site was used for.
The coach will then continue to the fabulous city of Bath , on the banks of the River Avon. There you'll have free time to discover Bath, the first town in the United Kingdom to be inscribed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO . You can visit the 15th-century Bath Abbey and Pulteney Bridge, frequently compared to Florence's Ponte Vecchio.
You can also visit the superb Roman Baths . These thermal springs have given the city its name. Bath was founded on the only natural hot springs in the United Kingdom. During the visit, you’ll be able to sip Bath's curative waters . Moreover, in winter, you can enjoy discovering the Roman Baths by torchlight (not available in the months of summer).
We'll conclude this 10.5 to 11 hour tour by returning to central London .

Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & Bath Tour
From royal splendour at Windsor Castle to Stonehenge's giant megaliths, this epic tour unlocks England's secrets! See the guards in traditional uniform, ponder prehistoric puzzles, stroll down Roman Bath's Georgian terraces, and take in timeless beauty. Your escape to history awaits!
Itinerary so far...
Our experienced drivers will help you tailor your day to get the most from your Windsor Castle, Stonehenge & Bath Tour, find you a great place for afternoon tea or the best shop for souvenirs. Travel in air-conditioned, chauffeur-driven comfort through the beautiful English countryside. We can pick you up from your hotel, the airport or port.
You start your tour with a stop off at Eton—home town of the renowned school with the same name. Famous Etonians include Prince William, Boris Johnson, George Orwell and Hugh Laurie.
Your next stop will be Windsor Castle, a royal residence that embodies almost a thousand years of historical architecture. The original castle was built after the Norman invasion in the tenth century as a strategic part of the River Thames. The castle has been modified over the years and in recent history has been used for state vists. The Castle was the main residence of Queen Elizabeth II in the closing decade of her reign.
For lunch, how about a traditional English pub experience? We'll take you to a charming country spot where you can tuck into a delicious meal and sample a couple of real ales. We're the experts on finding the perfect pub for a relaxing lunch!
After lunch we'll take you to see Woodhenge where you'll see pillars marking the positions of Neolithic wooden posts which have long since rotted away. It's an important World Heritage Site and consists of six concentric ovals of standing posts, surrounded by a bank and ditch.
Stonehenge began as a burial area over 4500 years ago and has changed many times during this period, with stones being added and the site being reformed several times. Part of the changes made to the site were the addition of the bluestones. These stones, which were mined in Wales, were dragged to Stonehenge using the limited technologies of the era. This would have taken a large number of people and tremendous organisation.
Dive deeper into the secrets of Stonehenge at the fantastic Visitor Centre right there! Explore world-class exhibitions and multimedia displays that bring the monument's story to life. Step outside and journey back in time at the reconstructed Neolithic houses. On lucky days, you might even catch demonstrations of ancient crafts and bread-making, all done using prehistoric techniques!
Then we take you through the beautiful English countryside to the Roman city of Bath. Here you can wonder at the splendour of the Georgian Royal Crescent consisting of 30 pristine town houses built between 1767 and 1775. Then step back in time a further 1,700 years or so with a visit to the Roman Baths—a well preserved thermae built around the site of a temple when the town was known as Aquae Sulis. Find out more about the baths in the on-site museum. Then after a fun and fact-filled day, it's back to base.
†Please note that Windsor Castle is not open on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
Due to time constraints we suggest eating lunch in the vehicle whilst on the move. If you would rather have a pub or restaurant lunch we would need to extend the tour by 2 hours at an extra cost of £100.
