Limp Bizkit have just announced their biggest-ever UK show

Limp Bizkit will be playing a massive headline date at London’s Gunnersbury Park this summer, with special guests Pendulum, plus KennyHoopla, Joey Valence & Brae and Deijuvhs.

They’re already in London this evening (April 17) headlining the massive OVO Arena Wembley, but Limp Bizkit are coming back in the summer for an even bigger show.

The nu-metal legends have just announced a spectacular gig at Gunnersbury Park, with special guests Pendulum and an epic supporting cast of KennyHoopla , Joey Valence & Brae and Deijuvhs. It’ll take place on Sunday, August 13, and will officially be the band’s biggest headline date ever in the UK!

“This will be the greatest show of all time!” say Joey and Brae in a short but incredibly accurate statement, while Deijuvhs adds: “Biggest show of my career and I get to play on same stage as the G.O.A.T.S Limp Bizkit. Gassed.”

Tickets go on sale this Friday, April 21 at 10am.

Bizkit have also announced a Halifax show at The Piece Hall on Saturday, August 12.

Limp Bizkit: How to get tickets for UK shows after band announce new dates

Rap-rock band Limp Bizkit have announced new dates for their 2022 UK tour.

The group will play two extra shows due to popular demand for the first batch of tickets.

They’ll be performing some of their most-loved hits when they hit the road later this year, as well as songs from their 2021 album Still Sucks.

American rockers Limp Bizkit – which consists of Fred Durst, Sam Rivers, John Otto, DJ Lethal, and Wes Borland – will also play shows around Europe in Germany, Austria and France.

What are the new Limp Bizkit UK tour dates?

Fans will be excited to learn that the band’s new tour dates are in London and Birmingham.

They’ll take to the stage at Brixton’s O2 Academy for two shows in September before heading to Birmingham’s O2 Academy.

Their official UK tour dates are as follows:

July 22 – Manchester Academy September 7 – O2 Academy Brixton, London September 8 – O2 Academy Brixton, London (new date) September 11 – O2 Academy, Birmingham (new date)

When do tickets go on sale and how to get them

Tickets for the band’s additional dates go on sale at 10am on March 4.

Fans can secure tickets from the Ticketmaster website this Friday.

If you’re hoping to see the group at one of their original dates, be quick, as some shows already have limited availability.

Ed Sheeran made a surprise appearance during Limp Bizkit ’s headlining set at the Pinkpop Festival in Landgraaf, Netherlands, performing a cover of The Who ‘s “Behind Blue Eyes” with Fred Durst .

The British pop star made his cameo during the halfway point of Limp Bizkit’s set on Sunday (June 23rd).

While Sheeran and Durst may seem like an odd pairing, any irony dissipated when two began to earnestly duet “Behind Blues Eyes” — which Limp Bizkit famously covered on their 2003 album Results May Vary .

Sheeran and Durst duet on the song, and with just the subtle backing of a single acoustic guitar, the cover kinda sounds like Sheeran’s own brand of folky pop rock. Durst also plays hype man, pointing to his onstage guest and yelling to the crowd, “Ed Sheeran!”

Durst and company were clearly stoked to have the UK singer in their midst, with both the Limp Bizkit frontman and guitarist Wes Borland nabbing selfies with Sheeran to post on Instagram . Fittingly, Durst dubbed the collab “Fred Sheeran.”

Next month, Limp Bizkit will be embarking on a highly anticipated North American tour with Corey Feldman. We previously reported on the hilarious hype video for the trek, which kicks off in mid-July (get tickets here ).

Ed Sheeran joined Limp Bizkit onstage at Pinkpop in Landgraaf this weekend for a cover of The Who's Behind Blue Eyes

Ed Sheeran teamed up with Limp Bizkit this weekend onstage for a surprise performance.

The pop sensation joined the nu metallers for their set at Pinkpop festival in Landgraaf on June 23, performing Bizkit's classic cover of The Who's Behind Blue Eyes.

Following the collab, Bizkit frontman Fred Durst took to Instagram to share a selfie of them both, alongside the tongue-in-cheek caption: "Fred Sheeran doing the Blue Eyes thing".

Fan-filmed footage from the set shows Sheeran - who headlined the festival that day - stood singing alongside Durst, his sugar-sweet pop vocals unsurprisingly fitting the emotive song.

Other acts on this year's Pinkpop bill included Måneskin, Avril Lavigne, Royal Blood, Babymetal, Pendulum, Corey Taylor, Greta Van Fleet and more.

This is not the first time Sheeran has crossed over into the rock and metal world; back in 2023, the star accompanied The Darkness onstage for a performance in London, and also joined The Offspring at the BottleRock Napa Valley festival on May 26 as they performed Million Miles Away, a moment which he described as living out a "childhood dream".

Sheeran is also gearing up to release his collaboration with Cradle Of Filth's Dani Filth, a project which has been on the back-burner for quite some time. 

Back in January, Filth offered an update on collab, noting: "We actually did the song with Ed over a year ago now.

"So, it’s been about two and a half years [since the initial idea of the team-up], and it’s probably gonna be three and a half years before anybody actually hears the song.”

90s frontman looks unrecognisable as he hits the stage with new look 24 years after smash hit

A NINETIES frontman looks completely unrecognisable after finding fame 24 years ago.

The American rapper and singer, now 53, showed off a completely new look as he took to the stage at Download Festival.

Fred Durst looked worlds away from when he found fame in the rap rock band Limp Bizkit.

Performing at the festival in Derby, the star ditched his neat goatee and is now sporting a long grey beard.

Limp Bizkit formed in Jacksonville in 1994 and originally consisted of Fred, Wes Borland, Sam Rivers, John Otto, and DJ Lethal.

Their breakout came with the release of their second album, Significant Other in 1999, which debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.

This success was propelled by hit singles such as Nookie and Break Stuff.

Their follow-up album, Chocolate Starfish and the Hot Dog Flavored Water debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 and sold over one million copies in its first week.

In 2001, guitarist Wes left the band briefly before returning in 2004.

The band attempted a comeback with the release of The Unquestionable Truth (Part 1) in 2005 but it failed to reignite their previous level of success.

Following this, Limp Bizkit went on a hiatus.

They returned in 2009 with the original lineup and embarked on a series of reunion tours.

Since then, Limp Bizkit has continued to tour sporadically and perform at festivals.

They have even hinted at new music multiple times, and in 2021 they released the album Still Sucks.

Besides continuing to tour and perform with the band, Fred has made a mark as a film director with movies like The Education of Charlie Banks and The Longshots.

More recently he directed the film The Franatic in 2019 which starred John Travolta .

Fred tends to keep a lower profile compared to his peak years but still makes headlines for his personal life and public appearances.

According to the frontman, this choosiness is all part of his plan to keep a varied creative profile.

Speaking to LA Weekly, he said, "I still perform and manage Limp Bizkit. We're very selective of where we play.

"I think I'm gonna be releasing some new material. But my film directing is about to be in a very wonderful place.

Download boss says Limp Bizkit should headline when they return

The nu-metal band have appeared numerous times at the festival but have yet to headline

Download ‘s boss Andy Copping has suggested Limp Bizkit should headline the festival when they return.

The nu-metal group have had a long history with the Donington Park festival, where they were supposed to be the inaugural headliners in 2003, but dropped out and were eventually replaced by Audioslave.

Limp Bizkit sub-headlined the last day of this year’s edition, which took place at the weekend. Their show marked their first appearance at Donington Park since 2013.

Now, a new photo posted by Copping has shown he’s open to considering the band returning to top the bill. Sharing the photo yesterday (June 18), Copping wrote: “Fred and I leaving the stage at the end of a gargantuan performance by LIMP BIZKIT at Download on Sunday. Next time they come back, they have to be headlining, surely?”

This year’s edition saw headliners Queens Of The Stone Age ,  Avenged Sevenfold  and  Fall Out Boy take to the stage.

Slipknot  legend  Corey Taylor ,  Pantera ,  Machine Head ,  The Offspring ,  Sum 41  and  Royal Blood were some of over 80 bands announced to play the Derby festival.

NME attended this year, deeming Download worthy of four stars : “At first glance, Download 2024 seemed to be marred by a range of factors that could have signalled its downfall – even festival boss  Andy Copping admitted that it was the “hardest year” to secure a line-up  and the team approached over “21 bands” to find headliners.

“Pair that with the threat of boycott in retaliation against the Barclays sponsorship and news that this year could be the wettest in a century , and the hopes of it coming out smoothly began to waver. Yet, against the odds the festival delivers one of its most promising editions in recent memory, and proves that it is one of the main events leading the way when it comes to creating opportunities for the next generation of headliners.”

Copping opened up about his struggle to secure his line-up this year, saying: “It’s been probably the hardest year – I’ve said that in previous years before when it’s been hard to put the bill together – but this year has been particularly hard.”

According to the festival boss, he has seen that other festivals across Europe have “have been feeling the same” and also “struggling to lock the bands in.”

“Myself and the team, we dug in really hard…We would list all the bands that we should go for and, yeah, it was 21 different acts that we approached,” he continued. “Normally, you’d be looking five, six, seven and you’d find your three from that.”
