CAMERON MACKINTOSH’S ACCLAIMED PRODUCTION OF BOUBLIL AND SCHÖNBERG’S LES MISÉRABLES TO MAKE A MUCH-ANTICIPATED RETURN TO NORTH AMERICA TOUR PERFORMANCES WILL BEGIN THIS OCTOBER AT PLAYHOUSE SQUARE IN CLEVELAND, OHIO Cameron Mackintosh announced that his acclaimed production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg’s Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, LES MISÉRABLES, will relaunch its record-breaking tour of North America in October 2022 at Playhouse Square in Cleveland, OH. This tour of LES MISÉRABLES will play more than 60 week-long and multi-week engagements through next two years and beyond. A complete tour schedule and casting will be announced at a later date. Les Misérables

Victor hugo’s paris and the district of le marais.

Paris is the real-life stage of Les Miserables . The royal district of le Marais (mostly the 4th arrondissement) is its most seductive, secluded, historical scene. There we find Gavroche , the barricades, Marius, Cosette, Javert, Jean Valjean ’s last home in the Rue de l’Homme Armé. Follow them step by step through the narrow, mysterious, medieval streets. Admire the parish church of Saint Paul , imagine the wedding of Cosette and Marius in the middle of the celebration of Mardi Gras day.

Along the way discover hidden gardens , courtyards, 16th and 17th century former residences of the lords and ladies of the age, the Place des Vosges - the heritage the good king Henri IV left to Paris. Meet with Catherine de Medicis , the powerful family of the Prince de Guise, de Rohan Soubise, Madame de Sévigné (the noble gossip of the Marais) whose accounts of public, political, literary and artistic events vividly describe the great age of the Roi Soleil (Sun King). We also lift the veil on the Marquise de Maintenon who secretly married Louis XIV after having been his mistress and the governess of his eight illegitimate royal children.

The Jewish quarter with its typical ambience and the best falafels in Paris is an irresistible plus on this unique walk.

At the end of the tour feel free to pay a visit to Victor Hugo in his apartment at the Place des Vosges.

What is Les Misérables about?

Imprisoned for stealing to feed his starving family, Jean Valjean is relentlessly pursued by the tenacious Inspector Javert after skipping parole. Years pass, and now-successful Valjean, now a successful and well-respected Parisian businessman, becomes entangled in an uprising after his daughter Cosette falls in love with Marius, a member of an idealist group with revolution on their mind.

Tickets forthe London production of Les Misérables are on sale now for performances until 6th September 2025. Tickets start from £24 for performances running Tuesday – Saturday 7.30pm, Matinee performances Thursday & Saturday 2.30pm.

Les miserables.

All patrons, regardless of age, must have a ticket for admission, including children and infants carried in arms.  Strollers are not allowed in the building. There are no refunds or exchanges of tickets purchased. Please do not bring cameras, tablets and audio/visual recording devices, selfie sticks, tripods & monopods.  Do not take cell phone photos or videos. Guest may bring a clear bag (12″ x 6″x 12″ maximum size) and/or a small clutch bag (4.5" x 6.5") to the venue. Exceptions for medically necessary items are allowed after proper inspection by security staff. Delivery Methods:

• Print-at-Home or Mobile – The link to your tickets is included in your confirmation email. Look for the blue “View Ticket(s)” button above.  The link will activate three (3) days before the performance.  You can view the tickets on your phone, add them to your digital wallet, or print them from your computer.
• Will Call – You can pick up your tickets at the box office starting now. We are open Monday through Friday, 12pm to 4pm, and two hours before every performance.
