Oktoberfest in Munich!

You must visit Rio during the carnival

Rio is such a vibrant city, especially at this time of year! It’s definitely somewhere you have to visit even just once. One thing I have to add is that the customer service whilst on the tour was very good. Whenever you need clarification or if something goes wrong they’ll get back to you super quick which is really helpful and they’ll always try to resolve the problem as best as they can!

Sahara Trek - February 2024

All I can say is - WOW!!! 🤩 What an adventure, even before the trip we were so well looked after and informed. The travel app Vamoos, was excellent and gave a minute by minute countdown. Dave, our guide was with us every step of the way, giving us tips and instructions-so experienced!! Our food was provided by magic I’m sure, rustling up delights in the middle of the desert - our bottle of coke delivered at the end of our final day was like nectar from the gods!!! I felt safe at all times, had complete faith in our guides and cannot wait to travel again with the The BucketList Company - just the decision of where to go next!! 🌍 The hugest thank you to everyone involved - such memories to treasure!

Chasing Slot Canyons in Utah

My wife and I went on '5 Days Chasing Slot Canyons in Utah' with Himanshu as our guide and the whole experiance was fantastic. He'd chosen a variety of experiances for the different days and the local guides he'd selected were all brilliant and very knowledgable. :)

This was my first time using a travel agency and let me tell you the experience I had with our tour guide (Himanshu) was best in class from the beginning to the end tour. Everything was thoroughly laid out, he answered all my questions, his follow-up great, and very detailed oriented. Keep everyone on time and manage responsively, and I'll happy to join the trip again for the next upcoming season.😊

This was great trip and organizer made sure we have all kind of experience in one trip like train , bus , cruise , flight , walk , hike etc. It was well planned and even breakfast was not mentioned as inclusive but he made sure there is food for everyone in morning whenever all were ready for day ahead. This was my third trip and looking for more with him in future .

The tour du Mont Blanc trip was a once in a lifetime experience. Every detail of the trip was perfect. Our trekking guide took incredible care of us, was passionate about the mountain and knowledgable about the flora and fauna. The food was authentic & yummy and staying in the refuges was a cool Experience. I look forward to signing up for the Dolomites trip too! Alaska Northern Lights Group Tour

I had a great time on my Alaska Northern Lights trip. My guides, Himanshu and Phil were awesome! They did their best to accommodate everyone's needs and ensured we had the best experience possible. The groups are small and intimate and allow for some flexibility and spontaneity. I love the Google shared photo album and the connections made with fellow travelers. I would feel completely comfortable traveling alone with this group and I am already planning future bookings.

Grand Tetons and Yellowstone…

Grand Tetons and Yellowstone (5/25/2022) The itinerary was planned very well by Himanshu. The travel guide Mr. Philip N was not only an awesome guide but also an amazing person. He was very friendly and showed us a few additional spots in addition to the ones mentioned in the original itinerary. I really enjoyed this with an awesome group of co-travellers. I look forward to exploring new places with bucketlist.

I went on a trip to Yellowstone at the end of July 2021. It was an unforgettable and fun experience. It was real nice to meet new interesting people, and Himanshu did a great job coordinating everything from our routes to hotels. Every single day awaited new nature surprises, and I can’t wait to go on another trip with Bucket List Group Travel.

An amazing adventure in Dubai

An amazing adventure in Dubai with a superior trip leader. Himanshu was responsive and prompt answering all questions from day 1 of booking. I've traveled extensively with other groups, but Trip N Trek was an exceptional value for the money. This trip was filled with unusual activities, well organized, yet flexible for all. The hotels were better than I've had on other budget tours & I felt safe & cared for the whole time. Being a solo traveler, Trip N trek met my needs nicely. I hope to find another tour in 2020 with TNT to continue my adventures!

Awesome BLGT Alaska Aurora trip!

I had the best time on my trip to Alaska to see the Northern Lights, Denali National Park and fall foliage with Bucket List Group Travel! Himanschu, our guide, was awesome! He did a great job of hitting all of the highlights in the area and helping us have every opportunity possible to see the Aurora...which we saw numerous times throughout our trip. We also lucked out with a great group and had an absolute blast! I highly recommend BLGT and definitely plan to travel with them again!

New Zealand experience

We had a great time visiting New Zealand. It was advertised as a group trip but it only 2 of us. It was a great experience and Bucket List made sure everything was planned out. Our transportation was always waiting on us and we arrived at every destinations in time. The app was awesome and kept us on track everyday. I highly recommend.

Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National Parks

I took the trip to Grand Tetons and Yellowstone National park in May 2022 and it was an excellent adventure. We had an awesome guide, Phil and he took us to all the sights, made sure we were safe, and had a great personality. The group was great and we all enjoyed each other’s company, so nice to meet new people. The bucket list group travel definitely exceeded my expectations and this was my second trip with them. I will definitely being going on another adventure with this group.

Summer Iceland trip 2019

Just got back from Iceland summer trip with Himanshu of Trip N Trek. Best trip ever! Everything was well organized and communication of daily events was extraordinary. Himanshu has the perfect laid back temperament in dealing with the many personalities of our small group. Definitely will plan another trip with Himanshu.

Loved my 1st ever trip with BLGT

This was my 1st ever trip with Bucket List Group Travel (BLGT). I did Alaska - Northern Lights and Denali National Park trip. Himanshu was our tour guide and we were a group of 14. The trip was well planned with meet-n-greet on Day 1 to get to know your fellow travelers. We visited most of the local tourist attraction spots and events. Himanshu would track northern lights schedule for us daily and take us to spots with the best view the beautiful northern lights. Hot Springs pool was also another highlight of the trip in addition to Northern Lights and Denali National Park. I would definitely be doing more of these trips with BLGT in future and recommend BLGT to others.

"Having been to Egypt many times I really could recommend this company to anyone. Even if you can't remember the facts of the sites you see, you'll never forget the feeling you get watching sunrise at Abu Simbel or the first time you wander through Karnak. I want to go back!"

YOU MUST SEE THIS AMAZING & WARM COUNTRY

If you've ever wanted to see Egypt, I can't imagine there is a better person to see it with than Yasser Omar our amazing guide.

If you can, you must see this amazing and warm country. You aren't too young and you aren't too old for this trip. Also don't wait to have someone to join you - the world awaits. Trust me, you'll never feel alone or nervous and everything will be handled for you from the moment you step off the plane. I can't recommend this country and these guys enough!

I'm missing Egypt, and the wonderful friends I made along the way.

It was amazing!

Visited November 2019

My trip to Egypt has come to an end but my god it was amazing! I did a 10 day tour through Bucket List Travel, organized by the wonderful Annie Emanuelli , and guided by the amazing Yasser Omar ! I thought about traveling Egypt solo but I’m so glad I did a tour. I did and saw things I never would have without Annie and Yasser and never would have gotten the information and history about all the sites without Yasser. We saw the Great Pyramids of Giza, Saqqara, Karnak, King Tut’s Tomb, went to carpet, gold, papyrus, and essential oil shops, danced with locals at a small village outside of Cairo, sailed down the Nile River, and had the most amazing food! There is so much more that I could talk about, but this post really goes out to Yasser. That man has an amazing wealth of knowledge and has the biggest heart I’ve ever known. He not only single handedly guided 16 women for 10 days, but also put up with every single high maintenance request we asked. He went above and beyond and I have no idea how he had so much patience. He took us out to experience local life after very long days when any normal human would be sleeping because he wanted us to love his country as much as he does. Thank you so much Yasser, I’m sure none of us will every forget our time in Egypt!

P.S. shout out to all the women on this trip who I never thought I’d bond with so well, thanks for making this trip magical. #habibi #bucketlisttravelegypt #egypt #nilecruise

They took care of us from A to Z

"If you are thinking of going to Egypt, I urge you to contact Bucket List Travel. We got off the plane and went through Covid area and then a gentleman met us and took us through the Visa process, stayed with us to get our luggage and delivered us outside to Yasser Omar and our driver. The process was very smooth. We stayed in 5 star hotels and ate wonderful food in the restaurants Yasser picked out for us. They took care of us from A-Z. We had dinner on our own a few nights. When we left, the same gentleman took us back through the airport process. I can not say enough about this group! Please check them out!"

Mind Blowing

Visited March 2018

Went to Egypt with Girls Love Travel in March 2018. Bucket List Travel hosted our trip and had the most amazing professionally trained team members that delivered a mind blowing experience.

You won't be disappointed

Traveling with Bucket List Travel Egypt is genuinely one of the best experiences of my life. They anticipate your every need and treat you like a rock star throughout the trip. Egypt is a thoroughly fascinating and fantastic place to visit. You won’t be disappointed.

Going again!!!

A friend of mine and I had the most amazing experience with Bucket List Travel in September of 2015. Yasser Omar's passion and brilliance with Egyptian History was contagious. Apparently it left us wanting more as we have planned another trip in October of 2016. The entire tour was well organized, professional and made us fall in love with Egypt!!! I would highly recommend and have to so many of my friends!!!

Discover Ancient Eygpt

Visited April 2016

This was a trip of a lifetime that we will never forget. To be able to see all the ancient wonders from Luxor and Karnack to the Valley of the Kings, Queen Hatshepsut Temple and the Great Pyramids at Giza. We walked in the footsteps of the Pharaohs, cruised and discovered the romance of the Nile, and experienced beautiful lands and friendly people. Our guide, Yasser, was incredibly knowledgeable and instilled in us his love and enthusiasm for the culture and history of Egypt. He truly enlightened us not only on the ancient Egyptian kingdoms, civilization and worship, but also the traditions and customs of modern Egypt. I cannot over emphasize how amazing this was, and Bucket List Travel took care of every detail. From our travel in country to tickets, tours, and accommodation, we didn’t have to worry or plan anything. Bucket List Travel created an itinerary that suited our interests, took us on nothing more than an incredible journey and made this beyond just a vacation and into a true adventure. I highly recommend, “go to Egypt”, Bucket List Travel can make this a life changing experience for you, it did for us.

YASSER WENT ABOVE & BEYOND

I just returned from a once in a lifetime trip to Cairo organized by Bucket List Travel. Annie took care of every detail of planning, and it really showed when I got off the plane and was taken care of from start to finish with the greatest care. My guide Yasser was amazing! He was kind, professional, knowledgeable, and funny! He went above and beyond to ensure my every need was met and that I got the most out of each day I was in Egypt. I always felt safe and loved actually experiencing Egyptian life. I plan to grab my friends and book again with Bucket List Travel!

Wouldn't travel with anyone else

If you have ever considered visiting Egypt I would definitely recommend that you do it! And I wouldn’t travel with anyone except Bucket List Travel, they really went above and beyond to make this the best experience possible!!

Might have to come back!

Yasser and Annie have put together a great tour company. The list of sites you will see are amazing. Yes Egypt is checked off my bucket list but I may need to go back and see more! It was a great trip. Go! Enjoy.

So much love for Egypt

Marianna D.

I have been home for just a little over 24 hours and am still trying to process the trip I just came back from. Egypt was eye-opening and life-changing for so many reasons. In Alexandria, I felt nostalgic about Napoli, in Cairo, intrigued by the traffic and everyday life of the locals, and through the trip consistently reminded of how and when civilization began. The food was incredible, the sights and sounds intoxicating, and the history, unreal. People told me to worry about safety, cautioned me not to go, and being the stubborn person that I am could not let this opportunity pass me by. I figured this photo was an accurate way to show my love for this beautiful country that welcomed me with open arms. So much love for Egypt.

Imprinted on my heart

Whenever I go on vacation, I say nothing beats the last one. This vacation has me ecstatic, no stone was left unturned. The diversity of souk markets, alabaster and perfume factories, carpet schools, jewellery bazaars, spice markets in addition to the Nile cruise, history, temples, culinary and culture I am still floating on the clouds with my new luggage from trying to bring home a piece of everything. The people were nice, and I felt safe at all times. My guide Yasser was phenomenal. This vacation is imprinted on my heart. Thanks Bucket list travel, girls love travel and the beautiful ladies with whom I had the pleasure of enjoying on this magnificent adventure.

THANK YOU FOR BRINGING US TOGETHER

I'm home but I'm not home. I want to be out there where time is endless, where the desire to learn more about past civilizations became increasingly exhilarating, where frequent tea/ coffee stops were the go-to hello's, and night-owl life was the norm. The engaging intellectual talks, political ones that intrigued further research, religious observations that reminded of things I've read since I was a . Selfies, boomerangs, , running panoramic, story, cartouche twin, open windows , , 10min shopping sprees , , and the unforgettable lunch !

I came back with wonderful memories, new friends, a few pounds on my body (I love good food ) and an eager desire to dive into another cultural enriching trip! The conversations were hilarious, nurturing, enlightening and in every aspect fed my soul. I couldn't have asked for better company! My heart yearned for exactly this

Thank you, lovely travel buddies, for an amazing couple of weeks! All of which couldn't been possible without miss Annie and Yasser 's assistance and the GLT group! So thank you for bringing us together and developing this kickass itinerary! Cheers to future adventures!

The Alaska Northern Lights Winter Wonderland tour with Bucket List Group Travel was amazing. Himanshu was an amazing tour guide. The trip was well organized and Himanshu took time to make sure each individual felt that they were getting the best experience. He went beyond to make our trip amazing. Highly recommend.
The itinerary, hikes and activities were great. The best feature of the hotel in Seattle was location. The quality of the hotels went from bad to worst. On the one we stayed the last two nights there was not even soap, we had to go and ask for it and almost beg for shampoo, they also just gave us one key for a double room, There was always a sense of improvisation and lack of communication. The guide tried his best to save the day, every day. We would arrive tired and hungry and most places were closed already. The guide on the last day went out of his way to deliver participants to their destinations, not just the airport but the train station, etc. that was greatly appreciated, his energy, enthusiasm and driving skills made of this a Good trip. There is a lot of room for improvement.

World Expeditions’ trips are capped at just 16 people to provide a good experience for participants, and there are no single supplements for solo travelers willing to share a room with someone of the same gender.

G Adventures is one of the best tour companies for solo travelers as well, as most trips don’t have a single-supplement. You can choose to share a room with another G Adventures solo traveler, or pay extra to have your own space.

G Adventures keeps costs down by opting for cheaper hotels and local meals, and making certain activities optional (for an additional cost). Pick your travel style—options range from “basic” to more luxe tours run in partnership with National Geographic. Family tours, local living tours (featuring homestays), and wellness-focused tours are also available.

Top Trip: G Adventures’ China Express trip is a great way to see the highlights of China if you’re short on both time and budget.

We gave our DIVEIN Team one job: Find the best and most popular bucket list trips.

Here you go, now start crafting your own bucket list!

bucket list group travel reviews

What makes a great bucket list trip idea? In my experience, the best bucket list trips often spring out from a yearning to fill what is lacking in my life. Whether we admit it or not, we travel to different places either to experience something new, to see the world in a new way,  to get a respite from the monotony of work, to meet new people, to celebrate a milestone (signifying a lack of sense of achievement), to relive a memory, or to simply find yourself.

Of course, in an era dominated by social media feeds filled with picturesque snapshots and carefully curated captions, the true essence of travel often gets lost in the pursuit of likes and shares. While this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, it does make travelling seem like a soulless pursuit. But it’s not. Travelling is an essential part of the human experience, and, as such, is why bucket list trips exist.

With that said, regardless of your reason for travelling, I’ve compiled a list of the best bucket list trips for a lifetime of travel. Read on and find out what your next great adventure is!

Bucket List Adventure Trips

Dive the coral triangle.

Bucket List Trips For A Lifetime Of Travel Coral Triangle

  • Best For: Nature Lovers and Diving Enthusiasts
  • Best Time to Visit: Depends on the region
  • How to Get There: Fly into Sorong Airport (Raja Ampat, Indonesia), or Matahora Airport (Wakatobi, Indonesia), or Presidente Nicolau Lobato Int’l Airport (Dili, Timor Leste), or Ninoy Aquino Int’l Airport (Philippines)

If you’re even remotely interested in exploring tropical waters, then this should definitely be on your bucket list. Often referred to as the “Amazon of the Seas,” the Coral Triangle is an ecologically rich marine region located in the western Pacific Ocean. It spans roughly 5.7 million square kilometers, and encompasses the tropical waters around six countries: Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Papua New Guinea, the Solomon Islands, and Timor Leste.

Where to go?/ What to do?

Planning a diving expedition in the Coral Triangle can be tricky (to put it mildly), as different regions have different diving seasons (even within the same country). As such, it’s important to not go into it blindly, and begin by determining the specific countries within the Coral Triangle you wish to explore. Need help with that? Here’s my list of must-visit diving destinations within the Coral Triangle:

Amos Rock, Tubbataha Marine Park, Philippines – Also known as Southwest Rock, Amos Rock boasts a spectacular vertical wall adorned with a mesmerizing array of corals, including whip corals, tubular soft corals, and massive gorgonian fans. Located in a UNESCO World Heritage area in the Coral Triangle, the crystal-clear waters surrounding Amos Rock teem with marine life. Divers here are treated to encounters with an impressive variety of reef fish, sharks, rays, and turtles. The Tubbataha diving season is from March through June .

Wakatobi, Indonesia – Situated in the heart of the Coral Triangle, Wakatobi boasts extensive coral gardens, towering coral formations, intricate reef structures, as well as an extraordinary array of marine life (it’s particularly known for its Manta Rays). The waters surrounding Wakatobi are famous for their exceptional clarity, offering unparalleled visibility for divers. Moreover, Wakatobi is home to a diverse range of dive sites catering to divers of all experience levels. While the area is ideal for diving all year round, diving season is typically between the months of March and November .

Cape Kri, Raja Ampat, Indonesia – Cape Kri is world-renowned for its mind-boggling biodiversity. It currently has the world record for the highest number of fish species spotted in a single dive–374 different species! Cape Kri’s characterized by dramatic underwater landscapes and thriving coral reefs. The area features steep walls, underwater pinnacles, and vibrant coral gardens teeming with life. Moreover, compared to other diving destinations in Indonesia, Cape Kri is relatively untouched by mass tourism, which contributes to its reefs’ pristine condition. While diving is possible year-round in Raja Ampat, the best time for diving is generally considered to be from October to April , during the region’s dry season.

Atauro Island, Timor Leste – If you’re looking for something that’s more off the beaten track, Atauro Island, located just off the coast of Timor Leste, is something of a hidden gem in the world of diving. Apart from an incredibly diverse range of coral species, divers here may also encounter rare and endemic species found only in the waters of Timor-Leste, such as the Timor pygmy seahorse and the Atauro mandarin fish. Moreover, Atauro Island’s dive sites offer a mix of experiences, and cater to divers of all levels. While it is generally considered a year-round diving destination, the best time for diving in Atauro Island is during the months of May through November .

Kimbe Bay,  Papua New Guinea – Another hidden gem within the Coral Triangle is Kimbe Bay. Kimbe Bay boasts an incredible diversity of marine species, stunning coral formations, and crystal-clear waters. Approximately seventy percent of all Indo-Pacific coral species call this area home. While Kimbe Bay is suitable for diving all year round, it is best dived in May and June, and from September through November .

Head to Antarctica

Bucket List Trips For A Lifetime Of Travel Antarctica

  • Best For: Adventure Seekers and Nature Enthusiasts
  • Best Time to Visit: November through March
  • How to Get There: Embark on a cruise from Ushuaia, Argentina to Antarctica; or fly out from Punta Arenas, Chile, to King George Island.

Imagine standing on the edge of the world, surrounded by towering glaciers, colossal icebergs, and a silence so profound it resonates in your bones. A trip to Antarctica is more than just a journey; it’s a transformative experience that belongs on everyone’s bucket list. Known as the last untouched wilderness, the continent boasts a raw and untamed landscape that’s both terrifying and beautiful.

Antarctica is a once-in-a-lifetime adventure that requires careful planning and preparation. Of course, once you book a trip to Antarctica with a reputable tour operator, you’ll usually go with a tour group, and have a neat itinerary planned out for you. Still, if you don’t know how to even begin appreciating this adventure, here are top five must-do’s:

Chill Out with Penguins and other Antarctic Critters – Antarctica is a wildlife lover’s paradise. Witness thousands of penguins huddled together, their comical waddle echoing the rhythm of life. Seals bask on ice floes, and albatrosses glide effortlessly above the waves. Keep your eyes peeled for humpback whales as well!

Go Overnight Ice Camping – There’s nothing like spending a night camping on ice to really get a sense of connection to the hauntingly beautiful Antarctic landscape. Camping on the ice also offers the chance to marvel at the brilliance of the night sky (there’s no place on Earth with a less polluted sky), with its countless stars, constellations, and even the elusive Aurora Australis (Southern Lights) if conditions are right.

Take a Polar Plunge – What even is an Antarctica adventure without the obligatory polar plunge? Taking a dip in the continent’s icy waters is a singular opportunity to connect with nature in a way that few people ever experience.

Explore Deception Island – Another must-visit is Deception Island. The island’s dramatic landscape, with rugged cliffs and steaming fumaroles, offers a captivating glimpse into the forces of nature at work in Antarctica (plus it’s not totally covered in ice–great for hiking). Moreover, as it is actually the flooded caldera of an active volcano, you can actually take a dip in its geothermally heated waters!

Visit a Research Station – Visiting Antarctic research stations offers a rare opportunity to learn about cutting-edge scientific research. If you get a chance to, try visiting Davis, Rothera Research Station, and McMurdo Station.

Spot the Big Five in South Africa

Bucket List Trips For A Lifetime Of Travel South Africa

  • Best For: Adventure Seekers, Wildlife Enthusiasts, and History Buffs
  • Best Time to Visit: May to September
  • How to Get There: Fly into O.R. Tambo Int’l Airport or Cape Town Int’l Airport

From the vibrant city life of Johannesburg and Cape Town to the breathtaking natural beauty of Kruger National Park and the Drakensberg Mountains, South Africa offers a wealth of experiences. One of the country’s most compelling attractions is the opportunity to spot the Big Five – lions, elephants, buffalo, leopards, and rhinoceroses – in their natural habitat.

One of the best ways to experience the country is by embarking on a self-drive adventure along the scenic routes that crisscross the nation. That said, if you’re not keen on going on a self-drive adventure, you can also go a more familiar route by joining a group tour. While its iconic landscapes and wildlife are its main attractions, exploring its history and culture is just as incredible. Here are my top five recommendations:

Go on Safari – South Africa is home to a variety of top-notch game reserves and national parks that provide unparalleled opportunities for wildlife viewing. Kruger National Park, one of Africa’s largest and oldest game reserves, offers vast expanses of savannah teeming with wildlife, including all members of the Big Five. You can also spot the Big Five in Hluhluwe Game Reserve and Pilanesberg National Park.

Hike the Drakensberg Mountains – Located in the eastern part of the country, the Drakensberg, meaning “Dragon Mountains” in Afrikaans, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its dramatic peaks, deep valleys, and ancient rock formations. Hiking in the Drakensberg offers a variety of trails suitable for all levels of fitness and experience, from leisurely walks to challenging multi-day treks.

Explore Cape Town – There’s just as much to do in Cape Town as there are sights to see in South Africa’s rugged landscapes. Take a cable car ride or hike to the top of Table Mountain for panoramic views of the city, coastline, and surrounding mountains. Go on a guided Robben Island tour, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and learn about its history as a political prison where Nelson Mandela was held for 18 years. You can also take a scenic drive along Chapman’s Peak Drive, hike to the Cape Point lighthouse, and spot wildlife in the Cape of Good Hope Nature Reserve.

Discover the Garden Route – Characterized by lush forests, pristine beaches, picturesque lakes, and towering mountains, the Garden Route is a scenic stretch of coastline along the southern coast of South Africa, starting from Mossel Bay in the Western Cape and extending to Storms River in the Eastern Cape.

Visit the Cango Caves – These ancient limestone caves, formed over millions of years, boast an intricate network of chambers, tunnels, and stalactite formations. Guided tours here offer a glimpse into the depths of the earth, as visitors navigate through narrow passageways, marvel at towering stalactites and stalagmites, and discover hidden chambers adorned with intricate calcite formations.

If your idea of a bucket list trip isn’t necessarily an arduous nature adventure, but just immersing yourself in the tranquility of quaint fishing towns, then you have to embark on a journey to Lofoten. Nestled within the Arctic Circle, Lofoten is a spectacle of dramatic peaks, verdant valleys, and crystalline waters. Traditional red cabins dot the coastline, and the air is filled with the aroma of freshly caught fish being prepared by locals.

Whether it’s hiking along winding trails that lead to panoramic vistas, kayaking through narrow fjords enveloped in mist, or simply basking in the ethereal glow of the midnight sun or the dancing Northern Lights, every moment in Lofoten is an unforgettable experience. Don’t know where to start? Here are my top five recommendations:

Witness the Northern Lights – The Lofoten Islands offer an ideal vantage point to witness the Northern Lights, and the best time to do this is during the winter months, typically from late September to early April. This period offers long, dark nights with clearer skies, providing optimal conditions for observing the aurora borealis.

Visit Historic Fishing Villages – If you’re visiting Lofoten, you have to explore its iconic fishing villages. Strolling through the narrow cobblestone streets of Reine, with its iconic red cabins and breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains, or wandering the historic wharves of Nusfjord, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, evokes a sense of nostalgia and wonder. Meanwhile, Henningsvær’s vibrant art scene and Svolvær’s bustling harbor add modern flair to the timeless allure of these coastal hamlets.

Go Hiking – The archipelago boasts an extensive network of hiking trails that cater to all levels of experience, from leisurely strolls along scenic coastal paths to challenging treks up rugged peaks. For those seeking a moderate yet rewarding hike, the iconic Reinebringen trail provides awe-inspiring views of the surrounding fjords and mountains from its summit. Meanwhile, the more ambitious may tackle the strenuous but unforgettable trek to the summit of Hermannsdalstinden, the highest peak in Lofoten, offering panoramic views of the entire archipelago.

Brush Up on Your Viking History – Situated in Borg, the Lofotr Viking Museum offers visitors a unique opportunity to step back in time and immerse themselves in the world of the Vikings. Here, visitors can explore meticulously crafted exhibits showcasing artifacts, tools, and interactive displays that offer insights into Viking culture, craftsmanship, and daily routines. Moreover, the museum hosts engaging live demonstrations of traditional Viking activities, including blacksmithing, weaving, and culinary practices, allowing visitors to experience firsthand the skills and techniques of these resourceful and resilient people.

Paddle through the Lofoten Islands’ Rugged Coastline – From the quaint fishing villages of Reine and Henningsvær to the remote corners of Moskenesøy and Flakstadøy, there are countless routes and destinations to explore by kayak in Lofoten. Additionally, the region’s diverse marine life, including seals, seabirds, and even whales, adds an extra element of excitement to paddling excursions.

Whether it’s exploring iconic landmarks, trying out the best culinary offerings of each borough, or simply soaking in the city’s electric atmosphere, visitors are spoiled for choice here. With that said, here are my top picks of things you must do while in New York:

Stepping into Times Square is akin to immersing oneself in a whirlwind of lights, sounds, and energy that pulsates through the heart of Manhattan. What makes this experience anything but cliché is its ever-evolving nature. Have a Picnic in Central Park – As great of a city as it is (and perhaps because of its greatness), New York can be too much, especially for tourists. Central Park, spanning 843 acres in the heart of Manhattan, offers a respite from the city’s, well, city-ness . Picnicking in Central Park isn’t just about the food; it’s about savoring the moment and relishing in the simple joys of life amidst an urban oasis. Whether it’s enjoying a gourmet spread prepared from local markets or grabbing a quick bite from one of the park’s vendors, the experience fosters a sense of connection with nature and community that transcends the ordinary. If you’re not really a big picnicker, there are infinite ways to enjoy the park. Read a book, watch people, do nothing. Go crazy!

Check out the Statue of Liberty – The iconic Statue of Liberty, gifted to the United States by France in 1886, stands as a beacon of hope and opportunity, welcoming millions of immigrants to the shores of America in search of a better life. As one draws closer to the statue’s towering form, standing at an impressive 305 feet from pedestal to torch, its sheer scale and majesty inspire awe and reverence. Once on Liberty Island, visitors have the opportunity to explore the statue up close, ascending to its crown for breathtaking panoramic views of the city skyline and harbor. The museum housed within the pedestal offers a fascinating glimpse into the history and construction of the statue, as well as its enduring significance as a symbol of freedom and democracy. Take in the View of the City from the Top of the Empire State Building – An enduring symbol of New York’s resilience and ambition, the Empire State Building stands as an architectural marvel, rising 1,454 feet above the bustling streets of Manhattan. Moreover, the Empire State Building’s role in popular culture, from its starring role in classic films like King Kong to its status as a symbol of hope and aspiration in countless stories, adds an extra layer of significance to the experience. Beyond its architectural and cultural significance, visiting the Empire State Building offers a profound sense of connection to the city and its history. From its construction during the Great Depression to its enduring legacy as a testament to human ingenuity and perseverance, the building embodies the spirit of New York City itself—a city that never sleeps, constantly reinventing itself while honoring its past.

How to create your own Travel Bucket List?

Creating your own travel bucket list can be an exciting and fulfilling experience. Now, while it’s easy to go wild and just list down all the places you want to go to, there’s a method to this (trust me).

Bucket List Trips For A Lifetime Of Travel List

First, start by making a list of what you are interested in. You don’t have to get too detailed with it. Bullet points will do. Here’s an example below:

Goals and Priorities

Next, set your goals and priorities. Ask yourself these questions:

  • What do I want to achieve with my travels?
  • What exactly am I seeking?
  • Why do I need to travel?
  • Do I want to travel alone, or with someone? If I am traveling with someone, what do I want to achieve with this person?
  • Do I want a cultural experience? Do I want to just check certain iconic landmarks off my bucket list? Do I want both?

Once you’ve done the first two steps, start researching destinations that align with your goals and interests. Use travel websites, blogs, books, and social media to gather information. Make a list of places you’ve always dreamed of visiting and those that pique your curiosity. Consider factors like climate, seasonal weather conditions, safety, accessibility, and local customs when choosing destinations.

Budget and Constraints

Next, you’ll want to create a travel budget. Estimate the costs associated with each destination and experience on your list. Factor in expenses like transportation, accommodation, meals, activities, and souvenirs. Start saving accordingly. Also, determine your time constraints, and if there are any other limitations that might affect your travel plans.

Divide your travel bucket list into categories based on themes or regions. For example, you could have categories like “Adventure Travel,” “Cultural Experiences,” “Nature Escapes,” or “City Breaks.” Prioritize your list based on your budget, preferences and interests. Identify the destinations and experiences that are must-visits for you.

Keep an Open Mind/Stay Flexible

Keep in mind that plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances such as natural disasters, political unrest, or personal reasons.Be flexible and open to adjusting your travel bucket list as needed. New opportunities may arise, and your interests and priorities may evolve over time.

Bucket List Trips For A Lifetime Of Travel Document

Document Your Experiences

Keep a journal, blog, or travel diary to document your experiences and memories from each trip. Take plenty of photos and videos to capture the highlights of your adventures. Share your travel stories and recommendations with others to inspire them to create their own bucket lists.

Update and Celebrate

Periodically review your travel bucket list to track your progress and make any necessary revisions. Update your list with new destinations and experiences you discover along the way, and don’t forget to celebrate your achievements as you check off items from your bucket list and continue to pursue your travel dreams.

I love traveling, and sharing my own experiences. Traveling broadens your horizon, exposes you to different cultures, and provides you with opportunities to grow and step out of your comfort zone. It satisfies your innate curiosity about the world and reminds you of the beauty and diversity that exists beyond your own backyard. As such, when it comes to bucket list trips, I believe that the destination is as important as the journey itself.

As someone who always wanted to travel…

As someone who always wanted to travel to the Maldives but never quite got round to booking, I'm glad I waited for a trip like this! The Real Maldives trip was fantastic. The opportunity to spend time on the local islands immersed in the culture and laid back atmosphere was a real bonus. The guest houses and the food was fantastic. Our local guides provided great insight into life on these islands away from the resorts. The added bonus of seeing Manta's onour first snoreklling trip was amazing. I enjoyed all of the activities, kayaking, snorkelling coral nurseries and the speed boat trips were moslty awesome. The second half of the trip was spent on the gorgeous Reethi Beach Resort with an all inclusive package topped off an amazing trip yet again with the Bucketlist Team. This is my 7th Trip with The Bucketlist Company, with 3 more booked, including The Ultimate Maldives Liveaboard trip, can't wait to go back!

Sahara Desert

Amazing first trip with this company to the Sahara Desert. Our guide Dave was so friendly and he was knowledgeable about the areas we visited. The local guides were all amazing too- making up our camps , finding the way through sandstorms and always asking if everyone was ok. I cannot fault the food and still don’t understand how the chef created such lovely meals for us.

Winter Toubkal Feb 2024

This was my second experience with TBLC and it didn't disappoint. My adventure didn't get off to the best start though, as I had arranged my own flight I spent two and a half hours sat in the heat outside of Marrakech Airport waiting for the bulk of the group to arrive (I waited 30 minutes for someone with the sign, and then told it wouldn't be long until the others joined). As a result, I missed out on sightseeing that afternoon which didn't get me off to the best start and I arrived stressed, thirsty, hungry and tired. I have been offered a refund for my transfer but that doesn't make up for the lost time in Marrakech that I was looking forward to. Nonetheless, the rest of the trip was fantastic! The Riad we stayed in for Marrakech (Riad Omar) was ok, but expect budget. It would be lovely for there to be a slightly fancier accommodation option, but it is adventure travel. One benefit for us was that there was a Sahara group heading out the same time so there was a really lovely buzz and we got to chat to them about their experience too. The local team were great, but the benefit of TBLC is the UK guides they use on many of their adventures. Jake is an asset to TBLC ensuring everything ran smoothly from the outset and he was fully present for the duration of the trip. He was always doing his best to ensure that the whole group were having a good time and was very reassuring when I had a couple of wobbles! The Winter climb hopefully allows for snow and a big dump the week prior to our trip meant we were in crampons from the refuge up to the summit. Jake and the local guides were assessing everyone from the outset and adapted plans accordingly (e.g. changing lunch locations due to high winds, summiting a day early to spend less time at the refuge). We were taught mountain skills and any equipment could be easily rented. While the altitude of Toubkal isn't too bad, I would definitely say that it is a trickier climb than it seems on paper so do your research in advance. Also be aware that the refuge you will be sharing mixed and on double bed style bunk beds... we had 15 people in one room. This isn't a fault of TBLC, just a fact of climbing Toubkal itself that people should be aware of. We did miss out on a second day in crampons but with a very good reason. TBLC ensured that we all were wearing helmets during the climb as it is steep, icy and we were using sharp equipment. On the evening post-summit a local climber had slipped close to the Refuge and had very badly injured his head. Jake was the first on scene and has a vast experience of mountain/expedition first aid. It was great to see how well trained the UK guides TBLC provide are to be able to deal with things like this over and above the call of duty. Essentially Jake (and a few of our first aid kits) saved a life that evening. It was reassuring to see we were in safe hands! Food on the trek was great, although you may get bored of tagine after a while. In terms of extensions, I didn't book any with TBLC however be mindful that their hot air balloon extension can be booked much cheaper locally. I spent the free day on a cycle tour in the mountains with Argan Extreme Sports (AXS) which was excellent. In the evening I did a food tour with Moroccan Food Adventures which was also great (although I did miss the final meal). What TBLC don't advise, and I've had on both my EBC and Toubkal trips is that on free days they organise a local guided tour. Again, another great example of little added extras for those who want to take advantage. Overall, a fabulous trip to Morocco and I can't wait for Mera Peak in November.

Thanks so much for your review Katherine, we're so glad to see you had a fabulous trip overall and we're excited to see how you much you enjoy Mera Peak in November!

The Best of Nepal

Well what can I say, my first experience with the Bucketlist company was the best holiday of my life, The Best of Nepal trip has everything you could ever wish to see in Nepal, from Stupas , Temples , stunning mountains and wild animals to the most happy friendly people. The organisation was first class from beginning to end. The local guides were very attentive and friendly. I have made friends for life and we are already planning our next trips , Thank you Keith and everyone at TBC

Thank you so much for your review Paul! Hope to see you on another Bucket List Trip soon!

Gozo Scuba Diving

Booked this trip looking to do my open water and advanced and it didn't disappoint. As standard with The Bucket List Company things ran smoothly. Pick up from the airport, ferry and check into hotel. The hotel was fantastic the rooms having a kitchen etc if you didn't want to eat out all the time. The diving and tuition was outstanding in all aspects. After completing my open water I seamlessly moved onto my advanced after guidance from Aaron the instructor and Keith . Couldn't fault anything throughout the trip would certainly recommend 👌

Date of experience : September 18, 2023

Hello Michael, thank you for your review and recommendation. Congrats on achieving both your scuba qualifications, great job! We hope to see you again soon.

Mount toubkal

British guides and local guides very knowledgeable and always there at hand Specially when my husband had altitude problems on the Mt Toubkal trip Accommodation and food very high quality for the area .All freshly prepared. We always knew what was happening next, was well informed and always felt safe. We feel the bucket list company are highly committed to customer satisfaction A couple in our sixties

Gozo diving! woop!

Completing an Open Water Scuba course in the lovely place of Gozo, Malta, was my 1st solo holiday abroad. I felt in safe hands with Bucketlist arranging alternative travel & transfers when i couldn't travel the same day as my group. The venue & centre were in the same place which was perfect for relaxing after the day or popping to your room if you needed something between the diving plans. Evenings were relaxed and free to do as we pleased, with different groups of us arranging to go out for food. We also had some flexi days to tour or complete more dives. I cannot wait to return and do more.

Thank you for your review. Knowing that you've had an awesome trip makes all the difference to us.

What an experience of a lifetime

The bucket list company do exactly that, offer bucket list trips. Just come back from climbing kilimanjaro with them, Keith was there the whole way through to guide and advise us, he used exceptional porters and guides on the mountain to make our experience just that "bucket list" can't fault them Overall a solid 10/10 from me

Hi Craig, thank you for your review. Where will be next for you? We look forward to seeing you again soon, no matter where you choose.

Toubkal 4 Day Trip

Jake is the best UK guide for TBLC. He makes every trip fun and it feels like you are going on holiday with an old friend (albeit one who knows his stuff when it comes to first aid, mountain safety and customer care). All of TBLC in country guides are knowledgeable and approachable and I have come away with some good friends from my trips over the years. Toubkal shouldn’t be underestimated, you do need to have a basic level of fitness but TBLC will do all they can to support you on summit night. I’m looking forward to my next trip 🙂

Morocco and The Sahara trek

Very professional, very friendly. Had the best trip to The Sahara that I could have hoped for. Cannot recommend highly enough, the English guide was extremely knowledgeable and the local guides could not have been more helpful. Will definitely book another adventure soon.

Thank you so much for your review Sarah, really glad to hear you had such an incredible adventure. Looking forward to seeing you on another bucket list adventure soon!

5* Morocco Trip

Just returned from a Morocco Bucket List Trip and had the best week away for years. Amazing destination, everything ran like clockwork no delays or waiting around, and hotel accommodation was very special. All in all a fantastic trip, many amazing memories created & superb value for money. Thanks Keith & The Bucket List Team, can't wait to get on your next trip!

Thank you for leaving us a review, Phil, and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Lovely trip

Very professional company, any questions you have they are quick to reply. The guide - Jake was very patient, understanding and helpful, took us to some really nice places to eat and showed us around Marrakech. Met some very wonderful people as well. Will book another trip with the Bucket list company! One piece of advice I would give to girls going on this trip is don’t get friendly with the local guides, they get a bit dodgy and uncomfortable to be around.

Date of experience : October 30, 2023

Thank you so much for your review! It really was a great trip with lots of good food! I was saddened to hear that the local guides had made you feel uncomfortable, this is something we take very seriously at The Bucket List Company and I have launched a full investigation into this to insure it does not happen again. We always focus on making everyone as welcomed and comfortable as possible throughout. I hope to see you on another trip with us soon though! Jake

Just got back from 2 wonderful weeks in Nepal, a group of 10 which was great. Everything was so well organised, we got to see so much of Nepal from the beautiful mountains to going on safari, highly recommend The bucket list, next trip already booked

Spanish Adventure Week

I highly recommend the Spanish Adventure Week with The Bucket List Company. The itinerary was packed with exhilarating activities, including rock climbing, via ferrata, canyoning, and downhill mountain biking. Each activity provided a perfect blend of thrill and challenge, making for an adventurous and memorable experience. The group I travelled with was absolutely lovely! The camaraderie among us was fantastic, filled with laughter and even a few goodbye tears. It’s amazing how travel and adventure can bring people together so quickly and meaningfully. A massive shoutout to our guides, Keith, Kris, and Dave, who were exceptional throughout the week. Their expertise, attentiveness, and friendly nature ensured that we were always safe, comfortable, and having the time of our lives. Their dedication to our experience truly enhanced the trip. Meeting such incredible people was one of the highlights of this adventure. I feel honoured to have shared this journey with them and am inspired by the connections made. I am already looking forward to the next adventure. If you’re considering an adventure filled getaway, this Spanish adventure week should be at the top of your list!

Sahara Trek

6 trips later and I’m still coming back for more and will be back in the years to come! This trip only adds to the amazing memories and experiences I’ve had with this company! It was well organised and went so smoothly, the UK guide Dave was amazing and sooo knowledgeable The in country guides were amazing too, how they managed to make such delicious food with so much sand about is mind blowing! I love these trips and the people I meet on them, I come away with some fantastic new friends and memories to last a lifetime Keep up the good work!

Toubkal 2022

Toubkal 2022 - what a trip! I just got back and had the most incredible experience. As someone who travels solo alot, it was a bit daunting going with a group but everyone was so nice and the group dynamic actually made the experience for me. Our trip host made us all feel welcome from the off and was so organised throughout. everything was thought-of and covered and i had the most unfortgettable and enjoyable week. Cant wait for more bucketlist adventures!!

Date of experience : September 24, 2022

Thanks Grace, we really appreciate your review & hope to welcome you on one of our trips again soon.

Amazing Machu Pichu

Just back from the Inca Trail to Machu Pichu trek in Peru. What an absolutely fantastic experience, every part of the trip was very well planned and organised, the guides and porters there did an unbelievable job and made the trip unforgettable. Everyone on the tour was really lovely and we laughed so much even on the long hard trek days, unbelievable memories were made. Can't wait for my next trip in November with the bucket list company 😀

My everest base camp trip 1/05/23 was amazing. I met the bucket list on Kilimanjaro last year and loved the vibe so when I was looking to book everest I knew I was going to book with them. Jake is a really lovely guy and makes you feel really comfortable instantly when travelling as a solo female this is important. Jake had genuine relationships with the local guides which is lovely to see. Adventure travel with a personal touch at its best ☺️ Looking forward to my next trip.

Wow! That sounds amazing thank you very much for your review, we are so pleased you had a great experience.

I did the inca trail and rainbow…

I did the inca trail and rainbow Mountain through the bucket list company, it honestly was an amazing experience.. the trip was well organised and the food was absolutely brilliant, everything was delicious and they catered to my dietary requirements Communication was good throughout the booking process and they was more than happy to give me information and reassure me when I was a little worried about what to expect, I loved the fact you can pay monthly or all at once (I chose to pay monthly as I couldn't afford to pay all at once) The tours was so informative and on the inca trail everyone was so encouraging and supportive to each other especially when me or someone else wanted to give up, I suffered with extreme altitude sickness especially on the second day of the trek but we all worked as a team to keep positive and keep going, in the end we all made it to machu Picchu and I'm honestly so proud of myself and the group for our once in a lifetime achievement.. it was one of the hardest but best experiences I've ever had. I can only fault one thing and that's when it came to tipping the porters... I only had a limited amount of funds to take with me for spending money/food etc which wasn't much due to lack of funds at home and affordability thanks to raising bills, loss of a job and growing kids etc Because I couldn't tip the porters as much as everyone else (I even tried explaining my reasons why) I got told they was disappointed in me which then made me feel like sh#t for the rest of the night and have a small panic attack/crying session at the dinner table, I also felt like I was left out a little bit after that and like people didn't want to talk to me (this is why it's not 5 stars) Other than that I can't fault this company and will most likely do another trip in the future

Sahara Desert Trek

Excellent trip, fun and knowledgeable UK guide along with amazing local guides. We were so well taken care of In every way. Food was amazing considering we were in the middle of the desert, I have even bought my own tagine 😊 The trip was beautiful, especially the dunes!! Captured some amazing pictures along the trek but you do need a good level of fitness, and mine was below average unfortunately which made parts of the trek difficult and less enjoyable but this has nothing to do with the Bucket List Company and everything to do with me. The guides on the trip were exceptional and took good care of me. Met a fantastic, lovely group of people who helped me in more ways than one, I will be eternally grateful to them all. I would definitely recommend The Bucket List Company to anyone who wanted an adventure holiday and have two more booked myself

Jordan trip was brilliant- I’d wanted to go to Jordan for years… being able to pay in instalments made it possible; the itinerary was packed with interesting visits and experiences from ancient ancient desert and biblical sites; a new take on the crusades; star gazing; Petra and on it went ; walking into Petra from the desert, although painful on the knees was fantastic. Knowledgeable guide about history, geography and contemporary politics. great support from the BL guide. Fab food. Never done a group tour before and no way I coukd have got all this together solo! Thanks 😊

Had a great time at an amazing place…

Had a great time at an amazing place with amazing people. All so well organised and took everyone's needs into consideration. The itinerary was exceptional, we saw tourist attractions in Istanbul without pressure of time, visited tourist and areas where locals lived in cappadocia, experienced the most amazing balloon flight and had lots of free time. The guide was really friendly and knowledgeable, always ready to help in any way he could. Only my second trip abroad alone but I felt safe at all times and met some friendly people who I hope to bump into again on my travels. Will definitely use bucketlist company again and recommend to others.

First time travelling with the Bucket List Company and it won't be the last. Great itinerary to see the main sights in Istanbul and Cappadocia region with a sunrise balloon flight being the highlight. High standard of accommodation/vehicles and all well organised. The local guide was fantastic - so knowledgable, friendly and went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic trip. Thank you Bucket List Company!

Excellent Istanbul/ Cappadocia holiday

Just returned from an excellent well organised Istanbul/Cappadocia trip. Very knowledgeable guide entertained us and cater for all our needs. Fantastic sunrise balloon trip with loads of cultural, historic and scenic activities. Great hotel in Istanbul right in the heart of the city near the grand bazaar within easy walking distance of many city attractions.

Thank you for your review Keith. It was indeed an excellent trip wasn't it, such a special destination. We look forward to seeing you again soon.

Everest Base Camp 2023

Everest Base Camp 2023 My partner and I have just come back from the best experience we have ever had. We travelled to Nepal and hiked to Everest Base Camp with the BucketList company. Dave, the Sherpas and everybody else involved made this possible and we had the best experience ever, so much so, we are 100% going back to Nepal to experience some other mountains. This was a once in a lifetime trip and one we will never forget.

Paradise island

I fell in love with the idea of going to Easter Island nearly 50 years ago at primary school. Only now finding a tour group who does the ideal trip for what I wanted. Walking, cycling and a city trip in Chile, into the desert, climbing volcanos, and then off to the magical Easter Island. TBLC did the best trip possible, yes it’s expensive, but oh my so very much worth every penny.

Mount Toubkal/Morocco

Company was great from start to finish, really friendly team, very clear communication, a pleasure to deal with. The trip itself was very well organised, all our guides were so knowledgeable and made everything run very smoothly. It was my first trip abroad by myself and to say I was nervous is an understatement but right from the meeting at the airport I felt in good hands due to the confidence and organisation from Jake our UK guide. I will absolutely not hesitate to use them again and have already started planning my next trip!

Thank you so much for your review Emma, it's amazing to see people experiencing solo travel for the first time and we're so happy to hear you had such an incredible time! We hope to see you soon to tick off another adventure!

Scuba diving trip Gozo

I've recently got back home from my fifth Bucket List adventure this time from the Gozo scuba diving trip. Again, another fantastic adventure as always. From the moment you press book to the time you say your farewells to everyone at the end of the trip, the whole process is well informed, simple to understand, great communication and smoothly done. On the trips themselves you are well looked after by all the travel guides involved. I really cant fault any experience and adventure I've been on. With another trip booked for this year and more ready to book I would definitely recommend using The Bucket List Company.

Surf & Yoga Retreat

I recently went on the Surf & Yoga retreat and it was everything I wanted and needed! With a great mixture of adventure, excitement and relaxation, it was the perfect trip. Keith was a brilliant leader, with plenty of information about the local areas. All activities were well planned and so much fun! I wouldn't think twice about booking this again, if it wasn't for all the other adventures they have available to chose from! I will definitely be using The Bucket List Company again that's for sure!

Machu Picchu Inca Trail

Fabulous trip from start to finish. The Guides, both in the UK (Jake) & Peru (Alex), were professional, well organised and very friendly-everything was well planned and executed. The Inca trail was a truly once in a lifetime experience, and i wouldn’t hesitate in recommending this trip and this company-5 stars all the way.

Amazing trip to Gozo

The week spent on Gozo, Malta learning to scuba dive was incredible! The location, the organisation, the people - from start to finish the whole trip was amazing. I loved the flexibility and choice available and it was the perfect way to learn to scuba dive. The Bucket List Company made everything super easy and took the stress out of travelling so we could just enjoy our trip!

Date of experience : 20 October 2022

Thank you for your review Emma, we are glad to have delivered a brilliant experience for you.

Tremendous company

Tremendous company who I'd recommend to anyone looking to realise their dreams. Spent 2-3 weeks in the Himalayas on the Everest Base Camp trek and couldn't have asked for more. Our guide, Gareth, made everything run seamlessly, and was a joy to trek with, the Sherpas and porters were absolutely superb, and from booking to finishing the trip, I was impressed with The Bucket List Company. I wouldn't look anywhere else.

Date of experience : 31 March 2022

Amazing Chris, thank you so much.

Great trip to Gozo!!

I can’t fault this trip, from the ease of booking and paying in installments through to the seamless travel transfers and information throughout the week - thanks Keith! All the team at Ritual Dive were professional and great fun throughout the PADI course, and the fun dives exploring a cave and wreck were hassle free on board and amazing down below! Our group were mixed in age and experience, however, all like-minded and adventurous with firm friendships formed and future plans made....including already booking Gozo 2020! Highly recommend this trip and I’ll be checking out more trips to tick off my bucket list too! Thanks team!

Wow, it sounds amazing. Thank you very much for your review and recommendation Marie.

A unique and wonderful experience…

A unique and wonderful experience from start to finish. Keith took a group of like-minded business people to Morocco taking in Marrakech and Agadir. The week was amazing from start to finish and we got to fully indulge and experience what Morocco has to offer, more so than what you could simply do on a standard weekend city break. This was Bucketlist stuff and such value for money. I just can’t wait for the next adventure…

Everest Base Camp - May 2023

After having just returned from a trip to Everest Base Camp with The Bucket List Company, I can't rate the company highly enough. From start to finish the service was friendly and professional and whilst on the trek, I felt supported and well informed. The local team used on the trek were fabulous and the Bucket List Company Leader (Jake) who was with us for the whole trip was amazing.

Date of experience : 01 May 2023

Sounds like a phenomenal experience and we are so glad you had an amazing experience. Really hope to see you again soon for another trip!

Sensational. Memories I’ll treasure for life!

Sensational. Memories I’ll treasure for life! I was probably in school the last time I went on a group / organised event. I’ve been used to doing things off my own back, booking everything individually for years! My recent trip to Morocco with The Bucket List Company really opened my eyes to the benefits of going with someone who knows exactly where the best sights are…along with all of the best bars and restaurants! Thoroughly enjoyable, and I’m inspired to book more trips with TBLC. Big thanks to Keith and the team.

This was my first solo travel experience and TNT (Himanshu) made it amazing and memorable. All the arrangements were up to the par including hotel and commute to the destinations, there wasn't a moment when I felt unsafe and uncomfortable. Thanks for the fun and adventurous trip! Hope to travel again with TNT again soon in the future :)

Alaska Fall Trip

I Joined this group for Alaska Trip in September 2022 and It was one of my Best trips ever. I always travel solo but it was my best decision to travel with this group. I really enjoyed it a lot, made many new friends and enjoyed the northern lights dancing all over the sky every night. It was possible because of our organizer, he made all efforts to take us to every place where we can see the northern lights at their best, and yes we made it. It was an amazing trip with an amazing group of people and with a very cooperative organizer. Highly recommended. Will travel again with this group!

Our guide , Phil, was fantastic. Phil had each day planed, kept things fun. Phil knew local restaurants gave choice, verity, of foods to eat. Phil was knowledgeable on the excursions and had us reserved times so that we did not have to wait. Want to thank Phil for making this a fun trip for my wife & I along with the rest of the group. Yes, I would do this again with Phil as my guide.

Took the chasing slot canyons trip

Took the chasing slot canyons trip. The slot canyons were amazing and the guides were knowledgeable. The slot canyon hikes were advanced and highly technical on two of the hikes. I’m an Intermediate hiker and was able to do 2 of the 4. It would have been helpful for the guides to have some safety equipment with them like ropes. Most of the hotels were good except the La Quinta in Las Vegas was a true one star hotel. All in all, a good trip. Great people on the trip also. I would travel with bucket list again but ask a lot more questions in the future.

Date of experience : May 25, 2021

Thank you Linda for your feedback, glad you had good time on the trip, about the hotel La Quinta is a Wyndham group and it is not a 1 star, as it is a 3 star Inn based hotel, our hotel selections is depends on the total room availability, distance to the airport and convenience in terms of transportation to our members. Look forward to see you on the next adventure.

I enjoyed my trip to Yellowstone

I enjoyed my trip to Yellowstone/Grand Tetons with Himanshu and the rest of the group! It was well organized and we had a great time. National parks are a bit hard to travel unless you *really* know where you're going and what you want to see. Group travel like this was the best and most efficient way to see and to do a LOT. Looking forward to more trips like that soon.

Colorado Winter tour

Good to travel in a group with a guide who is organised and flexible to the needs of the group. It is expensive but ok value for money. I thought the ski/snowboarding was part of the package but this was extra, as was snowmobiles and snowtubing. Got to see a big Moose on the snowshoe hike.

Date of experience : February 22, 2021

Thank you Alan for your feedback, ski/snowboarding and snowmobiles are optional activities and it was clearly mentioned in the itinerary under the inclusions. Egypt trip 2019

Egypt trip 2019 Truly one of the best trips I've ever had. It was my first time ever doing a solo trip. Himanshu gave us an itinerary and a list of good traveling tips for Egypt months in advance. He is very organized and responsive so I never had any concerns. Everything was already taken care of. All I had to do was show up. The scenes in Egypt were breathtaking and I saw places that I never thought I'd see. I got to experience floating over the Valley of Kings in a hot air balloon! How many people can say they got to travel via plane, train, bus, hot air balloon, and boat all within one week?! Such an adventure! The people I met in our group were so cool and accommodating, all with their own unique backgrounds and stories. Dancing on the boat with them while sailing up the Nile River is one of my favorite memories. I now have new friends scattered all over the United States. The tour-guides were so friendly and patient despite the fact that our group kept scattering in different directions taking pictures. If you're looking for a fun, stress-free vacation where you get to move around, meet new fun people, and immerse yourself in new cultures, TripNTrek is for you. I'm definitely doing another trip.

Had a great experience through Trip N Trek recently in Alaska; appreciated the trip leaders' ability to handle logistics so you could focus on the experience and having fun. It was just like traveling with a group of friends, with the added bonus of the itinerary being all taken care of. Australia 2023

We had a great time on our Australia trip! Although the tour was advertised as group travel, no one else booked so it was just my dad & I. We started off in Cairns, where we did an amazing guided Daintree Rainforest/Cape Tribulation tour. Highlights here included swimming in a sparking clear swimming hole, and seeing a wild Cassowary with it’s chick. The next day we did The Great Barrier Reef- the scuba diving was one of my favorite parts of the whole trip. The leg of the trip in Sydney was pretty action packed, and there was a tour scheduled for pretty much every day. Our favorite tours were Blue Mountains Tour and the Wildlife, Waterfalls and Wine Tour. It was nice to go on an Australian vacation and have someone else plan it for you. I can say that Bucket List Group Travel booked some of the highest rated tours, and we were very pleased with that aspect. All of our airport transfer drivers were convenient, kind, and informative. All of our communications with Bucket List Group Travel were easy through WhatsApp. Some things to note- when we arrived we did not like the hotel that was booked for Cairns. We ended up leaving and staying at a better hotel. Bucket List Group Travel was helpful in getting us a partial refund and said they would no longer book that hotel for their tours. I would recommend checking the reviews on TripAdvisor and raising concerns before checking into your hotels. The hotel in Sydney was great- perfect location in Darling Harbor. Overall, we are pleased and made amazing memories.

Awesome But Super Hard

OMG! It was AWESOME! But, I will never do that again! It was way harder than I could have ever imagined! And I thought I was in shape! Guides are knowledgeable and very helpful. Several times our group was surprised about what we were responsible to pay for out of pocket. So plus up your budget. Bring a LOT of Soles for tips. They all more than earn their tips, but the shock is how many people you have to tip. A couple of dozen at least. We, humiliatingly, ran out of Soles and gave or not gave what we had. We felt bad because they work so hard for their money. You have to pay for most of the bathroom use on the trails and road trips. Remember to bring a big ziplock bag to carry out your used toilet paper for those times you need the bushes instead. Everyone was helpful and nice. The porters performed miracles! Visa was accepted way more than MasterCard. I had MasterCard. 😩 T-Mobile works there, but not AT&T without a huge extra charge. I had AT&T 😩 Use fingerless gloves when using your walking sticks to protect your hands from blisters and scrapes. We all had thick winter gloves. Too thick to use comfortably. Communication from the various agencies were either information-overload or sketchy and left you wondering. Either way you have to either remember or figure it out. But it somehow comes together. A bit frustrating. Drink the coca tea!!! It will help you so much! I also recommend you beef up on your antioxidants to keep you from getting sick. I recommend vitamin C and Zinc.

Trip N Trek set the standard for how travel tours should be!

I recommend Trip N Trek to anyone looking for an adventure off the beaten path with an experienced, trustworthy, responsive, and flexible leader. Our tour leader Himanshu essentially made the trip experience for me as great as it was due to his professionalism, experience, and patience. I am typically the planner and organizer for all personal and professional matters in my life, so to be able to relax knowing someone else has all details under control, was priceless to me. I've never experienced such relaxed and trusted comfort on a travel tour group before. I've also never felt I got as much value for the price of the trip as I have with Trip N Trek. Each day we experienced multiple excursions and tours, and everything was of high quality. I do not feel Trip N Trek was cheap or unfair with any of the experiences on our trip. Although there were moments of free time and optional activities, each day there were ample opportunities to see well-known sites, meet local people, and also delve into unknown territories...I was never bored, nor did I ever feel I could have planned this better myself. I cannot give enough good reviews about Trip N Trek and our leader, Himanshu! Im definitely looking forward to booking more vacations with them and experiencing another life-changing trip and trek off the beaten path. One last thing to note is Himanshu is always quick to respond to all inquiries before, during, and after the trip. I've never received responses to my questions from a company so fast, and his speed never wavered, even after I paid for the trip in full. This company is not out for churning quick profits and then ignoring its customers, I sincerely felt like a valued friend since I started communicating with Trip N Trek months before my scheduled trip, and that never changed, even after the trip ended. After traveling around the world with eight different companies, I can sincerely say Trip N Trek is the best tour company ever!!!

Delightfully Fast Paced and Affordable

For me, it’s not whether or not I’m going to travel to all the places that Bucket List offers (because I am!), it’s whether or not I am going to use a group travel service, or attempt to plan the trips myself. And having now been on several international trips with Bucket List, most recently Morocco, I can unequivocally say that these itineraries consistently manage to offer— and deliver!— a more efficient and cost effective travel experience than I could ever put together myself. This is especially true for destinations where safety issues or even the language/cultural barrier is a sizable concern, as your guide will always be there, working behind the scenes, to smoothly facilitate your journey: so that you can spend less time worrying about how you are going to get from place to place, and more time enjoying the things you actually came to see. If you were to attempt to plan a similar trip yourself, to any of Bucket List’s destinations, you would quickly see that the amount of things you could cram into a day would be reduced by about HALF, while the price of the trip would inversely double! Spend more, but see less? No thank you! Lol! These Bucket List adventures somehow manage to always operate smoothly like clockwork, but with the flexibility and spontaneity that traveling with only a SMALL group can allow. For example, on every trip I’ve taken with BL thus far, the guides have always been very receptive and adaptive to the vibes of the group— extending or shortening various excursions to meet the overall mood— in order to achieve the perfect balance between History, Shopping, Nature, and Photography time. If your idea of a perfect trip weighs exceedingly heavy (or solely) on just ONE of these facets, maybe Bucket List travel is not for you. Also, having said that, I want to mention that ALL of Bucket List’s itineraries move at a delightfully FAST PACE. Know that even the itineraries for destinations that don’t sound overtly physical (like, I’m not talking here about the ones chocked full of backpacking and hiking and whatnot…), are still going to be pretty darn physically demanding, just simply based on how fast these trips move, how long the days are, and how much is crammed into each and every waking moment. But they are this way by design! How else are these trips going to succeed in delivering all the sights and destinations you see spelled out on the trip descriptions? Personally, this is what I love most about the Bucket List trips: I always feel that not a moment is wasted, and that we are consistently making the most out of the time and money being spent in a given location. I didn’t sign up to hang out in hotel rooms, and if you are reading this and considering a BL trip, I suspect maybe you don’t want that either. Conversely, if you are not a fit, high-energy individual, and your idea of a perfect travel itinerary is more of a vacation and less of an adventure (with copious amounts of free time allotted for lingering in your hotel room or stagnating on a beach), then the Bucket List travel experience might not be a good fit for you. Just saying. Plus, anyone CAN plan that type of relaxing, resort vacation for themselves, and I invite you to do so! That way, I can continue to take advantage of the fast pace and low cost that I have come to associate, expect, and enjoy from the unique Bucket List travel experiences. :-)
