A year after the 52-year-old rapper’s foreclosed Miami Beach mansion was sold for $10.85 million, the home is expected to hit the market once again for a whopping $33.9 million, The Post has learned. 

This listing follows an extensive renovation plan of the 20,000-square-foot estate by the latest owners — which includes all new flooring, air conditioning system, elevator, bathrooms, light fixtures and windows. 

“They bought it at a very good price,” Lourdes Alatriste of Douglas Elliman, who is representing the sale, told The Post. “They were at the right place at the right time.” 

Located in the upscale gated community of Palm Island, Birdman, born Bryan Williams, purchased the seven bedroom, 13 bathroom home in 2012 for $14.5 million. 

Five years later, after some financial burdens, the rapper and Cash Money Records co-founder attempted to list the home for $20 million. But after years of foreclosure proceedings, the price of the home was significantly reduced. 

Following the mansion’s makeover, the home’s amenities include a movie theater, chef’s kitchen, two pools, volleyball court and a private dock with 100 feet of water frontage.  

The home also features a grand foyer which leads to an expansive living room with direct water views, an office, gym and library. It also holds a pizza oven and an expansive downstairs entertainment area. 

The primary ensuite bedroom comes with two bathrooms, a sitting area with a fireplace and a private balcony. 

“We are talking about Palm Island — one of the best islands in Miami,” Alatriste explained. “It has privacy with 24-hour police security out in the front. It has a park, tennis courts and basketball court.”  

“With what we all went through last year with the pandemic, imagine a place like that with all of this space. The new luxury is not having to drive anywhere, but having a whole community right in your backyard.” 

The home boasts three separate structures, including one which was once used as Birdman’s recording studio. 

Despite its hefty price, the home averages the cost of the neighborhood. The house next door recently sold for $30 million. 

But this isn’t the first home Birdman has had to leave. Shortly after Hurricane Katrina in 2005, he abandoned his Louisiana home , which has sat idle for over 15 years. That home is now in pre-foreclosure and is expected up for auction soon.

According to brokerage Douglas Elliman Real Estate, which holds the listing, the property served as the setting for several Birdman-produced music videos.

According to public records, Williams purchased the waterfront home, located on Palm Island at 70 Palm Ave., in September 2012 for $14.5 million and sold it in July 2020 to the current owners for $10.85 million. Palm Island is a guard-gated, man-made island in Biscayne Bay just south of Hibiscus Island.

“Palm Island is one of my favorite islands because of the privacy, the location and the lifestyle,” said Lourdes Alatriste, a broker-associate with Douglas Elliman in Coral Gables, the listing agent. “There are tennis courts, basketball courts and a park, so you can walk around in the neighborhood, but you’re 15 minutes away from Brickell.”

The three-story gated home, built in 2004, has eight bedrooms, a total of 13 baths, a primary suite with his-and-hers bathrooms, a movie theater, chef’s kitchen, two pools, two detached guest houses, a gym and a four-car garage.

Outside, there’s a summer kitchen with pizza oven, entertainment space and a private dock. The home sits on a 30,000-square-foot lot with 100 linear feet of water frontage on Biscayne Bay.

Tour Birdman’s fascinating $20M Miami home

We at Curbed Miami would like to sincerely apologize to Birdman for not putting the proper respek on his gargantuan Miami Beach mansion a couple of weeks ago when news surfaced of the impending $20 million listing.

It wasn’t until it publicly hit the market yesterday when we became aware of the glorious interior details highlighted by the golden, respek-engraved backsplash behind the bar in one of the main living areas. There’s also leopard-print walls in the 3,500-square-foot master bedroom and a TV behind the mirror in the spa.

The Palm Island estate that used to belong to record producer Scott Storch—and Rockstar energy drink founder Russ Weiner before him—has seven bedrooms, 12 bathrooms and sizes up at just under 20,000 square feet. Co-listed by Brett Harris of Douglas Elliman and Alex Daguer of Fortune International Realty, Birdman’s pad also has two wine cellars, a summer kitchen with a pizza oven, a home theater, a volleyball court, and a pool overlooking the bay.

Is Birdman Facing Foreclosure on His Baller Mansion in Miami?

Last month,  we reported   Bryan “Birdman” Williams , co-founder of Cash Money Records, was looking for a quick sale of his blinged-out Miami mansion, slashing the price from $20 million to $16.9 million. Now we’ve learned what’s behind the rush.

The  South Florida Business Journal  recently reported Birdman is facing $12 million foreclosure proceedings, on not only his 19,970-square-foot luxury home, but also a 26,040-square-foot Miami office building, which is home to his Hit Factory Criteria Recording Studios.

In 2015, the hip-hop entrepreneur’s holding companies (which includes CM Spirits LLC, Criteria Operations LLC, and Williams himself) took out a $12 million mortgage on both buildings.

Now a complaint has been filed by the current mortgage holder, EMG Transfer Agent, an affiliate of Ellington Management Group, claiming Williams and his companies defaulted on the mortgage in February 2017 and owe $12 million in principal, plus interest.

Williams bought the Miami Beach mansion, built in 2004, for $14.5 million in 2012, the same year he acquired the North Miami office building for $1.7 million.

He immediately set about tricking out his Miami home with “two wine cellars; a movie theater that seats 13; a six-car, climate-controlled garage; 40-foot-tall entry foyer; an entertainer’s bar; a double staircase with custom iron railings … and a 2,000-square-foot master bedroom with two private balconies,” according to co-listing agent  Brett Harris  of  Douglas Elliman Real Estate .

The swanky baller paradise now has seven bedrooms and 14 bathrooms. Outside, the half-acre property features a pool, sand volleyball court, summer kitchen, and 100 feet of canal frontage, plus a dock that can accommodate a 100-foot yacht.

The office building in question is the headquarters for the 48-year-old music mogul’s Hit Factory Criteria Recording Studios, where a number of big-name musicians recorded over the decades. More recently, artists including  Destiny’s Child , Lil Wayne ,   and  Funkmaster Flex  have made hits on the premises.

The President and Dr. Biden are delighted to welcome members of the public to tour the White House. Public tour requests are scheduled through your Member of Congress and their Congressional Tour Coordinator. Constituents may reach your Member of Congress and Congressional Tour Coordinator through the U.S. House of Representatives Switchboard at 202-225-3121, the U.S. Senate Switchboard at 202-224-3121, or online at  www.congress.gov/members .

Consistent with prior practices, public White House tour requests must be submitted a minimum of 21 days in advance and no more than 90 days in advance of the requested tour date(s). Reservations cannot be accepted for tour dates outside this 21 – 90-day window.  

Public tours are typically available from 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday, excluding Federal holidays or unless otherwise noted. If your tour is confirmed, please note that you will be assigned a specific time.  All White House tours are free of charge. The White House tour schedule is subject to change, with little notice, based on inclement weather or official use.

If you are a citizen of a foreign country, please contact your embassy in Washington, D.C. for assistance in submitting a tour request.

Identification Requirements

All U.S. citizens ages 18 and older, and foreign nationals of all ages (including children), must present a valid, government-issued photo ID upon arrival for their tour. Acceptable forms of identification are below.

A U.S. driver’s license is not an acceptable form of identification for foreign nationals. No foreign-issued state IDs, foreign-issued driver’s licenses, expired passports, photocopies, other transmissions of these documents, or other forms of identification will be accepted. Individuals without acceptable identification, or whose identification does not exactly match the information previously registered, may be denied entry.

Getting Here

Use of public transportation is strongly encouraged, as there is no parking available on the White House complex and street parking is limited. The closest Metrorail stations to the White House are Federal Triangle (blue and orange lines), Metro Center (blue, orange, silver, and red lines), and McPherson Square (blue, orange, and silver lines).

The White House Tour entrance is located in Sherman Park at 15th Street NW and Alexander Hamilton Place NW. If arriving by rideshare, use the White House Visitor Center (WHVC) as the drop-off address. The WHVC is located at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20230, which is one block from the White House.

Restrooms are located at the White House Visitors Center, located at 1450 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, D.C. 20230. There are no restrooms available once you arrive for your tour.

Accessibility

The White House tour route is wheelchair accessible. Visitors who wish to use a White House wheelchair should notify a U.S. Secret Service officer upon arrival.

Guide animals are permitted in the White House.

Health and Safety Guidance

Guests who receive a confirmed tour reservation will be issued a White House Tour Pass ahead of their tour date containing pertinent health and safety guidance.

Know Before You Go

• Tours are self-guided and last approximately 45 minutes
• Eat a snack and stay hydrated prior to arrival.
• Dress for the weather, knowing you will be outside before your tour.
• Arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled tour time.
• No late arrivals are accepted.
• All guests must be previously registered via the RSVP link provided by the White House.
• Please silence your cell phone and refrain from phone calls during the tour.
• No flash photography or video recording is permitted during your tour.
• Visitors may call the 24-hour Visitors Office information line at 202-456-7041 for latest updates and information relevant to White House tours.
