The Safari Zoo is a wildlife park and leisure park, situated on the east coast. The Safari Zoo is located in Sa Coma, between Son Servera and Porto Cristo.  It is open throughout the year and there are over 600 animals on the park. You will find a good range of animals such as monkeys, elephants, gazelles, zebras, giraffes, hippos, lions, tigers, various types of birds. There are Mini-Zoo where a childrens can walk alongside the smaller animals such as pigs, goats or chickens.

You can drive-round the 3km safari park by yourself or you can take the ‘safari-train’ around the park, which leaves at regular intervals during the day. When driving around the park, the animals are free to run around. The monkeys can be a bit cheeky,  try to get inside a car. Keep your windows up! This is a great day out for the family. There is children’s playpark, cafeteria  and a small souvenir shop where you can buy a nice soft animal.

A Day Tour to Safari Zoo from Palma

Porto Crist is in Illes Balears (Balearic Islands), which is at a distance of 65 km from Palma. Watching wildlife closely is always a fascinating experience. The Safari Zoo is open throughout the year, and one can choose to take a train to the Zoo which will stop at various points of interest or if you wish to travel at your own pace then rent a car from Palma to Illes Balears and enjoy your drive through the panorama. Located on the east coast, the Safari zoo is only an hour's drive away from Palma.

Arrive early and explore the 3 km safari route which houses around 600 animals such as zebras, gazelles, giraffes, lions, tigers, numerous birds, and many other exotic animals. It is exciting to see the animals roam around freely. The mini-zoo which houses pigs, goats, and chickens is a favourite spot for children. The baby-zoo is an adorable section that is home to young-born elephants and reptiles. While driving you may be lucky to find some cheeky monkeys who wish to jump onto your car and get inside, so exercise caution and keep your windows up.

The Safari Zoo Children’s Playpark is a good playground for younger tots to run around and have some fun. Look out for some refreshments at a cafeteria beside the park. Buy souvenirs at a small souvenir shop located near the park. The Safari Zoo is a good fun outdoor activity for the whole family and is a wonderful experience. Palma also has many other attractions where day tours in and around the city are available.

Lions, tigers, giraffes, monkeys, and playgrounds for the children

Safari Zoo is a wildlife park and leisure park on the east coast that is open throughout the year. There are over 600 animals on the park, a restaurant and several playgrounds for children.

You can drive-round the 3km safari park to see giraffes, zebra and monkeys plus a 'baby zoo' with young elephants and reptiles born at the zoo. Or if you are without a car, you can take the 'safari-train' around the park, which leaves at regular intervals during the day.

Arrive early to see the animals feeding. Open from April to September - daily from 09:30 to 18:30; and from October to March - daily from 10:00 to 16:00. Tickets are €19 for adults and €12 for children (up to 12 years). Special group prices are available on request.

Groot hotel, mooie zwembaden en kindvriendelijk, veel te doen voor kinderen. Wij waren met de hele familie, kleine kinderen en 1 persoon mindervalide, jammer dat je dan in de badkuip moet douchen. Over het algemeen een goed verblijf gehad. Zelf wel een upgrade gevraagt omdat we wel een echt kleine kamer kregen in een trappengat. ( deur zat letterlijk in een trappengat). Maar eenmaal een andere kamer een top verblijf gehad. Er word veel voor kinderen gedaan en ook is het leuk voor de allerkleinsten wanneer je rechts uit het hotel wegloopt om vervolgens links de hoek in te slaan n...

Over het algemeen een goed verblijf gehad. Zelf wel een upgrade gevraagt omdat we wel een echt kleine kamer kregen in een trappengat. ( deur zat letterlijk in een trappengat). Maar eenmaal een andere kamer een top verblijf gehad. Er word veel voor kinderen gedaan en ook is het leuk voor de allerkleinsten wanneer je rechts uit het hotel wegloopt om vervolgens links de hoek in te slaan naar het gratis waterpark voor kinderen. Dit is naar mijn mening zelfs leuker voor jonge kinderen dan het waterpark la reserva. Hier betaal je als all inclusieve gasten €14,00 voor. Ook zijn er nog een aantal kleinere zwembaden met de dieptes van 1,40 tot 1,90 diep. En nog 2 peuterbadjes. Er is ook een tui kidsclub en elke avond een half uur kinderdisco. Waarna het overgenomen word voor muziek of andere optredens voor volwassenen. De entertainment kan je nog wel goed horen op je kamer. Maar wanneer je de ramen en deuren gesloten houd of verderop in het hotel een kamer hebt valt dit best mee. Je hebt richting het strand een aantal souvenirs winkels. En rechts voor het hotel een kleine supermarkt. Ook de carrefour ligt dichtbij hier heb je meer keus en liggen de prijzen lager. Eten en drinken kom je hier ook niet te kort. En ook ijsjes kun je halen zo veel je wilt. Echter bij de blokhut heb je een vriezer waar je wel tegen betaling een ijsje kan uitkiezen. Ook zit 1 x dineren a la carte inbegrepen. Keuzen uit oa de Italiaan Aziatisch en Mexicaans. Leuk hotel als je niet ********** weg wilt en lekker wil ligge aan het zwembad.

Nette kamer, goede service.. avond entertainment is erg luid, met jonge kinderen op bed, hier niet bij aanwezig geweest, maar konden meegenieten vanuit onze kamer. Wij vonden niet te luid, mag wel een tandje zachter!

Alles was netjes. Mooie zwembaden en appartement. Wel veel geluid van de (te) harde entertainment shows. Het is ook erg grootschalig, daar moet je wel een beetje van houden.
