Ok so im not cool watching wheel of fortune. Sorry but I like it. And my cable here in Monteverde is limited.

Ok so the owner of the Springs - La paz once again gives away a free vacation and a lucky woman won it 20 minutes ago on wheel of fortune.

Thanks owners of the springs- La paz for giving away nice vacations and promoting Costa Rica.

I know that some will say that these hotels take advantage of animals.

Anyone who has seen the animals that these hotels have saved from death (IMHO) please give us your opinions.

Thanks LA Paz- Springs for helping promote Costa Rica.

And say hi to Pat and Vanna

costa rica trip on wheel of fortune

I wasn't as creative back in my hotel days, least I never thought of doing anything that big. Probably could have done it, just never occurred to me.

I dig that La Paz and The Springs like to help animals. All good in my book. When corporations act responsibly they should be applauded. (insert clapping sound here).

Thanks for posting that MVGuy, Not a "Wheel Watcher" so I would have missed it.

Of course they have some great poor caged animals...the best way to see wild life... the animals will stay there for ever and the hotel owner will laugh all the way to the bank !

Thank you Wheel of Fortune...I´m like Inca...I do not have the time to watch such a great show...!

Just incredible...

The Peace Lodge

A five-star rainforest lodge experience.

The Peace Lodge is an 18-room, Five-Star, Boutique Hotel located on the grounds of the World Famous La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park. The mountain views from the guest room balconies of the Poás Volcano and La Paz River Valley are breathtaking. At 5,200 feet above sea level the temperature is cool and refreshing and the air is crisp and clean from the surrounding cloud and rainforest. As a Lodge Guest you will receive unlimited access to the hiking trails, waterfalls, trout lake, and animal sanctuary exhibits of La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park. You and our other guests will have the entire park to yourselves before 8 am and after 5 pm which are the optimal hours for observing the animals. The property resides at a very special altitude where cloud and rainforest coexist and is nestled between two national parks providing animals with a biological corridor. While staying with us, please try to schedule some time for relaxation in our cozy Ventanas Verdes Spa, or you can enjoy an “In-Room ” massage in front of the grand river stone fireplace in your room.

Located less than one hour from the San José (Juan Santamaria) Airport, the Peace Lodge is the perfect place to begin or end your vacation. You do not need to spend your first or last day in a city hotel. Please come spend them in the rain and cloud forest with us and still be close to the airport. We are also 20 minutes from the Poás Volcano, another “Must See” attraction in Costa Rica.

Capture the Essence of Costa Rica

Welcome to the Peace lodge, the ultimate awakening of your senses! We pride ourselves on offering our guests the most unique, mountain-lodge experience in Costa Rica, combining the beauty of nature and the comfort of Five-Star service and facilities.

The ultra-upscale accommodations are uniquely themed to complement the inherent beauty of their rain and cloud forest setting and the detailed architecture exudes a natural elegance and sophistication with every room boasting a Jacuzzi tub, an impressive river stone fireplace along with a shower that transforms into a waterfall with the turn of a knob. Picture perfect views of the La Paz River Valley and the towering Poás Volcano complete the experience.

Our Award-Winning Lodge introduces guests to a symphony of traditional Costa Rican experiences celebrating the natural wonders of the cloud forest and the splendid creatures that inhabit this magical environment.

Complimentary internet access is available to all our guests in the Rooms, Restaurants, Reception and almost the entire Park.

Awards & Media

The Peace Lodge was featured on the Travel Channel’s “Honeymoon Hotspots International” program as one of the eight most romantic honeymoon destinations in the world outside of the United States. The Lodge has also been honored by Conde Nast Traveler Magazine as the 4th Best Resort in all of Central and South America and rated the #1 hotel in its region by Tripadvisor repeatedly over the years.

La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park was the only privately owned park to be nominated by the readers of La Nacion Newspaper (the largest newspaper in Costa Rica) to be one of the “Seven Natural Wonders of Costa Rica”. The Park has also been featured on the Discovery Channel, Animal Planet and over twenty International travel and nature programs. You will also see the Peace Lodge and its sister property The Springs Resort & Spa featured as the Costa Rican Dream vacations on The Wheel of Fortune.

La Paz Waterfall Gardens Park for Lodge Guests

All guests are welcome to enjoy the park before it opens and after it closes, the optimal bird watching and wildlife viewing times. We are a great option as a bird watching hotel in the greater San José area because the rain forest literally surrounds the Lodge, and we have many “hard to see” species visit the property every day. Guided walking tours are available, but we suggest booking these at the same time you reserve your room.

Important Information

We recommend a three-night stay for guests looking to make the most of their nature lodge experience. Please keep in mind, as beautiful as we think our rain forest resort is, we recommend no more than a four-night stay so that you may explore other areas of Costa Rica. Guests arriving directly from the airport will awake to the sound of the rainforest and waterfalls rather than the city noise of San José. The drive from the airport is approximately one hour and very scenic. We strongly believe we are the best option if you want a luxury hotel near the San José airport.

History of La Paz Waterfall Gardens, The Peace Lodge

La Paz Waterfall Gardens Nature Park is a privately owned and managed ecological attraction that opened in the fall of 2000. The construction of the Hiking Trails, Butterfly Observatory and Reception began in July of 1998 and was mostly complete by the fall of 2000. Since opening we have continually added new and interesting exhibits to enhance the quality of your visit. Please Enjoy.

Our Mission Statement is to preserve and protect the natural environment of the area for the education, entertainment, and enjoyment of all ages of people. Our strategy combines environmentally conscious design with maximum educational impact to the visitor.

The Park comprises 70 acres (28 hectares) of land including approximately 40 acres of cloud and rainforest and 30 acres (12 hectares) of pastureland cut by a previous owner. The forest area is currently protected under Private Animal Sanctuary Status and we are in the process of reforesting the unoccupied pastureland. We are also an active member of the Costa Rican Network of Private Nature Reserves, the Green Stamp Program, the Blue Flag Program and the Environmental Services Payment Program.

The 2.2 miles (3.5 kilometers) of hiking trails and viewing platforms constructed from 1998-2000 were designed and built without cutting one tree or vine system. The materials for the trails and platforms were carried down on foot in order to avoid the use of heavy equipment in the forest. The credit for this tremendous accomplishment goes to Mr. Bernardo Picado who designed trails for the National Park System of Costa Rica prior to joining our team.

We added the Colibries Restaurant and the Serpentarium in 2004 and the Ranarium and Trout Lake in 2005. Our new enclosed Butterfly Observatory opened in August of 2006 along with the conversion of our existing Butterfly Observatory to an Aviary in the same year.

Construction on the Peace Lodge began in 2003 and various phases were completed over the next two years. In 2005 we had 17 units open. Less than a year after opening the Peace Lodge was featured on the Travel Channel show Trista and Ryan’s Honeymoon Hotspots International. There were only eight resorts outside the U.S. chosen for this honor.

In our effort to support the local economy, we employ 95% of our 120+ employees from the surrounding towns within a 12 mile radius (20 kilometers). These small communities previously existed almost exclusively on ranching and agriculture.

Here’s What It’s Really Like to Play ‘Wheel of Fortune’

W hen it comes to Wheel of Fortune , Pat Sajak and Vanna White may be the faces of the iconic game show, but it’s the players who are the big winners.

With the 8,000th episode of the long-running series airing on Friday, May 24, we thought it was time to find out: What’s it really like to play Wheel ?

Read on as four former contestants open up about their experiences.

Brenda Gallagher ( Season 34)

Remember When… the Las Vegas resident and Air Force veteran enthusiastically (and fittingly) solved a Song Title puzzle of “The Stars and Stripes Forever” and then crushed her final bonus round by guessing “My Happy Place”? She may be the only player to have ever fallen to their knees and kissed Sajak’s shoes, but the still-ebullient Gallagher stands by her reaction. “ Wheel of Fortune is my happy place!”

Instant Fan Club The internet immediately fell in love with Gallagher’s infectious energy, inspiring news articles, and online raves after her November 2016 episode aired. Many viewers posted that everyone should be as happy as her (#BrendaScream). “Well, they should!” she agrees with a laugh. “How many times do you get to win a brand-new car or thousands of dollars? It doesn’t happen every day.”

Wheel Watching When her episode aired, “we had a party over at a friend’s house,” the self-described “hometown comedian” recalls. “I didn’t tell anybody what transpired, but they always said, ‘We know you won…you always win.’ Because I live in Las Vegas.”

Winning Move Gallagher, who took home nearly $56,000, literally put her money where her mouth is. “I spent almost $20,000 on new choppers,” she admits.

Jack Louden ( Season 3)

Remember When… this retired music teacher made it through an entire 1986 episode without winning a thing? “That was a bummer,” Louden good-naturedly admits. “I think my problem was buying vowels, and then I hit a Bankrupt.” But he didn’t go home empty-handed. “Back then, they had consolation prizes. I won a lot of cookware and a case of Rice-A-Roni…. The best was a case of L’eggs pantyhose. My wife was thrilled!”

Got Game, Will Travel After hearing about auditions in Philadelphia, the “avid fan” hit the road. “I was living in Wilmington, Delaware, so I thought, I’m going to go up and just give it a shot. There were like 1,500 to 2,000 people there and we had to solve word puzzles on a sheet of paper. And of all those people, they picked 15. I was one of them.”

That Awkward Stage Way before the current, high-tech set in Culver City, Wheel shot in Burbank with some decidedly lo-fi effects. Not only did Vanna turn the letters herself, but also, “I kind of remembered the word board was on a big tractor trailer,” Louden says with a laugh.

Fortune Favors Through a Facebook group and the efforts of Wheel ’s alumni ambassador Alex Braun, Louden feels like his connection with fellow players is the biggest win possible. “It’s just one big, wonderful family,” he raves.

Fred Fletcher-Jackson ( Season 40)

Main Event More striking than the Maryland teacher and professional wrestler’s Hawaiian shirt was his March 21, 2023, clean sweep. But it’s Sajak’s move that left its mark. After Fletcher-Jackson (above left, with his father, Rich) added $40,000 with a correct bonus round guess (“His Mind Is Wandering”) to the $25,000 he’d already won, the host snuck up and put Fletcher-Jackson into a wrestling hold. Thanks to his improv skills, the amiable educator was ready. “When Pat came up to me, for a split second, I was like, ‘What is he doing?’ And then I figured it out and I was like, OK, I’ll play along!”

Get Ready to Rumble! Getting onto the Wheel stage was “surreal,” he says. “Everything is a lot smaller in the studio than it looks on TV…but I couldn’t believe that I was there. It felt like an out-of-body experience.”

Winning Move Fletcher-Jackson says part of his nearly $100,000 in winnings (earned from his first episodes and his Fan Favorites return) went to buying an engagement ring. “I proposed to [my fiancée] while we were on my prize trip to Costa Rica,” he adds.

Emilbert DeLeon ( Season 31)

We’d Like to Buy a W-O-W This guy stunned us all by guessing “New Baby Buggy” with only an N and E on the board. “Once I got up there onstage, a switch just flipped,” says the Bay Area nurse. “I was like, ‘I’m in the zone. I got this.’ And the rest was history.” $63,099 worth of it!

Quiet on Set DeLeon auditioned for the Wheelmobile (the show’s bright yellow Winnebago that treks across the U.S. looking for contestants) at a nearby casino. “Basically they pick random people,” he says. “My name was number 48 out of 50.” He had to keep his win under wraps for two months between taping and the May 19, 2014, airing. “It was very hard,” he admits. “Even more so because I had 10 family members with me that day. I was like, ‘You all need to be quiet about what just happened!’”

Pat on the Back While being on set is “very intimidating,” DeLeon credits Sajak with keeping it light during commercial breaks, noting: “He just chitchats with us a little bit, throws in a little joke or two. And he keeps us at ease. It’s going to be hard to see him retire.”

Winning Move DeLeon also returned for a 2023 Fan Favorites round and scored almost as much as in his initial haul. “The first installment, which was a good $50,000 in cash, I paid off my nursing [loans],” he says. “The second time, I paid off my parents’ bills, which was great, and I also bought a house.”

This is an excerpt from TV Guide Magazine’s  Wheel of Fortune: Farewell, Pat Sajak  issue. For more inside scoop on the long-running game show and Pat’s final episode, pick up a copy of the issue available on newsstands and for order online at  WheelofFortuneMag.com .

Pat And Maggie Sajak Give Fans A Backstage Tour On ‘Wheel Of Fortune’: “There Are Certain Things That Are Highly Classified”

Pat sajak cuts ‘wheel of fortune’ celebration short after contestants rejoice over incorrect answer: “no”, exit only ‘wheel of fortune’ contestant’s incorrect guess about butts is an instant classic, when is pat sajak’s last day on ‘wheel of fortune’.

A contestant on Wheel of Fortune made a rough mistake earlier this week, forgetting to include a word that was already on the board while taking her stab at guessing the puzzle.

On Monday (Feb. 6), Barbara from Culver City, Calif., competed in the popular game show and nearly guessed a puzzle correctly, aside from missing one already-solved word. The category was “What are you doing?” and the correct answer was, “Taking some time for myself.”

After guessing the letter “s”, Barbara revealed two missing letters and completed one of the five words in the puzzle; so when she went to solve the prompt, she was a shoo-in to win.

Unfortunately, Barbara guessed, “Taking time for myself,” omitting the word “some” and throwing away her chance to win an all-inclusive trip to Costa Rica. This left the next contestant, Cory, confused and he proceeded to guess all of the remaining letters in the puzzle, rather than taking a shot at solving it.

Host Pat Sajak cleared the air after Cory correctly solved the puzzle. He explained, “Cory was confused because he didn’t understand why Barbara’s was incorrect,” before going on to add that it’s because she forgot the word “some.”

Sajak continued, “She probably didn’t realize she did it.” As a result, Cory won $4,200 and the trip to Costa Rica, leaving some viewers flabbergasted.

“That lady just did all the work and then someone else got the trip,” tweeted one shocked viewer.

Another wrote , “This may be the dumbest crew of 3 contestants yet on wheel of fortune. My brain is melting at how bad these people are.”

BRO NOW SHE MISSED THE WORD OH MY GOD #WheelOfFortune pic.twitter.com/VvthMXZfqt — Paul Santasieri (@paulie_nuts) February 7, 2023

There was another close call where Barbara had guessed the correct letter and was about to solve the puzzle but then her time ran out.

“We can..” she started to say before the buzzer rang and she used her hands to cover her mouth. A viewer posted a clip of the event on Twitter with the caption “Oh, Barb.”

Must’ve been a bad day for Barbara because that was a string of unfortunate luck!

Wheel of Fortune airs weeknights at 7/6c. Check the Wheel website for local listings.

Veronica was the lucky recipient of a Collette trip to Costa Rica when she won Wheel of Fortune's "Show You the World" sweepstakes. After her trip, she wrote us and shared her experiences on tour. We think it's fair to say that she had a wonderful time.

Dear Collette,

Imagine my surprise when I learned that I was the winner of Wheel of Fortune's "Show You the World" Sweepstakes. After years of sweepstakes entries, my dream had come true. I finally won! I was so excited for my trip to Costa Rica and had my heart set on seeing all the beautiful butterflies and hummingbirds there, but as it turns out I saw so much more on this amazing trip!

My plus one turned out to be my daughter and her husband, who we paid to add to our trip. It was so worth it! In addition to our hotels and meals, everything on our itinerary was great. I particularly enjoyed the sightseeing trip to tour the Doka Coffee Estate, spending time at the beach in Tamarindo, touring the Mountverde Cloud Forest on a nature walk, and seeing the elusive endangered Resplendent Quetzal bird. Walking on the hanging bridges, we got to see a monkey eating in one of the trees that was just a mere ten feet away from us. He didn't even notice us. Needless to say, the views were breathtaking! Along with the majority of our group, my daughter and son-in-law opted to take the incredible zip line tour.

Costa Rica Hanging Bridge

I did get to see the beautiful butterflies and hummingbirds that I was looking for, but the breezy and beautiful cruise on Lake Arenal provided the opportunity to see so many different birds who call the area home. On the riverboat trip on the Cano Negro the next day, we saw even more birds, howler, spider and capuchin monkeys, as well as turtles and Jesus lizards. The wildlife was astounding.

We stayed at the Arenal Hot Springs which had a great view of the volcano, but the best part was getting to relax and enjoy soaking up the hot springs. As we made our way back to San Jose, we stopped in Zarcero to tour the oxcart factory and shop for souvenirs. We visited a beautiful Catholic church and wandered the grounds of the Whimsical Topiary garden. Our last stop before the hotel in San Jose included a tour of the National Theater, which was so beautiful with all its paintings, murals and intricate details in every unique room.

Costa Rica Garden

In all, this was a beautiful trip and I would highly recommend it to anyone who would like to visit Costa Rica. The hotel accommodations, the tours and stops on the itinerary were all designed with a good balance for down time as well as activities.

We truly had the best tour manager who was very personable and made sure every one of us was accounted for and having a great time. He was so knowledgeable about his country, the land, the animals, and the culture. I am extremely impressed with our coach driver's skills, too. He kept us safe as he maneuvered the huge vehicle through narrow roads and tight turns with ease. The members of our group all got along and truly enjoyed each other's company which made for an enjoyable journey each step of the way.

Thank you for such a memorable, great trip. I can definitely check this off my "bucket list."

costa rica trip on wheel of fortune

WHEEL of FORTUNE with Andy Nguyen

The one place for everything wheel, wof recap: january 26, 2024.

Some CBS stations including the one in my area have been pre-empted due to coverage of the Farmer’s Insurance Open. Thank goodness for the early feeds.

EPISODE #7915: 🏖️SAND & SEA🏖️

$1K Toss-Up: PLACE

L I F _ G U _ _ D T O _ E R

This Danny shockingly blanks on the last word.

L I F _ G U _ R D T O _ E R

Merari’s aware of a LIFEGUARD TOWER on the beach. Final players this week…

Merari Disla : OB/GYN sonographer married to Jon for 11 years w/ a six-year-old daughter Ellie from Bedford, TX

Danny Hauger : guitar player who’s been writing songs for 15 years (he’s been to the Abbey Road Studios in London and has recorded his music there) married to Jessica for 12 years w/ two daughters from Concord, CA

Carla Householder : a long-time retail worker who came out of retirement to be the newest cafeteria lady at the high school her children attended (she has four children and four grandchildren) from Sparta, NJ

BTW, Merari is the sister of JR who’s a user on my site’s Discord channel.

$2K Toss-Up: AROUND THE HOUSE

S T E R E _ S P E _ K E R S

Carla wasn’t aware at first that Pat called on her, and after the host said her name again, she solves STEREO SPEAKERS .

FEATURED S & S TRIP : Bolongo Bay Beach Resort in the U.S. Virgin Islands (CARIBBEAN; this should be $8,210)

Round 1: THINGS

Carla : two S’s for MDW , $700 T, four A’s and E, $1,800 L pair, last vowel of I, possibly fatal dud of P ($1,750 and MDW at risk)

Merari : $500 R, B trap (she fell for the B ALLS trap)

Danny : $1,600 C pair, $700 D, solve…

C A S C A D I _ _ _ A T E R _ A L L S

He solves CASCADING WATERFALLS for $2,300.

Mystery Round: BEFORE & AFTER

Merari : $1,100 S pair, three A’s and E, one R for CARIBBEAN, two I’s, SOLE CRITICAL PURCHASE of O ($8,810 cash & CARIBBEAN at risk; I was afraid of that)

Danny : $650 T, last vowel of U, $900 H, $1,700 K pair, $2K B quartet, solve…

S H A K E / I T / U _ B A B _ B A _ K / R I B S

He solves the fake Beatles lyric “SHAKE IT UP BABY BACK RIBS” for $5K.

Danny : $7,300/ Carla : $2K/ Merari : $1K

PP/Express Round: PHRASE

Danny : instant LaT

Carla : three T’s for $1,950 , four E’s, BANKRUPT near $650 (lost $1,700)

Merari : BANKRUPT near $3,500

Danny : $600 H, bad A buy

Carla : $500 S, three O’s (NMV), solve…

T O / T H E / _ E S T / O _ _ _ / _ _ O _ _ E _ _ E

Carla solves for just $250 TO THE BEST OF MY KNOWLEDGE , but she’s going on a trip to the El Mangroove Autograph Collection in COSTA RICA worth $8,500.

Danny : $7,300/ Carla : $10,750 cash & C.R./ Merari : $1K

We need to pick things up fast…

Triple Toss-Up: WAYD?

C _ A T T _ _ G / _ N _ H _ / P H O _ E

Carla has no time to be CHATTING ON THE PHONE , because she’s correct.

_ H _ _ _ _ N G O _ _ _ _ _

While we are CHATTING ONLINE about this episode, Carla scores again.

_ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ O / _ Y _ _ L F

The theme wasn’t gonna be “chatting”, and Danny totally blows it w/ CH A TT ING TO YOUR SELF  — no way, man. -__-

_ A _ _ _ _ _  T O / _ Y _ _ L F

Sometimes I can be T A LK ING TO MY SELF , and Carla has scored the bonus sweep!

Round 4: FUN & GAMES

After a $500 S to start, it’s SPEED-UP time…

S _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _

…and Carla makes the leftover consonants worth $1,700 a pop.

Carla : T (DUD) Merari : R (there goes my early guess of S HUFFLE BO ARD ) Danny : P Carla : L (DUD) Merari : N Danny : M (DUD) Carla : G Merari : I Danny : D (DUD) Carla : H (DUD) Merari : B

S _ R _ P B _ _ _ I N G

Merari can do some SCRAPBOOKING of her WHEEL journey after winning another $5,100.

FINAL SCORES Danny : $7,300/ Carla : $20,750 cash & C.R. / Merari : $6,100

GT : $34,150 Carla’s BANKRUPT TRASH : $1,700

Carla’s already made her choice from this generic list before Pat even announces them…

…it will be another PHRASE .

Fan Friday Word of the Day : BEACH (enter that on the website for your chance to win a trip to the Margaritaville Beach Resort in Hollywood Beach, FL)

$100K Bonus Round

Carla brought along daughters Marissa and Mariel, son Joseph, and grandson Anthony; she lands on the R. Here’s another one I know already…

_ / _ _ _ _ E _ / _ T T _ E / _ _ _ N _ E

CHMA is a PERFECT combo…

_ / _ _ M _ E _ / A T T H E / C H A N C E

I JUMPED AT THE CHANCE to see this lady also win $40K for a final total of $60,750 cash & trip.

Slow and steady and Carla prevail yet our first winning week in weeks! And it picked up after the first half where there are duds.

Thought we were headed for DISASTER until the Triple Toss-Up sweep and perfect combo.

Except for the few bumps in the end, this week went better than expected.

And it appears I’ve been barred from this site because I struggled to find an early feed on YT as well as previous episodes’ uploads, and then one uploaded right after I gave up looking. If that’s so, adios.

No, you’re not barred. Your comment somehow ended up in spam.

Carla’s Triple Toss-Up sweep and perfect letter combo to secure a winning BR week were the highlights in this otherwise shaky end-of-week episode.

My Rating: 6 ( D+ ) (too many duds)

Carla’s rally, BR win, and giddiness were the highlights of an otherwise OK Friday episode.

My rating: 6

Q? What? “Wheel Of Fortune” Unusual Letter Choice Misses Out On Costa Rica Trip

She said Q.

Q Costa Rica

Dollar exchange very far from reaching a point of equilibrium

The rains begin to do their thing in the emergency rooms, 480 deaths from respiratory viruses in four months, costa rica 6th wettest country on earth, learn to recognize a fake sinpe, what’s next for donald trump, rainy conditions will continue this friday, dollar exchange.

1 June 2024 - At The Banks - Source: BCCR

Yahoo! Entertainment – It is “Girlfriend Getaways” week on Wheel of Fortune. And during Thursday evening’s game fans were treated to a rare sight, one of the contestants guessed “Q.”

Best friends Marleta Robinson and Nancy Krol were looking forward to going on a trip together, compliments of the game show. And things looked pretty promising, right up until Robinson guessed one of the rarest letters ever picked on the show the letter Q.

Not only is it rare for a contestant to guess Q, in this case there wasn’t really anywhere for it to go. The clue was “Living Thing,” and the existing puzzle was “E _ _TIC – AND – C _ L _ R _ _ L – BIRDS.” Since almost all English common words with Q’s in them also require U’s, the only available spaces were “EQUTIC” and “C _ L _ RQUL.” Neither of which are words.

The correct answer was “EXOTIC AND COLORFUL BIRDS.” T he prize ended up being an US$11,772 trip to Costa Rica . To make matters worse, because they missed out on winning that round, they missed out on advancing to the bonus round.

The pair did go home with US$7,300, so it wasn’t a complete loss. Hopefully, neither of them visit Twitter either because the fans on there were blown away by “Q”uestionable letter choice.
