Northampton Podiatry and Associated are excited to announce our relocation to 14 Bush Hill, Northampton, NN3 2PE. Our contact information remains the same, and we’re committed to continuing our high standard of foot care at our new premises. For appointments or inquiries, reach out to us as usual.

At Northampton podiatry and associated , we understand that sometimes plans change and unexpected things come up . However, as a small business , last minute cancellations and alterations can greatly impact our schedule and income. To ensure that we can continue to provide a high quality service to our clients , we have a cancellation policy in place.

We kindly ask that you provide at least 48 hours notice preferably by text messaging if you need to cancel or alter your appointment . If notice is given less than 48 hours in advance , a fee of half the original consultation fee will be charged . We appreciate that this may cause you some disappointmnet and apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

We value your patronage and would like to assure you that this policy is in place to ensure providing the best service possible. We hope that you understand and appreciate our position and we look forward to seeing you at your next scheduled appointment .

Our clinic is based in Abington, Northampton where we provide a range of treatments for foot and ankle pain. We also offer a mobile podiatrist and chiropodist service across Northamptonshire.

David A. Edmonds, DPM

Dr. Edmonds is the owner and manager of Advanced Podiatry Associates, LLC, a practice well rooted in the Lehigh Valley for more than 80 years. Dr. Edmonds, through Advanced Podiatry Associates, provides superior quality podiatric foot care with the highest of standards, while striving to keep individual patient needs foremost. Born and raised in the Lehigh Valley, Dr. Edmonds graduated from the Southern Lehigh School District. He attended Moravian College and received his BS in Biology in 1985. He is a graduate of the Ohio College of Podiatric Medicine ( Kent State ) and completed his residency at the Veterans Administration Medical Center, East Orange, NJ. Dr. Edmonds became board certified in 1998.

A believer in taking the best from the past, Dr. Edmonds provides attentive, compassionate and personal patient care: while combining the best of today’s education and state-of-the-art technology, as his reputation attests. His specialties include geriatrics, biomechanics, sports medicine, diabetic foot care and primary foot care for all ages. In his free time Dr. Edmonds enjoys working in his garden, cycling, and family time.

We see our patients in homes, apartments, hotels, workplaces and senior resident/assisted living facilities at the comfort of their own residence and own time. Our patients no longer have to waste time coming to an appointment and waiting or having to inconvenience family or friends for help making an appointment and transporting them.

Seeing patients in the comfort of their own homes allows our doctors to have much more time to treat their patients without feeling rushed or overwhelmed like is seen in clinic. This allows for patients to get the best care and treatment for their conditions. By our doctors visiting at home, this also allows them to get a better feel for the social environment of their patients and how they can further gear their treatment and care to be the best for their patients.

For those who are genuinely housebound and  unable to come into clinic, we can provide routine Podiatry treatment in the comfort of your own home.  It is of vital importance that people feel comfortable and trusting of people who come into their home, and at FootPro Podiatry we understand and respect this.  Everything needed to provide the effective and thorough Podiatry treatment you need is brought to you.  A time slot is given to you the day before so you don’t have to wait around all day.

We also provide a service to nursing and care homes where there is multiple occupancy to provide quality Podiatry treatments for clients.  If you would like to discuss bringing in FootPro Podiatry to deliver this essential service,  please call or email us to discuss numbers of clients and package costs per patient.

The Abington Clinic offers a range of podiatry treatments to diagnose and treat minor disorders and abnormalities of the lower limb.  At our specialist podiatry clinic in Northampton, we give professional advice on the prevention of foot problems and on proper care of the foot, as well as alleviating pain and preventing or correcting deformity.

At The Abington Clinic, we review and treat every patient on an individual basis in order to help overcome and correct the problem areas quickly and effectively, so that we can restore you to optimal heath and help to prevent further mobility problems.

What we treat

As professional podiatrists we believe that poor foot function can often be the cause of other symptoms including lower back pain, hip, knee, ankle or foot pain. To help us understand more, we use gait analysis to determine if the way you walk or run is causing the problem and then treat you accordingly.

Our podiatrists are able to diagnose and treat a full range of conditions including:

Most of us spend quite a bit of time on our feet and when not looked after properly, feet can become subject to disorders and ailments, making walking and/or movement of the foot painful or uncomfortable. So keeping your feet in healthy working order through regular podiatry treatments can have huge benefits.

As part of any treatment, podiatrists also look at and give advice on the way your body is structured when pressure is on the foot and when no pressure is applied, this can then help to change your walking pattern to allow you to move freely,  alleviate any pain and prevent future damage to your feet.

As we deal with people and their injuries on an individual basis, no course of podiatry is ever the same. As a result, prices can vary depending upon the nature of your injury and the course of treatment or therapy that is followed.

Once we have had an opportunity to assess and review your case and before beginning any treatment, we will always advise you of the type of costs that you can expect. Only when you are 100% happy will we start to treat your disorder or foot function problem and then manage your successful recovery.

Britney Spears 'safe and at home' after fight at Los Angeles hotel

Britney Spears is “safe and at home” after paramedics responded early Thursday to a fight between the pop star and her boyfriend at a Los Angeles hotel, two sources close to Spears said.

Spears injured her foot and wasn’t treated by medical personnel who were summoned to the Chateau Marmont, the sources said, adding that Spears left with her own security and without her boyfriend.

On Instagram Thursday afternoon, Spears said she twisted her ankle and paramedics “showed up at my door illegally.”

They didn’t enter her room, she said, but she felt “completely harassed” and added that she was moving to Boston.

Representatives for Spears did not immediately respond to a request for comment on this specific incident.

A spokesman for the Los Angeles Fire Department did not identify Spears as the subject of a 911 call at the Chateau Marmont but confirmed paramedics were dispatched to the hotel Thursday morning after a report that an adult female had been injured.

The call was received at 12:42 a.m., according to the spokesman, Brian Humphrey.

Humphrey said it was unclear if paramedics encountered the person who had reportedly been injured or offered medical help.

No law enforcement was summoned to the address and paramedics left at 1:17 a.m., Humphrey said.

He said the LAFD has no immediate comment on the claims Spears made in her social media post.

The hotel incident comes after of the star's divorce from Sam Asghari was finalized. Spears and Asghari recently filed paperwork, indicating they had reached a divorce settlement.

Spears also recently reached a settlement with her father about her previous conservatorship.
