The Warmest Welcome

Liz made this experiance extra special! The house is beautiful, and a cosy place to get away to the peacefulness of Woodbridge. We were welcomed with an Easter platter that made it all that more personalised. We loved our stay here, situated right near the High Street. Perfect location, and beautiful view out the back. Booked lodge In Scotland through…

Booked lodge In Scotland through snaptrip and money was taken from account for deposit. But did not receive any confirmation. Contacted snaptrip and we’re just told to contact Skype cottages. Contacted Skype cottages with Reference number and property number provided by snaptrip which they could not identify. At this time a deposit has been paid but I do not have any confirmation and no help was provided by snaptrip to assist.

Was dissapointed but ended up very happy .I'd deffo come back

On arrival was directed to a room that had no heat .I went back to reception and the lovely lady checked heater and put me in another room .it was toastie warm .the shower was hot and nice and bed was comfy and clean I had all I needed for an overnight stay and reception lady brought me over a hairdryer and sorted out batteries in remote control and was happy and helpful through it all .really great little place to stay and affordable Also the Breakfast was brilliant .lovely bread choice of cereals and spreads .yogurt crumpets coffee tea and juice .couldn't of asked for more .absolutely delightful

Amazing stay at Bryn Celyn Cottage near Ruthin this weekend! A perfect place to relax and spend quality time with friends/family. The cottage is gorgeous, modern, so well equipped and the outdoor space-well, it’s out of this world! Hot tub, plunge pool, sauna, outdoor kitchen in beautifully landscaped gardens. The owners couldn’t have been more welcoming and accommodating, highly recommended. We will be back!

Wonderful place to escape to

Wonderful place to escape to. It was clean, had everything we needed and just the perfect accommodation. Unfortunately food poisoning from an Indian restaurant on the night we arrived meant we weren’t able to fully enjoy the area but it had an amazing view from the hen house and was nice and cosy. Definitely would visit again.

Don't book through Snaptrip.

Don't book through Snaptrip. This is a quote from their website; 'We help you to complete your booking whilst giving you discounts, member only prices and our best price guarantee.' This is not true. I booked through Snaptrip because they offered the lowest price. I was then directed to another company to complete the booking at a higher price. Snaptrip would not honour their advertised price and blamed the other company for increasing their booking fee and me for requesting a lower deposit, neither of which were true. I went through multiple emails and phone calls to both companies which really took the edge off the holiday vibe. Luckily for me, the other company waivered the difference and I have learnt not to use Snaptrip again.

Uber in Iran? Try Snapp

Online taxi services have made it easier than ever to get around in different cities around the world. Uber is probably something you are familiar with. Quite a popular company that operates internationally. Iran does not offer Uber services, however, for those who are interested in using online taxi services like Uber, Iran hosts its internet taxi, called Snapp, which anyone can use wherever they are in the country. Snapp is very easy to use, just like Uber. It supports English and It is possible to save considerable time and money when you take this internet taxi on your trip.

You Can Use Just One App All Over the Country

Snapp supports english, snapp finds the best route for you, do not worry about costs, snapp is safe, tips for using snapp, you need internet access to use the features, payment methods, you can make a pause, how to install snapp on android/ios, setting up instructions on iphone (ios), go to device management, the final step, steps of taking a snapp, other features of snapp.

Snapp guides the driver to the best route based on traffic reports and analysis of existing maps by estimating traffic and using GPS. You can also watch yourself on the route on the screen.

To use Snapp features, you need to be online. You need the Internet to download the application or use their website. Although you can access the app with the Internet of airports or hotels, it is better to buy an Iranian SIM card to use the Iranian Internet. If you wish to stop somewhere on your trip, you may split your trip into two or even make a short break in your way.

The easiest way to use Snapp is to install its app on your smartphone. Their iOS and Android apps are quite easy to use and are also offered in English that you can download from their official website. Android users can also download Snapp from Google Play. For iOS users, the process is a bit more complicated. Users in Iran cannot access some websites and applications that you can read more about on this link . In 2018, Apple decided to block almost all Iranian apps from the App Store. A workaround to this issue has been downloading the app from alternative sources. There is also the possibility of using Snapp’s web app at snapp , however, it’s only offered in Farsi at the moment. Below we will guide you through the required steps to install Snapp on your iPhone.

To start, you can visit this link . If you are using a VPN, you have to disconnect it and then click the black button to download the application. When the application has been downloaded, select “Open” and then click “Install”. Follow the second step.

Go to settings and select “General”. On the next screen, scroll down and select “Profile & Device Management”.

Click on the new title added to the list.

Once the window opens, tap Trust and click it again. We’ve made it! It is now time to use the application.

You just need to install the app and select the language between Farsi and English. Create an account to continue using the app. Your phone number allows you to log in quickly.

Enter your phone number and wait to receive your verification code.

Once you have completed registration, you will be able to locate and specify your pick-up location by going to the map. You must take the following steps:

Click on the green icon to confirm your location; search for your destination in the search bar above the page and confirm your destination. Throughout the application, the process will be explained in a pop-up window.

This is the step where you can see how the application calculates the fare and shows the taxis available. The bar below allows you to select the type of service you want. With all this information entering, the fare will be viewed and a Snapp can be requested. Your request will be accepted by a driver if the application finds rides in your area.

Snapp is used by many Iranians daily for their commutes to work and life and general city transportation. When traveling throughout Iran, it is a convenient and excellent option. The Project issues regular “snap polls” as international events unfold in order to provide policymakers and the public with real-time information on the views of international relations (IR) experts. TRIP Snap Polls of IR scholars survey all individuals employed at a U.S. university in a political science department or policy school who teach or conduct research on issues that cross international borders.

We are pleased to share the results of the 18th Teaching, Research and International Policy (TRIP) Snap Poll, fielded with the support of the Carnegie Corporation of New York. Our polls provide real-time data in the wake of significant policy proposals, during international crises, and on emerging foreign policy debates. In this survey, we cover a range of current global affairs topics, including the recent domestic unrest in Russia, immigration to the United States, and President Biden’s foreign policy performance.

Alvarez hits 2 homers and Astros snap a 5-game losing streak with a 12-4 win over Rockies in Mexico

MEXICO CITY (AP) Before the first of two games in Mexico City, Houston Astros manager Joe Espada said he hoped that the trip could help them solve their offensive struggles.

Yordan Alvarez hit two home runs, Kyle Tucker added a solo shot and the Houston Astros beat the Colorado Rockies 12-4 on Saturday night in the MLB World Tour: Mexico City Series to snap a five-game losing streak.

Alvarez hit a two-run homer to center field and Tucker followed with a shot to left field and the Astros took a 4-2 lead in the third. Alvarez hit his seventh home run of the season in the ninth inning.

“Today we were able to bat with runners in scoring positions, that's a good sign for the team," Espada said. "We took strong turns and we were able to spread the ball on the field, that really helped us today."

Alvarez went 3 for 5 with three RBIs and two runs scored and Yainer Diaz had three hits and scored three runs.

“When we saw the introductions, we knew that it was a moment to think that the season was just beginning for us,” Alvarez said. “We knew that we were struggling, but we trust in the team’s talent.”

Ronel Blanco (3-0) allowed two hits and five runs in 5 2/3 innings. He struck out eight and walked two.

The Rockies' Cal Quantrill (0-3) allowed six hits and six earned runs in five innings.

"We have not played to our standards, but hopefully we get there,” said Rockies manager Bud Black. “For me, all was positive (from the game in Mexico) except for the outcome.”

Houston arrived in Mexico City after scoring just six runs in a three-game sweep at the hands of the Chicago Cubs, but the team took advantage of the 7,349-foot (2,240-meter) elevation of the Alfredo Harp Helú stadium to break the offensive slump with 15 hits against the Rockies.

The Astros also benefited from the support of the crowd, most of them wearing the team's colors even though the Rockies were the home team.

“We did not feel like the visiting team, we felt at home. There was a tremendous passion and energy in the stadium, and it really felt like home,” Espada said.

The Rockies took the lead on Ryan McMahon's two-run homer to center field in the first.

The Astros pulled ahead for good after Alvarez and Tucker hit their homers in the third.

The series marks the Astros' second regular-season visit to Mexico. In May 2019, they swept the Angels in two games played in Monterrey. The Astros also played exhibition games in Mexico against the Padres in 2016 and Marlins in 2004.

The Rockies, who came south of the border after beating the Padres 10-9 at Coors Field, have yet to win consecutive games this season, the longest such stretch to begin a season in franchise history.

Colorado played their second regular-season game in Mexico. In 1999, they beat San Diego in their season opener, also at Monterrey.

URQUIDY MISSES THE CHANCE

José Urquidy played with the Astros in a exhibition game against the San Diego Padres in Mexico City in 2016, but a right arm injury left him out of the series against the Colorado Rockies.

“Back then (2016) I was a kid just dreaming of playing in the majors. It was a long process for me to become a starter in the MLB, but I made it,” said Urquidy, who despite not being able to play was joined by family and friends.

The right-hander, who was born in Mazatlan, invited some of his closest friends, some of whom lack visas to enter the United States and have never seen a major league game.

“Even though I’m not playing, I’m happy for them to be able to watch a major league game live. We had a day off (Friday) and they get to know some of my teammates. I’m happy for them,” Urquidy said.

The 28-year-old Urquidy said that he threw a bullpen session in Mexico City and feels close to a return to the rotation.

Astros LHP Framber Valdez (0-0, 2.19 ERA) is scheduled to start Sunday night against Rockies LHP Austin Gomber (0-1, 4.32) in the second game in Mexico City.
