Harry Styles Announces 2022 North American Tour Dates

Harry Styles has announced his 2022 North American tour dates in support of the new album Harry’s House . He’ll be performing at just five venues: Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, New York’s Madison Square Garden, Austin’s Moody Center, Chicago’s United Center, and Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. Support at the Toronto shows will come from Madi Diaz; Blood Orange will open for Styles at Madison Square Garden; and Jessie Ware is the opener for the Chicago concerts. At the 2021 Grammy Awards , Styles played “ Watermelon Sugar ” with a band that included Blood Orange’s Devonté Hynes. Hynes also musically directed the performance.

This spring and summer, Styles is performing in the United Kingdom and Europe . Support on the UK and European legs of the tour include Mitski, Arlo Parks, and Wolf Alice.

Harry’s House is out May 20. The lead single is “ As It Was .”

Harry Styles announced the dates for the 2022 European and South American legs of his “Love on Tour” on Wednesday (Jan. 19). The outing that will feature opening sets from Arlo Parks (Dublin), Koffee (Latin America), Mitski (UK dates) and Wolf Alice (select European shows) on select dates is slated to kick off on June 11 with a show at Ibrox Stadium in Glasgow and run through a Dec. 10 gig at Pedreira Paulo Leminski in Curitiba, Brazil.

The 32-city tour comprised of dates rescheduled due to the pandemic and three new UK gigs includes the singer’s first-ever stadium shows at Ibrox in Glasgow, Emirates Old Trafford in Manchester, UK and London’s famed Wembley Stadium. All existing tickets for rescheduled shows will remain valid for the new dates; tickets for the new shows go on general sale at 9 a.m. on Jan. 28. According to a release announcing the dates, the tour will follow all local and public health guidelines as well as venue protocols at the time of each gig.

Harry Styles announces Love on Tour 2022 dates including 10 nights in NYC – how to get tickets

Two weeks before Harry Styles releases his new album, the pop star has announced a North American headline tour for later this year.

The former One Direction singer will turn venues across the States into his de facto house as he plays several nights in major US cities.

After his third album Harry’s House is released on 20 May, the flamboyant showman will head to the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada to start his Love on Tour on 15 August and 16 August.

He’ll then head to New York to perform 10 nights at Madison Square Garden between 28 August and 21 September.

Other cities included in the 32-night schedule include Austin for five nights at Moody Center, and Chicago for five nights at United Center, before wrapping up at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum for 10 night run concluding on Tuesday 15 November.

The gigs are expected to sell out fast as Harry performed over 40 shows throughout the US at the end of 2021, winning praise from fans and critics alike. His shows are packed with his global hit singles including Sign of the Times, Lights Up, Adore You, Watermelon Sugar and Kiwi.

How much are Harry Styles tickets?

Ticketmaster is the official ticketing platform for the Love on Tour this year. Register now on Ticketmaster to ensure you get the cheapest tickets through the Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan platform.

Fans can register now through to 19 May and you’ll receive a code that enables you to purchase tickets on 25 May before the general public.

American Express Card Members can get them one day earlier by registering for American Express® Early Access powered by Ticketmaster Verified Fan between now and 19 May. Verified Card Members who are selected for the presale, can purchase tickets starting 24 May.

Harry will be supported by a number of artists during his tour.

As the UK dates were announced in January, UK tickets are hard to get hold of but there are some available with hospitality packages on Ticketmaster if you want to splash out.

Ticketmaster also has some resale options for the dates in Dublin, Glasgow and Manchester’s Emirates stadium.

Harry Styles has announced a North American tour behind his upcoming third studio album Harry's House . "Love On Tour 2022" will span 32 nights in a handful of cities: Toronto, New York, Austin, Chicago, and Los Angeles will get shows, with a massive 10 gigs planned for Madison Square Garden. Registration for Ticketmaster's Verified Fan Presale is open now . Tickets go on sale to the general public here on Thursday, May 26 at 12 p.m. local time.

Styles has recruited a number of killer opening acts for the shows: Madi Diaz (performing in Toronto), Blood Orange (New York City), Gabriels (Austin), Jessie Ware (Chicago), and Ben Harper (Los Angeles). A press release promises that each of venues on the tour will be "turned into Harry's House" for the gigs, so you can probably expect a fair bit of pageantry.

Harry's House is out on May 20. The same day, Styles will perform a show at Madison Square Garden with tickets costing just $25 . "As It Was," the album's lead single, debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.

He starts with a pair of shows in Toronto before playing ten nights at Madison Square Garden in New York City; five nights in Austin, Texas; five nights in Chicago; and ten nights at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum. Those stints will feature support from, respectively, Madi Diaz , Blood Orange, Gabriels, Jessie Ware , and Ben Harper.

Harry Styles announces rescheduled 2022 world tour dates

The tour - which includes a handful of UK and Ireland dates - will see support from Arlo Parks, Mitski, Wolf Alice and Koffee

Harry Styles has announced the rescheduled tour dates for his previously postponed world tour, which includes a new run of shows in the UK.

The singer’s tour was originally scheduled to take place back in April 2020 , before being postponed to February and March 2021  due to the coronavirus pandemic. However,  he was forced to postpone the dates indefinitely in December 2020.

Today (January 19), Styles has unveiled a massive 32-city tour that includes both rescheduled shows and a string of brand new stadium dates set to take place in the UK in June.

“I’m so happy to announce that ‘Love On Tour 2022’ is finally coming to the UK, Europe and South America,” Styles wrote on Instagram . “I’m so excited to see you. Thank you, I love you. H.”

The ‘Love On Tour’ shows start on June 11 at Glasgow’s Ibrox Stadium. They’ll then continue through the UK and Ireland, taking in Manchester, London and Dublin, before crossing over to Europe and running throughout July. The world tour will conclude in November in Latin America.

Special guests include Mitski on the UK dates, Arlo Parks in Dublin, Wolf Alice on select European dates and Koffee across all Latin American dates.

Harry Styles' North American Tour Just Got Even Bigger

Harry Styles remains booked, busy, and back in North America. On Tuesday, May 24, the star added five more dates in New York City as part of his Love On Tour concert series, meaning he’ll now be performing at Madison Square Garden for a total of 15 (!!) shows.

Styles kicked off the North American leg of his Love On Tour concert series back in September 2021 and then finished his performances that November. On May 5, he announced he’ll be returning to North America this summer. However, unlike the last leg, which included stops in various cities throughout the United States, this time, Styles will be performing in fewer cities for several nights in a row. Those stops include concerts in Toronto, New York, Austin, Chicago, and Inglewood.

Styles was previously scheduled to perform at MSG for 10 nights throughout August and September, but his latest dates have now bumped that number to 15 shows. Those who are Verified American Express® Card Members can join the presale for the new NYC concerts on Tuesday, May 24, at 5 p.m. ET. Meanwhile, everyone else can purchase tickets during the general sale on Thursday, May 26, at 4 p.m. ET.

Styles’ announcement comes as a surprise since the performer has already had a busy year and has so much more planned for the rest of 2022. After performing two headlining shows at Coachella and then covering Better Homes & Gardens magazine in April, Styles unveiled his third studio album, Harry’s House , on May 20. That same night, he performed a special “One Night Only” show in Long Island to celebrate the release of his album.

After performing another “One Night” only gig in London on May 24, Styles will tour throughout Europe from June 11 to July 31. He’ll then return to North America on Aug. 15 and will perform all over Canada and the U.S. until Nov. 15. This fall, Styles’ new movie, Don’t Worry Darling , will also premiere.

Harry Styles Announces Ten Additional Shows for LOVE ON TOUR 2022, Sells Out All 42 Shows

The sold out tour includes the five additional dates added for New York and Los Angeles.

Today, international superstar Harry Styles has announced that he has sold out all 42 dates of his massive Love On Tour 2022 in support of his new album Harry's House . This includes the additional 5 New York and 5 Los Angeles dates that were just announced this week. Coming off two special One Night Only shows in New York and London, the highly anticipated 2022 tour will allow fans to have access to multiple nights in each major city turning iconic venues into Harry's House for the run of shows.

In the wake of recent mass shootings across the US, including the horrific events that took place in Uvalde, Texas this week, Styles will be donating proceeds from the tour, with Live Nation matching, equaling over $1 Million to Everytown for Gun Safety Support Fund - the education, research, and litigation arm of Everytown for Gun Safety, the largest gun violence prevention organization in the country.

"Along with all of you, I have been absolutely devastated by the recent string of mass shootings in America, culminating at Robb Elementary School in Texas," said Harry Styles. "On our North American tour, we will be partnering with Everytown who work to end gun violence, donating to support their efforts, and sharing their suggested action items."

Produced by Live Nation, the tour now includes 42 nights at many of North America's most notable venues, kicking off on Monday, August 15th and Tuesday, August 16th at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON. Styles will continue his residencies in New York City for fifteen nights at Madison Square Garden, Austin for five nights at Moody Center, and Chicago for five nights at United Center, before wrapping up at Los Angeles' Kia Forum for fifteen-night run concluding on Tuesday, November 15th.

Harry Styles Announces 2022 Fall Residency Tour Dates

English pop star and  One Direction member  Harry Styles has confirmed 2022 tour dates with multi-night residencies at some of the largest and most iconic arenas in North America, including ten nights at  Madison Square Garden .

Touring in support of his new album,  Harry’s House , due out May 20th, Styles will continue his ongoing  Love On   Tour with residencies in New York, Los Angeles, Toronto, and Austin. Following a host of dates in Europe, the singer and former X Factor  contestant will play two nights at Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Canada on August 15th and 16th with  Madi Diaz as support.

He will then kick off an impressive ten-night residency at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York on August 28th with  Blood Orange , followed by a five-night run at  Moody Center in Austin, TX with  Gabriels September 25th–October 2nd (with a couple well earned days off between shows).

The penultimate stop will include five shows at United Center in Chicago featuring Jessie Ware as support before the trek wraps up in Los Angeles with ten nights at  Kia Forum starting on Halloween.  Ben Harper will serve as opener for the L.A. shows, which will conclude on November 15th, after which Styles will head out of the country for more international dates.

Harry Styles recently headlined  Coachella , where he was joined by  Shania Twain for renditions of “Man! I Feel Like a Woman” and “You’re Still the One” and also by Lizzo , with whom he performed a cover of  Gloria Gaynor ’s “I Will Survive” and One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful”.

Yep! Harry has teamed up with REVERB to reduce Love on Tour's environmental footprint. The singer and his crew will get reusable water bottles and insulated mugs to aid in waste reduction efforts. Harry's team and REVERB will provide reusable or compostable service ware in catering areas and buses. Water refill stations will be present throughout the backstage and catering areas and on tour buses.

Harry will also be tackling waste diversion by recycling and toiletry donations. The tour will work toward carbon elimination by calculating the tour's carbon emissions from travel and transportation, hotel stays, venue energy usage, and funding global projects that directly eliminate an equivalent amount of greenhouse gas pollution. Additionally, staff will use green products to clean backstage, offices, catering, and tour buses.

Harry Styles has announced a series of multi-date residencies in cities across the North America.

Under the banner of the “Love On Tour,” the 32-date includes 10 nights each at New York’s Madison Square in August/September and at Los Angeles’ Kia Forum in October/November. Harry Styles fans sign up to guided tours of singer’s hometown – including exact spot where he had first kiss

Harry Styles fans can now sign up for guided tours around the Cheshire village where he grew up, including the site where he had his first kiss and the bakery he once worked at after school.

When the pop singer, 30, first shot to fame with One Direction after competing on reality TV show The X Factor , he described his home town as “quite boring”, albeit “picturesque”.

But in the years since, as he achieved further fame as a solo artist with hits such as “Watermelon Sugar” and “As It Was”, the village has grown accustomed to visits from devoted “Harries” (Harry Styles fans).

The not-for-profit Holmes Chapel Partnership has recruited a group of superfans to lead the tours , which will take place through summer.

Organisers hope the tours will improve safety in the area and avoid the small parish from becoming overwhelmed by foot traffic.

The Holmes Chapel Partnership said that more than 5,000 fans visited the village 2023, close to the population of 6,700.

Tickets for the first round of tours, which cost £20 per head, go on sale today (Thursday 30 May).

One of the main attractions is Mandeville’s bakery, where Styles worked as a teenager after school and on Saturdays. A life-sized cut out of the singer in his uniform is on display for fans who wish to take selfies.

Bakery owner Simon Wakefield told the BBC that he was a “really nice lad, so easy and down-to-earth”.

When Styles won an audition for The X Factor, he apparently asked Wakefield if he could take a shift off: “I said, ‘Yeah no problem, go for it’,” Wakefield said.

“And it just erupted from there. It just goes to show it can happen to anyone, at any time.”

Another hotspot is the 180-year-old Twemlow Viaduct, where Styles had his first kiss and where he wrote his name while filming the 2013 One Direction documentary, This is Us.

Fans wishing to leave their own messages are encouraged to write on slate hearts, which they can buy from a local retailer.

Peter Whiers, chairman of the Holmes Chapel Partnership, said the organisation loved the “enthusiasm people have for Harry” when first announcing plans for the tours.

However, he said it was important to balance fan excitement and curiosity with the reality of a “historic village that dates from the 1400s”.

“So this year we are taking a new route to keeping visitors safe by hosting guided tours to popular Harry locations,” he said.

The tour guides will work in pairs and trained to lead Styles fans in groups of up to 16 people through the walking map. They will run on Saturday mornings from 8 June and on weekdays between July to September.

Bizarre Harry Styles village tour includes his first kiss as tickets go on sale

Inquisitive fans of Harry Styles can now see the sights of his hometown, Holmes Chapel in Cheshire — for a small fee of course.

While the As It Was icon has moved out and now spends most of his time in London , dedicated ‘Harries’ are still flocking to the village.

So much so that locals have decided to create an official Harry Styles walking tour , in hopes of improving safety in the area.

Eager fans have been trampling through the town, which is home to around 6,700 residents, in an effort to connect with their idol.

Last year some 5,000 Harries are estimated to have visited, creating issues for locals and questions of safety which prompted The Holmes Chapel Partnership to create the tour.

For £20 per head, you can step inside Mandeville’s bakery, where Harry, 30, worked part-time before his rise to fame on the X Factor as one-fifth of One Direction.

Encouraging the hype, owners of the bakery have placed a cardboard cut out of the then-teenage star in his uniform ready for fans to take a selfie.

Not devoid of romance, the tour also includes a glimpse of Twemlow Viaduct where the Watermelon Sugar hitmaker had his first kiss.

Sadly for fans, the famed Chinese restaurant, Fortune City, where he took fellow megastar Taylor Swift on a date is too far away to include.

However, the viaduct does have ‘Harry’s Wall’ where the singer wrote his name during the This Is Us documentary, which has now been covered with fans’ messages to the star.

Ironically, when he first auditioned for the beloved singing competition Harry declared the town was ‘quite boring’ and added: ‘Nothing much happens there.’

He conceded that Holmes Chapel was ‘picturesque’ but given he rarely, if ever, returns fans are unlikely to bump into him in Mandeville’s.

While to non-Harries the tours seem a little indulgent, the locals insist it had become a matter of safety as fans crossed dangerous roads to get to the viaduct.

The two-and-a-half-hour tour will use traffic-free routes as they visit landmarks of Harry’s youth.

When initially announced, Peter Whiers, the chairman of the Holmes Chapel Partnership, said they loved the ‘enthusiasm people have for Harry’.

However, he acknowledged that there was a balancing act between fans and the reality of a ‘historic village that dates from the 1400s’.

‘So this year we are taking a new route to keeping visitors safe by hosting guided tours to popular Harry locations,’ Peter said.

For anyone hoping to see the Styles sights, the tours will run on Saturday mornings from June 8 and on weekdays from July to September.

Anitta Reborn: The Brazilian Superstar on ‘Funk Generation,’ Her First U.S. Tour and the Mysterious Illness that Reset Her Career

For most of her life, Anitta didn’t think much about her death.

Despite growing up in the notorious favelas of Rio de Janeiro, the Brazilian multi-hyphenate just knew that her life would be as glamorous as she always imagined: she would sing, dance and act her way to global stardom. Gradually, that vision has been coming to life.

Then, Anitta was hit with a mysterious illness that racked her with chronic, full-body pain and fevers that at times rendered her unable to walk. She was tested for cancer and autoimmune diseases but still doesn’t have a solid diagnosis for what she was experiencing. In her search for relief, Anitta took a month off and retreated into the Yoruba faith she’d learned as a child from her father, taking trips to several countries to connect with ancient healing traditions, from kundalini yoga to meditation. A few hours after this interview took place, she flew to Greenland to spend a week alone, visiting shamans and hiking through “spiritual portals” — parts of the earth that are said to be sensitive to energy.

To advance that new approach, Anitta felt she needed a new team. In the aftermath of the underwhelming response to “Versions of Me,” she cleaned house, parting ways with her longtime manager, Brandon Silverstein, and Warner Music, the label she’d been with for her entire professional career.

At the time, she didn’t tell the world that she was on the verge of dropping out of the music industry. But she’s brutally honest about it now, explaining that her efforts to be palatable internationally were neutering the boldfaced individuality that made her a star in the first place.

“I didn’t feel happy,” she says. “I didn’t have the energy anymore. I was looking at the sales numbers too much, reading what the internet and critics had to say. And after having thought so much about what life could look like if I quit, or if I died … my priorities shifted.”

However, she was contractually obligated to deliver at least two more albums to Warner. So Anitta effectively launched a social-media campaign against her label, claiming its executives never believed “Envolver” — a rare RIAA Latin Diamond-certified single — would be successful without the aid of a co-billed artist, and that her team at Warner’s Latina division wasn’t doing enough to promote her music. “If there was a fine to pay, I would have already auctioned off my organs, no matter how expensive it was to get out,” she wrote on X. “But unfortunately, there isn’t.”

Ultimately, there was, in the form of a reported multimillion-dollar settlement with Warner — $6 million, some sources say (representatives for Anitta and Warner declined to comment on the deal) — as well as a reasonably amicable separation from Silverstein, who, shortly after their parting, was seen speaking abusively to someone over speakerphone in a widely circulated video. Anitta and reps for Silverstein declined to comment on the video, but she says carefully, “[Brandon] did what he needed to do, and what I wanted to do at the time, but my focus changed. He was always very respectful and understanding with me.”

Then, just a month after leaving Warner, she announced a new deal — with Universal Music’s Republic label — and shortly after that, a new manager: Miami-born Rebeca León, who’d helped steer Rosalía, J Balvin and Juanes to superstardom.

From there, Anitta quickly released new music — a three-song bundle titled “ Funk Generation : a Favela Love Story,” which was expanded into a full album under the same title that dropped on April 26. But instead of leaning uncomfortably into popular Western styles, she went back to the youthful baile funk sound of the favelas — a vibrantly danceable combination of samba, Miami bass, hip-hop and syncopated African beats.

Experiment, Anitta does: “Funk Generation” has lyrics in Spanish, English and Portuguese over sweltering rhythms of favela funk. She’s the first to acknowledge that it will be a challenge for some of her more pop-leaning fans, not to mention new ones.

“For a long time, the numbers have decided whether I won or failed, and that will push you to do something unoriginal,” she says. “I want to be very clear: That doesn’t mean I don’t love my old songs. With ‘Versions of Me,’ I was trying a little bit of everything to try to solidify myself in the mainstream, but I don’t care what the fuck is gonna happen with this next album. I love the adrenaline of not knowing whether people are going to like it.”

“That is the true definition of fearlessness,” León says, “when you only want to do what you do because you fucking love it.”

When Anitta first reached out, León had recently transitioned out of managing Rosalía to focus on growing her production company, Lionfish Studios. After working as a co-producer on a 2022 remake of “Father of the Bride,” León and Lionfish Studios are developing several female-driven projects said to have heavy music components that showcase the nuances and intricacies of Latin culture.

“I was on my pseudo break, and [Anitta] asked me to essentially assess her career with her,” León recalls. From that meeting, she found the singer’s resilience inspiring and the opportunities for her career virtually limitless. But she, too, found that in the process of chasing that crossover dream, Anitta had not been making the music she wanted to make.

“She’s gotten here. Now she’s fighting to do what she’s always wanted to do: bring [baile] funk, a marginalized genre, to the big stage,” León says.

And although the genre is lyrically hyper-sexualized, Anitta says her take on it is “all about the sound.” “Brazilian funk is very, very sexual and very explicit, but those lyrics don’t reflect what I’m living personally now,” she says.

“It’s more an exploration of my love for the beats, the parties, and how it all makes me feel,” says Anitta. “A lot of the producers on this album are people who came from the ghetto, the slums, the favelas. They live and breathe Brazilian funk — the kind of funk that has crazy lyrics, that nasty shit.”

Where 2022’s “Versions of Me” leaned into American pop production, “Funk Generation” was a crate-digging process for Brazilian producers like Gabriel do Borel and the duo Tropkillaz, who reference contemporary sub-genres of funk, altering its brass sections with sped-up tempos and repetitive electronic patterns. 

Despite her distancing comments, “Funk Generation” is seriously X-rated, both lyrically and musically. On the song “Savage Funk,” Anitta repeats the word “fuck” 58 times, phrasing her vocals so that they sound like a bassline.

Not that any of this is out of character: Anitta’s sexuality has always been a focal point of her public image. She’s often described herself as two people: Larissa de Macedo Machado, the person she grew up as, and Anitta. All superstars struggle with where the self ends and the star begins, but for her, it seems to be about self-preservation. “I can see myself leaving the name ‘Anitta’ behind,” she muses about the persona that embraces her “most animalistic desires,” “but I’ll never just be Larissa. I am very protective of her. It helps people to understand that there is the artist, and then there is the human who just wants to go home and hide.

“I use my sexuality as a freedom message,” Anitta concludes. “It’s not like I’m telling everyone to flash their pussies. But we have a right to express ourselves without feeling ashamed.”

Despite all of the self-empowering words, on May 18, Anitta will embark on a project that, in the past, she didn’t really want to do: her first global tour, a 20-plus-date trek in intimate venues dubbed the “Baile Funk Experience” in North America, South America and Europe.

“Touring is tiring,” she says, “and I don’t like going for extended periods without seeing my family. But I’m so engaged with this project that I want to do it. And I want to still keep it small; I want to be able to look people in the eyes. It’s not going to be enough for you to just stand there and watch. The person who goes to this concert will feel an urgency to be a part of it.”

As for what comes next, Anitta is pursuing acting gigs following her role in the Netflix drama series “Elite.” She plans to work her way up, as she always has. Of course, the future holds little mystery for her. “I know what’s going to happen next,” she says, cracking a mischievous smile. “I’m going to keep making very surprising turns — you’ll be left like, ‘Who is this person?’”
