I enjoyed the 7 day Vietnam tour, glad I spent an extra day in Hanoi on my own, as Hanoi city tour was not included. Tin Tin was an amazing guide in Ho Chi Minh City. I especially like the fact that with the local agencies we seem to pick up different people on different tour schedules each day. It makes it really fun to meet new people every day. One day I was alone on my mountain retreat overnight stay and was able to practice Vietnamese and listen to fun music with the driver during our 2 hour trip back to Hanoi. Like a private tour!! A few small glitches, but overall I consider TourRadar an amazing budget travel company. I just signed up for my 3rd tour with them to Japan.

The tour itself was excellent, however I am giving a 4 star rating because the tour agency would not issue a refund for the other person that was supposed to go who was not able to get the visa in time, and there was no refund for the first day missed or an option to change to alternate dates.

7 Days Discovery Central of Vietnam

The whole trip was great and very well organized from picking up at the airport until dropping off at the airport for departure. I was the only one on the tour but on the My Son trip there were two couples joining in. I spent the whole week with the same guide (Ricky) and driver, and I could not have been happier with them. Ricky was very knowledgeable and also very helpful, e.g. helping with hotel check-ins where they did not speak (good) English. The whole trip went very smoothly and according to the itinerary, with guide and driver picking me up every morning on time. In this one week I could visit many amazing places. My favourite ones were the impressive Paradise Cave and the ancient town (car free) of Hoi An. At lunch I was taken to restaurants with local delicious food (included in the tour) and for my free time Ricky pointed out some regions that I should explore (sightseeing and food). Da Nang was probably the least exciting part (but still not boring!), one night there would actually be enough.

The website has recommended trips. I emailed our own wishes and they customized a trip for us. We had a private tour for the two of us at a much more reasonable price than options we were given by other companies. Our guide Teo was excellent. He was an experienced cyclist and trained tour guide with very good English

Express Crossing Vietnam - 7 Days

I took this tour in November. Overall it was okay. Last minute changes to tour and i was on private city tour on Ho Chinh Minh which means tour finishes early. Flight booked from saigon was 8pm and tour guide drop me at 3pm. So have to wait long at airport with no many facilities. Reached Hanoi at midnight(all food shops get closed) as flight was delayed too by 1 hour. Went to hotel and slept straight away. Halong Bay was good and cruise was fantastic. Drop back at airport on time. Overall it was average. For next time if i choose then i will try to be part of making my itinerary too as they make for us. Tony incharge at legend travel was very helpful and tourist friendly. Will come back to visit sapa.

Jewels of Hanoi, Sapa and Halong Bay - 7 Days

Danny looked after my mum and I during this wonderful trip. He was attentive to our needs and was very organised. The hotel in Hanoi was clean and comfortable as were the other hotels. Our highlight was the Ha Long Bay boat stay, the boat was beautiful and the overnight stay was a wonderful experience. Thanks to Danny and the team!

7-Day Tour of Northern Vietnam

March 16 - March 21, 2024. Danny was great at coordinating my tour. I had flight delays and Danny was able to work through them. One of them was to ensure I could enter and register at the intended hotel as my flight was delayed and arrived close to midnight. Pickup at airports were easy to identify, using a placard with my name. Tour of My Tho, (Me Toe), was great. Guide, Tinh, was great, spoke english very well. This was on the Ho Vhi Min City part of the tour. Airport drop off for flight to Hanoi was easy. Ma Long Bay cruise was also great. Boat accomodations were great, food was excellent and tours, esp the caves, guided by Bing, was fun. Staff aboard ship were eager to please and enjoyed chatting with me. Tuan, a waiter, seemed to be watching over me to make sure I had all I needed. Ba Khan resort was next and the room was excellent, great views and fun cultural show that evening was awesome. the following day, I was invited to have lunch with a Vietnamese family and was thoroughly impressed. Vietnamese people are very firendly. Legend Travel and Vietnam were great. I may go back to see some of the other sights and will will use Legend Travel Group if I do.

Touring Vietnam with LVPTRAVEL ticked many boxes. The cycling, hiking and kayaking was pitched right given the climate. Energetic, resourceful, fun Guide. Vietnamese are some of the nicest we've met around the world and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this 7-9 Day Tour on package

Itinerary (Day Wise)

Hanoi (2 nights).

Arrive at Noi Bai International Airport, and proceed by your transfer to hotel. Hanoi or “River-bound City” as its name literally means is Vietnam’s capital with a thousand-year-old history dating back to 1010. The city’s fascinating beauty which is characterized by unique cultural relics, ancient streets of antique houses, elegant French colonial buildings, tree-lined boulevards and romantic lakes has made it one of the most charming cities of Asia. Overnight at Hanoi.

Note: Rates are not applicable during festivals events Christmas and New Year Eve. Prices are subject to change during Chinese New Year period.

Hanoi – Full Day city tour

After breakfast, visit Ho Chi Minh Complex which features the life of Ho Chi Minh, the nation’s founder. At the complex, visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum where the nation’s founder’s body is preserved (closed on Monday, Friday and through October - November), the colonial Presidential Palace, the One Pillar Pagoda. Continue to the Temple of Literature, known as the first university of Vietnam built in 1070 by the Ly Dynasty to honour Confucius, sages and outstanding Vietnamese scholars. Later in Afternoon, proceed to one of the following museums of choice namely: The Museum of Fine Arts, the National Museum of Vietnamese History, the Museum of Revolution, the Museum of Military History or the Museum of Ethnology. Late afternoon, visit Hoan Kiem Lake and Ngoc Son Temple located on an islet in the lake. Hoan Kiem Lake is the center point of Hanoi and home to a rare endangered giant turtle species. Its name “Returned Sword” comes from a legend of a sacred sword being lent to an ancient Vietnamese King by a holy turtle from the lake and later returned to the turtle. Shop or walk at leisure in the Old Quarter of 36 ancient streets. Overnight at Hanoi.

Hanoi - Halong (1 Night)

After breakfast at the hotel, proceed to Ha Long Bay, which is about 160 km or 3.5-hour drive away. On the way, you will see some rural areas of the Red River Delta with plenty of chances to take photos of Vietnamese farmers working in paddy fields. Stop half way to visit a handicraft workshop of fine clothes and embroidered paintings. Arrive at the jetty in Ha Long City towards noon and proceed with check-in formalities. Be welcomed onboard and have lunch will be served while cruising towards the bay itself. In the afternoon, enjoy some visits and/or activities (depending on each boat’s itinerary) or just spend some time relaxing on board. Towards the end of the day the boat sets anchor for the night among the karst formations. Dinner is served on board. Overnight on cruise in Ha Long Bay.

After breakfast, take a half-day tour to the Cu Chi Tunnels, 75 km Northwest of downtown Ho Chi Minh City, which were once a major underground hideout and resistance base of Viet Cong forces during the two wars against the French and later on Americans. The tunnels, entirely hand-dug, formed a highly intricate network of interlinked multilevel passageways at times stretched as far as the Cambodian border and totaling over 120 km in length. Later return to Ho Chi Minh City and take a half-day city tour to visit the War Remnants Museum, which features an extensive collection of exhibits including weaponry, photos and documentation on Vietnam’s wars with the French and Americans. After breakfast, proceed to Mekong Delta. Travel past miles of flat rice fields, along a bustling road to the Mekong Delta, the world’s largest delta and Vietnam's largest rice bowl. On arrival in My Tho City, board a motorboat and navigate through intricate canals while observing the local daily life up close as well as the landscape of waterways and lush islands. Land on Thoi Son Island where you can listen to Southern traditional music performed by native artists. • Air tickets issued on special fares are NON REFUNDABLE and Guest shall bear cancellation charges.

40KM from Noi Bai Airport

The central area of Hanoi is where visitors will usually spend most of their time while here – it is around 40KM from Noi Bai airport. This is Vietnam’s ancient capital city – famed for its fantastic culture and exquisite street food. There are many fascinating museums and historic sites showcasing Vietnamese people and cultures that are simply a must-see the first time you are here, some of which include:

180KM from Hanoi

You can spend either 1 or 2 days cruising in the World Famous Halong Bay – which is 180KM east of Hanoi in the Gulf of Tonkin.

There is a 1 day tour which departs Hanoi in the morning around 8am and it takes 3hr30 to get to the Bay. The cruise starts sailing at noon from the port of Halong for a 4 hour cruise with a seafood lunch on board. The highlight of the tour is to visit Heaven Palace Cave (Dong Thien Cung). The cruise arrives back to Halong port at around 4-4.30pm and finishes in Hanoi at 8pm.

However, the most popular choice is to choose a 2 day/1 night cruise as you get to see the major attractions of the bay and spend a night floating on board in the surreal surroundings.

The trips include many activities when you are there including kayaking amongst the huge Limestone Karsts, visiting Caves, and having the opportunity to swim in the cool waters (from March to late October)

The Surprise Cave (Hang Sung Sot) is a grand 12,000m2 cavern located in Bo Hon Island, deep in the heart of Halong’s Heritage Zone. It was found by the French who named it Grotte des surprise (Surprise Cave) in 1901.

The spectacular Titop Island is one of the more famous islands in Ha Long Bay. It is a beautiful stop to make on your cruise and offers a unique feature in that you can climb stairs to the top of the islet and get a picturesque 360’ view. It also features a fantastic crescent shaped beach, known for its white sand and small waves, making it ideal to lie and sunbathe followed by cooling down with a calming dip in the water.

After your cruise ends on 2nd day you will be transferred back to your hotel in Hanoi.

Cuc Phuong National Park:

120KM south of Hanoi

Travel on a tiny road up into the mountains before arriving at the Park. The expansive national park contains the largest area of lowland primary forest in Vietnam and is home to the Primate Rescue Centre. Once you arrive you will learn about the plight of the Cat Ba langur, Dalacour’s langur and other primates, and see the animals themselves.

150KM from Hanoi

Situated around 150km from Hanoi is the tranquil town of Mai Chau. The area creates interest among travelers because of the simple way of life for the villagers coupled with the fantastic surrounding mountain scenery. If staying overnight you will get an authentic look at the Vietnamese countryside by staying with a local family in a Homestay. The family will provide dinner and breakfast for you the next morning, giving you a chance to interact with them and fully immerse yourself in the way of life. Our guide lele is a wealth of information, Lele is very professional and very attentive to our needs. Lele is amazing. Lele got everything spot on. It probably helps that Guilin is a brilliant place to visit so Lele has great material to work with but that doesn't take anything away from how much Lele helped make it a great trip.

Our guide for Beijing was super knowledgeable and experienced and able to help us to achieve as much as we wanted within the time given. We had a fun time guided by him as he is also super humorous and you can see how he interacts with the vendors and people whom he comes by. Thank you for a very enjoyable time in Beijing and accommodating to all our needs!

Our China Highlight guide. Michael, was attentive, thoughtful and knowledgeable. He narrated many interesting historical events about Chengdu while touring around the city and having afternoon tea with us. Which month will be the best for the tour?

This can be very difficult for everyone to opt for the month because all seasons/all months can be proved as soul-soothing experiences in your life. Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – short tour around Hanoi Old Quarter

Today you’ll land in Hanoi. Driver picks you up at the airport and visits those famous places in Hanoi. Enjoy the Water Puppet Show or Cyclo Tour around the Old Quarter. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong bay (B, L, D)

Check-in cruise for Halong Bay. Cruising around Halong Bay, visiting the cave, kayaking, swimming, and joining the Sunset party on deck. Free at leisure, enjoy Halong Bay by night on the deck. Overnight on boat.

Day 3: Halong bay – Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh (B,L)

Early in the morning, there is a tai chi lesson. then cruising to the Halong Pearl cultivation area and oyster farm. Before lunch, a demonstration of a cooking class. Get a flight to HCM City after returning to Hanoi. Sleep in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh (HCM) – City Tour (B, L)

Visit the Reunification Palace, Notre Dame Cathedral, the ancient Central Post Office, and Binh Tay Market on the HCM City Tour. Travel to the Cu Chi Tunnel in the afternoon. Spend the night in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh (HCM) – Mekong delta (B, L)

Leave HCM City to Ben Tre, On a boat trip on the Mekong River, you’ll pass through natural creeks and quiet villages. Visiting bee farms, and handicraft villages, experience the local life on the Mekong River. Overnight in Can Tho.

Day 6: Mekong delta – Ho Chi Minh (B, L)

Voyage by boat to Cai Rang Floating village, tour a noodle and rice paper factory, and see Mekong River locals. Spend the night in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B)

Following breakfast at the hotel, you will have some free time to go shopping before being taken to the airport. Tour end!

Detailed itinerary, day 1: hanoi arrival – short tour around hanoi old quarter - stay overnight in hanoi.

The breezing air of morning, music of beach, ancient places and many more things are waiting for you. Welcome to hanoi! Our drivers will be waiting at the exit gates of airport holding Board

(Earlier mentioned) and will take you to the distinct hotel for checking out. Later on, all will be ready to hear out about the plans for the rest 7 days including the present day like visiting some famous places: Temple of Literature, Ngoc Son Temple, Hoan Kiem Lake.

For the next one hour, you will be enjoying Water Puppet Show or Cyclo Tour around the Old Quarter.

Stay overnight in Hanoi city

Day 2: Hanoi – Halong bay (B,L,D)

Happy cool and breezing morning! It will be your second day which you won’t forget. Round about 8 O’clock be ready because you will be picked up from your hotel on shuttle bus and for those who will get tired, take rest at humanity center while others should enjoy the scene of surroundings. The exact arrival at Halong will be at 11:45AM. Now, you all will be warmly welcomed by captain and crews. You will be helped out getting through the board by the crews. Hunger might trouble you but don’t worry the lunch will be served on the mean while you will enjoy the beautiful moves of ship over the islets and through thousands of islands.

You will be amazed when you will come to know about the Surprising Cave of Halong Bay. Might be you have never experienced anything fascinating like this somewhere else. Right after the lunch, we will be exploring it. The next one hour will be for the kayaking ‘ will unearth the lifestyle and their community system because it is around the fishing village so it would be very interesting and exciting thing to know. After so many things happened on this day, the Sunset Party would be waiting there for that you all need to go back to the boat. Keep calm and stay cool because you will enjoy your night with delicious food with the magical music of sea.  We won’t let you get bored, so many fun activities are on the way as squid fishing, karaoke program and most beautiful thing watching shining stars on the sundeck it would be the day when you will also come to know about the beauty of darkness as there will be no roof, ceiling or anything else that would cover this beauty. We will call it a day. Have a good night and take your pillows very tight because adventures are waiting.

Day 3: Halong bay – Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh (B,L)

Morning! Today you will have good breakfast with coffee or tea as per your desire in the breezing air of Halong bay. When you will be done up with your breakfast, hunting photos or exercises then the bus will be moving to Cai Beo harbor on Day Boat. When you will be visiting the Ba Hang Fishing Village just fr the sake of knowing how the local people live their life, it will be very good and new experience. We all will go back to restaurant to join cooking classes and will also have lunch there. Exact at 11:45 will go to disembark so that head towards Hanoi. 

Transfer straight to airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh. Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh, we transfer you to your hotel

Day 4: Ho Chi Minh – City Tour (B,L)

Good Morning, and cheers to the UPCOMING ADVENTURES. Before that you all need to have your breakfast at hotel. Then, guide pick you up to go visit the famous attractions in Ho Chi minh city.

We will go so many historical places when you will be up with your renewal. One of the most awaiting place to see is Re-Unification Palace (Independence Palace) , It was basically opened at 31st Oct,1996 which is now museum due to its amazing infrastructure and the inside architecture. It used to be resident of president Thieu and his forerunners

In the vicinity area, the central post office and the Notre dame cathedral is built. It is the city’s one of the crucial milestones which was constructed during 1877 to 1883.  

Nearby is the Central Post Office and the Notre Dame Cathedral, built between 1877- 1883 and is one of the city’s major landmarks. This cathedral is the vital element of the Cathedral religion in today’s culture of Vietnam. One more museum is remaining to visit, The War Remains museum where you will come to know about the fascinating war of Vietnam. After the Visit to the historical places, you will be left at Ben Thanh Market for shopping or taking gifts for your dear ones.   

Have lunch in the local restaurant.

After lunch, our guide will lift up you all and will drop you back at Ho Chi Minh to pay a visit to Cu Chi. Will turn inside out of cu chi tunnel- it had become legendary during the 1960s for its vital character in making ease for VC control of a major rural area just for 30 km to 40km from ho chi Minh city.

Day 5: Ho Chi Minh – Mekong delta: My Tho – Ben Tre – Can Tho (B,L)

On this day, we will enjoy the landscapes, the grounds filled with grasses and the green waving rice fields on your way to My Tho and Ben Tre. When we will reach My Tho, our first visit will be to Vinh Trang pagoda. You will enjoy the boat ride along the river, will catch a sight of stilt houses, fruit plantation alongside with fishing village across the river bank.

Moving to the small island which is also called Tortoise islet, will have our lunch in orchard garden this will be something mesmerizing which will grab your attention easily. In the next few moments, we will have a good ride on boat to An Khanh. When things will end up here, will possibly heading towards Ben Tre for some change of cruising on hand-rowed sampan beneath the coconut trees across the natural canals. If we had the sufficient time, we will go for the cycling for short period of time, eating the seasonal ripping fruits and honey tea alongside the soul music of Vietnamese culture folk music. Will go for the visit of family business where we will come to know about the rural life style, will taste the delicious food. On the meanwhile, will be wandering all around the village and will have some sense of plantation.

And will come back to Can Tho city.

Day 6: Mekong delta – visit floating market – Ho Chi Minh (B,L)

Morning! Have your breakfast and enjoy your today’s encounter of morning boat trip of the Phong Dien floating market which is considered as busiest at current time. After shipping through small channels, you will go ahead for the rice noddle manufacturing village. Will als come across the Monkey bridge in Delta. The seconf floating market is also on the way. Will give a short break for lunch and will reverse to Ho chi Minh.

Day 7: Ho Chi Minh – Departure (B)

This is the last day here! free time for shopping

And will get ready for departing Vietnam. Our drivers will fetch up you and leave you at the airport. Have safe journey.

Pick up at your hotel for full day tour of Hanoi, a blend of the modern with the mystery and charm of past centuries, Hanoi offers an air of elegance and harmony with nature. Today’s sightseeing begins with a visit Ba Dinh Square to see Ho Chi Minh’s Mausoleum - the museum to his life and the simple cottage where he lived and worked. Then visit Presidential Palace, house on stilts and One Pillar pagoda (locally known as Chua Mot Cot) originally built in 1040 A.D. on a pillar constructed of a single large tree trunk.

Dated to the 11th century, the temple was dedicated to Xuan Wu, or Trấn Vũ in Vietnamese, one of the principal deities in Taoism. The latter is the oldest pagoda in the city, originally constructed in the sixth century during the reign of Emperor Lý Nam Đế (from 544 until 548), thus giving it an age of more than 1,450 years

Then also visit Van Mieu or Temple of Literature , which dates back to 1070 and is dedicated to the cult of Confucius. Continue visit National museum of Vietnam history which was built between 1925 and 1932, this architecturally impressive museum was formerly home to the École Française d’Extrême Orient. The museum is keeping bronzes from the Dong Son culture (3rd century BC to 3rd century AD), Hindu statuary from the Khmer and Champa kingdoms, jewellery from imperial Vietnam, and displays relating to the French occupation and the Communist Party.

Next, visit Hanoi Opera House nearby and beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, known as the Lake of the Restored Sword. Later, take a cyclo ride through the Hanoi’s Old Quarter, a network of narrow alleys and shop houses also known as “The 36 Streets.” This is a wonderful place to watch the local life, and peruse items from fabrics to crafts to exotic medicines. Transfer back to hotel. Overnight at hotel in Hanoi.

Day 03: Hanoi - Ha Long Bay - Overnight on boat (B/L/D)

7.30-7.45:  Our car will pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter to Halong Bay

12.30: Arrive at cruise office in Halong City. Transferred by tender to the cruise – enjoy welcome drink. Receive cruise briefing, check in cabin and start the cruise.

13.30 Having lunch – a delicious Vietnamese set menu.

15.15 – 15.40:  Head to Bai Tu Long Bay . Pass the towns of Hon Gai and Cam Pha, Oan Lagoon, Monster Head and Teapot Islets and Thien Canh Son Cave .  Explore the well- hidden Thien Canh Son cave.

After the exploration of the cave, enjoy swimming and kayaking activities in the blue ocean.

18.00: Drop anchor in the calm water surrounded by islets in Cong Dam.

19.15:  Having dinner on board.

21.00: Relax or join activities on boat: film entertainment, light music for dancing...

Overnight aboard the cruise.

Day 04: Cruise - Kayaking - Hanoi (B/L/-)

06.15: Start your day with Tai Chi on the Sundeck while complimentary tea & coffee are served.

07.00: Have breakfast

07.45 - 09.00: Visit the Vung Vieng floating fishing village by bamboo sampa n for an hour in to the village. Short visit to the Pearl Farm to learn how natural pearls are grown.

Then, return to cruise for your leisure or join one of the following optional activities: Sunbathing, traditional massage, swimming etc.

09.45: You have 30 minutes to freshen up and finish packing.

10.00: Check out cabin. Then return to dining room for Vietnamese cooking class.

10.30: Enjoy Set Menu for lunch in the dining room. Relax and enjoy the rest of Halong Bay before getting back to harbor.

11.45: Arrive at Hon Gai Harbour . Get on a van or a car back to Hanoi.

Arrive in Hanoi at around 4:30 PM. Check-in hotel and overnight in Hanoi.

Day 05: Hanoi - Ho Chi Minh - Discovery (B/-/-)

Enjoy your last day in Hanoi until being transferred to the airport for flight to Saigon. Upon arrival, be picked up by our guide and then move to central city for city tour. Start city tour by walking along Dong Khoi St, which used to be known as the Rue Catinat, the first street built by Frech. Next visit European style architectures including City hall (Hotel De Ville), the old Opera House, Notre Dame Cathedral and the Central Post Office.

Later, dip into the modern history at Reunification Palace which is also called Independence Palace or Doc Lap Palace in Vietnamese. The Palace was stormed by tanks of the liberation army on April 30 1975. Nowadays, Reunification Palace has been a historic and cultural relic. Continue the trip to War Remnants Museum which preserves the items and documents in the Vietnam – American War.

In the afternoon, drive to Cho Lon (China town) and then Thien Hau Pagoda built by Cantonese congregation and this is the biggest pagoda of Chinese Vietnamese. Finally, finish your tour at Ben Thanh market which is located in the very city center. The good nowadays in the market are abundant consisting of almost domestic products especially those from Mekong Delta.

8:00 am you will be picked up at your hotel in the central city by our guide and then depart for My Tho Town in Tien Giang Province; dip into the beauty of rice fields along the way. Visit Vinh Trang pagoda which is the “must visit” site in Tien Giang. The pagoda is an ancient Southern gem with the combination of Asian and European architecture including Renaissance period and Romanesque style.

Next, arrive in My Tho, take a boat trip on Mekong River to visit farmer’s house and garden. View the fishing port, the traditional stilt houses and boat building workshops, and four islands including Dragon, Phoenix, Unicorn and Tortoise . The boat continues to Tan Thach (Ben Tre) , ride horse and carriage around villages to see the local life and taste tropical fruits and honey tea at bee-keeping farm; listen to traditional music and visit coconut candy manufacturer . After that, roam around villages to get deeper understanding of local life.

Later depart to Can Tho, visit Ong pagoda, ancient house of Binh Thuy – a colonial house. Transfer to your hotel in the center.

You are going to visit Cai Rang floating market in the morning. The landscape is very beautiful: hundred sampans with full of rice, fruits and handicraft products…they are here to exchange their products. We will then visit the central market and explore the local activities. After leaving the market, we are going to visit a luxuriant orchard of Little Hien Farm and enjoy the fruit.

Later transfer back to Saigon, on the way back, visit Cao Dai temple which is famous for its a new religious movement founded in Vietnam with the combination of Buddhism, Christianity, Taoism, Confucianism and Islam. The full name of the religion is Đại Đạo Tam Kỳ Phổ Độ (great religion of the third period of revelation and salvation). Then, transferred to the airport for flight back to your country.

• The night train arrives in Lao Cai station at 6 AM.
• Take driving up from Lao Cai station to Sapa town ( 40km, 1-hour drive by land transfer ). Located at an elevation of 1600 meters, Sapa is a delightful former French hill station situated in the mountainous region of Vietnam’s northwest. The region is home to many ethnic minority groups. Each group is different appear with their traditional customs, habits in their lifestyle, the architecture of houses, costumes, their own cultures which have been being preserved from generation to generation. All of them make small-town surprisingly boasts its richness in its indigenous tribal culture of the ethnic communities, together with the unrivaled beauties in natural landscapes.
• Arrival in Sapa put off your luggage, get change and breakfast ( notice: A quick shower can be arranged on your request; hotel check-in time is from 14: 00, early check-in is NOT included and subject to hotel’s availability and upon hotel regulation ) After lunch, the van will bring you to the Black Hmong’s village where you start a sightseeing tour beginning with a minority village named Cat Cat. • Good morning in beautiful Sapa!
• Enjoy the buffet breakfast and café then check out the hotel before getting started the trip to explore the minority village along the Muong Hoa River such as Lao Chai’s Black Hmong Village and Ta Van’s Giay village.
• The van will bring you to Lao Chai village where you will start trekking via the rice terraces and Black Hmong houses and suspension bridges, or to see rice water mills and being in touch-friendly communication with ethnic people ( the trekking way is not hard – easy trekking; trekking, taking photographs and going sightseeing by the most beautiful landscapes such rice terraces, valleys, streams and to study the local daily life’s experiences)

Accommodations were good especially Thang Long Espana Hotel (the Hotel Management automated upgraded us to VIP rooms.Is really unexpected). Overalled tours n places visited very well but only local guides r not good organizing the itineraries. Especially at Sapa Lao Cai and Cat Cat Villages walking tours push to the same day about 8hours for 7km (which is on 1st&2nd days arrival) so tiring. Lunch not good enough 4 so many hours of walking. In Danang Bana Hill the local guide shd arrange 2 visit Bana Hill 1st n not last coz' spend a short time n not nice photos taken due to rain (went in morning time no rain). Overall tours, hotels, transportation, prices are strongly recommended. Especially Daniel Dang Impress Travel for welcoming and bye-bye wishes. 5days Hanoi-Tam Coc-Ninh Binh-Halong Bay

We are family of 6 from Singapore and Malaysia joining Hanoi Impress Travel on 30 October-04 November 2019. We are really impressed with the company and tour guides with their professionalism and well organised arrangement. Lily is our guide for Hanoi, Tam Coc and Ninh Binh. She is excellent and very informative. She even taking care of us until late night. We walk us from Old Quarters to the hotel and brought us to try the famous road side foods. She even helped us to pay for our order to avoid overcharge by the stall. Another guide, David BK (Swan Cruise) brought us to Halong Bay cruise. He is excellent and humorous. He handles everything throughout the trip. He served meals for guests on the cruise, organised happy hour, guiding us for Kayaking, teaching Taiji and cooking class on cruise. The cruise ship is ok and the hotel in Hanoi-Adamas Hotel is small but new and clean with reasonable ok breakfast. Anyway thank you for the wonderful arrangement.

Professional and well organized

We booked a 8 day private tour package for 9 persons for Northern and Central Vietnam . We experienced great and very professional service from the Impress travel team. Tommy was very easy to contact and accommodated our requests. All the tour guides were very good, spoke good English, friendly and patient. All the vehicles were very clean , spacious enough for our group of 6 adults and 3 children. The drivers were extremely safe and ontime. Meals were served in clean restaurants. 5D/4N Hanoi-Ninh Binh- Halong Bay

I was searching for a reliable travel agent and come across Impress Travel and the many reviews of them. I booked 5D/4N, Hanoi-Trang An-Halong Bay private trip for a party of 6. I communicated with Mr Daniel Dang throughout the time until the day we arrived. Mr Daniel is very patient, helpful, and accommodating to our requirements despite many changes made to the itinerary. The price is very reasonable unlike other travel agents. Our tour guide, Lily was very friendly and efficientknowledgeable and speak good English. Highly recommend “Trang An Boat Tour”. The caves was spectacular and beautifully. 2D/1N Halong Bay – Swan Cruise was awesome with amazing view of the cave. Our guide Mr David was hilarious, helpful, accommodating, and everything was well organized. Beside the normal activities of kayaking, swimming, Tai Chi, culinary lesson, we are indeed very very fortunate to have the chance to celebrate the “Mooncake Festival” while cruising and admiring the full moon. Spread of mooncake, dessert, sweet snack, fruits, cocktail, beer and mini dragon dance complete the celebration. Tourists from all over the world party all night long.

Although we paid for a 3-star package, the hotel (Thang Long Espana Hotel), meals and transport provided were also above average. Our gang have a very enjoyable and memorable trip in Hanoi. DETAILED ITINERARY

Welcome to  Ho Chi Minh – the largest city of Vietnam. The room is at your disposal from 02:00 PM onwards.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Your guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel. We will visit the following places of interest:

• Independence Palace  (the Reunification Palace) was built on the sight of the former Norodom palace.
• War Remnants Museum  which has a vast display of both the Indochina wars.
• Notre Dame Cathedral & Central Post Office  the beautiful structures from the French Colonial times
• Jade Emperor Pagoda  with the peaceful atmosphere &o many stories behind each detail of the pagoda.

After a few hours discovering the city, you will enjoy your lunch at a local restaurant before we drive about 1,5 hours through the pleasant countryside before arriving at  Cu Chi .

• Upon arrival, you’ll watch a brief of propaganda video, which explains how the tunnels were used to successfully defeat American military forces in combat.
• The tour continues and the guide explains some traps that were placed in the jungles of Vietnam to either maim American soldiers or create panic amongst the ranks.
• From here, you can enter one of the tunnel entrances and crawl through the tunnels is a real experience to imagine how people could live there for an extended period!
• There is a shooting range where you can try to fire an automatic or semi-automatic weapon for a fee (this fee is not included)
•  Take some rest at the end for a taste of Cu Chi boiled tapioca and thinking what humans are capable of when having to defend their home.

We drive back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you to your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Our guide and driver will pick you up at your hotel, and drive 1,5 hours to  My Tho . We will stop along the way for refreshments and toilet.

• Upon arrival, we board a motor-boat and cruise along a vast network of canals and channels to enjoy wonderful views of the Mekong River, including four famous islands “ Dragon, Unicorn, Turtle, and Phoenix”.
• Stop at one of the floating fish houses, in nets and wire baskets under their house, the villagers cultivate freshwater fish and shrimp – a major export product of the region.
• Cross the River to the other side, you will stop at a traditional workshop to witness a step-by-step process on how to make coconut candy, honey farming… while trying some yourself and listening to traditional music.
• Enjoy what local people offer by hand rowing a sampan along the shady, breezy canal. We will transfer to local transportation called Xe Lôi to travel throughout the villages.
• Lunch will be served at a riverside restaurant with a Vietnamese 5-course set menu. Please request in advance if you have a food allergy, you are a vegetarian, or you observe Halal.
• Take a rest after lunch before boarding the motor-boat back to Mỹ Tho. We drive to Vĩnh Tràng pagoda , an ancient southern architectural gem built in the middle of the 19th century. There are many Buddha statues including some that are over a hundred years old.

We drive another 1,5 hours back to Ho Chi Minh city and drop you at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

Free on your own until our driver comes to pick you up to transfer to the airport to take a domestic flight to  Hanoi .

Once arrival, you will be warmly welcomed by our driver to transfer to the hotel to check-in. The room will be at your disposal from 02:00 PM .

07:45 – 08:30 AM:  Depart to Bai Dinh pagoda and Trang An eco-tourism site. Have a short break en-route to free your legs.

10:30 – 11:00 AM:  Visit  Bai Dinh Pagoda  – Southeast Asia’s largest Buddhist complex which consists of several temples and over 500 intricately carved statues of Buddha

12:30 PM:  Then, you will have lunch in a restaurant with local special dishes.

01:30 PM:  We will visit  Trang An  by a boat trip through cave chains and an exciting  “Kong – Skull Island”  film studio.

06:30 – 07:00 PM:  You will be dropped at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

07:30 – 08:00 AM:  Pick up at the hotel and start 3.5-hour scenic – drive to  Halong Bay .

12:45 PM:  Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor, and then embark a Day cruise followed by a short cruise briefing. Have lunch and cruise through the emerald water passing by the  Dog Stone, the Burning Incense islet,  stop at  Ba Hang fishing village  for kayaking or sit in a sampan boat rowed by locals.

Visit  Fighting-Cock islet  and the  Heavenly Palace  (Thien Cung) cave

Have tea break while enjoying local finger food and sunset in Halong Bay.

04:45 – 05:15 PM:  Back to the harbor. Disembark and get on the bus back to Hanoi.

08:30 PM:  Drop off at your hotel. Dinner on your own. Overnight at the hotel.

• Transfer:  Shuttle bus

Have a  local breakfast  at your hotel. Afterward, we transfer to Tran Quoc Pagoda – the oldest of its kind in Hanoi, dating back to the 6th century during the reign of Emperor Ly Nam De Dynasty (544 – 548). The Buddhist shrine has undergone several changes throughout the years, particularly its renaming from An Quoc to Tran Quoc (protecting the country) by Emperor Le Huy Tong in the 17th century.

Then we move to the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closes on Monday and Friday) and his traditional stilt house.

At 12:00 PM , check out the hotel and you will be taken to a restaurant to enjoy lunch first (Indian food). After that, transfer to the airport for your flight back home. Dinner on your own. End of services.
