The food and service were amazing. So that does not disappoint. However, although we had paid for the experience menu which means we have a table with the best view, we were placed in front of some structure of the boat which defensively blocked our view. There are different boats operating so once you enter the boat and are seated be sure that you have what you had paid for - an amazing and privileged view. Cruise Dinner in Paris: A Disappointing Affair Our recent experience on a cruise dinner in Paris left much to be desired, painting a picture far removed from the romanticized notion of dining along the Seine. While the concept held promise, the execution fell short on multiple fronts, ultimately rendering it a regrettable waste of money. Let's start with the food. While it wasn't terrible, it certainly didn't live up to the standards one would expect from a dining experience in the culinary capital of the world. The dishes were passable at best, lacking the finesse and flavor one anticipates when dining in Paris. Unfortunately, the ambiance was far from refined. The people seated behind us were obnoxiously loud, disrupting any chance of enjoying a peaceful meal. Their boisterous behavior set the tone for the entire evening, with the rest of the guests following suit in a cacophony of noise that drowned out any hope of an elegant atmosphere. The lack of class among the clientele was palpable, further detracting from what should have been a sophisticated affair. Adding insult to injury was our seating arrangement. Despite hopes of a picturesque view of the Seine, we were relegated to seats that offered no sight of the water whatsoever. To make matters worse, the windows were fogged up, obscuring any potential view and leaving us feeling claustrophobic and disconnected from the supposed charm of cruising along the river. Service was another sore point. The staff seemed overwhelmed and disorganized, resulting in slow and inattentive service throughout the evening. Requests went unanswered, and it was clear that the level of professionalism did not match the premium price tag attached to the experience. Even the children's meal was a disappointment, with only one uninspired option available on the menu. This lack of variety was a stark reminder of the oversight and lack of consideration for younger guests. To top it all off, the incessant photography happening around us was a constant source of irritation. The flashing lights from cameras further disrupted any chance of enjoying the evening, adding to the overall feeling of discontent. In conclusion, our cruise dinner in Paris was a regrettable waste of money. From the mediocre food to the disruptive ambiance, fogged-up windows, poor service, and lackluster children's menu, every aspect of the experience fell short of expectations. For those seeking a truly memorable dining experience in the City of Lights, I would strongly advise looking elsewhere. We did the Excellence menu which guarantees prime window seating and an upgraded menu. Not sure we needed to as all tables of 4+ were already in these prime areas (maybe the cruise wasn’t fully booked though?). The food was quite good for a short river cruise and there were 5 selections for each course. Generous with the beverages - a glass of champagne for all plus a bottle each of red & white wine with the Excellence option. If I could criticize one thing it has to do with the ambience. The pot lights are harsh and too bright. From where we were seated it was like being poked in the eye. A touch of dimming would have made a world of difference and reduced glare on the windows which was a problem for photos and even just getting a clear view out from your table (all photos had to be taken from the upper outdoor deck as a result). This seems like a little thing but in the moment of the experience it was a real drawback and would probably prevent me from rebooking. The Prestige Dinner Cruise package includes:

The Bateaux Mouches Company provides free parking directly at the port, in close proximity to the boarding area.

For Sightseeing Cruises, reservations are not obligatory, but due to high demand, they are highly recommended (average on-site waiting time: 1 hour). E-tickets allow you to access the boats directly, avoiding waiting at the ticket counters. E-tickets are usable for any departure on the reserved day and remain automatically valid for 24 months at the date and time of your choice in case of unforeseen circumstances.

For lunches and dinners, advance reservations are mandatory. We recommend booking at least 15 days in advance.

When will I receive my sightseeing e-tickets?

Your e-tickets are sent instantly by email as soon as your purchase is confirmed and can be used immediately upon receipt.

How long are my Sightseeing Cruise e-tickets valid?

Your e-tickets are automatically valid for 24 months and can be used on the date and time of your choice. The calendar aims to inform you of any upcoming closures in the coming weeks.

Where will I be seated on the boat?

For sightseeing cruises, seating is open on the boats. The sightseeing boats are entirely glassed-in and also have an open-air upper deck.

For lunches and dinners, seating is arranged based on the number of people during your reservation to ensure a private and comfortable meal. For clarification, during dinners, preferred seats are reserved for the Excellence formula.

Are there stops during the Cruises?

All cruises are non-stop with departure and return at Port de la Conférence, Pont de l’Alma.

Are animals allowed on board?

Hygiene and safety regulations on the boats do not allow animals on board, except for guide dogs.
