HK Singer G.E.M. Falls On Stage During The Opening Night Of World Tour In Guangzhou

Though it looked like a painful fall, the 32-year-old singer didn’t seem affected and went on to finish the performance.

Concertgoers to Hong Kong singer  G.E.M. ’s opening night of her ‘G.E.M. I AM GLORIA’ World Tour in Guangzhou, China last week saw her take a tumble on stage. 

Dressed in what looked like a wedding gown with scorched marks, the 32-year-old singer was said to have tripped after stepping onto her long skirt. The collective gasp of 30,000 fans after seeing her stumble could be heard in the video .

Thankfully, G.E.M. didn’t fall from too high a height, and a nearby staffer was seen immediately helping her up, while ensuring she suffered no injuries.

The seasoned performer seemed unperturbed by the incident and simply stood up to continue with a performance of ‘Amazing Grace’.

Later in the concert, she addressed the accident with a smile saying, “More than 30,000 people just watched me fall there. But as long you have light, you can fall and still stand up. That is the most important thing.”

We are just glad she is fine.

Well I went to the concert on Easter Sunday and G.E.M. did not disappoint. The stage was alive with music and dancing for three hours. But it was Gloria's musical skills that made it happen. I do not speak Chinese but I love her voice. It was her performance skills that made the show come alive, her energy on stage took over the hall. I also loved the way she interacted with the audience. You could tell she loved her fans and that loved flowed back to her. I have always said that G.E.M. voice is as good as any and better than most, truly World Class. I would go and see her again. The next time though, it will be a VIP ticket so I can meet this amazing woman.

Two additional stops have been revealed for (G)I-DLE ’s “I am FREE-TY” world tour!

In addition to the previously announced dates, (G)I-DLE will also be visiting Macau on October 14 and Singapore on October 29.

(G)I-DLE has announced a new batch of tour stops for their upcoming world tour “I am FREE-TY”!

After touring the United States in August (as previously announced), the group will be heading to Europe this September to perform in London, Amsterdam, Paris, Brussels, and Berlin. They will then return to Asia for a two-night concert in Tokyo on September 27 and 28.

(G)I-DLE is gearing up for their highly-anticipated world tour!

On April 27, Cube Entertainment announced (G)I-DLE’s upcoming 2023 world tour “I am FREE-TY.”

The world tour will kick off in Seoul on June 17 and 18 at the Jamsil Indoor Stadium, and afterwards, the group will go on to meet global fans in 10 regions including Taipei, Bangkok, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Dallas, New York, Atlanta, and Chicago. The poster also teases the possibility of more dates and locations to come at a later date.

Ahead of their world tour, (G)I-DLE will drop their new mini album “ I feel ” on May 15.

K-pop girl group (G)I-DLE have announced their 2023 world tour, ‘I am FREE-TY’.

(G)I-DLE announced that they will be going on a world tour this year, following the release of their new mini-album ‘I Feel’ , alongside its title track ‘Queencard’.

It kicked off June 17 with a two-night concert in Seoul, South Korea. Meanwhile, the girl group are currently on the first Asia leg of the tour, with shows in Taiwan, Thailand and Hong Kong throughout July.

In August, (G)I-DLE will head to the US for the North American leg of their ‘I am FREE-TY’ world tour. It will start on August 4 in San Francisco, followed by a show in Los Angeles two days later. Thereafter, the quintet will perform in Dallas, New York, Atlanta and Chicago.

In September the girl group will go on a tour across Europe, kicking things off in London on the 9th. Following which, (G)I-DLE will play shows in Paris, Berlin and more, before heading back to Asia for a two-night concert in Tokyo, Japan.

On July 18, (G)I-DLE added two more Asia shows in October, on the 14th in Macau, China and on the 29th in Singapore. The girl group also announced a second Berlin show on the 19th of September.

Tickets to (G)I-DLE’s the San Francisco, New York and Chicago shows are available at Ticketmaster and will cost $65 to $275.

2024 NCAA baseball tournament bracket, scores, schedule: Super Regionals underway for College World Series

Sixteen teams remain in the ncaa tournament, and the eight-team college world series starts june 14.

The 2024 NCAA baseball tournament is underway after the 64-team field was trimmed to 16 this week. Action in the Super Regionals runs through the weekend. On Friday, it was all about the ACC, as North Carolina and Virginia pulled out wins, but Florida State put an exclamation point on its 24-4 blowout over UConn.

The Seminoles blasted five home runs -- they finished with 18 hits -- while setting a Super Regionals record for most runs and largest winning margin.  

Top seed Tennessee was able to survive Evansville as AJ Causey was dominant from the mound. The Vols are now one win away from another appearance in Omaha. The eight winners of the best-of-three Super Regional matchups move on to the College World Series, which kicks off June 14.

Other top seeds, like Georgia, NC State, Kentucky, and Texas A&M will open their series on Saturday.

Ilim Group Presents its New KLB Mill to Industry Players

Presentation of the largest kraftliner production site in Russia took place at the 27th International Exhibition of the Packaging Industry RosUpack

The presentation of the Big Ust-Ilimsk Project, involving the construction of Russia’s one-of-a-kind pulp and board (KLB) mill in the Irkutsk Oblast, was one of the key events at RosUpack 2023. When speaking at the plenary session on corrugated board packaging market development, Alexey Chenyaev, Ilim’s Senior Vice President, Sales, Supply Chain Management and Packaging, focused on the advanced manufacturing and environmental solutions implemented at the new KLB Mill and prospects for sales market expansion it will secure.

After KLB Mill ramp-up (600,000 tons of kraftliner per year), the total annual output of Ilim Group will amount to 4.3 million tons. The Company will be one of the world’s largest producers of unbleached packaging materials and will strengthen its leadership in the Chinese market of wood-free corrugated materials with a share of approximately 50 to 60%.

The Big Ust-Ilimsk project was met by exhibitors with great interest. This year the event was attended by more than 740 companies from 19 countries. Ilim’s booth with an area of 140 m2 was one of the largest one at the site and was operated by about 50 experts from Sales and Corrugated Box Business Management Departments. The booth was attended by over 60 key accounts and more than 120 representatives of various companies, including such major ones as Heinz, MARS and KDV-Group.

Ilim Group is the leader of the Russian pulp and paper industry and one of the industry leaders globally. Ilim Group has three pulp and paper mills in the Arkhangelsk (Koryazhma) and Irkutsk (Bratsk and Ust-Ilimsk) Oblasts, two modern corrugated box plants in the Leningrad and Moscow Oblasts (Kommunar and Dmitrov, respectively), and Sibgiprobum engineering and design institute (Irkutsk).
