Change Marzocchi Bomber Z2 from 140mm to 150mm travel?

Hi all, I have a Rise H30 and was wondering if there is a way to change the Marzocchi Bomber Z2 140mm to have 150mm travel instead? (I note that on the Marzocchi site for that fork there isn't a 150mm travel option, so don't know if there would be such a part.). Thanks in advance!

I've done it, it's easy. The fork does feel more flexy at 150mm but YMMV.

Thanks both for your replies - good to know it's a tested route. I run a Lyrik Ultimate 150mm on my regular (non electric) MTB , and despite being a relatively light rider I do feel that it is sturdier.

Review: Marzocchi's New Bomber Z2 Fork is Impressive & Affordable

Marzocchi Bomber Z2 fork 2020

Cool Features

First Look | Everything you need to know about the new 2020 Marzocchi Bomber Z2

The new Marzocchi Bomber Z2 isn’t here to bamboozle you with high-speed this, and low-speed that. Keeping things simple, the Bomber Z2 is designed to offer solid, honest performance and ease of adjustability, while still being loaded with the latest 2020 tech. But is the Z2 just a cheaper Fox fork? Or something altogether different? Time to find out!

Looking to the future, with an eye on the past

After a few years on the rocks, Italian suspension brand Marzocchi has been clawing its way back into the suspension market. Having been bought out by Fox Racing Shox in 2015, a revitalised Marzocchi engaged in a successful re-entry back into the mountain bike world last year with the re-release of the iconic Bomber Z1. The Z1 was also accompanied by a dual-crown downhill fork called the Bomber 58, which was then later joined by an entry-level coil shock called the Bomber CR.

We tested out and reviewed the 2019 Bomber Z1 last year , and came away thoroughly impressed by the fork’s control and sensitivity, especially given its sharp pricing relative to its big brother, the Fox 36. In his review, Mick offered up this concise but accurate evaluation; “ the Bomber is a great fork, hands down. ” It also probably helped that the Z1 looked absolutely grouse with those dashing red lowers.

One year on, and we’ve seen the new generation Z1 fork make its way onto a load of bikes out on the trails. Looking to build on that momentum, Marzocchi has recently added another fork to its lineup for 2020; the brand new Bomber Z2.

marzocchi bomber z2 suspension fork

The Z2 Returns!

22-years on from the launch of the original Z2, and it’s now back in the Marzocchi lineup. This one is a little different to the original though.

In reality, the new Z2 is essentially a shrunken-down Z1. Rather than chunky 36mm stanchions and 130-180mm of travel, the Z2 sizes down to 34mm stanchions and 100-150mm of travel. Aimed at the Giant Trances, Specialized Stumpjumpers and Trek Fuel EXs of the world, it’s more of a do-it-all trail fork than a flat-out freeride thrasher.

Marzocchi is offering the 2020 Bomber Z2 for both 27.5in and 29in wheelsizes, and you can choose from 100, 120, 130, 140 & 150mm travel options. It’s possible to alter the travel internally, but you’ll need a new air spring shaft to do so. You can get the 29er fork in both 51mm and 44mm offsets, while the 27.5in version is currently only available with a 44mm offset.

Bring Simple Back

The tagline for the new Z2 fork could very well be inspired by the words of a certain Mr Timberlake. Indeed, Marzocchi says it would like to bring sexy simple back with the Z2, which is kind of what the brand is best known for. Rather than relying on expensive materials and offering up a zillion different adjustments, the Z2 instead strips things back to basics, with a keen focus on reliability and ease of use.

Like the Z1, the Z2 is also an air-sprung fork, and you can adjust both spring pressure and volume. In the other leg you’ve got Marzocchi’s own RAIL damper, which offers adjustable rebound damping via a single dial at the bottom, with an adjustable compression/lockout dial up top.

What’s Under The Hood?

Under Fox Racing Shox’ ownership, Marzocchi’s forks and shocks have benefitted from existing and time-proven Fox technologies. And for the Z2, that’s sort of the case.

The chassis is based upon the popular Fox 34 Float fork, with both forks utilising 34mm diameter stanchions. However, the Z2 uses cheaper and heavier 6000-series alloy upper tubes instead of the 7000-series alloy found on the 34. The Z2 also gets one-piece magnesium lowers, but they’re treated to their own unique M-arch design.

Likewise, the 110x15mm dropouts aren’t quite the same as what you’ll find on a Fox fork – the QR15 lever is the same, but the threaded nut isn’t clocked like the Fox version. Instead, a 4mm hex bolt in the end of the axle allows you to tighten or loosen the axle after you’ve clamped the lever in place. It’s actually quite neat, and a welcome improvement to the cheaper axle used on the Z1 fork. We might even prefer it to the Fox QR15 axle system.

It’s worth noting that the air spring is exactly the same EVOL design that you’ll find inside the Fox 34 though, with a self-equalising positive/negative spring chamber and the same coloured plastic volume spacers used for altering the spring rate. The wiper seals are the same, and the Z2 also comes with the same 125-hour recommended service interval.

RAIL, Not GRIP

The main difference between the Fox 34 and the Marzocchi Bomber Z2 though is the RAIL damper. Whereas the Z1 fork borrows the GRIP damper directly from Fox, the RAIL damper found inside the Z2 is unique to Marzocchi.

Aiming to simplify the internals while also making maintenance easier, the RAIL damper completely separates the compression and rebound piston assemblies. Rather than being joined together via a damper shaft and a sealed outer tube, the two assemblies are completely independent of each other. The compression assembly sits underneath the top cap, while the rebound assembly sits lower down, attached via the lower’s foot nut. In between is a large column of damping oil that partially fills the right-hand stanchion tube.

2020 marzocchi bomber z2 fork

With less moving parts, the RAIL damper is simpler to manufacture, and the split layout means there’s also no need to bleed the damper during servicing. Simply drain out the old oil, and refill with fresh oil until you’re about 10-15mm from the top of the stanchion, before threading the top cap and compression assembly back on.

Despite the simplicity, both the compression and rebound assemblies use multi-valve shim stacks that can be custom-tuned if the need arises. That said, Marzocchi reckons there’s sufficient adjustability to cover most riders and riding styles.

Speaking of adjustability, you get 16-clicks of rebound damping at the bottom of the fork, while the function of the ‘Sweep Adj’ lever at the top of the fork is the same as the blue-coloured lever found on a Fox GRIP damper. You wind the dial counter-clockwise to decrease compression damping, and clockwise to increase compression damping, all the way to a full lockout. One thing we do like about the lever on the RAIL damper is that it’s a lot firmer in action, which means you’re less likely to accidentally bump it out of position.

Is It Cheaper?

Yes, by quite a healthy amount!

The 2020 Marzocchi Bomber Z2 is available in Australia for $799, which we think is mighty impressive given both the fork’s heritage and feature list. That price puts it a fair whack cheaper than a Fox 34 Performance Elite Series fork ($1,189), and it also undercuts the RockShox Revelation RC ($999).

Part of the price reduction can be spotted in the adjusters, which are all made from plastic rather than the alloy dials you’ll find on a Fox fork. Even the air cap is plastic. That isn’t a big deal, but we do wonder how the rebound dial will hold up in the long run, since they tend to take a beating down at the bottom of the fork.

change travel bomber z2

So It’s Heavier, Right?

Not as much as you might think. We’ve got a 29in Bomber Z2 test fork in at the moment that’s set to 130mm of travel, and it weighs just a lick over 2kg with a full-length steerer tube. That’s about 100g more than Fox’s Performance Series 34, and about 70g more than the Revelation.

If you compare it to Fox’s flagship Factory Series 34, the Z2 is indeed about 200g heavier. But we are talking about a fork that costs nearly twice the price of the Z2.

fox float 34 kashima norco sight

We’ll be riding the 2020 Marzocchi Bomber Z2 fork over the coming months to see how its performance compares to the Fox 34, and to find out just how the new RAIL damper will fare in the long run. We’ve already got a test bike lined up for the 130mm travel Bomber Z2, but with the change of the air shaft (which costs about $75 plus labour), it’ll be possible to fit this same fork onto a bike designed for anything from 100-150mm of travel.

Stay tuned for the longterm review!

How good of a fork can you get for $500? I’d say Marzocchi has answered that question with the 2020 Bomber Z2. As the little brother to the beefier Bomber Z1, the Z2 is intended for aggressive trail riding. I found the fork rode pretty well overall, but its strong point seems to be smoothly handling bigger, high-speed impacts.

After a few weeks testing the 29” 150mm version this summer, I’d say the Bomber Z2 should keep all but highly discerning riders pretty happy. Realistically anyone who’s looking for a fork in this price range will likely be pleased with its performance.

2020 Marzocchi Bomber Z2 specs and features:

change travel bomber z2

The Bomber Z2 is available for 27.5” or 29” wheels. Travel options for 29ers are 100, 120 or 130mm , and the 27.5” models come in 140 and 150mm. Both wheel sizes are available with 44mm or 51mm offsets.  One thing to note – the 29” 150mm model I tested is an OEM fork only. Marzocchi kindly sent me this fork because it happened to fit the Knolly Fugitive LT I had on review.

change travel bomber z2

The Bomber Z2 is built around 34mm stanchions, and has a tapered aluminum steerer tube. If you’re aware of Marzocchi’s current ownership, you won’t be surprised to hear this fork uses a Fox Float air spring, and of course Fox’s volume spacers to adjust bottom-out resistance.

The Z2’s damper, however, is unique to Marzocchi. Their Rail damper offers infinite adjustment from open to firm with a twist of the lever. The lever adjusts both the high and low speed compression – at this price point separate adjustments would be a lot to ask for. The Rail damper features an open bath system in the bottom and a closed system up top.

change travel bomber z2

With Marzocchi’s signature ‘M’ shaped arch, the Bomber Z2 offers tire clearances up to 27.5×2.8” or 29×2.6”. One nice touch is how the Z2’s brake hose clamp keeps the housing away from the fork’s lowers where it won’t rub away at the finish. One not so nice detail is that both of the top caps are made of plastic! Their metal-like finish makes it hard to catch by eye, but one touch will give it away.

change travel bomber z2

The fork’s post mount is for a 160mm brake rotor, so if you’re running a 180mm or larger up front you’ll have to add an adapter (like I did).  The Z2 runs a Boost 15x110mm QR axle, and an allen key bolt inside the axle’s drive side allows you to adjust where the QR lever snugs up so you can line it up with your fork.

change travel bomber z2

The 29” 150mm Bomber Z2 weighs 4.45lbs. Marzocchi recommends a full service every 125 hours or annually, whichever comes first. The Bomber Z2 is covered by a one year limited warranty.

Ride Impressions:

change travel bomber z2

Once you point it downhill and pick up some speed, the Z2 smooths over small and medium bumps much better. When pushed a bit harder, the fork goes to work and sucks up trail inputs quite well…once you have it tuned correctly…

change travel bomber z2

On an early test lap I felt like the fork wasn’t handling chattery mid-sized bumps as smoothly as it could.  At that time I had the rebound at nine clicks, which is the factory recommendation for my weight. On my next ride I added three more clicks of rebound, then rode a fast and rough trail. This time the fork’s recovery was noticeably quicker, and it did a much better job of absorbing the chatter and keeping my front wheel stuck to the trail.

change travel bomber z2

When it comes to big high-speed impacts, the Bomber Z2’s performance gets closer to much more expensive forks. The fork has a fairly linear curve, but I still had to drop my air pressure a few psi lower than the recommended starting point to consistently get full travel (this is not uncommon for me with any brand’s fork or shock). Once dialed, the fork absorbed large hits quickly and smoothly.

I’m not a heavy guy but I ride some rough terrain, and I didn’t find the Bomber Z2’s chassis at all flexy. 36mm stanchions would beef it up for sure, but unless you’re a fairly heavy rider the Z2 should be stiff enough to help you plow straight through rock gardens.

change travel bomber z2

To test out the Rail damper’s adjustment I put the Z2’s compression dial to halfway. At that point the fork felt a bit firmer off the top but still compressed fairly easily and used almost all the travel. While the fork provides a sweeping damper adjustment, the Z2’s compression doesn’t increase as evenly as you might expect. I seemed to achieve a ‘middle’ setting by twisting the dial about 70% of the way to the firm end…to me that felt like the midpoint between open and firm modes. Every rider should be able to find a semi-firm setting that works for them, you just might have to twist that dial a bit further than expected.

When I switched the Bomber Z2 fully into its firm position, it became very firm! Riding singletrack in that setting I only used half the fork’s travel and it felt stiff going over every bump. The firm setting may be handy for road riding to the trailhead or climbing very smooth ups (fire roads or smoother!) but it’s definitely a harsh ride on technical trails.

change travel bomber z2

The 2020 Bomber Z2’s best quality is how smoothly it absorbs big and fast hits, as it seems to feel better the harder you push it. Pricier forks may offer better small-bump sensitivity and more adjustments to play with, but the Z2’s overall performance should be ample for any recreational rider. The Marzocchi Bomber Z2 sells for $499, and is available now in Matte Black (Gloss Red is coming soon).

Really good review on the fork! I just bought one to build up a hardtail. I could not find what rotor size the posts were designed to fit w/o adapters on the Marzocchi website…but…I found it here along with other good information! Nice Work!

Legendary Italian fork brand Marzocchi was brought back to life by Fox last year with the 36- and 40-derived Z1 and 58 forks. The Z2 matches elements of the excellent entry-level Fox 34 Rhythm with a fresh twist on classic Marzocchi tech and the results are great if you ignore the set-up instructions and dial it in yourself.

Fox and Marzocchi forks overview 2020 models, details and specification

Best mountain bike forks The best MTB flat pedal shoes RockShox forks overview Fox 36 Performance Elite Fork Review

Construction

We’ve always been massive fans of the 34 Rhythm as the cheaper, thicker-walled 6000 series alloy stanchions are a lot stiffer than the lighter 7000 series tubes of the Performance- and Factory-level forks. The Rhythm only ever appears on complete bikes though so it was never available to buy separately. Great news then that the structural topend-plus seals, air-spring and volume spacers of the Z2 are the same as the Rhythm. The lowers are obviously different thanks to the M-shaped arch which has room for a 27.5x2.8in or 29x2.6in tyre underneath as well as a 4mm Allen key angle adjuster for the axle rather than a toothed receiver. You get Fox’s 15QR lever though which is a definite plus compared to the awkward lever on the Z1. 160mm rather than 180mm rotor mounts are an odd choice for a hard-riding fork that can easily handle bigger MTB discs .

The Rail damper is an all-new take on Marzocchi’s classic ‘open-bath’ design, with no separation between generous amounts of damping oil and the air in the leg. The pistons sit directly against the stanchion rather than in a separate cartridge for a simple but very effective design. Service intervals are also extended considerably as the damping oil acts as a seal lubricant, too.

Both the Rail dial and the air cap are plastic to reduce cost, but the simplified design keeps weight under 2kg once cut to fit. You also get a recommended pressures sticker on the leg.

Performance

Unfortunately from first impressions, those recommended pressures are about 15 per cent lower than we’d suggest. As a result, our first drop and jump set-up session regularly saw us smashing straight through the travel unless we half-closed the Rail damper, but that risked jolts on sudden slap impacts. Given the very linear feel we took off the top cap expecting to find no volume spacers but it actually comes with two pre-fitted (plus two in the box). Fitting the third spacer stopped it blowing through travel as easily and meant we could run the recommended pressures but left it slightly numb. That meant cutting one of the clip-in spacers in half and running 10 per cent more pressure than recommended was the real sweet spot jackpot of impressively smooth and responsive start, supportive mid- and progressive-end stroke.

The Rail damper is impressive though. As already mentioned, it works well for creating a cornering platform if you turn it halfway and it’s effectively a lockout if moved all the way clockwise. Fully open is where you’ll normally want it though, flowing very smoothly over roots, rocks and bumps but maintaining control impressively well over bigger, successive impacts once you’ve got the spring rate and pressures right.

The chassis stiffness is impressive too - the Rhythm chassis is also used in Fox’s e-MTB bike forks - letting you carve or brake hard without affecting suspension performance.

Marzocchi Bomber Z2

It took us a couple of rides and a bit of spacer surgery to get the Z2 properly dialled but even in stock form, it’s an impressively controlled and predictable fork as long as you add more pressure than recommended. Once dialled though and it’ll happily chase down significantly more expensive Fox siblings or RockShox competition particularly where precision steering is key.

Value is also boosted by the long service intervals and while we’ve only had a few months on our sample, Rhythm’s have always been very reliable. The pricing makes it more competitive with RockShox’s Reba RL and cheaper than X-Fusion’s McQueen HLR too, although that gets a more adjustable and refined ‘Roughcut’ damper.

The Bomber: low on frills, high on thrills

marzocchi bomber z2

Product Overview

Overall rating:, marzocchi bomber z2, manufacturer:, price as reviewed:.

Not just a fork for old Bomber fans. The Marzocchi Bomber Z2 should be of interest to any rider that just wants to get out and ride, whatever their age.

>>> Best mountain bike suspension forks 2019

We reviewed the Marzocchi Bomber Z1 earlier this year and, while it was a decent enough fork (scoring 8/10), it felt like it was something of a missed opportunity. It was too clearly a cut-price dumbed-down version of a Fox 36 (Marzocchi’s new owners) with a poorly designed axle clamp. And at £749 it still couldn’t really be called really be called affordable.

If only Marzocchi had come out with the Bomber Z2 first. Now THIS is a fork that makes sense. It’s capable, stiff, offers good service interval times and a genuinely pleasing price tag. In other words, it’s very Marzocchi.

marzocchi bomber z2

It’s not pretending to be a fork for serial suspension tweakers or gram counters. It’s ‘just’ a fork for regular weekend warrior trail riders to slap into the front end of their mountain bikes and hit the trails without really having to give much of second thought to their fork’s set up or maintenance regime. More MTB products should be like this. Unashamedly aimed at the Average Joe.

Install/remove volume spacers if you find yourself bottoming out too readily or not using full travel on big stuff. Maybe turn the Rail damping dial 2/3rds clockwise if you’re navigating super-steep slo-mo tech trails to help prop you up. Or… just leave it alone. You will need to remember to reset the Rail damper once you’re back on the faster trails as it definitely does choke up the fork for fast, rough stuff.

marzocchi bomber z2

The Rail damping adjuster is plastic and has no indexing. Boo-hoo. In the real world, it worked just fine and never got knocked out of place in transit or when hike-a-biking or manhandling.

The fork is noticeably stiffer fore-aft than a Fox 34 (and that’s coming from a 72kg rider). The fork takes mid- and big sized hits truly excellently. No spiking, binding or unpredictable deflection. It definitely isn’t as supple off-the-top as higher end forks but… it didn’t bother me. I have soft fat rubber tyres on wide rims for that. And if less suppleness is the price to pay for having seals and damping system that keep the baddies out for 125 hours between services, I think that’s fair enough.

I’d actually rather have a Bomber Z2 than a more expensive Fox 34 due to its stiffer construction and the knock-on effect this lack of flex has on the fork’s predictability and consistency. Under braking or hard cornering, the Z2 leaves other 34 and 35mm stanchion forks found wanting. Sure, this is principally due to thicker wall 6000 alloy stanchions tubing but… it works. Heavier yes. But stiffer. And cheaper.

Downsides? It does look as cheap as it is. But after a while I kinda embraced the budget vibe. This is cheap stuff that works really, really well. I smile every time I look at this fork. It’s a proper Bomber.

MBA Product Test: Marzocchi Bomber Z2 Fork

Marzocchi bomber z2 fork.

With a bold product name like Bomber to live up to, Marzocchi has always had a history of durability. And now they’re back with the help of new owner Fox Shox ready to reclaim their reputation for products that can be used hard without worry. Marzocchi’s hallmark has always been to make bombproof equipment that simply works. Available at a competitive price of $499, we were excited to see if the new Bomber Z2 could be as good as the original.

Tech features: The 2020 Marzocchi Bomber Z2 isn’t a simple throwback. One of the few design features they do share is the classic M-shaped arch, which not only claims to increase lower leg stiffness, it also does a good job of increasing tire clearance while visually-enforcing the strong brand name. But the differences don’t stop there.

With the idea of set-it-and-forget-it, Marzocchi’s aim is to provide a low-cost fork that doesn’t require a lot of fiddling with adjustments. An all-new air-sprung damper called the Rail has been developed. There’s a rebound knob and low-speed compression knob to tune, but the motto “bring simple back” is Marzocchi’s mantra here.

Fans of nostalgia won’t find a 26-inch model. The new Z2 has been modernized to be available for 27.5×2.8- or 29×2.6-inch tire combos. Travel options range from cross-country to enduro with 34mm stanchions, and comes in 100, 120, 130, 140 and 150mm models, as well as 44mm and 51mm offset options. Marzocchi was also able to employ the smooth and secure action of the 15mm × 110mm quick-release axle design by Shimano.

Field test results: We chose to test the 150mm version, weighing in at 4.45 pounds (2018 grams), with aggressive riding on our agenda. With an all-new damper, we relied on Marzocchi’s recommended settings chart (printed on the back of the fork leg) and found it to be an accurate starting point. Suggesting appropriate air pressure for your weight, while also offering recommended rebound settings, was another nicety.

Right out of the box, initial sensitivity is good with very little stiction. On the trail, the Rail damper feels smooth and supple through the middle of its travel, and it does a great job of holding itself up in its travel during heavy braking. With minimal fork dive occurring, steering precision was predictable and controlled. “Flex” has never been a word used for a Marzocchi product, and the Z2 upholds that reputation.

Providing a supportive platform through mid-travel is where the Rail damper provided its most consistent performance. We found ourselves riding harder, and when features got bigger, that’s where our 150mm-travel version could really shine. The Rail damper’s ability to ramp up progressivity encouraged us to keep going bigger.

Most of the time we rode with the compression knob on Open, but we appreciated the ease of motion and its functionality. When rotating to Firm, the Z2 actually got firmer and performed as advertised. The rebound knob offers an extensive range of adjustability, providing for fine-tune adjustments.

With the Rail damper, Marzocchi’s reputation for “bomber” has returned in an affordable package that delivers the simple adjustments you really need. Simple is indeed back with the Bomber Z2, and it can be found in red or black at www.marzocchi.com .

Marzocchi Bomber Z2 RAIL

Marzocchi Bomber Z2 RAIL review

by Ben Haworth January 12, 2023 0

Let’s cut to the chase, this Marzocchi Bomber Z2 RAIL has a price tag that is affordable for a whole load more people than all of the other 140mm forks we’ve tested.

  • Price : £579
  • Options : 100mm, 120mm, 130mm, 140mm, 27.5in, 29in, 44mm offset, 51mm offset
  • Weight : 1,940g
  • From : Silverfish UK

Marzocchi Z2 RAIL

Heck, even if you’re a dentist you may just not feel like spending four figures on a fork for your bike. We understand that point of view perfectly. But what exactly are you missing out on when you get a ‘budget’ fork?

Initially, you’re missing out on unimportant things like aesthetics. The Z2 looks a bit… budget. You’re also missing out on nice-but-inessential things like indexed damping adjustment; the Rail compression adjust is a simple non-indexed ‘sweep’ thing.

Then, and possibly also unimportant to you, is the lack of ability to nerd out with ‘split’ damping (there’s one all-encompassing rebound adjuster and similarly one compression adjuster for all speeds, as opposed to separate high and low speed adjustments).

change travel bomber z2

As some of you may know, Marzocchi these days is essentially a different wing of the Fox suspension empire. This means there are some aspects shared between the two marques. In this case, the Marzocchi Bomber Z2 has the same EVOL air spring as the Fox 34 elsewhere in this test. This is a very good thing.

The damper is different (it’s not a GRIP2, not a FIT4) and so too is the general construction of the fork; the fork arch has a sort of M-shape to it and the 34mm stanchions are made from thicker walled aluminium. Sure, this adds to the overall weight but it also adds a bit of stiffness to the fork. In this sense, the Bomber Z2 is the better 34mm-legged option for heavier and/or more aggressive riders compared to the lighter yet more expensive Fox 34.

Speaking of expense, there’s an impressive lack of plastic used on the Z2, both on the inside as well as the outside.

Out on the trail the fork is excellent. It’s a pleasingly active fork with loads of traction offered. It deals with all sizes of impacts really well, from adding some comfy cush to the small stuff, through to not panicking when bottoming out or being thrown in at the deep end on really rough stuff. The Rail sweep compression adjuster is easy to use on-the-fly if you want to add a bit more support on slow-speed, steep nadgery terrain.

change travel bomber z2

The Marzocchi Bomber Z2 RAIL is not quite a £1000 Fox 34 but not so flipping far off either. Simple to set up. Enough adjustment for most folks. Fun and reassuring on the trail.

Less is More

The intuitive and updated Rail damper receives a pressure balanced tune and holds its own against higher end fork dampers, without the pricey bells and whistles. A simple sweep adjuster can lock out for the climbs, open up for the descents and easily adjust to every type of terrain in between.

Performance Where it Matters

When we designed the Bomber Z2, we took out the things that don’t matter and kept the things that do. That means fewer clicky dials, but all the on-trail performance of a stiff chassis and butter-smooth Rail damper, from top to bottom.

The Go Anywhere, Do (Pretty Much) Everything MTB Fork

The Bomber Z2 is built to get out the door and ride. No extensive setup procedure or inconvenient service schedules. Trail riding never felt this uncomplicated. Focus on what’s important — having fun on your bike.
