Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD Limited 2008
By David Motton Published: June 24, 2010
From Towcar Awards 2008 MPVS DON’T COME much bigger than this. The Grand Voyager is very grand indeed. You’d expect seven seats, but not so much leg- and head-room for each passenger. Most seven-seaters struggle for luggage space, but the Chrysler is much better than most. Set up to seat five, it had plenty of room for all our luggage, and that was without using the storage bins under the passengers’ feet.

Most seven-seaters struggle for luggage space, but the Chrysler is much better than most. Set up to seat five, it had plenty of room for all our luggage, and that was without using the storage bins under the passengers’ feet.
To drive, though, the Chrysler feels big and ponderous, and a van doesn’t help. The car laboured from 30-60mph in 19.9 seconds. It wasn’t comfortable in the lane-change test either. The biggest issue is the paltry towing limit. By rights, it’s heavy enough for a 1900kg van to be an 85% match, but owners are stuck with a legal limit of 1600kg.
Verdict 3/5: A great MPV, but disappointing as a towcar.
List price when tested: £32,995 Kerbweight: 2250kg 85% match: cannot tow 85% Max towing weight: 1600kg Towball limit: 80kg 30-60mph: 19.9 seconds 30-0mph: 13.5m

Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD Limited
Enjoying the enormous interior space of the grand voyager on a trip to ireland..
If only the Grand Voyager had been built 400 years ago, it would have been perfect for transporting men of the cloth in secrecy. While Chrysler has shouted reasonably loudly about its Stow and Go system offering the ultimate in seating flexibility, there's an added benefit which isn't made so clear. With the seats in use, there's a huge secret locker in the floor, offering some of the best security around for your valuables on the move. Alternatively, welcome to the only car on sale in the UK with an integral priest hole. The key to Stow and Go is a quintet of seats that can be folded flat into the floor, to save on pulled muscles; something that's guaranteed every time you try to remove a seat from an MPV. Opt for a conventional people carrier and to free up space you have to unhitch any of the rear seats and lift them out - something that's often much easier said than done. You've also got the added problem of not having the seats with you when you get to your destination - and you might want them on the way back. However, buy a Grand Voyager and all these issues become history.Purchase any Grand Voyager and Stow and Go is standard; there's not enough space in the shorter Voyager to offer the system. While the Grand Voyager is more costly than its smaller brother, it's worth the premium for the added space as well as the superbly flexible seating and generally higher equipment levels. As mentioned, the cubby holes in the floor into which the seats fold can also be used as spacious secret lockers for laptops and camera bags - as long as the seats aren't stowed of course. While Stow and Go works every bit as well as Chrysler claims, there are a couple of issues with the seating. The rearmost seats have no fore/aft adjustment, and with the middle row pushed forward as far as possible there's barely enough space for six-footers in the third row to be truly comfortable on a very long journey. Also, because the seats have to be low enough to fold into the floor, they aren't quite high enough for those in the second and third rows to get properly comfortable on a very long journey - even tall children may get rather fidgety. However, short of getting a minibus, the Grand Voyager must surely be the most spacious and flexible people carrier around, as it offers a decent amount of luggage space even with all the seats in use.Even with all seven seats occupied there's a claimed 750 litres of luggage space available. Drop the third row of seats and this rises to 1535 litres - and if you stow the middle line of chairs as well you've got an insane 4690 litres on offer. If that doesn't impress you, consider that the Renault Espace and Peugeot 807 have around 1500 litres less - and they're hardly tiddlers. With its 2.8-litre turbo diesel thrumming away up front, the Chrysler also hums along quite nicely, the standard four-speed auto box swapping ratios smoothly. The four-cylinder unit is pretty gruff when it's taken over 3000rpm though, and as the transmission changes down at the slightest sign of a bit of throttle, there's a good chance that you'll be in this territory more often than you'd think. While the car isn't swift as such, for so big a beast it's got a surprisingly decent turn of speed when you need it.To put the car through a proper test, five of us went to the west coast of Ireland for a week, with masses of luggage and a bike strapped to the back. Thinking that we'd probably need a roof box, the reality was that we had more space than we knew what to do with - accommodating two more adults would have been perfectly possible, if not especially comfortable for the 17-hour trip. With three sharing the driving, none of us found that the Chrysler was unwieldy, despite its generous proportions; even on narrow Irish lanes the car remained manageable.Something that the car didn't like so much was the undulating roads; being an American car the suspension is set too soft for European tastes. The result was a car that occasionally grounded, and wallowed about nearly as much as the ferry that took us across St George's Channel. However, English tarmac isn't so good at unsettling the car, although it can start pitching diagonally on unclassified roads - so if you live out in the sticks and you're going to travel fully laden you might want to take an extended test drive first. That's what the five of us did, covering 1600 miles in a week - and we discovered that you'd find it hard to buy a better all-round MPV. As for buying one with greater flexibility - no chance. Road Test: Chrysler Grand Voyager 2.8 CRD LX 5dr Auto
SPEC HIGHLIGHTS
It was more the way Chrysler's marketing lady said it, than the actual words she used when she was talking about the new Grand Voyager.
"We invented this market", sounds innocent enough, but there was just a hint of bitterness in her voice, a sense of exasperation that Chrysler invented the MPV, but has since seen Ford, Renault et al steal the vast majority of the sales.
Things should improve with this latest car. The 2.8-litre diesel engine is carried over but improved, and the 3.8-litre V6 petrol also remains.
But it's the diesel that's important, and is the one tested here. It is much quieter than the old one, but don't confuse that with class-leading. Above 3,000rpm there's still a lot of rattle, but in truth you don't need to take it over that point as there's no extra grunt up there.
The Voyager produces 161bhp and 266lb ft, but in a car that weighs 2,100kg that's scarcely adequate. Better to leave 20 minutes extra and not rush, because for that, the Voyager's fine. It's refined at motorway speeds and the ride now feels more controlled so you don't get all the awful suspension movement that used to afflict the last car. The handling and steering are still nothing to be proud of, but do the job adequately.
But this car is all about the interior, and for flexibility the Grand Voyager is as good as any. The clever Stow 'n' Go system is retained here, so all the rear seats fold easily into the floor.
A new system also appears called Swivel 'n' Go, where the two middle chairs swivel round and you can fit a table for the kids to play on. You can also spec twin DVD screens which can play separate DVDs. But at £1,750 (inc satnav), you might be better off just buying portable DVD players.
In terms of ease of access, the Grand Voyager has the Galaxy trumped because all models come with electric-opening sliding doors and boot.
But elsewhere it still can't quite match the Galaxy in terms of interior quality or diesel refinement. The Voyager feels more of a purpose-built MPV than the Ford, and its superior interior room means it will still attract followers, but I have a feeling that the Chrysler marketing lady will still be bitter about market share. Chrysler grand voyager (2008 – 2015) review.
Chrysler Grand Voyager (2008 – 2015) At A Glance
Proper, full-sized people carriers are becoming a rare thing, but the Chrysler Grand Voyager retains the old-school theory of MPVs - it's large, comfortable and immensely spacious. Of course, focussing on those strengths has its downsides, not least in terms of looks and handling, but the Chrysler Grand Voyager isn't designed to be thrown around corners - instead it's the perfect car for larger families.
The seven-seat Grand Voyager now sits in a small but definite market niche for plush, big people carriers. It's the sort of thing well-heeled families might buy instead of a 4x4 or a big estate. It's also aimed at chauffeur and private hire companies who employ cars like this use to flog around town or ferry business types from airports to hotels and conferences.
This version is much squarer and sharper than the previous model, but there are the familiar Chrysler styling touches including a large grill but while it's big, it manages not to look too bulky. Inside there's acres of space and you can easily fit in seven adults with decent room for all. Most models come with the 2.8 CRD diesel which is strong, if not especially refined.
But the Chrysler Grand Voyager really excels in terms of praticality. All the rear seats can be individually folded away into the floor and don't have to be removed like other MPVs such as the Renault Espace . This allows you to maximise either luggage or passenger space - or have a mix of both.
It's a shame that some of the interior looks a little low-rent, especially noticeable from behind the wheel where there are some rather flimsy switches - you'd expect more given the not inconsiderable price tag. But for the rear seating system alone, the Chrysler Grand Voyager is one of the best large MPVs around.

Reviews for Chrysler Grand Voyager (2008 – 2015)'s top 3 rivals
Ask Honest John
Seven seater advice, is the cam chain about to fail on my chrysler grand voyager, deposit paid, but car damaged by dealer - should i walk away, i've bought the wrong car - can i get a refund, inside of the chrysler grand voyager (2008 – 2015).
- Boot space is 756–3296 litres
The Grand Voyager is a good example of a well-thought out, family-friendly people carrier. The two rows of rear seats collapse directly into big floor recesses that have folding covers and work as storage areas when the seats are in place. Chrysler calls this system Stow ‘n Go and there are no other seating systems as easy to use or as useful on any other car.
As a result, you don't have to haul out hefty seats to create load space and folding the rear seats is a doddle too. With all the seats down, boot space increased to a huge 3296 litres and it's the ease and speed of the system that impresses.
All the seats can be slid forward and back while legroom is superb too - the second row offers 750mm while the rearmost seats boast 790mm. There's even underfloor storage areas. The third row is a little cramped with three side by side but it's far from claustrophobic and boot space is another strong point with 756 litres. Handily the back seats can also be reversed by flipping them over - useful if you want to have a picnic in comfort and under the cover of the tailgate. A Swivel 'n Go system, which features two swivelling captain's chairs in the second row, is available as a £750 option.
The driving environment is much better than the old model. It's still not perfect - some of the plastics feel a little brittle, it feels cramped and few people will be fans of the naff wood trim. There's also still no reach adjustment on the steering wheel and no rest for your left foot - annoying on long journeys.
And as for the way all this is built, well this car is an American consumer durable, which means there's a mild but tangible cheapness about some of the materials and elements of its detailing.
This doesn't make the Grand Voyager badly made, but the way it's screwed together doesn't have the classiness Audi or even Toyota owners might expect. A relatively high mileage driver who switched cars every three or four years probably wouldn't care, but anyone driving a Grand Voyager in the middle of the next decade might see it starting to fray a little at the edges.
Still, the car will have plenty of toys to take their minds off the odd wobbly bit of plastic. There are so many to mention but the tailgate is electric, as are the sliding rear side doors, which have the novelty of electric windows that go all the way down. Rear passengers can control their own climate and the various in car entertainment systems should keep the most fractious family entertained. The optional twin folding rear video screens can show different movies or games.

Which car seat will suit you?
Driving Chrysler Grand Voyager (2008 – 2015)
- Engines range from 2.8 CRD to 3.8 V6
- Readers report Real MPG to be between 24–33 mpg
The Grand Voyager comes with either a 2.8-litre CRD diesel engine or a 3.8-litre V6 petrol but as you'd imagine, the latter only accounts for a handful of cars. It's the CRD that most people choose as it offers relatively affordable running costs with an average fuel economy figure of 30.4mpg, compared to just 23mpg with the V6.
Both have a six-speed automatic gearbox (with a manual override) that works unobtrusively bar a very slight surging sensation around town. The engine is willing and provides plenty of low speed pulling power and punts the car along decently the rest of the time. It's a bit vocal under hard acceleration, but has that diesel knack of quietening right down on motorways. It will accelerate from 0-62mph in a respectable 12.8 seconds but be warned that CO2 emissions of 247g/km mean car tax won't be cheap.
On the road the Grand Voyager is capable and comfortable. It rides very well, steers accurately enough and doesn't roll too much, although with a full load of passengers and luggage on board, you won't relish country lanes. The sheer size of the Grand Voyager can make parking it a challenge too and although visibility is pretty good, tight manouevres can take a while. It's far happier on the motorway where it feels relaxed and smooth.
Chrysler has focussed on safety too. Hardly unsurprising given that the previous model has an appalling safety rating with just a one star crash safety rating from Euro NCAP. This model comes loaded with safety kit, including a plethora of anti lock-brake and traction control systems plus an array of airbags, including two big, side curtain bags. It's not been crash tested yet, but it should perform far better than its predecessor.
Chrysler Grand Voyager (2008 – 2015) Models and Specs
On sale until december 2017, on sale until october 2015, on sale until december 2012, on sale until november 2010.
- Large and comfortable with generous space for seven passengers.
- Excellent Stow & Go seats that fold flat into the floor.
- Well equipped as standard.
What to watch out for
Very heavy on brakes. On one reader's car t he front discs and pads needed replacing in the first 12 months at 15,800 miles, then needed changing again at 18 months and 28,000 miles together with the rear discs and pads.
In T.S.B. 17-003-11 issued on 22-11-2011, Chrysler said noise over bumps at low speeds was most likely to come from the rear shock absorbers. (Source: New York Times Automobiles.)
Corrosion problem on leading edge of bonnet. Seems that the paint is thin, stone chips allow moisture behind the paint and they suffer from bubbling. FIAT refuses to do anything about it, as outside the 3 year paint warranty.
Combined satnav, radio, DCD player and Bluetooth on 2009 Chrysler Grand Voyager failed. Dealer offered to fit an exchange unit for £425.
Not completely dead because it sometimes fires up. Will also power up then freeze with the controls (soft touch keys) still showing.

2011 Model Year Voyager introduced
It carries Chrysler’s new winged badge, but that’s not the only change made to the 2011 model year Grand Voyager. The latest in a long line of luxury people carriers – Chrysler invented the MPV in 1983 and has since sold more than 13 million examples – has been given a raft of enhancements for the model year change.
Most notable is the new, more premium looking front end, featuring a revised grille, bonnet and lower fascia. It’s the first Chrysler model to adopt the new winged badge. The seven-seater’s rear gets enhanced LED tail lamps, new rear bumper and revised tailgate.
There is also the new Stow ‘n Place roof rack system, standard on Touring and Limited models. Stow ‘n Place offers the added convenience of allowing the vehicle’s roof crossbars to be stowed longitudinally alongside the roof rails when not in use.
Inside, the new Grand Voyager has improved Stow ‘n Go seating. Since November 2004, Chrysler has led the market with this award-winning, never-copied, feature. For 2011, the new second row Stow ‘n Go seats are larger, more comfortable captain’s chairs, which feature a new ‘fold-into-the-floor’ one-touch mechanism. The system automatically drops the head rest and tumbles the seat forward, ready to be stowed – all with just one lever.
The interior of the 2011MY Grand Voyager also benefits from the introduction of new features. Specifically for the entry LX model, there’s a new leather wrapped steering wheel, steering wheel audio controls and cruise control as standard.
Touring models benefit from the addition of Uconnect Phone bluetooth connectivity with voice recognition, auto dimming rear view mirror, AM/FM/CD/DVD radio with a 6.5-inch touch screen, 30GB hard disk drive and rear reversing camera. Limited models also receive blind spot monitoring, crosspath detection and new Nappa leather upholstery.
All Grand Voyagers are powered by a 2.8-litre CRD diesel engine producing 161bhp at 3800rpm and 265lb ft of torque. This gives the people carrier a 0-62mph time of 12.8 seconds and a top speed of 115mph. Yet the car can return 33.6mpg (combined) fuel economy, and has a CO2 figure of 222g/km.

Maintenance schedule for Chrysler Voyager CRD 2.8, 2006 year, european RG serie
- Add to quote
Hello, I have a Chrysele Vojager CRD 2.8, turbo diesel, 2006 year. It's european version RG IV serie. I do not have the user manual and maintenance manual. Can someone send it me? Now, it is with 95000 km. I need the maintenance schedule. When I have to change oil ad filter engine, oil and filter automatic trasmission, transmission belt? Thanks
Hello, I found more manuals with more maitenance schedules. 6 schedules total. I'm interessing to "Change the automatic transmission fluid and filter". But I noticed that this type of maintenance is recomended only for police, taxi, limousine type operation, or trailer towin, at 100000 km and 200000 km, and only by one of 6 schedules. Nothing for other cases. I'm confusing. I believed this kind of maintenance was very important, but it seem not. These are 6 schedules: 1) schedule A (vehicle under no-stressed conditions) (10000 km steps); 2) schedule B (vehicle under stressed conditions) (5000 km steps); 3) schedule A export only (12000 km steps), 4) schedule B export only (5000 km steps), 5) schedule A diesel export only (20000 km steps), 6) schedule B diesel export only (10000 km steps). The maintenace of automatic transmission is mentionated by 2) schedule only.
That is the same in the US. Servicing the automatic transmission is not required under normal use. However, there’s no reason you can’t service it. Just be sure the proper ATF+4 fluid is used.
Welcome to Allpar. If it is 95000km and it brings peace-of-mind, fluid changes may increase component longevity. Fluids do age and 'wear-out'. I was going to suggest the oskin.ru Chrysler manual website for export (RG-body) information, scheduled maintenance and service procedures. Index of /pub/chrysler-dodge/manuals/Service Manuals/2005_RG_Town&Country_Caravan_Voyager_Diesel_Versions_Include (at http://oskin.ru/pub/chrysler-dodge/manuals/Service%20Manuals/2005_RG_Town&Country_Caravan_Voyager_Diesel_Versions_Include/ )
Thanks. In DIESEL EXPORT maintenance schedule, the steps for chance filter/oil engine are 20000 km. Is it a good choose? I read this: Changing and flushing automatic transmission fluid (at https://www.allpar.com/eek/atf.html ) In the middle paragraph: "Flushing the system: a more complete method", it shows how to change the fluid at all, from cooler line. Is it a good choose?
giurti said: Thanks. In DIESEL EXPORT maintenance schedule, the steps for chance filter/oil engine are 20000 km. Is it a good choose? Click to expand...
If you flush the transmission fluid, then the filter doesn’t get changed. If you drop the pan and change the filter, not all the fluid gets changed. The choice is yours.
I drop the pan and change the filter. But i do non sure if it need to flush the transmission fluid.
There is approximately 1 quart / 1 liter of fluid in the transmission cooler lines and assembly. If you disconnect the return line that carries fluid from the radiator cooler back to the transmission, it will get that amount purged. The cooler lines are oriented horizontally on the transmission. The port closest to the right front of the engine compartment is the return from the cooler to the transmission. Disconnect this line at transmission and direct into a catch container and run engine for about 30 seconds to flush the cooler assembly.
Generally if the fluid is burnt or contaminated, I will flush (transfusion) it out. The pan-down service manual procedure is the one I usually perform if it is only a matter of maintenance. Some customers have asked for both replacing the filter and that transfusion. so they get a new filter, clean pan and magnet and 100% new fluid. With the pan off, I can change the filter and check the chip magnet and the bottom of the pan for any warning signs of excessive wear or impending trouble. Slight wear and light silt on the magnet and on the pan bottom are normal and can be used as a baseline for the next time the pan comes off. Make sure that the old filter o-ring is removed. Many times it sticks inside the valvebody and will prevent the new filter from seating correctly. Check the torques on the valve body bolts as there are times when I have found these loosened up. RTV that can withstand ATF or a rubber pan gasket can be used to reassemble the pan to the transaxle. OEM parts are best to use. I have had issues with non-OEM parts. Cork gaskets are obsolete IMHO. As stated, only use ATF+4 or an ATF that meets Chrysler MS-9602.
The recommended diesel engine oil is discussed in the service manual on p. 0-6: http://oskin.ru/pub/chrysler-dodge/...oyager_Diesel_Versions_Include/2005-RG-SM.pdf Always read the label and select the proper oil: "Use only Diesel Engine Oil meeting standard MIL- 2104C or API Classification CD or higher or CCML D4, D5. To assure of properly formulated engine oils, it is recommended that SAE Grade 10W-40 engine oils that meet Chrysler material standard MS-6395, be used in accordance to ACEA B3, B4 specification. European Grade 10W-40 oils are also acceptable. Oils of the SAE 5W-40 grade number are preferred when minimum temperatures consistently fall below -15°C".

Thanks very all. I'm in Italy and temperatures are not extreme. I do 10000 km year average; most in summer. In winter, I park the car in garage (temperature > 6°C). Only few day I go to mountain for skiing. I'm getting convinced that 15000 km is a good choice for change oil engine. Shops that uses flushing machine inline with the transmission cooler are too expensive. These shops say they guarantee complete change of fluid, but your experience do not confirme it, rigth? I beleave I follow your advice. First, I use a cheap oli extractor pump,to aspirate oil from check dipstik seat, and refill it. After some weeks, I remove and clean pan, and refill fluid.

5W-30 seems a thin viscosity, even in cold weather. I would follow the recommendation of 10W-40 viscosity in temperate climates. I am unfamiliar with the ACEA European oil categories, but the information here helps to understand the oil differences: ACEA Engine Oil Specifications - oilspecifications.org (at https://www.oilspecifications.org/acea.php ) I do not see where Selenia Multipower C3 meets MIL-2104, but it does appear to satisfy API SM/CD (being rated a CF): https://extranetpli-eu.pli-petronas.com/dsp/pdf/eng/scat/1157_scat_eng.pdf I would only use the oil recommended in the manual to be safe.
I think that the website is considering only Chrysler gasoline engines. There is no mention of diesel engines. Are Lubrita oils available in your area? http://www.lubrita.com/uploads/brosiuros/04-Lubrita_Commercial_Vehicle_Broshure_new.pdf http://www.lubrita.com/uploads/Prod...ta_DEO_HPX_10W-40_TDS_updated_28072014_En.pdf http://www.lubrita.com/uploads/Products/product_339/TDS_Lubrita_DEO_EHPX_LD_10W-40_En.pdf http://www.lubrita.com/uploads/Products/product_341/TDS_Lubrita_DEO_UHPX_ECO_10W-40_En.pdf
Thanks very much, You are very help for me, here and in other threads. I have seen lubrita sheets, but I do not find MS-6395 nowhere. This is ths MS-6395 standard specification: Motor Oil: Certification: MS-6395 Requirements | Jeep Off Road Adventures (at http://jeepoffroadadventures.com/wp/?page_id=801 ) You can see it mentions 0W20, 5W20, 5W30, 10W30 only, never 10W40 or 5W40. How is it possible that mantenance manual recommends 10W40 and MS-6395, but 10W40 is not mention in MS-6395 standard?
The MS-6395 is just one of the standards. If it meets any of the other standards listed (MIL, API, CCML or ACEA), then it should be OK to use in your diesel engine. I think that the 5W-30 you are using for oil now is too thin a viscosity for summer. A 10W-40 would be better, especially in the warmer weather. I have read some threads on 'Bob the oil guy' for guidance on what lubricants to use. It can be confusing with all the different standards and personal preferences for motor oils. I always strive to accommodate the vehicle manufacturer recommendations. The internet has a lot of information on motor oil and HDEO for diesel applications. A lot depends on what is available to you locally that would satisfy the recommended oil qualities in your service/owners manual. The label on the oil bottle should give certain information about the contents. An ACEA (B3, B4) specification might be the easiest to go by: ACEA Engine Oil Specifications - oilspecifications.org (at https://www.oilspecifications.org/acea.php )

AllanC said: I agree that 15000 km is a proper oil change interval for your driving situation. As mentioned previously follow the service manual specifications for European diesel engine oil standards, ACEA. You are correct. No repair shop can guarantee complete change of fluid. Once the pan is dropped, simply wipe it out.

Don’t run it without fluid. You will damage it.
Thanks Can I move the selector lever to set gear to each position without start engine?
Thanks. I completed first step. I extracted fluid by means of a pump. It was very easy. I extracted 4.5 liters, and I have inserted only 4 liters (I believe that previous fluid was too full). I did not start the engine; I did move lever to set gear to each position. As soon as I find some time, I will observe better the fluid to feel if it is degraded and if there are some iron residue. Now I'm going to do some kilometers (I believe 1000 Km, do you think it's enough?) and after I will do second step: drop the pan. To avoid to dirty all with fluid that drop from the pan, I will extract the fluid by means of the pump and after I will drop the pan. I have only 4 liters of new fluid. In the case I will have to put more of 4 liters of fluid, I'm in doubt if buy other 1 liter, or if I will reuse some of extracted fluid to fill correct level. Rather, I have another doubt. I did change engine oil and filter also. I did fill 5 liters of new oil, but the maintenance manual shows 6 liters. (at moment I did not misure how many liters extracted) The filter size seems the same. I have a boubt about procedure: I unscrewed the oil cap, I droped the oil, I screwed the oil cap, and, only after, I removed oil filter. Maybe, is the correct procedure that to remove the filter before to screw the oil cap?

A short drive tru every gear incl reverse is enough to mix the new oil with old. No need to drive any longer. - Engine oil, this thing uses HDEO, or hevy duty Engine oil. Its the same oil that big rig diesels use, usually cheap but can be problematic to find in smaller pacages and with a cold rating below 10w. - find a Place that services/ sells trucks, tractors, excavators or so and its easily avail there. If temps usually are over 0 degC you can use a 15w-40, i live in sweden were it can get down into -25dC and a 10w-40 HDEO doesent give me any problem.
Hello. What power steering fluid can I use on my chrysler voyager (crd 2.8 diesel , 2006 year)? There is a mopar dedicated oil? Can I use others brands oil?

More about chrysler grand voyager.
The Grand Voyager is a luxury minivan produced between 1984 and 2016. Once upon a time the Voyager was a family favourite in South Africa. Its last appearance was made in the form of the fifth generation luxury MPV, produced from 2008 until 2015. The Chrysler people mover paid close attention, as from research, to what people required inside the vehicle as opposed to the exterior looks. The last generation Voyager had 30 new or improved features with a focus on space, stowage, luxury, versatility and safety. The fifth generation was simplified to have only two trim levels, LX and Limited. It came with a new six-speed automatic transmission that was standard on the 2.8-litre turbo diesel and the 3.8-litre V6 petrol engines.
