Another nearest airport to Hampi is in Bengaluru, which has air connectivity from all parts of India. The airport approximately 350 km from Hampi and can be reached in a journey of six and a half hours. Q. When should I plan my trip to Kerala? A. Kerala being one of the most popular destinations in the south has something to offer all year round. However, the tourist season in Kerala starts from September and continues till April. The peak season is when the weather is slightly cooler and dry from December through February. If you are looking for Ayurveda treatments, monsoon is the best time to receive the therapeutic treatments. The cool, moist and crisp atmosphere helps the body open up its pores and, making it receptive to herbal oils and therapies. The rainy season is also an excellent time to find good hotel deals from May to September. Also, plan your trip when the state celebrates its festivals, June-September for snake boat races,  the state festival Onam between August to September, and elephant festivals ranging from January to May. Q. Is there a dress code to enter temples in South India? A. Temples like Padmanabhaswamy Temple have a strict dress code where men need to wear mundu or dhoti and should not wear shirts of any kind. Women need to wear a sari, churidar or a South Indian half sari. Tirupati Temple advises wearing traditional clothes or proper attire. In most cases, men can enter with a pant-trouser outfit and just can just put a dhoti over their trousers where required for the visit. Children are also expected to wear fully-covered clothes. Q. Which are the popular honeymoon destinations in South India? A. The hills of Ooty and Kodaikanal in Tamil Nadu, the jungles of Coorg in Karnataka and Thekkady in Kerala, the backwaters of Alleppey and Kumarakom or the tea town of Munnar in Kerala are some of the most romantic destinations for a newly married couple. These are mostly hilly destinations with scenic beauty and peaceful surrounding providing the much-needed solitude. Q. Are cameras allowed inside the temples in South India? A. Most temples in South India don’t allow cameras inside its premise although cell phones are allowed. Bigger and sacred temples like Padmanabhaswamy Temple in Kerala, Tirupati Temple in Andhra Pradesh and Meenakshi Temple in Tamil Nadu does not allow entry of camera inside its premises. You can, however, click the temples from outside. However, historical ruins such as Hampi and Mahabalipuram doesn’t restrict visitors from photography inside its temples. Q. Will language be a barrier if I travel to South India? A. You can easily communicate in English in most tourist places in South India. Hindi is also understood and spoken in Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, Cochin and almost all important tourist destinations in the south. However, people in traditional villages and small towns may not speak or understand other than their native language. Q. Can I club my visit to Mahabalipuram and Pondicherry? A. Most tourists club Pondicherry and Mahabalipuram during their trip to Tamil Nadu because both are located close to each other about 96 km away, which is a two hour’s journey. You can arrive in Chennai and travel to Pondicherry from Chennai via the East Coast Road (ECR). En route, you can halt for sightseeing in Mahabalipuram followed by an overnight stay. The next day you can head to Pondicherry. Q. How to pack for my South India tour? A. Temperature is much warmer in South India. Pack comfortable footwear such as a slip-on, light cotton clothes, hats, sunscreen, etc. If visiting the hill stations, get warm clothes. Bring decent and conservative clothes for temple visits. Q. Is it safe for a woman to travel solo in South India? A. South India is a very safe place for women tourists. After lunch, your exciting boat safari will begin. In this haven of wildlife, cruising would be the perfect way to explore nature. Although it is difficult to spot tigers, you might still see families of elephants, wild boars, and sambar deer by the water's edge.

In the morning, you will be driven to Kumarakom (3 hours).

Kumarakom is listed by National Geographic as one of the "50 must-see places in one's lifetime". Hop on board a houseboat and start a wonderful boat ride. Relax as you bathe in the warmth of the setting sun, feel the caress of the breeze, groove with the rhythm of the palm trees ashore, and regain your inner peace.

Enjoy a refreshing breakfast, then head to Kottayam. You will pass cardamom plantations on the way. Later, set sail to Alleppey, where you will spend a leisurely 3 hours cruising on the backwaters. You can get a glimpse of the simple life led by the local villagers. You may get the chance to see their traditional techniques of coir-making, extracting toddy from the palm tree, and fishing along the riverside. Enjoy the pleasant and tranquil ride.

At the end of the memorable cruise, head to Mararikulam and check in to the Marari Beach Resort.

In the morning, you will depart for Cochin from Mararikulam (1 hour). Start your day tour in the Church of Saint Francis, which was the first European church ever built in India. The famous Portuguese navigator Vasco da Gama was laid to rest there in 1524 until his remains were removed and taken back home. Move on to the neighboring Mattancherry Palace. The building combines European and Keralan styles, and you will be astonished by the well-preserved colorful Hindu murals in the royal bedchamber.

As your trip goes on, you will come across some Chinese fishing nets suspended in mid-air, alongside the seacoast. They are evidence of the strong relationship between ancient Chinese emperors and the kings of Cochin. You won't find these nets anywhere other than in China and Cochin.

At night, be entranced by an amazing Kathakali performance. This classical Kerala dance vividly displays Indian myths and legends to the audience. Be amazed by their elaborate makeup and costumes and their unique hand motions.

Day 01: Chennai

Arrive in Chennai and check into your hotel. After that Spend your day in local sightseeing of Chennai city, where you can visit the Santhome Cathedral, Birla Planetarium, Elliot Beach, Valluvar Kottam, National Art and Government Museum, Anna Zoological Park, Kalakshetra, and the Theosophical Society. Overnight stay at  GRT Grande.

One of the best places to begin your journey, Chennai is the capital of Tamil Nadu and the sixth largest city in India. It’s one of the top tourist places in South India and the primary gateway for your South India trip. Formerly known as Madras, Chennai is a beautiful mix of the old and the young. Witness to a lot of historical kingdoms, today it’s a contemporary city with all amenities. If you’ve already covered the museums and temples, you can check out Marina Beach - the world’s second-longest city beach. Chennai is one of the best South tourist places and has several museums, zoos, and monuments.

Day 02: Mahabalipuram

Day two of the South India tour starts after breakfast. Then drive to Mahabalipuram, the world heritage site famous for the monolith temples dating back centuries. Also visit Kanchipuram, the city of temples enroute. Reach Mahabalipuram to have an overnight stay at  Grand Bay.

The first major destination in the package is Mahabalipuram, one of the best tourist destinations in South India, famous for its edifices of Dravidian art and architecture. The guided tour of the rock-cut temples built by the Kings of the Pallava Dynasty and other attractions of the region over two days will be a beautiful start to your South India trip. It’s one of the famous spots on the South India tourist map.

Day 03: Mahabalipuram

Day three of the South India holiday Package starts after breakfast. Spend the whole day on the sightseeing tour of Mahabalipuram visiting the shore temple, Arjuna's Penance, Krishna Mandapam, Five Rathas, and the beach. Overnight stay at hotel  Grand Bay.

There are a lot of sightseeing spots in Mahabalipuram. One of the primary attractions is of course the Shore Temple, an 8th-century temple by the sea. You can also check out some other important monuments such as the Five Rathas and Arjuna’s Penance. A tour of the UNESCO World Heritage group of monuments is also a must. You can also relax on the beach if you want.

Day 04: Pondicherry

Day four of South India Travel starts after breakfast. Then drive to Pondicherry, which covers an area of 480 sq. km. consisting of the four coastal regions of Pondicherry, Karaikal, Yanam, and Mahe. These were former French possessions situated on the eastern coast. Visit:- Sree Aurobindo Ashram- The world famous Sree Aurobindo Ashram is situated here. Raj Nivas- The official residence of the Lieutenant Governor, now known as Raj Nivas, is a true specimen of the fusion of Indian and French cultures. The main building is 200 years old. The interiors, the sitting rooms, and the enclosing galleries have wooden furnishings which have a French base with Indian-style caving. Overnight at  Hotel Atithi.

The next leg of the tour takes guests to the beach destination Pondicherry, the erstwhile French Colony of the region, which is a confluence of rich culture and grand architecture. Pondicherry is one of the best places to see in South India and you’ll get to savor the colonial ambiance combined with the rich Tamil culture while being engaged in Katamaran (fishing-raft) rides, fishing, swimming, and sightseeing.

Day 05: Kumbakonam

Day five of the South India tour starts after breakfast. Kumbakonam is a sacred spot known for its 4 large great temples dedicated to, 1) Sarangapani 2) Kumbeswarar 3) Brahma and 4) Nageswarar. Around Kumbakonam, there are all the Navagraha Temples (Planetary Temples). Visit temples and stay overnight at Mantra Koodam.

Kumbakonam, your next stop is a whirlwind collection of wonderful temples that’ll take you back to the time of the earliest dynasties of the South. It also has two World-Heritage listed temples and can be a peaceful addition to your South India Travel. You can move ahead to Tanjore, the erstwhile capital of the majestic Chola Empire. It’s a heritage city echoing the might and grandeur of Chola architectural styles and culture.

Day 06: Kumbakonam

Today Morning after breakfast visit temples. Stay overnight at  Mantra Koodam. A village walk with a village temple visit and a village school visit is complimentary. A peeping into a village house seeing the hutment and trying out a kolam in a village house by guests would be memorable experiences. A bullock cart ride around the village and a cooking demonstration on the property would also be something the guests would cherish.

The next day, you can check out some of the beautiful temples of Kumbakonam such as the Kumbeswara Temple, Sarangapani Temple, Chakrapani Temple, and the Ramaswamy Temple.

Day 07: Tanjore

Today Morning after breakfast proceeds to Tanjore. (Tanjore was once the capital of the Cholas, a destiny of temple builders who ruled south India between the 10th and 14th centuries). On arrival check-in at the hotel. Afternoon visit Sri Brahadeeswara Temple and Art Gallery. Evening free to relax and Stay overnight at  Hotel Svatma.

Your next leg of the trip involves visiting another historic town - Tanjore. Also known as Thanjavur, it’s the ancient capital of the Chola kingdom. You can witness the grandeur of the Chola temple here. One of the best examples is the Brihadeeswara Temple, one of the most magnificent pieces of Chola architecture. Other things to see here are Airavatesvara Temple, Thanjavur Royal Palace, and Gangaikonda Temple.

Day 08: Madurai

Drive to Madurai in Tamilnadu, one of South India's greatest temple towns. Madurai has a rich cultural heritage passed on from the great Tamil era which is more than 2500 years old. In the evening, visit the Meenakshi Temple to attend the popular evening ceremony where the Hindu God Siva is taken in a palanquin. Overnight at hotel  GRT.

Madurai is one of the top tourist places in South India. It was home to the Pandya dynasty and now consists of several historic temples. One of the most popular temples is the Meenakshi Amman Temple. Other renowned places are Koodal Alagar Temple, Thiruparankundram, Thirumalai Nayak Palace, Gandhi Museum, etc.

Day 09: Periyar

Today morning you can go to see the rare species of plantations and animals. Afternoon visit spice plantations like cardamom, Pepper, Coffee, tea estate, etc… On the way back to Hotel you could stop at the local market and pick up some fragrant spices. Overnight stay at hotel  Abad.

In the next leg of your journey, you move from temples to wildlife. One of the best holiday destinations in South India, Periyar is a wildlife enthusiast’s paradise. It’s located in Thekkady and is set in the lofty Western Ghats. In the olden days, it used to be the hunting ground for Travancore kings.

Day 10: Periyar

Periyar is home to some prolific species of fauna. Some of the animals you can expect to see here are the Sambar, Gaur, Barking Deer, the tiger, and the Nilgiri Langur. You can also witness the beautiful Periyar Lake. A safari in the tropical forests of Periyar is sure to feed your wild side.

Day 11: Alleppey

The evening goes shopping. Overnight at  Hotel Casino.

In the final leg of the journey, you’ll be a part of the cosmopolitan culture of Cochin and an intermingling of the ancient and the contemporary. Here you will get to experience some of the oldest colonial houses, palaces, and the famous Chinese fishing nets.

Day 13: Cochin

• 4. Only extra Mattress will be provided to the third person in triple sharing accommodation.

However, proportionate refund of fare will be allowed in case of no alternate arrangement is made. During the course of operation of tour, if any sightseeing places are missed on account of sudden unforeseen happenings, the KSTDC is not responsible.

• 3.Tickets are not transferable.
• 4.Management is not responsible for luggage/baggage and Personal belongings of the tourists.
• 5.Tourists are requested to take personal care about their Luggage/Belongings.
• 6.The management reserves the right to cancel the trip in case the numbers of seats booked are less than 15 and for any such other reasons.
• 7.The ticket is valid for the particular journey to which it is issued.
• 8.Children above the age of 5 years will be charged full fare. No seats will be given to children below 5 years. (Age proof Required)
• 9.Passengers are requested to report 15 minutes in advance. The bus will not wait for passenger who arrives late.
• 10.Smoking and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited in the coach.
• 11.Purchasing articles from other than Govt. shops is at their own risk.
• 12.The Corporation shall neither be responsible nor refund the amount in case the tourists miss the bus on account of late reporting to the pickup point.
• 13.Tipping the staff including the Guide is strictly prohibited. They are paid by KSTDC except for BHS trip.
• 14.Pets and Animals not allowed inside the bus while on Journey.
• 15.The management has all the right to make the passengers to get down from the bus, who are travelling on invalid tickets, disturbing the co-passengers & drunken passengers, without any refund.
• 16.No postponement of journey will be made within 24 hours. There is no refund on cancellation of one time Preponed/Postponed ticket.
• 17.Tariff is subject to change without notice.
• 18.Accommodation is subject to availability of the rooms and they are subject to change without prior notice.
• 19.Senior Citizens are provided with 20% discount on transportation by default while booking ticket. Hence they must produce valid proof.
• 20.The management shall not be liable for third party suppliers including arrangements with accommodation providers, activity providers and local guides and other independent parties (Third party suppliers) to provide you with some or all the components of your bookings.
• 21.The management shall not be liable and will not assume responsibility for any claims, losses, damages, costs or expenses arising out of inconvenience, loss of enjoyment, upset, disappointed, distress or frustration, whether physical or mental, resulting from the act or omission of any party other than Tour Operator and its employees.
• 22.The management resources all the right to update or alter their terms and condition at any time, and will post the amended terms and condition in the tour package.
• 24.The package tour tariff includes only accommodation and transportation costs, the other charges like food, entrance tickets, etc.. should be borne by tourists themselves.

• Cancellation from the proposed time of departure before 48 hours – 10% – before 24 hrs. – 25% deducted. within 24 hrs. – No refund or cancellation

• Piligrims are mandatory to produce either the vaccination certificate(2doses) or Covid-19 negative certificate obtained with in 73hrs prior to date of darshan at the time of availing special entry darshan.
• Piligrims to be noted that due to the new guidelines imposed from Tirupathi Tirumala Darshana there will be no cancellations or any modifications allowed before 7 days of departure.
• Piligrims to be noted that the data of the tickets booked for Tirupathi darshana is pushed to Tirumala Tirupathi Devastham(TTD) server 7 days in advance before the date of journey, there will be no any modifcations/ cancellations allowed for any unforeseen circumstances (like sudden death of family member, any accidentalissues , etc..)
• Rule of Cancellation : Cancellation from the proposed date before 7 days of departure10% cancellation charges is applicable. No cancellations or any modifications allowed before 7 days of departure.
• Cancellation from the proposed date before 7 days of departure at 10pm, cancellation charges of 10% would applicable as per cancellation policy.

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Thanjavur. On arrival check-in at hotel. Afternoon we will visit Brihadeshwara Fort & Temple, which is a Chola architectural marvel. This is also listed in the world heritage. Also, you will visit Thanjavur Palace & Museum, which houses a library, museum and art gallery. Overnight stay at hotel.

Tanjore - Trichy - Madurai

Breakfast at the hotel and drive to Madurai. Enroute visit Trichy. Trichy was the citadel of the Chola dynasty in the medieval period. In the 18th century it witnessed the Carnatic wars fought between the French and the English. Lord Robert Clive's house is still there to see and so is the Danish Church. The Rock-Fort is the landmark of Trichy. A climb of 434 steps leads to the ancient temple of Ganapati on top and a further climb to a Shiva temple. Later continue to Madurai. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Madurai - Periyar

After breakfast visit the great Meenakshi Temple dedicated to the consort of Lord Shiva with its towering gopurams (rising high above the surrounding country side) visit the Thirumalai Nayak Palace - A gracious building in the Indo Saracenic style, famous for the Stucco work on its domes & arches. Later drive to Periyar. On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at hotel.

Thekkady (Periyar) - Kumarakom

After Breakfast enjoy the boat ride in Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary to view the wildlife. The boat ride in the lake is delightful way of spotting Elephant and Avifauna, for which the park is well known. Afternoon drive to Kumarakom. Overnight stay at hotel.

Kumarkom - Alleppey (27 kms)

Enjoy the magic of backwater by going on a Houseboat (Kettuvallam) cruise across the backwaters. Spend the next 22 hours in your floating villa. Enjoy the backwaters of Kerala by getting a glimpse of the village life at close quarters; a unique and unforgettable experience. Enjoy the sunset & stay overnight on the houseboat. Breakfast, lunch and dinner included.

Alleppey - Kochi - Chennai

After breakfast drive to Cochin. On arrival at Cochin proceed for city tour of Cochin visit to Fort Cochin, Santa Cruz Basilica, Dutch Palace (Closed on Friday and Sunday, opening time 9:30 am to 4:00 pm) at Mattancherry, St. Francis Church and Chinese fishing nets. Later drop you at airport to connect flight for Chennai.

South India Temple Tour Itinerary Package

Day 1 : Arrival in Chennai

Your 12 days of south India temple tour will commence upon your arrival in Chennai. You will be greeted by our tour representative who will get you checked in to your hotel for relaxation, dinner followed by an overnight stay.

Day 2 : Chennai – Tirupati – Chennai

After having your breakfast at the hotel in the morning you will be made to head out to the temple tour destination of the day, Tirupati. Tirupati is an ancient holy Hindu town located in Andhra Pradesh which is about 3 to 4 hours of drive away. The town is considered so holy that it receives almost 1 lakh visitors and devotees on a daily basis. On reaching Tirupati you will be taken to some of the most famous temples in Tirupati which will include – Sri Padmavathi Temple at Tiruchanoor, Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Srinivasa Mangapuram, Govindaraja Swamy Temple, Kapila Teertham, Sri Kodandaramaswami Temple, Sri Kalahasteeswara Temple at Srikalahasti and Sri Kalyana Venkateswara Swamy Temple at Narayanavanam. After the completion of temple Darshan and offering your prayer you will be driven back to your hotel in Chennai to get ready for the next day and an overnight stay.

Day 3 : Chennai – Kanchipuram – Mamallapuram

Today, after breakfast, early in the morning you will be made to head for your next destination to Mahabalipuram which is also known as Mamallapuram with a quick stopover at Kanchipuram en route. Did you know that Kanchipuram is also known as the city of 1000 temples? On Reaching Kanchipuram you will be taken around so that you get the importance and vibrancy that this place has to offer. Kanchipuram is one of the holiest places in India which has also served as the capital of the cholas during the 2nd century. After some sightseeing around you will be finally headed to Mahabalipuram. On reaching you will be first checked in to your hotel before starting the sightseeing. After freshening up you will be taken for sightseeing to Krishna Mandapam and the iconic shore temples of the 2nd century. The shore temple is a must visit in Mahabalipuram which is located right on the shore of Arabian Sea and displays the Dravidian architecture in its complete glory. Finally after the sightseeing, by sundown you will be made to head back to your hotel in Mamallapuram for an overnight stay.

Day 4 : Mamallapuram – Tiruvannamalai – Pondicherry

Early in the morning, post breakfast, you will be headed to Pondicherry with a small stopover in Tiruvannamalai for a brief excursion. The entire journey from Mamallapuram to Pondicherry is about 5 to 6 hours of drive by road. On the way you will be taken for an excursion to Tiruvannamalai. Tiruvannamalai is another one of the holiest towns in Tamil Nadu and its name literally translates into Red Mountain, inspired by the volcano mountain located right behind it. This holy town is also an ancient heritage site which is also the hub of Saiva religion. You will be taken to Arunachal hill temple which is dedicated to Lord Shiva and was built during the 9th century. Finally you will be driven to Pondicherry or Puducherry where on arrival you will be immediately checked in to your hotel where you will be staying for the night.

Day 5 : Pondicherry Sightseeing

This day in Pondicherry will be reserved for a full day of sightseeing excursion. After having breakfast in the morning you will be taken for an assisted full day of Pondicherry sightseeing to some of the most popular locations.

Sri Aurobindo ashram will be your first destination. Established in 1926, this has to be one of the most unique and extremely popular ashrams dedicated to the iconic sage, saint, philosopher and thinker Sri Aurobindo. Your next destination will be the Pondicherry museum which will shed light on the history this small, quaint town has been through. The building of the museum belonged to an ex French administrator and displays various rare sculptures and other stuff made from precious and semi-precious stones like beads, necklaces, temple lamps and so much more. Church of the sacred heart Jesus will be the next place of interest on the list. Your Pondicherry experience remains incomplete without an interesting visit to the church. This 17th century church is one of Pondi’s finest churches and a must visit. You will end your list of places by a final visit to Manakula Vinayagar Koil Temple which is a 300 year old temple dedicated to lord Ganesh and boasts of golden spire on top.

Finally you will be taken back to your hotel in Pondi for an overnight stay.

Day 6 : Pondicherry – Chidambaram – Thanjavur

After breakfast in the morning you will be made to head on to your next destination of Thanjavur or initially known as Tanjor which is about 5 hours of road journey away. En route you will be stopping over at Chidambaram which is dedicated to Lord Nataraja and is one of the rare places that houses and enshrines both idols of Lord Shiva and Vishnu under the same roof. It is also rare for being the temple that is solely dedicated to the dance form of Bharatnatyam and also where Lord Shiva is shown in the form of an idol rather than the customary lingam. Spreading out over an area of about 40 acres with towering gopurams on either sides, separated by 5 Sabhas is not just a holy land but is also an inspiring destination for devotees.

Finally you will be made to head on to your final destination in Thanjavur where you will be checked in to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Day 7 : Thanjavur – Tiruchirappalli (Trichy)

Early in the morning after breakfast you will be checked out of your hotel and headed for your complete sightseeing of the famous sightseeing locations in Thanjavur. This will include visits to places like Brihadeshwara Temple – a UNESCO world heritage site, Great living Chola temples – another interesting UNESCO world heritage site. By afternoon you will be headed on to Trichy. On arrival in Trichy you will be checked in to your hotel. The remainder of the evening will be free for you to spend in leisure followed by an overnight stay.

Day 8 : Trichy Temple Tour – Madurai

Early in the morning, post breakfast, you will be checked out of your hotel and made to head for your next destination of Madurai. Before leaving for Madurai you will be taken for a temple tour of Trichy city. Firstly you will be taken to the holy island temple town of Srirangam. This holy island is over 600 acres wide across the 7 gigantic walls of Srirangam Temple. It is famous for housing over 22 different gopurams with one of them making it to the Guinness world record for being the tallest Gopuram in the world. Your next location will be the famous landmark of Trichy, the fort. The rock in the fort is the oldest piece of rock in the world with the main attraction being a small temple within the fort too. Finally you will be headed to Madurai where on reaching you shall be checked in to your hotel here for an overnight stay.

Day 9 : Madurai Sightseeing

A full day of temple hopping in Madurai will begin early in the morning, post breakfast. Madurai is another holy city that resides just next to the holy river Vaigai. The place boasts of a great cultural heritage and a very strong background of mythological accounts. The city was constructed by the pandya kings in the shape of a lotus which has also earned its name of being the lotus city. These sightseeing will include visit to places like Meenakshi Amman Temple, Thirumalai Nayakar Mahal, Vaigai Dam, Alagar Kovil and Koodal Azhagar Temple. After a full day of exploring the temples in the holy town of Madurai and shopping for souvenirs, you will be taken back to your hotel in Madurai for an overnight stay.

Day 10 : Madurai – Kanyakumari

After having your breakfast in the morning and having checked out of your hotel in Madurai you will be headed to your next destination of the shore city of Kanyakumari. This road journey will be about 4 to 5 hours long. On reaching Kanyakumari you will be taken for a sightseeing expedition before checking into your hotel. This half day of sightseeing will include visit to places like: Swami Vivekananda’s memorial which is built in a small rocky island which is just 200 meters away from the shore; Kumari Amman Temple – the temple is situated near the seashore and as per mythology goddess Devi is said to have performed intense prayers in order to get the hand of the lord in marriage to her and Thiruvallur statue. Finally you will be checked in to your hotel in Kanyakumari for an overnight stay.

Day 11 : Kanyakumari – Trivandrum

After having your breakfast in the morning you will be taken to Trivandrum which is about 3 to 4 hours away from Kanyakumari. You will be reaching Trivandrum by afternoon and immediately checked in to your hotel. After freshening up a little bit you will be taken for some sightseeing in Trivandrum. This will include visits to places like Padmanabha Swamy Temple which is famous for being the wealthiest temple in the world and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. This will be followed by a visit to Napier museum which is a 19th century monument and displays a rare and unique collection of carvings and murals. Finally you will be headed to your hotel in Trivandrum where you will be checked in and stay for the night.

Day 12 : Trivandrum Departure

Post breakfast in the morning you will be checked out of your hotel and made to depart for your point of departure. The drop off at the place of departure like airport or railway station will mark the end of your 12 days and 11 nights of South India Temple Tour Package .
