Maruti Suzuki has introduced the updated Wagon R for the fleet market, known as the Tour H3. The new version is available in two variants, including petrol and CNG, priced at Rs 5.39 lakh and Rs 6.34 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Under the hood, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Tour H3 is powered by a 1.0-litre, three-cylinder, K10C petrol engine that produces 64bhp at 5,500pm and 89Nm of torque at 3,500rpm. Also on offer is a CNG variant that is tuned to produce 56bhp at 5,300rpm and 82Nm of torque at 3,400rpm. Both variants are paired to a five-speed manual transmission. The petrol and CNG variants are claimed to return a fuel efficiency of 25.40kmpl and 34.73kmpl, respectively.

In terms of features, the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Tour H3 CNG gets additional equipment in the form of a rear parcel tray but misses out on the idle start-stop system from its petrol counterpart. A few other notable features of the range include dual airbags, ABS with EBD, rear parking sensors, a speed alert system, body coloured bumpers, wheel caps, dual-tone interiors, and front power windows. Customers can choose from two colours including Superior White and Silky Silver.

Maruti Suzuki has launched the fleet version of the updated Wagon-R in the Indian market, with petrol and CNG powertrain options on offer

Maruti Suzuki has updated its commercial lineup in the Indian market, with the introduction of 2022 Tour H3. It is based on the base ‘LXi’ trim of the updated Wagon-R. Regular readers would remember that this tallboy hatchback was updated recently in our country, with dualjet engine options, aesthetic updates, and a few additional features.

Maruti Tour H3 is powered by a 1.0-litre, naturally aspirated, inline-3 petrol engine. This motor belts out 66.6 PS and 89 Nm of peak power and torque, respectively, and it comes mated to a 5-speed manual transmission. A CNG option is available as well here; which develops 65.3 PS when running on petrol, while on natural gas, it pushes out 56.7 PS and 82.1 Nm.

Maruti Suzuki claims a fuel economy of 25.40 km/l for the petrol variant, and of 34.73 km/kg for the CNG variant. It should be noted that the petrol version gets the Indo-Japanese manufacturer’s dualjet tech, with an idle start/stop system for improving fuel efficiency. The CNG version, on the other hand, misses out on that.

There are two paint options available on the fleet hatchback – Superior White and Silky Silver. On the safety front, Maruti Tour H3 gets dual front airbags, seatbelt reminder (front row), seatbelt pre-tensioners & force limiters (front row), rear parking sensors, central locking system, ABS with EBD, and most importantly, speed limiting function (80 kmph).

Other than that, it gets blacked-out ORVMs and door handles, along with a black front grille. Its cabin gets a dual-tone colour theme, which looks nice, and the car comes with manual AC & heater, front power windows (one-touch down for driver), integrated headrests on all seats, a semi-digital instrument console, etc.

Maruti Wagon-R Tour H3 is priced at Rs. 5.39 lakh for the petrol variant, and at Rs. 6.34 lakh for the CNG variant (all prices mentioned are ex-showroom, New Delhi). Maruti Suzuki has launched the 2022 Wagon R Tour H3 hatchback in India. It is offered in two variants. As for the highlights, the car has a sporty design and a spacious cabin with many features, including an idle start-stop system. Under the hood, it is available with a choice of petrol as well as CNG powertrains.

The Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Tour H3 has a sculpted bonnet, a chrome-lined grille, large headlights, a wide air vent, and body-colored bumpers. On the sides, it is flanked by B-pillars, ORVMs, and alloy wheels with caps on them. Vertically-positioned taillights and a window wiper grace the rear end. The car is offered in two shades: Superior White and Silky Silver.

It delivers a mileage of 34.73km/kg in CNG form

The Wagon R Tour H3 runs on a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, K10C engine that makes 64hp/89Nm in petrol form and 56hp/82Nm in CNG guise. Transmission duties are handled by a 5-speed manual gearbox. The petrol and CNG variants deliver a mileage of 25.4km/liter and 34.73km/kg, respectively.

Tour NDSU: ‘We roll out the red carpet’

Interested students can learn all about what NDSU has to offer with a visit and tour of campus.

College tours help determine what college is the perfect fit for a student. At NDSU, tours are led by students who share their own campus experiences.  Every tour is personal and tailored for potential students.

Read below for some advice from two of our campus tour guides on how to make the most of your campus visit. Austin Anderson is a junior architecture major from Victoria, Minnesota, and Ally Hoekstra is a junior math education major from Forest Lake, Minnesota.

NDSU summer visit days are scheduled for Friday, July 26 and Friday, Aug. 2. Both include a morning session from 8:30 to noon and an evening session from 1 p.m. to 2:45 p.m. Sign up at the NDSU Visit Days website. Click the “Summer and Special Events” tab for more information.

How to prepare 

Anderson and Hoekstra’s biggest piece of advice is to come ready for questions.  Some common questions are about dining and residence halls, campus life and the Fargo community.  Even if you don’t have any specific questions, ask your tour guides about their personal experiences at NDSU. We encourage prospective students to bring a friend or family member so your tour can be a fun and comfortable experience.

"I love when people ask me why I chose NDSU, but if I had a preference, I love it when they get more specific. Why did you choose to join Greek Life? Why did you choose NDSU over Iowa? Because then I can give them better insight that they can relate to. That's why you ask questions so then you can relate more,” Anderson said.

What to expect

Every college tour looks at classrooms, low rise and high-rise residence halls, the Memorial Union, the Wallman Wellness Center, lunch at a dining center, the library and the Quentin Burdick building - IT services. Getting a firsthand look at what we have to offer helps you envision your college experience at NDSU. Each tour is about two hours and an additional meeting with an admissions counselor is an additional 45 minutes.

Tailor the tour to you

“We roll out the red carpet and treat everyone as a VIP,” said Zeb Watkins, campus visit specialist in the Office of Admission. If you have specific places, buildings or people you want to see, we will try our best to make it happen. Be sure to ask about any clubs or activities you’re interested in. Some students may ask to see specific academic buildings or residence halls. We offer a various selection of tours throughout the year, including week day visits, group visits, virtual visits and summer events.

Explore what campus has to offer

There are a lot of on campus opportunities. NDSU offers around 280 student organizations,  including Greek life, intramurals, musical theater and cultural affiliations.  Ask your tour guide what they are involved in and let them know what interests you have. NDSU Memorial Union is a homebase for students between classes. It offers a variety of food options, the bookstore, multicultural programs, student help and more. Our wellness center not only has treadmills and weights, but it also has a variety of group fitness classes, swimming pools, rock climbing and more. Our culture at NDSU is very welcoming and fun. You will see people enjoying our outdoor volleyball, skating around campus or participating in events.

"There's so many opportunities that you can take advantage of,” Hoekstra said.

Learn about the local community

Check out what the Fargo-Moorhead community has to offer after your tour. We suggest you go downtown to eat, check out the coffee shops and shop at the various boutiques.  Take the opportunity to learn the local Metro bus system. It’s free for students with an NDSU identification card. After going downtown, you can explore the rest of the area. We have something for anyone to enjoy, including Suiteshots golf simulation, the Red River Zoo, Thunder Road fun park, West Acers mall, the Lights Event Center in West Fargo and many restaurant options all around Fargo.

Wrexham's USA pre-season tour 2024 is kicking off on the West Coast in just a few days as the Red Dragons prepare for their first season in League One since 2004.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney purchased Wrexham AFC, the oldest club in Wales, for just $2.5 million in 2020. In the years that followed, the Red Dragons secured back-to-back promotions, earning themselves a spot in League One for the 2024/25 season, all while cameras followed their every move for the docuseries, Welcome to Wrexham .

The show's wide reach helped the club gain countless fans, especially in the United States. Now, instead of just watching Wrexham compete from home, American supporters can see the Red Dragons in person as they embark on the Wrex Coast Tour '24.

Wrexham USA pre-season tour 2024: how to watch

To watch Wrexham's USA pre-season matches, you must purchase a video season pass to iFollow . The subscription costs $178, and will give you access to the Wrex Coast Tour '24, as well as the Red Dragons' upcoming League One fixtures.

Those unwilling to purchase the viewing subscription will still be able to catch Wrexham's pre-season match against Chelsea for free on The 5th Stand app.

Wrexham USA pre-season tour 2024: tickets

Fans looking to attend Wrexham's pre-season matches in person can still purchase tickets for two of the men's three upcoming fixtures. The Red Dragons' match against Bournemouth is sold out, but there are still tickets available for their clash with Chelsea and the Vancouver Whitecaps .

All three of the women's Wrex Coast Tour '24 fixtures still have tickets available for their matches against SoCal FC , Tigres Femenil U-19 , and Portland Thorns Academy .

Passenger jet once owned by Elvis Presley available for fans to tour: ‘It is phenomenal’

MEMPHIS, Tenn. ( WMC /Gray News) - An aircraft enthusiast allowed a few Tennessee residents to tour a jet once owned by the king of rock ‘n’ roll.

Elvis Presley bought the 1962 Lockheed Jetstar on Dec. 22, 1976. It features six red velvet passenger seats.

Aircraft enthusiast Jimmy Webb purchased Elvis’ private jet at auction for $234,000.

Webb said he removed the wings and tail, and now drives the king’s passenger jet across the country for people to see.

“We wanted to show the world this thing because whenever you see the inside of it, it is phenomenal,” Webb said.

The jet had sat idle in New Mexico for decades before Webb said he purchased it.

According to Webb, it was important to preserve the vintage aircraft as much as possible during the mobile conversion.

“All we’ve done is vacuum it, wipe it down,” Webb said. “It still has its original color and stripes.”

Webb said he is currently taking the transformed aircraft on tour from Florida with a next scheduled stop in Oshkosh, Wisconsin.

Red Lobster dishwasher rescues ‘one-in-30 million’ orange lobster

A local Colorado Red Lobster has spared the life of a rare lobster it found by handing it off to a local aquarium.

After a dishwasher named Jose Romero at a Red Lobster in Pueblo, Colorado discovered a rare orange lobster while unpacking a shipment Friday, July 12, the staff named the crustacean “Crush” in honor of the Denver Bronco’s legendary Orange Crush defense, read a press release obtained by TODAY.com.

“The first thought that went through his head was that he’s seen a blue lobster before, which was different, but he’s never seen an orange one,” Romero, who has worked at the Pueblo Red Lobster for 12 years, told the Pueblo Chieftain .

Staffers have since found Crush a new home at Denver’s Downtown Aquarium, the release said. Crush moved in July 17, the release added.

Ryan Herman, general curator at Denver’s Downtown Aquarium, said in the release, “We are thrilled to be able to share this very rare and extraordinary animal with the community and visitors to Colorado.”

Orange lobsters are one in 30 million, the release added. Its color stems “from a genetic mutation,” which “affects and prevents encoded proteins,” said the aquarium. Without one or several proteins, lobsters can be different colors, such as blue, yellow and orange.

Red Lobster workers have stumbled across several uniquely colored lobsters in recent years and have relocated them to various places.

In 2020, a worker in Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, found Clawdia the crustacean and sent the blue lobster to a zoo in Akron, Ohio.

In July 2022, staffers at a Hollywood, Florida, location found an orange lobster, affectionally named Cheddar, and placed it in Ripley’s Aquarium of Myrtle Beach, Yahoo reported.

About a month later, in August 2022, workers at a Meridian, Mississippi, location came across another orange lobster, named it Biscuit and arranged its placement at Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies in Gatlinburg, Tennesee, Yahoo reported.

Before Crush, Denver’s Downtown Aquarium only had one orange lobster in its collection, the press release said. Upon completing a 30-day quarantine period and a veterinarian’s examination, Crush will live in the Lurks exhibit.

MLB announces 2025 regular season schedule

2025 championship season to open with the tokyo series presented by guggenheim between the los angeles dodgers and the chicago cubs; opening series at tokyo dome marks 25th anniversary of first-ever regular season games played in japan in 2000; 2025 season to feature “rivalry weekend” from may 16th-18th; all 30 clubs scheduled to play on traditional opening day on thursday, march 27th; 95th all-star game presented by mastercard at truist park to be played on july 15th.

Major League Baseball today announced its master 2025 regular season schedule, which will begin with the Tokyo Series presented by Guggenheim, featuring the Los Angeles Dodgers with Oshu, Japan native Shohei Ohtani and Bizen, Japan native Yoshinobu Yamamoto against the Chicago Cubs with Kitakyushu, Japan native Shota Imanaga and Arakawa, Japan native Seiya Suzuki on Tuesday, March 18 th and Wednesday, March 19 th at the Tokyo Dome. Traditional Opening Day, featuring all 30 Major League Clubs, will take place on Thursday, March 27 th .

The Tokyo Series presented by Guggenheim, which will be the latest installment of MLB’s WORLD TOUR, will mark the sixth time in which MLB opens its regular season in Tokyo, and it represents the 25 th anniversary of the first-ever regular season games played in Japan in 2000 between the Cubs and the New York Mets. It will also be the first games in Japan since the Seattle Mariners and Oakland Athletics opened the 2019 season at the Tokyo Dome. In addition to the openers in 2000 and 2019, other season openers in Japan took place in 2004 (NYY vs. TB); 2008 (BOS vs. OAK); and 2012 (SEA vs. OAK).

Next season will mark the second consecutive year in which an international series is featured to begin the season, following the March 2024 Seoul Series between the Dodgers and San Diego Padres. In addition to Chicago’s 2000 opener in Tokyo, the Cubs also played international games in 2023 during a two-game series against the St. Louis Cardinals in London. For the Dodgers, it marks their fourth international series, joining the 2014 season-opening series in Sydney, Australia against the Arizona Diamondbacks; the 2018 series against the Padres in Monterrey, Mexico; and the aforementioned Seoul Series in 2024.

The 15 games on traditional Opening Day will feature four divisional matchups and five Interleague contests. Seven games are scheduled for Friday, March 28 th , a full slate of 15 games will be played Saturday, March 29 th , and 14 contests will be played on Sunday, March 30 th . The traditional opening date of March 27 th will mark the earliest in Major League history, excluding special season-openers at international venues. Previously, the earliest traditional Opening Day for MLB had been on March 28 th in 2019 and 2024.

For 2025, prime Interleague rivals will increase their number of matchups from four to six while playing a pair of three-game series rather than a pair of two-game series. As a result, each of the 30 Clubs will play two fewer games against non-division league opponents.

“Rivalry Weekend” across MLB will take place on the weekend of May 16 th -18 th , featuring 11 series between prime Interleague rivals and four other regional matchups which include Pittsburgh vs Philadelphia; Colorado vs. Arizona; Detroit vs. Toronto; and Houston vs. Texas. In 2025, each of the 30 Clubs will host the same Interleague opponents as they hosted in 2023 (the 2026 schedule will feature Clubs hosting the same Interleague opponents as 2024).

The 95 th All-Star Game presented by Mastercard will take place on Tuesday, July 15 th at Truist Park in Atlanta, marking the ballpark’s first Midsummer Classic and the third overall to be hosted by the Braves in Atlanta, joining the 1972 contest at Atlanta Stadium and the 2000 All-Star Game at Turner Field. The final day of the 2025 regular season will be Sunday, September 28 th , featuring eight divisional matchups.
