Pocono Outdoor Adventure Tours has provided access to trails on a 1,000-acre estate for over 50 years and offers scenic UTV tours all year round.

A UTV is a larger vehicle than an ATV and can seat more than one person. The UTVs here are super sturdy and fantastically fun.

Pocono Outdoor Adventure Tours provides helmets. You are going four-wheeling, so it is likely you will get dirty. Dress accordingly!

Reservations are required for UTV tours and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. You must have a valid driver’s license and children must be at least 5 years old to participate. Conveniently located between Camelback/Camelbeach, Jack Frost, and Big Boulder ski resorts and a short drive from Aquatopia, Great Wolf, and Kalahari. It’s literally one minute away from Pocono Raceway .

This is our 4th time doing this UTV tour. It's always a blast. They updated the UTV's this time and there faster and awesome. Also the Ability to connect my phones Bluetooth to the UTV made it that much better listening to music and blasting through the mud!!!! This is a must do activitie when in the Poconos. We will be back for out 5th time!!!!! Tips - You get dirty! Face, hands, full body. Wear crappy clothing and shoes. Bring a bandana for face, gloves for hands (esp if raining). Wear sweatpants and long sleeve (even if it's 90 degrees out). Everything I wore goes into garbage soon as we get back. BRING A CHANGE OF CLOTHS. -Bring a gallon zip lock bag for phone, keys, ect. UTVS have a glove box. And have fun!!!

Fantastic experience! My wife and I had a blast on the ATVs. The staff is awesome and take all safety precautions. We will definitely be back!

When I say fun this was FUN! My husband and I love pretty much everything outdoors. We scheduled for a 1:30pm ride but than realized we had more time than we thought. I decided to call and see if there was room for the 12:30 ride and it was the young lady on the phone was very nice and had no problem changing our scheduled tour time. We did our waivers online which move the process quicker and filled out a short drivers waiver and we were on our way. Seth was our guide and he was phenomenal. He had us laughing and also let us set up our phones to Bluetooth in the UTV that was a plus. My husband and I had a blast. We stopped to take pictures near the end. We also came out drenched and dirty but I mean how else are you suppose to come off if your not muddy and wet you didn't have fun lol. I highly recommend go if you can.

What a blast! The ride was so fun and the guide was phenomenal! We interacted with three employees from start to finish and all of them were superb! Our guide was so professional and had excellent interpersonal skills which made the ride memorable. If you're looking for a great overall experience, this is the place!

Soooo much fun. We did the 1 hour UTV tour at 11:30 & we had a blast. I went with my 7 year old son. We had to show our license & sign a waiver and that was pretty much it- to get started. Short safety demonstration & quickly went over basic rules and hand signals & we started it. We had a group of about 7-8 vehicles and we had so much fun. I like the pre-made jumps and trails with the tires and mud. The mud was my sons favorite part, but WOMEN- lmk Beware: DO NOT WEAR NICE CLOTHING, DO NOT BRING YOUR HANDBAG. It took me about 2 hours to get the mud & dirt out from my hair and it was literally in every crevice of my body. In my ears, caked to my eyebrows, in my nose, on my feet & the clothes I wore are pretty wrecked - lol. Wicked fun- definitely recommend it and very family friendly & family oriented. They are governed at about 26-27 MPH- so I definitely felt safe, since they couldn't go that fast. Definitely worth it and relatively decent pricing- I got a 10% off discount since I'm a first responder! Woohoo! If you're in the area it's definitely worth checking out!

Right next to pocono race track. I would recommend this excursion ,guide was great the trails were loads of fun ,me and my wife switched half way through the ride she was easily able to handle the UTV. Make sure you bring a change of clothes ,wear boots and jeans.

One of the best UTV experiences I've had. Definitely recommend! We went when it was snowing and rented a 4 seater. It's a lot of fun and they let you have fun while driving. A lot of mud and turns that make it a exhilarating experience. Will come back soon! Our guide was a blast as she let us have fun and did not overly micro manage! It is governed at 26 mph but the turns and bumps make it very enjoyable. Coming back to this one. Wear snow clothing that you don't mind getting wet and dirty!

So much fun! Our tour guide Goldie took us through at a fun pace and the hour flew by. We loved the obstacle course and there were SO MANY puddles to splash through around the entire route!

I made our reservation for one UTV for 11:30 am on a Saturday for my husband and I. We arrived 30 minutes early as requested and checked in inside. They offer a decent law enforcement/first responder discount. The only bathrooms they have are Porto Potties--one is a pretty nice size so you can change clothes in but there is no lock on the door. We were given a short instruction on what and what not to do -- pretty easy -- and the UTV's drive just like a car. We had a lot of fun but didn't realize how dirty we would actually get! There were a ton of puddles to go through and my hubby went through them slowly as to not kick up a lot of water. But you will get some mud splash on you from the UTV in front of you. No biggie. I was actually pretty disappointed that I didn't come better prepared! I would have loved to kick up some mud!!! Next time we know to bring a change of clothes, a hat and maybe something to cover our mouths since the dust kicks up pretty good and we were way in the back so we got all of it! I wore sunglasses but would probably choose to wear the glasses they provide next time as they had better eye coverage. This was really a blast and our guide was really awesome. We even stopped a few times to switch drivers and one of those times we stopped outside of the Long Pond Race Track and were able to check it out and take some pictures.

This would not be my first time in an off-road vehicle, but this was for sure the first time getting behind the wheel of one. For the novice, like myself, I was nervous and intimated for a UTV experience but here we go!

Pocono Outdoor Adventure Tours is simple to find and open all year round! It is less than 5 miles off I-80 and conveniently right next to the Pocono Raceway Ticket Office building. Off of Long Pond Road, turn right into the Pocono Raceway parking lot and Pocono Outdoor Adventure is the last building (you’ll usually see UTV’s lined up at the end of the parking lot). The staff here is friendly, knowledgeable and helpful with every step of the process. Prior to your excursion, you can expect to fill out waivers and take part in a quick briefing on how to operate the UTV’s, the safety measures that should be taken and of course – the fun you’re guaranteed to have! (Note: you must arrive at least 30 minutes prior to your scheduled tour time to complete the required waivers and briefing.)

For the first time on the tour, I invited 3 friends to experience this adventure with. Pocono Outdoor Adventure has two selections of UTV’s to choose from – two-seater UTV’s and four-seater UTV’s. Whether you are riding solo, with a partner or wanting to bring the family out, there are options for everyone! Kids as young as 5-years old are permitted to ride as well. UTV Tours are a HIT in the Pocono Mountains therefore book a tour online a few days in advance easily on their website. Additional information on pricing/deals, reservations and policies can also be found on their website HERE .

You may be wondering what you need for the tour. The staff provides clear glasses to protect your eyes from dirt and the wind, but you have the option to wear your own as well. Regardless, you will be grateful you wore them. Be sure to check the weather in Long Pond, PA before you get there. Like anywhere else you go, dress according to the weather and do not wear your nice clothes – you will get dirty. That is the best part of the whole experience! Some people also recommend wearing a face covering (bandana, scarf, gaiter) to block the dirt from your face and your mouth. If you don’t bring one, keep your mouth closed or you’ll find out the hard way like I did.

The tour begins passing the Gate 1 Tunnel entrance of Pocono Raceway and continuing by crossing Long pond Rd. The back-wood adventure begins! Like I said, being a novice to driving a UTV and driving alone was a bit scary. But within the first few minutes I got the hang of the vehicle and was extremely comfortable behind the wheel. On the first half of the tour, the trails are primarily flat, spacious and easy to handle. Until you get to the Challenge Course! No worries, I was intimated by the name too and thought I could not do it. This is where I truly learned the abilities of a UTV. UTV’s are a fearless vehicle that can handle any type of terrain, so I figured I had to be a fearless driver to get the best experience! The course is exhilarating – speeding through the corners, nose diving into water, conquering the steep hills – it was great! My confidence in myself and the vehicle were officially reached at this point.

The second half of the tour included rollercoaster-like trails and shows off more unique sites of the NASCAR track, Pocono Raceway. Be sure to bring your cameras – your guide will offer a photo-op stop along the way! Sites we saw included the race car graveyard, the Pocono Raceway iconic Grandstands from a view not seen by the fans, the backside of Pocono Raceway’s Turn 1 and Long Pond straightaway (another part of the 2.5-mile NASCAR track) and you cannot forget the possible site of Pocono Mountain wildlife.

The whole tour lasted about an hour and every minute was a thrill! If you are looking for something to do while visiting the Pocono Mountains, a UTV tour at Pocono Outdoor Adventure is a must! You WILL get dirty but most importantly, you will have a memorable time riding on trails of the beautiful Pocono Mountains.

Is Rockefeller Center becoming an amusement park? First, there was The Beam, which straps tourists to a steel girder and lifts them several feet above the building’s observation deck, treating them to unparalleled views even as they create a reasonable facsimile of the famous "Lunch atop a Skyscraper" photo taken when the Rock was being built in 1932.

Now comes Skylift, a round, rotating vessel that slowly rises three stories from the roof, the contraption eventually looking like a wedding cake hovering over the 70-story building. Like The Beam, the views are matchless, the rush one-of-a-kind, and the experience certifiably terrifying for anyone afraid of heights.

Back at sea level, the Rock’s seasonal ice skating rink is open again, Santa is poised to return in December, and two newish restaurants are worth a meal: 5 Acres with upscale burgers and comfort classics, and Jupiter , which serves Italian fare in an attractive setting that includes an outdoor rink-side terrace.

Pickleball might be the rage in this country, but in much of the rest of the world, it’s padel, a sport that uses racquetball-size rackets and tennis-sized balls and is played in a squash-like enclosed court where the walls are fair game. Yes, we’ve rolled our eyes at those commercials about Pennsylvania being fall-ier than the other states, but it’s an undeniably beautiful place in autumn, especially in the Poconos, which has — count’em — two trains giving foliage tours this month, one  that leaves from the town of Jim Thorpe, and another from Honesdale . This is also the weekend of the Black Bear Film Festival, which if nothing else is a great excuse to visit Milford, one of the cutest villages in the area and a perfect home base with plenty of inns, many of them containing top restaurants like Bar Louis and the Delmonico Room at the Hotel Fauchere , and the steakhouse at the Dimmick , where an inn has stood since 1828.
