NICKELBACK Announces The No Fixed Address 2015 North American Tour

LOS ANGELES , Nov. 5, 2014  /PRNewswire/ — Multi-platinum selling rock band NICKELBACK are set to embark on a massive headlining tour in 2015 in support of their eighth full-length studio album, No Fixed Address [Republic Records]. The new album is out Nov. 17 and can be pre-ordered HERE . The band announced the extensive No Fixed Address Tour today in front of a sold-out crowd who packed the House of Blues Sunset in West Hollywood, Calif. Proceeds from this special sold-out show will go to the International House of Blues Music Forward Foundation’s grants program.Produced and promoted exclusively by Live Nation, the No Fixed Address Tour marks the beginning of NICKELBACK’s 12th tour and will see the band performing in 61 cities across North America starting Valentine’s Day , Feb. 14, 2015 , in Allentown, Pa. at the PPL Center and winding down in Atlanta, Ga. on Aug. 29 at the Aaron’s Amphitheatre at Lakewood . Nickelback Rock Concert Stage in L.A. to Announce 2015 North American Tour

Nickelback are planning to return to the road in 2015 with a massive  North American tour . But after making the big announcement and revealing the run would start on Valentine's Day, the band couldn't resist the lure of being on the concert stage and treated their fans and select media members to a hits-filled set Wednesday afternoon (Nov. 5) at the Sunset Strip House of Blues in West Hollywood, Calif.

The show was also being webcast via Yahoo, allowing those who weren't in the Los Angeles area to join in on the fun online. And fun it was, for both the crowd and the band themselves who seemed to be having a great time onstage. Frontman Chad Kroeger continually riffed on the virtues of day drinking, offering to buy the entire crowd a round while playing. Meanwhile, the band members knocked a few back onstage with Ryan Peake offering a hearty "Cheers" for each swig.

And when the guys weren't joking with each other and members of the crowd, they provided a performance that felt that they hadn't missed a step even though they hadn't been on the concert stage for some time. Opening with the hard-hitting 'Animals,' they got the audience immediately amped up. The current hit single 'Edge of a Revolution' followed with Chad Kroeger pumping his arms to the sky leading the crowd in a sing-along. The fan favorite 'Photograph' and "a song for the ladies in the room," 'Far Away,' followed.

A good sign for the new album is that both 'Edge of a Revolution' and the band's other recent release, 'What Are You Waiting For,' both fit well within the flow of their set list for the afternoon and should be well-known favorites by the time they hit the road.

Other highlights of the set included 'Someday,' a medley of 'Bullet' and 'Because of You,' 'Rock Star' and 'Figured You Out,' which led into the closer -- the band's biggest hit 'How You Remind Me,' leaving the audience on a high note. Nickelback cancel 2015 World Tour

This past June, Chad Kroeger learned he had an “intracordal cyst” on his voice box, forcing Nickelback to cancel their North American tour . Surgery was successful, but the band has now cancelled the remainder of their 2015 tour dates, as doctors want Kroeger to get some more rest.

In a statement from the band:

“We are sorry to miss our fans out on the road this fall, but Chad’s health, healing and full recovery are what is most important right now. With the proper amount of time, we hope to have him back stronger and better than ever before. We thank everyone for their support and understanding during this time and look forward to getting back out on the road and playing music for everyone again real soon.”

Nickelback were set to hit the road in late September and tour most all of October and November. All of this touring was in support of last year’s No Fixed Address album. Though it has sold 101,000 copies so far, it’s their “ lowest-selling (album) in recent history .”

There music is honest and sometimes down right raw to the core about life, situations, love, loss, hurt, emotions the list goes on.I love the think outside the box ideas they have and look forward to many more albums and concerts around world.

Every single member of this band is instrumental to making Nickleback who they are today.

Would be awesome if they had more meet and greet at concerts and singings.

Know it's hot as hell on that stage a few more tunes would be cool aswell.

This band litteraly saved my life from stopping myself from doing something stupid to myself. Lullaby is very personal to me. Everytime I wanted to give up I would play there music and saved me. Thank you for that Nickleback your amazing, talented, intellectual and sezy as sin. Between Ryan and his voice and good looks, to Daniel on drums who is a fricking God on drums but seriously who doesn't like a sexy drummer? Then we have Mike who plays base people don't give enough praise for the bass guitar and with his cowboy hat and no shirt on stage just Daaaaammmmmmm the man is gorgeous then there is Chad lead singer and guitar with those killer eye and fricking magic voice who is also fricking hot !!!

This puppy is a transcript that was painstakingly transcribed using the screenplay and/or viewings of the movie to get the dialogue. Okay - yet wish they would have played more of their music and less talking and engaging audience. Ravinia said concert would go till 10:15 pm and they were done by 9:44 pm. Only one encore song was played and so many of their signature tunes we never heard.

For $150 paid for 2 pavilion seats we were disappointed in lack of music performed. Having audience members come on stage was fun but I wanted to hear band perform Rock

Star song without additional voices took away from the moment. Way too much chatter in between songs unless they planned to play till
