Hi ! friends, Recently had been to Abloli for birds sighting camp with friends and we stayed at Garava home stay accommodation.The rest house area is very picturesque & we saw lots of birds species in the rest house area. Mr Sachin Karekar owner of the rest house & an enthusiastic bird watcher, is expert in sighting birds. Also his son Shubham an expert birds photographer at the young age of 14 years, took photographs from my camera by 150 by 600 mm lens & gave me amazing birds photographs. Sachin Karekar wife and expert cook served us delicious breakfast lunch dinner during our three days stay at Garava rest house. Sachin and his son Shubham showed us about 89 birds species,at Abloli. We enjoyed our stay a lot because of the kind hospitality by Sachin & his family and staff. More

It was very Pleasant stay and cool surrounding. We stayed for 3 nights in the last week of January 2019. Sachin and his son Shubham took us on Jungle trails and we have seen n number of bird spices. It was a life time experience, Sachin Karekar and Shubham is very expert in spotting the birds. One can see lot of birds in property itself. Sachin has marinated his property clean with flora and fauna, is very peaceful and stress revealing. The rooms are clean and neat. Recommending for family stay. One can enjoy delicious Konkani food. I will definitely visit again. Best wishes to Sachin Karekar and family for nature conservation.

• Cleanliness

It's one of the beautiful places I have been recently. A perfect spot to chill out on a weekend. The food is super delicious. The rooms are clean and perfect for family or a friends group. The best part is the bunker bed kind of arrangement. Lots of greenery around. The owner is a very humble and a helping guy. I visited with our bikers group and the experience was amazing.

Sachin was really helpful right from the beginning , from booking till the end of the trip. A wonderful and friendly host. His place is very close to nature and you can really have a pleasant time with lots of colourful birds around. Stay was neat and clean and the food was amazingly tasty with ukdiche modak which gives you the proper Konkan food feel. Highly recommended place.

It was all together fantastic experience. The food, The hospitality, The ambiance EVERY THING PERFECT.Santosh was good as birding guide.Typical Konkan feel. It's not a luxury star hotel but is a perfect & lovely home stay.

We visited before Ganesh chaturthi. We stayed for 3 Nights. Place/rooms & surrounding area is exceptionally clean. Owner & his family members are very caring. Food quality is good and fish dish was delicious. Our main motto of visit was birding and relaxation. We achieved both. Mr. Karekar has very good knowledge and knows habits of various birds in the vicinity. We were lucky to spot ODK in the premises of Garva. Overall a memorable trip.
