ghost band tour 2024

Ghost US Tour 2024 & Tickets

Ghost will continue to support their Grammy-nominated 2018 album, Prequelle, with a just-announced fall 2024 North American tour that promises to stage an arena-level production seen on select shows during the band’s 2018 run. The Swedish band will be joined by Nothing More for the six-week run.

Known for their elaborate stagecraft and costumes, Ghost’s fall tour will find the band performing a lengthy set against a backdrop that resembles a medieval cathedral, complete with stained-glass windows that depict the departed “Papa” incarnations played by lead singer Tobias Forge. Prior to their headlining tour, Ghost will spend the summer opening for Metallica on their 25-date “WorldWired” European stadium tour. Last June, Ghost honored Metallica with a cover of “Enter Sandman” when the metal legend’s received Sweden’s top musical honor, the Polar Music Prize.

Nothing More are known for a dynamic live show, as well, and will be out in support of their Grammy-nominated 2017 disc, The Stories We Tell Ourselves. While more dates are expected to be announced, this is likely the last time to catch Ghost before they hunker down to record their next album, which Forge has revealed will be released in 2020.

Live reviews

Ghost are, regardless of whether you're particularly into corpse painted, Satanic-inspired heavy metal, one band that you should not miss live. Their concerts are not simply events to watch but experiential, jaw-dropping journeys to embark upon, and here's why: The Swedish sextet, clad in black hooded gowns and pointed beard-masks (yes, this is a thing) are led by their singer, known as Papa Emeritus, who dons full skull make-up and the robes and hat of a Roman Catholic pope (aside from the upside-down crosses adorning them). As well as their appearances, the band add to the intoxicating atmosphere of their shows with a backdrop of faux stained glass windows, and burn incense to give the audience the impression of being in a church, about to undergo something more than simply watching a group of men play musical instruments on a stage. They achieve this by including the audience in their twisted act, for example during the song Body and Blood, scantily-clad women appeared at the front of the stage offering the 'Eucharist' of a goblet of blood (aka wine) to the lucky fans in the front row.

I saw Ghost at the Fillmore Silver Spring, shorty after the release of their highly anticipated second album, Infestissumam, and was, frankly, blown away by the quality of their live show. Their appearances and Satan-worshipping act are contrasted by the liveliness of their music, which while categorized as heavy or black metal, is definitely more riff and vocal-driven than most metal, with songs such as the single Monstrance Clock and even an amped-up cover of the Beatles' Here Comes The Sun as part of their catchy, dancable set.

Even if you are the biggest metal-phobe around, you should go see Ghost. If heavy metal is your jam, but you're really not into the whole make-up/ crazy outfit thing, you should go see Ghost. If you're a fan or the music but are undecided on paying for a ticket, you should most definitely go see Ghost. The entire experience is something intoxicatingly unforgettable, and you will not regret it!

The wife and I got into the game a bit late but Ghost is as much a part of our yearly plans as is eating, sleeping, and hydrating. We were fortunate to have caught their last two rituals in Sweden last year and were able to capture video of Papa III being pulled off stage during Monstrance Clock. We were so happy that we made the trip from the states because seeing the end of Papa III in videos is nothing compared to the excitement of seeing it in person, from the barrier, and right up front. This band is very exciting to watch and being able to share the experience with my wife has made our evenings with Ghost that much better. My wife met Papa III last year and we've had the opportunity to meet Cardinal Copia 3 times this year during the meet and greets in New York and Pittsburgh. We're looking forward to meeting him again 4 more times out of the 6 rituals we'll be attending in December. We also already have our tickets and vacation planned for the 2 upcoming rituals taking place in Sweden in February 2019. When they make their way back to the states in 2019, we will begin planning our schedules around their tour dates. Here's a short back story as to why they are so important to me. My wife and I were just a couple of months away from signing the official court documents stating we were divorced. While trying to keep things amicable we would meet to discuss things and we'd often listen to Ghost. By the time they would be coming Philadelphia that year, we would have been attending as two single individuals and no longer married. We'd have fun listening to them and as that common ground grew stronger, so did we and slowly began reconciling. By the time they did come to Philadelphia that year, we attended as a happily married couple and continue to do so today. Getting my wife back, I can honestly say, is all thanks to Ghost and I couldn't be more grateful to them or happier sharing the experience with anyone else except for Kelly.

The concert at Liseberg amusement Park was amazing. They opened doors at 11:00 am and there was already like 30 people waiting for the concert impatiently. Security guards and workers of the Amusement Park were very nice and help people when there was an incident outside the park.

The concert started at 8:00 pm without any problem, the crowd went crazy when they went on stage. The setlist was the following:

- Square Hammer

- From the Pinnacle to the Pit

- Elizabeth

- Con clavi con Dio

- Per aspera ad Inferi

- Body and Blood

- Devil Church

- Year Zero

- Spokosonat

- Absolution

- Deus in Absentia

- Monstrance Clock.

At the end of the last show was when 2 bodyguards came on stage and dragged Papa Emeritus III from stage and Papa Emeritus Zero came in, anouncing that the party was over and a new era was about to start.

I only got into Ghost recently and caught their show last night in Toronto.

I decided to get some cheap tickets because I liked the music and thought they'd be fun to see live.

They by far exceeded anything I was expecting. The creepy church vibe, use of incense(which I have never encountered before, very nice touch!), Papa engaging the audience at every opportunity and even took a few minutes just to chit chat and kept us roaring and laughing for more. The use of costumes and masks was amazing.

Being an introvert I don't really go out much, and when I do I just kind of sit there and enjoy the music and the show. This is the first band that's made me get up from my chair and actually get into the show. Next time they come to the area, I'm definitely saving up and treating myself to WAY better seating!

Oh my Ghost, this is the live ritual gig experience your soul is crying out for. Full disclaimer: I love Ghost to bits and have been preaching my dark passion for years. Seeing them live again - this time in a bigger arena off the back of a couple more hit albums - reaffirms the faith.

Go and see Ghost and you will get a diverse setlist drawn from the band's spectacular back catalogue. You will get theatrics and pyrotechnics. You will get both humour and deep emotion, dark anthems and sublime instrumentals and an uplifting sense that you a witnessing something novel and special.

Ghost are - musically, aesthetically, spiritually - something to cherish and the live experience is one that is fun, compelling, cathartic and oh-so-damn-rock-n-roll. Go worship and have the time of your (after)life.

I can see Ghost every night and never get bored. It's not just the band and music, Tobias has created characters, including his own, for this band that are incredibly humble and patient with their fans. While the material can be considered risque, you will see children younger than 10 years old attending that are not only having the time of their lives, but participating in the meet and greets with their parents. Everything about these shows from the music, to the costumes, the characters, and the theatrics is so very much entertaining. We know as fans that there is so much more to look forward to with the future of Ghost and we'll have the opportunity to enjoy them for many more years. It is very exciting when tomorrow becomes today and you're standing in front eagerly awaiting Ashes to start.

If you have Ghost, you have everything.

Theatre; spectacle; a sense of cult worship; dark humour; thick fugs of incense; electric, otherwordly energy; lighting and atmospherics; collective frenzy; and most of all, the sweet music of the night.

Ghost are beautiful for so many reasons. Beneath their sublime subversive style - iconoclastic and gleefully irreverent - is a musical powerhouse making the most compelling and catchy rock in this epoch. The craftsmanship is incredible. The mystique is immense. It's a joy to behold in the flesh (and blood) and if you have the opportunity to absorb the spirit of Ghost in person, surrender to it.

Honestly, Ghost was one of the greatest entertainment experiences I've had. Join them in their ritual and hail your Master...

This was the best show I have ever been to (I have seen a lot too). Ghost put on an electric performance with great theatrics as well as fun conversational bits while the musicians took a couple minutes to get water, wipe the sweat off from under those masks, etc. We were also delighted by the pyrotechnics, fog machines, and surprise mummy dust confetti! Well executed and the band sounded amazing live. I wish I had gotten tickets for the following night too! I will definitely be seeing them when they come back into town. Ghost really knows how to stimulate all their fans' senses. Many thanks to the band for their commitment to their fans and the melodic tunes they share with us. Keep them coming please!!!

The Ghost show was truly amazing. For me, this was mainly due to two things:

1. Each and every member of this band knows his instrument very well, and they play their songs flawlessly and with ease. Leaving them energy to interact with the crowd while still not missing a note/beat.

2. Their concept is so well thought through. From the incense and small unveiling ritual before their set starts to the sisters of sin and perfected visual in set, movements and costumes, everything works brilliantly. And with Papa giving some background info to songs and rituals, you really get the feeling you are part of a well-oiled ritual.

I am very glad I've been to the show, and can't wait to see this band again :)

Awesome band! I had a older friend come with last night to the Stockholm show and even thou she said "It's not exactly my favourite but it was a terrific show, tunes to sing along to and this isn't the last time we do this!" with a huge smile on her face. This was my second Ritual, i love the costume changes, you really feel like your seeing a theatrical show instead of a regular concert, I'm use to sitting up front but this time sat in the balcony to see a spectacular light show and pyrotechnics, we sat in the upper balcony and could feel the heat from the pyro effects.I only wish i could have been yp front closer to Cardinal Copia,to get his blessings. Will not be the last time i go to see Ghost!

Ghost announce first-ever concert film Rite Here Rite Now for global cinema release

The film, which combines footage of the metal cult’s 2023 Los Angeles concerts with an original story, will hit cinemas worldwide in June

Ghost Tobias Forge

Ghost have announced the release of their first concert film Rite Here Rite Now .

The film will combine footage of the masked Swedish collective’s shows at The Forum in Los Angeles, California , last September with a narrative that continues the story of their long-running online ‘webisode’ series.

Rite Here Rite Now was directed Alex Ross Perry and band mastermind Tobias Forge, and will hit cinemas globally on June 20 and 22 only.

The trailer will be released on May 9, and tickets will become available to purchase on the same day at 2pm BST / 9am EDT / 6am PDT.

A soundtrack album will also become available to preorder on May 9.

Forge comments: “Over a decade ago when Ghost got signed to [current record label] Loma Vista, Tom Whalley (owner and CEO) asked what the story of the band was.

“He felt telling a story was vital in order to get new fans engaged.

“I said that because we were a new ‘baby’ band and more importantly we were an anonymous baby band, there wasn’t really a compelling story to tell.

“Not yet anyway.

“But I told him that if he wanted a story, I could come up with one.

“This film is the fruit of that conversation.”

Forge previously teased that Ghost would be releasing a film of last year’s Los Angeles shows in a 2023 interview with Metal Hammer .

“We were essentially shooting a film,” he said of the concerts. “And we used two nights of crowds as extras.

“It’s going to be a film with a concert element. So a lot of what you experienced [at the two L.A. shows] is going to be part of this project.”

When asked if the Ghost film would be similar to Metallica ’s Through The Never , which combined concert footage with an action film-like narrative, Forge replied, “In the sense that it’s a concert with something else combined.”

Ghost released a cryptic teaser trailer for Rite Here Rite Now on social media last month.

The trailer depicted live footage of Papa Emeritus IV bowing and ended with the words, “Coming soon to cinemas worldwide.”

Ghost ended the touring cycle for their latest album, 2022’s Impera , with a string of Australian dates last October.

The concerts are expected to be the last time that fans will see Forge as the Papa Emeritus IV character, as the singer has always changed to a new persona between album cycles.

Forge, as Papa Emeritus IV, said onstage at the final Australian show in Brisbane on October 7: “This finale, it’s just going to be my last show, and I’m going to do my best to deliver that show to you. And that would just have to be enough, OK?”

In a March 2022 interview with Guitar.com , Forge revealed that he already had a plan for Ghost’s activities up to 2025.

This plan included what the followup to Impera will sound like and be titled, and when it will be released.

However, no concrete release date for the next album has been given and the band have not announced any future concerts at time of publication.

Ghost announce details of debut feature film ‘RITE HERE RITE NOW’

The film combines footage of their live show with an original story, and will hit cinemas next month

Ghost have shared details of a debut feature film, titled RITE HERE RITE NOW .

  • READ MORE: Ghost – ‘Impera’ review: Swedish metallers go bigger than ever

Set to arrive in cinemas worldwide next month, the film is the first of its kind from the metal group , and will combine footage of their September 2023 shows at The Forum in Los Angeles with a narrative that picks up plot threads from the band’s long-running webisode series.

It has been directed by the masked Swedish collective’s frontman Tobias Forge, alongside American filmmaker and actor Alex Ross Perry, and is set to arrive in cinemas globally on June 20 and 22 only.

A full trailer is set to launch next Thursday (May 9), and tickets for screenings will be available then too. Tickets and further details will arrive via the film’s own website at 2pm BST / 9am EDT / 6pm PDT.

You can visit here to sign up for more information, and a soundtrack album will also become available to preorder next Thursday.

The concert footage incorporated into the movie is taken from Ghost’s two sold-out shows at Los Angeles’ hallowed Kia Forum last September, where they wrapped up the ‘RE-IMPERATOUR U.S.A’ run of dates .

“ RITE HERE RITE NOW is, however, so much more than a concert movie,” reads a description, explaining how the film ties in the narrative from the band’s long-running Chapter series.

“The result is an utterly unique phantasmagorical blend: Flesh and bone renditions of favourites from all five of Ghost’s albums […] all interacting behind the scenes with Ghost’s Papa Emeritus IV, as his future and fate lay in the hands of the Ministry.

“Whether you’re a devoted disciple looking to relive treasured memories of the Ghost live spectacle or among the curious uninitiated, RITE HERE RITE NOW will put you right there: putting your phones down and living in the moment—as a shadow of uncertainty looms—completely spellbound and in the thrall of this bombastic yet intimate cinematic portrait of Ghost.”

The band’s founder and frontman Tobias Forge also shared a statement about the upcoming film, shedding light on how the idea arose.

“Over a decade ago when Ghost got signed to Loma Vista, Tom Whalley (owner and CEO) asked what the story of the band was,” he began. “He felt telling a story was vital in order to get new fans engaged. I said that because we were a new ‘baby’ band and more importantly we were an ANONYMOUS baby band, there wasn’t really a compelling story to tell.

“Not yet anyway. But I told him that if he wanted a story, I could come up with one. This film is the fruit of that conversation.”

Director Alex Ross Perry added that the collaboration with Forge was made to “expand the saga” of the band and “make a one-of-a-kind feast not only for Ghost fans, but all lovers of the cinematic alchemy between rock spectacle and spooky delights.”

Tobias Forge of Ghost performs on stage at Afas Live on June 4, 2023 in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

News of the film comes shortly after the frontman revealed that he has already begun work on a new album. In an interview with Metal Hammer (via Louder Sound ), the frontman revealed he had already started on the successor to ‘ Impera ’ and had completed a few new songs that will be part of the tracklist.

He also spoke to NME in April last year about the band’s covers EP ‘Phantomine’ , where Forge revealed that the project could “cast a glimpse as to where I want to go with the band now”.

“That doesn’t mean that all of a sudden we’re going to sound like Television!” he said. “It just means that there are practical things in there that have inspired me to record this EP in a slightly different way than I have done previously.”

In more recent Ghost news, it was reported in March that someone purchased an unreleased solo album from the frontman and founder for a whopping amount of money .

GHOST Shares First Teaser For Upcoming Movie

GHOST has shared the first teaser for the band's film project.

According to the 30-second spot, which can be seen below, the movie will be "coming soon to cinemas worldwide".

Last October, GHOST leader Tobias Forge confirmed that footage from the band's September 2023 two shows at the Forum in Inglewood, California will be used as part of the film.

"When I first started putting it together, I was, like, 'Oh my god, I'm going to faint because there's so much to think about,'" Forge told Metal Hammer magazine. "Then it was, like, 'No, no, just don't think about it at all.'"

Both GHOST shows at the Forum were device-free experiences. Use of phones and smart watches was not permitted in the performance space. Upon arrival at the venue, devices were secured in individual Yondr pouches that were opened at the end of the event.

"I have never seen a crowd interact the way that they did since I was in a club band," Forge said. "They were the best shows I've ever done with GHOST , just because I didn't have to see those fucking mobile phones."

Tobias went on to say that GHOST was "essentially shooting a film. And we used two nights of crowds as extras," he explained. "It's going to be a film with a concert element. So a lot of what you experienced [at the two L.A. shows] is going to be part of this project."

Tobias was also asked if the GHOST film will be similar to METALLICA 's "Through The Never" , which starred members of the iconic rock band and Dane DeHaan ( "Chronicle" , "The Amazing Spider-Man 2" ). DeHaan played a young band crew member who is sent out on an urgent mission while the band is playing a rousing live set in front of a sold-out crowd and unexpectedly finds his world turned completely upside down. Forge replied: "In the sense that it's a concert with something else combined."

At the Forum shows, GHOST performed the song "Twenties" live for the very first time live. They also played their cover of Roky Erikson 's "If You Have Ghosts" , which was originally reimagined by GHOST for their 2013 EP "If You Have Ghost" . The band's version of the track at the Forum featured two cellists with a piano playing, and it was performed on a separate stage from the rest of the set.

Back in 2019, Forge told Revolver that there was a GHOST feature film in the works. He added, however, that this wouldn't be your typical "rockumentary" or even a concert film, but something else entirely.

"Most films about bands are biographical, and I see no reason to tell our story yet," Forge said. "It's a little bit like premature ejaculation. You have to have a career first and then you can tell the real story, so that was never an option. And when you yank away that, what do you have? Well, that would be a fictional story."

When Forge spoke to Revolver about the GHOST film four years ago, he explained that it would be a while before the project came to fruition.

"The cog wheels are turning on that one," he said. "We're just trying to figure out a lot of the practicalities. Making a film is a big endeavor. Another problem that I have had over the course of my career is that I don't have a shit-ton of time. I've learned over the years that it's really important not to do everything at once."

About Porter Robinson:

At age 18, the North Carolina-based producer and songwriter burst onto the scene with a complex, bombastic brand of electro-house. Following the major success of his 2014 debut album Worlds , Porter released the RIAA Gold single “Shelter” with Madeon in 2016, followed by a Shelter Live Tour spanning 43 dates and four continents. The following year, Porter began releasing music under a new alias, Virtual Self, which led to his first Grammy nomination for the BBC Radio 1 hit single “Ghost Voices.” In 2019, Porter put on the first Second Sky Festival, which sold out all 30,000 tickets for the two-day festival in a single day. In both 2020 and 2021, Porter Robinson hosted editions of his virtual festival Secret Sky, amassing over 6 million viewers combined, and which came to be regarded as the most sophisticated virtual festivals of its time. Later in 2021, following the release of sophomore album Nurture, Second Sky Festival made its return to the Bay Area, selling out 40,000 tickets in a single day. Immediately following, the Nurture Live North American Tour sold over 150,000 concert tickets and was the highest grossing electronic tour of 2021. In 2022, in partnership with Riot Games, Robinson released “Everything Goes On” surpassing 100 million global streams . Later that year was his debut of one of two exclusive full live band performances, first at Second Sky 2022 and again in 2023 at the Coachella Main Stage.

Slipknot unveiled on Tuesday that they are heading on tour this summer for their Here Comes the Pain Tour to mark the 25th anniversary of their self-titled debut album. The news comes on the heels of the band’s announcement yesterday, April 29, that they will return to their hometown of Des Moines, Iowa to headline Knotfest 2024 .

The tour will see the group stop in North American cities such as Columbus, Baltimore, New York, Austin, Los Angeles, and Austin. They then head overseas for a slate of dates in Europe and the U.K. The group will bring Knocked Loose on the road for the entirety of the tour. Orbit Culture and Vended will join for select dates.

“Just get ready to have your face kicked in. Because we just do what we do, spread that maggot culture – that disease,” Crahan added. “And you’ve been infected.”

Tickets go on sale for the general public on May 3 at 10 a.m. local time. Fans can expect the group to deliver many of their earliest hits, which helped the group break through to a wider audience.

“We loved what we did with the first record but we didn’t even know if there was gonna be anything after that,” guitarist Jim Root said. “We just wanted people to hear it. Selling out of records and shows, having successful tours — those are goals for any band. But the dream scenario in some ways, came true for us.”

Prove you're not afraid of the dark by taking one of these terrifying tours.

Spookiest Savannah Ghost Tours

While it may seem like a quaint Southern town by day, Savannah, Georgia , is purportedly one of America's most haunted cities. The city's ghostly reputation may be related to the bloody Civil War, the yellow fever epidemics of 1820 and 1876 or the numerous murders that took place throughout its history. These chilling tales make the haunted city of Savannah the perfect backdrop for a ghost tour. Below, you'll find the top U.S. News picks of the best tours in town, compiled using both expert input and traveler sentiment. These haunting tours cater to all crowds, from families with kids to those who need a little liquid courage before seeking out the paranormal.

Savannah Ghost Walker – The Savannah Ghostwalker Tour and Ghost Hunt

Price: From $30 Duration: 2.5 hours

During this tour, guides (or "ghostwalkers") lead you down live oak-lined streets past haunted antebellum homes to battlefields and hidden cemeteries, where paranormal events are a common occurrence. As you walk, ghostwalkers recount the scary stories of Savannah's eerie past. You can even search for otherworldly activity with your own "ghost-hunting" equipment. Travelers enjoy guides' ability to highlight the city's historical facts in their ghost stories. Visitors also say that the electromagnetic field meters add a fun twist to the tour.

Tours generally run nightly at 9 p.m. Savannah Ghostwalker limits its tours to 15 people, and alcohol is not permitted.

Ghost City Tours – Savannah Haunted Pub Crawl

Price: From $30 Duration: 2 hours

This adults-only (21 and older) evening pub crawl takes travelers to some of the city's most haunted pubs and taverns. During this Savannah ghost tour, guides share creepy tales about each bar stop. Thanks to Savannah's lack of open container laws, you can take an alcoholic beverage with you and imbibe along the walk. Most reviewers say the tour provides a fun outing and the ghost stories are entertaining. Others complain of busy bars and expensive drinks.

Tours typically run at 8 p.m. on weekdays and 8, 8:30 and 9 p.m. on weekends, but exact offerings may vary by month. For a more family-friendly experience, consider the company's Grave Tales Tour.

Genteel & Bard – Savannah Dark History & Ghost Encounter Tour

Visit some of Savannah's most haunted locales on this spine-chilling experience. Over nearly a mile, a local tour guide will take small groups through the city, spinning tales about Colonial Park Cemetery and the Sorrel Weed House, among other historic landmarks. Note that the entire tour takes place outside – you do not actually go into any buildings. As a bonus, the guide wears a microphone and all tourgoers receive personal earbuds with a wireless receiver so that they don't miss one scary story. Reviewers mention that guides are passionate, entertaining and great storytellers. They also appreciate the earbuds as there is never an issue with hearing.

Genteel & Bard offers its ghost tour at multiple times between 7:30 and 9 p.m. daily. The company also offers history walking tours and women's history walking tours of Savannah.

Best Savannah Ghost Tours

Blue Orb Tours – Savannah Shadows Tour

Price: Adults from $30; kids from $25 Duration: 1.5 hours

Blue Orb's Savannah Shadows tour is based on the book of the same name written by the company's founder, Tobias McGriff. This tour is suitable for all ages and stops at locations known for their paranormal activity, such as the Hanging Square (generally known as Wright Square). Many reviewers comment that the tour offers the right mix of history and storytelling, along with chilling details. Others say that though the tales are spooky, they aren't too scary for kids.

Tours are typically offered Wednesday through Sunday at 8 p.m. For a real thrill, the company offers an adults-only Zombie Tour that focuses on the Voodoo concept of the walking undead.

Ghost & Gravestones of Savannah – Ghost & Gravestones Trolley Tour

Price: From $36 Duration: 1.5 hours

On the Ghosts & Gravestones trolley tour, you'll drive by cemeteries, squares and mansions known for their ghostly residents. Along the way, you'll visit two of Savannah's most haunted locales: the Andrew Low House and Perkins & Sons Ship Chandlery. The chandlery is located on River Street, which is considered a hotbed of paranormal activity. According to some reviewers, the tour guide's theatrics are cheesy rather than scary. Travelers also warn the chandlery is set up like a haunted house, so you'll want to prepare young children for some startling surprises. The company rates its tour PG-13, though several reviewers say it's family-friendly. Children must be 6 or older, and no one younger than 18 can ride without the supervision of an adult.

Tours depart nightly at various times starting around 7 p.m. Keep in mind: You may be required to climb some stairs while on tour. The company also offers combination tickets for trolley sightseeing tours during the day.

Best Savannah Ghost Tours

Hearse Ghost Tours – Public Hearse Tour

Price: From $40 Duration: About 1.5 hours

Drive through Savannah's spookiest cemeteries and pass through parts of the Historic District in an open-air hearse once used by funeral parlors. Hearses can accommodate up to eight tourgoers. Some reviewers say the guides are funny and entertaining, while others complain the stories lack depth and are not scary.

Tours are offered at multiple times daily between 6 and 10 p.m. There are pickup locations at Franklin, Oglethorpe and Telfair squares in the Historic District. The company also runs private outings and a bar crawl ghost tour.

Shannon Scott Tours & Events – Bonaventure Cemetery After Hours Tour

Price: From $45 Duration: 2 hours

What could be more spine-chilling than being locked behind the gates of Bonaventure Cemetery? On this after-hours cemetery tour, you'll spend an evening listening to humorous and macabre tales of romance and death featuring the city's most notable deceased residents. Reviewers rave about this tour and guide Shannon Scott's storytelling ability; many travelers find him mesmerizing.

Tours run on Saturdays at 6 p.m. Prefer to explore the cemetery while it's still light out? The company also offers cemetery tours during the day.

6th Sense World – Sixth Sense Savannah Ghost Tour

According to reviewers, it's the entertaining guides that set 6th Sense World apart from other ghost tour operators in the city. During the company's ghost tour, you'll hear spooky tales about some of the city's most haunted locales, including the Mercer-Williams House, the Hamilton-Turner Inn and the Candler Hospital, among others. Participants describe the tour as creepy, engaging and educational.

Tours run nightly at multiple times between 7 and 10 p.m., depending on the season and day of the week. Later tours are restricted to participants 16 and older and may cost more. Discounts are available for members of the military. The company also offers daytime tours of Bonaventure Cemetery, among other options.
