Begin your culinary journey with the Perdido Cold Platter showcasing the Gulf's freshest seafood. This appetizer features a dozen Gulf oysters, 1/2 pound Gulf shrimp, blue crab claws, half-warm water lobster, remoulade, cocktail, and mignonette. 

Moving on to the main course, consider the Hibiscus Habanero Seared Gulf Grouper. The fish is cooked perfectly and comes with roasted honeynut squash polenta, charred broccolini, micro parsley, and a pomegranate beet vinaigrette.  

The Center Cut Ribeye is 14 oz certified Angus beef that is dry-aged for a minimum of 35 days. Cooked to your liking by renowned chefs, the ribeye is juicy, tender, and loaded with flavor; it will not disappoint. 

Sides are a la carte and range from purple sweet potato gnocchi with parmesan and salt-crusted baked potato to charred broccolini, to list a few. With the creative selection, there's something for every entree at Voyagers.

Voyagers Restaurant  is located in the lovely Perdido Beach Resort and is just what you would expect for upscale resort dining—perfect for that romantic dinner for two, or maybe your group just wants a more refined dining experience. Voyagers has been the go-to destination for beachfront  fine dining in Gulf Shore s for over thirty years.

View & Atmosphere

Just a few words about the view—well one word will do it really: gorgeous. From the dining room, the walls of full height windows look out over the beach and the sunset. The bright contemporary interiors, with plenty of white crisp linens, set the tone for your dining experience. You can dine indoors, or out on the deck for a more casual feel. And, on Wednesday nights, you can enjoy the music of John Lee Sanders – a little bluesy, jazzy, and spiritual musical mix – the perfect pairing for the lovely Gulf view.

Food & Wine at Voyagers Restaurant

Voyager’s Restaurant on Orange Beach  menu offers fresh, sustainable seafood paired with seasonal vegetables gathered from local farms. Try one of their appetizers to get your meal started right – Ostrich Carpaccio, Lionfish Tiradito, the Fried Green Tomato Crab Stack, or the Moroccan Spiced Calamari.

Specialties include Gulf Grouper, Roasted Gulf Whole Fish, Sumac Roasted Swordfish or their own version of Paella. There are plenty of meat options too, including a Slow-aged Prime Bone-in Filet Mignon, a Hanging Tenderloin, a Porterhouse, or the Venison Chop. Go over the top and add a crown of Crab Oscar, Foie Gras, half a Spiny Lobster Tail or add a Smoked Bone Marrow Butter Sauce. Don’t forget to order a side of their Purple Sweet Potato Gnocchi or Bayside Blue Mac.

Their wine list includes over 130 selections and offers something for every palate – whether you are a novice or a true wine connoisseur.

Located in the Perdido beach resort. Initially traversing through the lobby and other cafe restaurant is not very impressive. Once inside this restaurant the ambiance improves. A number of tables look about the the beach and in summer weather would make for nice evening views.... The menu has seafood and steaks/chops. They are more known fro quality steaks. The oyster appetizers are good. The wine menu is limited to just a few wineries but adequate. They offer quite a few Cain Choices; this is because the winery owner also owns the resort. They give 30% discount on bottles of Cain Five ( a good wine) when ordering a steak. Steaks are brought out on hot pewter plates. Also get the sea salt baked potato-delicious. Service was very attentive. More

We had only been to Voyagers one previous time and thought it was just ok. We decided to go back and give it another try and so glad we did. It really was a fantastic meal! My husband had the bone in rib-eye with a... side dish of corn( not just corn but a souped up version) and he said the flavor was great. He loves a good steak and says it was one of the best he has had!!! I had the grouper served over the same type corn and tomatoes and it was so yummy! Our waiter was knowledgeable and helped with recommendations on the menu. We were celebrating a birthday and we got chocolate covered strawberries which was the perfect sweet to close out the meal. It has a fantastic views, we just dined later so did not get to enjoy that part. Highly recommend and we will definitely be going back. It is more fine dining and can be a little pricey especially if having cocktails! More

A great experience all-around. The food was superb. Savory flavors, tender cuts of meat, delicious and inventive sides and a nice variety of seafood, beef, chicken and other choices made it a 5-star meal. Don't miss the pork belly creamed corn side. The staff was... very accommodating and attentive. The maitre d was very kind and invited us to view the July 4th fireworks on the restaurant's balcony - and what a great fireworks show it was. The food here is fun. It is not epic, but it is good for the price. The service and atmosphere is unmatched in OB. The party chef needs his own TV show and I do not eat desserts and we ordered three to take home... in addition to scarfing one down there. Everyone was pleasant and the production was amazing. I did NOT get to see anyone eat the Ostrich but really wanted to see it. They have a bone in fillet. I HIGHLY suggest the corn Carmel mousse for dessert (yes it is made of corn) and the 7 layer mousse cake. The hubs had the best shrimp he ever ate in his life. The only reason I did not give this 5 stars is because the bone in fillet was just OK. Everything else was unreal. More

Four of us enjoyed a delightful dinner overlooking the Gulf of Mexico. All cocktails, starters and main courses were nicely prepared from fresh products. A star was the whole baked pompano. The wine list was well developed and fairly priced. The service was fine and... atmosphere very inviting. We will return. More

Do you have an all time favorite? Voyagers Restaurant is hands down ours. My husband and I have been enjoying dinners at Voyagers for as long as I can remember. If you want a date night, a special night with family or a group of... friends, you MUST go to Voyagers. The moment you walk in the door, Eddy, the manager will direct you to a fabulous table overlooking the beautiful beach at Perdido Beach Resort. And, he will continue to make your evening absolutely special! Cocktails are always perfect, wine selection superb, service a step above all others at the beach and everything on the menu is absolutely the best!!! You can't go wrong with anything you order. The attention to detail, like the soft boiled quail egg on your salad, do not go unnoticed. And, the perfect end to every meal are the complementary chocolate dipped strawberries!! The dinner and server (Craig) were excellent! We dined as a family with our children ages 11 & 13. Appetizers seafood tower and foie gras broiled oysters (so good). My kids both had the chicken fried lobster, grits with champagne butter sauce and collard greens... and both said their entrees were wonderful. I had the petite file and root vegetable au gratin with bone marrow butter (wonderful) and my husband had the dry aged ribeye, bone marrow butter, a side of the blue, he had the roasted Brussels, beets and carrots and absolutely raved about his meal. The kids still had room for dessert and the creme brûlée and 7 layer chocolate cake (literally best dessert we ever had). We’ve dined at many places and give this 5 stars. Waiter was also spectacular and added to the enjoyment. We are from the Chicagoland area visiting and really enjoyed the chef’s talent and menu. Well done and we will be back. More

We had an amazing meal with our group of 8...all adults ages 23-60. This is a NICE place. The food was exceptional (described as "the best meal I've ever had..." and "OMG") and the service with Damien was incredible. Our group laughed and felt relaxed.... It's pricey (group of 8 with gratuity was about $1400, including 3 reasonably priced bottles of vino and cocktails) but if you want at least one really nice meal in a great environment, this should be a stop. The chef made a special vegetarian dish for one guest as well. They take reservations (rare in Gulf Shores and Orange beach) which is nice. More

Really great meal, we will be back. Service was fantastic (think the waiters name was Craig). We were immediately seated group of 4. Ordered the Charcuterie Plate and Oysters Rockefeller (best Rockefeller I have had, ever) for apps. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the... wines and made a great recommendation. We had our 2 kids with us ages 8 and 11. They ordered the filet and chicken fried lobster and loved them. The wife ordered grouper and I had the bone in filet. They were fantastic. We did not order a desert as we had cake at the house but they brought out chocolate strawberries due to is being her birthday. Will definitely be back. More

This is my new #1 fine dining restaurant in the orange beach area. It is located in Perdido beach resort. There will be valet parking. Upon entering the spacious lobby has a open area bar. Get a drink before dinner, listen to piano player, enjoy... the beach view. You can sit outside. Then proceed to the restaurant. You will walk through a different restaurant; don’t get discouraged, the Voyagers is on the other side. They have nice window tables with views. The menu is not exhaustive with some terrific steaks and some seafood. The steaks are fantastic. The Caesar salad is unique and best ever. The wine menu is good. They also allow bringing your own wine with a $15 corkage fee. Service was outstanding. More

We suggest this restaurant if you are looking to get away from the noise of the beach. The views of the gulf are amazing and the ambiance of the restaurant is tranquil. Robin the host greeted us with a smile and a warming welcome. Our... server Victor was a skilled server that is not often found in the post Covid dining times. He was well versed in the wine list and menu selections, offered an honest review of a dish and did not suggest the most expensive of everything when asked for a recommendation. We decided on the wedge salad each, the wedge was compact with tight layers, a fried onion component was placed on the salad instead of bacon and it was a welcome addition. The Oysters Rockefeller presented well and were of the classic flavor profile. The grouper was perfectly cooked with a nice sear and a flaky center. We finished with a Myers’s and Mango bread pudding that presented and tasted great. This was a very good experience on the beach. More

This was a special 65th birthday celebration and I wanted it to be perfect. The venue is beautiful with spectacular views. We started out with cocktails-a Lemon Drop and a Southern Fashion which were both very good. They were accompanied by fresh sourdough bread with... butter and a delicious sweet pepper spread. Our appetizers were perfectly prepared Oysters Rockefeller and Bienville. Next, we shared a Bibb Lettuce Salad with Beets and finished things off with an Aged Ribeye ($54). We've enjoyed Thanksgiving dinner in the Perdido Beach Resort ballroom...this year we chose Voyagers Restaurant there and a good choice it was!! We had a table for two with a beach/Gulf of Mexico view, Viktor was our friendly and attentive server, the noise level was... low, and the buffet food was really good. Voyagers is so much more intimate and cozy. The buffet menu was really extensive, lots of good veggie side dishes, seafood lasagna, swordfish, turkey and dressings, carving station with prime rib and pork, and a nice dessert selection. Everything was absolutely perfect from the time we walked in until we left. We had open table reservations and were seated at a beautiful water view table. The food and service was amazing. The owner was really nice. I love the ambiance here especially when the sun is just about to go down. It's super cute with the swings. We ordered a daiquiri flight with Miami vice, the bushwhacker, the Pina colada, and the mango. The mango was my favorite and very sweet. I'd skip the Pina colada next time and just get the Miami vice with strawberry Pina colada. The bushwhacker was yummy too with the actual chocolate walls. $18 with tax is not bad at all. I want to come back next time I'm in the area and maybe get their mimosa flight.

So much fun! $16 for a flight of daiquiris gives you the chance to try a few! they were all so delicious and you can sit on swings over the bay while you drink them. Highly recommend!

Check out this fantastic new addition to the beach community! Locally owned and operated by a very lovely couple Scott and Laura who are super friendly and obviously know what they're doing. High Tide Daiquiris & Mimosas is the name and while there's a lot of excellent choices for those drinks, but there's also beer and wine, non-alcohol cocktails, and there's some very good food choices as well. There's apps, sandwiches, paninis, wraps, and some pretty amazing charcuterie boards. No fried seafood or greasy stuff here, just some icy cold drinks and well thought out cool food. It's a nicely done space by the water for drinking or dining inside or outside with a relaxed atmosphere. When it comes to the drinks, my sweetheart's favorite is the strawberry daiquiri, with banana mixed in per Scott's recommendation and mine is the Key Lime margarita, that really hits the spot on hot days. Couple favorite apps are the chips and pineapple pico and the lobster dip, wait what? Yes I said lobster dip, and these New England expats are picky when it comes to "lobstah" and we recommend theirs :-) It's situated on the waterway connecting Little Lagoon and Lake Shelby on the west side of Gulf Shores Pkwy (Hwy 59) just pass the old David's Gallery. I'm being real specific here because it's kind of tucked away and a little below the parkway and you need to turn in at the old David's gallery just before the bridge. So go slow and plan your turn ahead of time because you don't want to miss it, seriously. Bottom line: Clean nice spaces inside & out, nice sunsets, delicious drinks, good food & friendly helpful folks. Highly recommended!!!!

My family was excited to try this business based on reviews and social media pictures. The photographer does a fantastic job making it appear much larger than it actually is. We arrived and had a group in front of us and a lady selling jewelry in the corner. Back to that in a moment. It took probably 10 to 12 minutes to get drinks for the group in front of us , so we finally able to order. As we ordered we discovered they were out of several drinks and appetizers. We settled on pimento cheese and bruschetta. It took about 20 minutes to get this with no other food coming out. Very slow. Meanwhile the lady with jewelry and the bartender stared at us while we tried to eat our snack. It was very odd and uncomfortable feeling. Overall it was not a good experience and we would not go back

Really enjoyed it. Our charcuterie board was SO good. I also highly recommend the creamsicle daiquiri However, I gave it 4 stars bc there isn't much seating. We had to leave & came back when the crowd filtered out.

The absolute cutest place! Stopped in while on vacation and will definitely be back. Service was great and we enjoyed everything we had- breakfast board, mimosa flight and daiquiri flight.

Awesome spot in Gulf Shores. Friendly and family run. These guys have an array of fun beach drinks as well as killer charcuterie boards. Not the mention the view of the lagoon can't be beat. And you can sit in sturdy adult sized swings while you sip and look at the scenery. Although we didn't have time take the paddle boats out - I can't wait to go back and try paddling around in the flamingo boat! Such a fun and delicious place. A must try when you are in the area.

Very inviting business run presumably by father and son. The mimosa flight is a very good way to start your beach vacation. My wife says that their daiquiris are the best she's ever had!

Very unorganized. The turkey cranberry goat cheese panini was terrible. The meat was some kind of processed lunch meat. The chips were stale. Will not be back. On a positive note the iced coffee was good.

Friendly staff and cute spot! The drinks were 10/10. We had lemonades, daiquiris and coffee and they were all really good!

After this weekend’s Hangout Music Festival , in which thousands will descend on Gulf Shores’ public beaches, the city will decide whether it wants to continue its relationship with the 14-year-old festival, which brings A-List musical talent—and national attention — to the beaches.

“The producers of the Hangout Music Festival have been great partners, but a lot has changed in Gulf Shores over the last ten years,” Gulf Shores Mayor Robert Craft said in a statement. “As long as we can work things out, we would love to have them back.”
