Burleigh Travel have always had consumer protection in place to make good any money paid to us in the event of the financial collapse or failure of an airline, hotel or any other provider. This pledge has been honoured since the foundation of Burleigh Travel over 30 years ago and no client has suffered financial loss from such a failure.  

ATOL PROTECTION

All flights that we book are ATOL protected through our flight consolidators Air Travel Organisation Licence (ATOL) which has been granted by the Civil Aviation Authority (ATOL number 2916).

TOTAL PAYMENT PROTECTION (TOPP) POLICY COVER & PACKAGE TRAVEL REGULATIONS

For non-flight packages, in compliance with The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018, an insurance policy has been arranged with Travel & General Insurance Services Limited (T&G) to protect customers’ prepayments in the unlikely event of our financial failure, and paid in respect of non-flight packages sold by the Policyholder as principal to the contract

• A refund of such prepayments if customers have not yet travelled, or
• Making arrangements to enable the holiday to continue if customers have already travelled
• Repatriation of customers as may be applicable, subject to the terms of the insurance policy.

Customers’ pre-payments are protected by a topp policy.

Burleigh Travel are one of only a few tour companies who can arrange for these three age groups to attend the same festival, stay at the same venue whilst not being overpriced. Many thanks to Chris, Scott, Carolyn and the rest of the Burleigh team for their assistance before and during the tour. It’s the second year we’ve used Burleigh travel and already looking to book again next year!

Bridgend Athletic RFC U12 & U14, The Big Devon Bash (May 2024)

Wow, where to start? So this was our inaugural tour and we quite frankly didn't know where to begin, other than the fact we wanted to go to the Big Devon Bash. We needn't have worried, Burleigh were superb throughout the whole process. Any questions, they were quick to respond any clarifications, they cleared up in no time and were responsive and clear throughout. The accommodation was more than adequate. It was clean and comfortable enough. Food pretty good, activities for the kids, could maybe be a bit better suited to the age group, (ZIP lining was really well received but Aero ball didn't really get the boys too excited). We stayed at Barton Hall PGL in Torquay. The festival itself was really well organised and there was a great atmosphere throughout. There was a slight mismatch in our first pool game, but I suppose that will happen sometimes. Saturday night back at the accommodation was a really great atmosphere. A cracking band "The Sound", lots of after tournament stories shared and new friends made. Just a great experience all round. Cant wait for next year.

Harrow RFC U14, The Big Devon Bash (May 2024)

We used Burleigh travel to book a Rugby tour for 40 people (adults and children). The accommodation was great and the rugby tournament was well run with medals and a trophy for the best player. The staff were excellent and and always helpful over the phone and via email. We had to make changes along the way and they were always available and really accomodating and supportive.

Chichester RFC U12, West Country Challenge (April 2024)

I recently led a tour of Minchinhampton RFC Colts to Amsterdam for the Hilversum Rugby Festival. What a fantastic experience. The festival itself was on of the best I have ever been to. Superbly well organised and great fun. Rugby standard was perfect to. Burleigh travels organisation of the trip was second to none. The bus was great, accommodation excellent for what we wanted and the guidance we received was perfect.

I cannot recommend it enough. Boys and parents were delighted. We have already booked for next year.
