Today, four-time GRAMMY® award-winning and diamond-certified rock legends Aerosmith announce their return to the road with PEACE OUT™ featuring special guests The Black Crowes, who are fresh off their first release in nearly 15 years , HAPPINESS BASTARDS . Additionally, a very special one-night-only performance from Teddy Swims is set at the tour kickoff in Pittsburgh, PA. Fans first heard that one of the most significant American rock bands in history were embarking on their final tour with a special announcement video celebrating this not-to-be-missed final tour.

Every night will pay homage to the five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits as they celebrate over 50 years as America’s greatest rock band. In addition, THX will bring their THX Certified Live! high-fidelity experience on the road, calibrating each arena with leading-edge technology so fans don’t miss a beat of Aerosmith’s classic rock tunes in quality audio.

Produced by Live Nation, the monumental 40-date North American tour will include 3 news shows in addition to the rescheduled dates. PEACE OUT™ is set to kick off in Pittsburgh, PA and include stops in iconic arenas across the U.S. and Canada, including Los Angeles’ Kia Forum, New York’s Madison Square Garden, Austin’s Moody Center, Seattle’s Climate Pledge Arena, Chicago’s United Center, Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, and more before wrapping in Montreal, QC at Bell Centre on January 26, 2025. A highlight of the tour will be a stop in Boston for a special hometown show on New Year’s Eve 2024.

Aerosmith bringing farewell tour to Charlotte

In a joint statement, Aerosmith shared, “It’s not goodbye it’s PEACE OUT! Get ready and walk this way, you’re going to get the best show of our lives.”

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (WBTV) – Aerosmith is saying “Peace Out.”

The Grammy-winning rock and roll legends announced their farewell “Peace Out” Tour on Monday, and there will be two North Carolina stops.

Aerosmith will play the Spectrum Center in Charlotte on Tuesday, Oct. 17. It’s preceded by a Sept. 24 stop at Raleigh’s PNC Arena.

Special guest The Black Crowes will join the band on their 40-date North American tour, which kicks off in Philadelphia on Sept. 2 and wraps up in Montreal on Jan. 26, 2024.

General on-sale tickets begin Friday, May 5 at 10 a.m.

Known for hits like “Dream On,” “Walk This Way,” Sweet Emotion,” “Cryin’” and “I Don’t Want to Miss A Thing,” the Steven Tyler-fronted rock outfit will also be celebrating a milestone, as this year marks the 50th anniversary of the release of the band’s self-titled debut album.

The band announced that drummer Joey Kramer will be absent on this tour run in order to “focus his full attention on his family and health.”

Aerosmith Announces Rescheduled 2024 ‘Peace Out’ Farewell Tour Dates Ft. The Black Crowes

Take two:  Aerosmith will try once again to say goodbye with new, rescheduled dates for the band’s  Peace Out farewell tour with  The Black Crowes . The classic rockers were due to hang it up last year but postponed the tour three shows in as Steven Tyler recovered from vocal cord damage.

The  Peace Out tour will resume on September 20th with a newly added show in Pittsburgh featuring opener Teddy Swims instead of The Black Crowes. Aerosmith has also added new concerts in Philadelphia (9/23) and Orlando (2/11) to the tour, now set to run until February 26th, 2025 when it closes in Buffalo, NY. Of note, the adjusted tour dates include a homecoming show in Boston on New Year’s Eve.

Aerosmith was barely a week into its farewell tour when Tyler’s vocal issues forced the band to hit pause. The tour will celebrate the band’s 50-plus-year run with hits from throughout its career. In an announcement video shared last year, Aerosmith confronted hesitance from the public to believe the “farewell tour” gambit, with Tyler quipping, “And if you think we’re joking, dream on.”

Along with last year’s announcement, Aerosmith shared that drummer Joey Kramer , who sat out the band’s 2022 Las Vegas residency, will not join the band on tour: “While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health. Joey’s unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed,” the band said.

Kramer previously took Aerosmith to court in 2020 for excluding him from appearing with the band at the Grammys. The drummer was temporarily sidelined from the band’s Las Vegas residency due to injury, and upon his recovery was forced to audition for his own band—at which point he took Aerosmith to court. Kramer ultimately rejoined his bandmates onstage in Las Vegas just before the COVID pandemic shut down live music, but in 2022 took a “temporary leave of absence” from the group and has yet to return.

Aerosmith have unveiled the dates for their rescheduled North American farewell tour, taking place from September 2024 through February 2025. As was the case with the original itinerary, the “Peace Out” tour will feature support from The Black Crowes .

The legendary rock act had kicked off the tour in September 2023, but the outing only lasted three shows before singer Steven Tyler experienced a serious vocal injury. The band was forced to postpone the remaining dates indefinitely.

Now, Aerosmith have announced that the rescheduled tour will launch September 20th in Pittsburgh, and run through a February 26th show in Buffalo, New York. Along the way, they’ll play Los Angeles on December 7th; a hometown New Year’s Eve show in Boston on December 31st; and New York City’s Madison Square Garden on February 23rd, among dozens of other cities.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for the rescheduled shows, while tickets for the new dates go on sale Friday (April 12th) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster .

The kickoff show in Pittsburgh on September 20th and the next one in Philadelphia on September 23rd are being made up despite those being two of the cities Aerosmith did get to play in 2023, perhaps acknowledging that Tyler’s voice wasn’t up to par at those concerts.

When the tour originally launched last September, Aerosmith featured a lineup of original members Tyler, guitarists Joe Perry and Brad Whitford, and bassist Tom Hamilton, along with drummer John Douglas (who’s been filling in for Joey Kramer the past few years) and keyboardist Buck Johnson. While no announcement has been made, it is assumed that the same lineup will set out this coming September.

Tyler had recently been embroiled in a lawsuit alleging the sexual assault of a minor in the 1970s, but that suit was tossed out by a judge in February.

The Black Crowes, meanwhile, recently released Happiness Bastards , their first new album in 15 years. They will be on board for all of the dates except the kickoff show in Pittsburgh, where Teddy Swims will have the honor of opening for Aerosmith.

Aerosmith Announces Rescheduled Peace Out Farewell Tour Dates

Aerosmith has announced the rescheduled dates for their Peace Out farewell tour.

The band initially launched the tour on Sept. 2, 2023 in Philadelphia, but were forced off the road after just three shows when singer Steven Tyler suffered damage to his vocal cords.

Except for opening night, the Black Crowes will once again serve as the support act for the tour, which kicks off Sept. 20 in Pittsburgh and is scheduled to conclude on Jan. 26 in Buffalo. You can see a complete list of dates below. Teddy Swims will serve as the opening act on Sept. 20.

All previously purchased tickets will be honored for all rescheduled shows. Tickets for newly added shows and the remaining tickets for the rescheduled shows will go on sale Friday, April 12 at 10AM local time.

When originally announcing the tour, Aerosmith revealed that drummer Joey Kramer would not be participating. John Douglas took his place at the band's 2023 Peace Out shows.  "While Joey Kramer remains a beloved founding member of Aerosmith, he has regrettably made the decision to sit out the currently scheduled touring dates to focus his full attention on his family and health," the group explained. "Joey's unmistakable and legendary presence behind the drum kit will be sorely missed."

Aerosmith Announce Rescheduled Dates for Peace Out Farewell Tour

Aerosmith have announced rescheduled dates for their Peace Out farewell tour, which was suspended in September 2023 because Steven Tyler fractured his larynx. This new leg kicks off Sept. 20 in Pittsburgh and wraps up Feb. 26 in Buffalo, New York. They’ll once again be joined by the Black Crowes.

The band announced plans to wrap their career with one final tour in May 2023, but they played a mere three shows before Tyler severely hurt his larynx. “I am heartbroken to not be out there with Aerosmith, my brothers, and the incredible Black Crowes, rocking with the best fans in the world,” he wrote in a message to fans. “I promise we will be back as soon as we can!”

Aerosmith 2024 Farewell Tour: How to Get Tickets

A erosmith’s upcoming farewell tour is going to be a huge deal and likely the last time the band will tour indefinitely. They won’t trek the US and Canada alone, either. Teddy Swims will open for the first tour date and The Black Crowes will be opening for the remaining tour dates. The Peace Out Tour was slated for last year, but after Steven Tyler suffered a serious vocal injury, the dates had to be postponed. Now it looks like the band is ready to kick off their very last tour, and tickets are selling out lightning-fast! We’ll break down how to snag seats to this tour before they’re gone for good.

The final farewell Aerosmith 2024 Tour will kick off on September 20 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania at PPG Paints Arena with support from Teddy Swims. The last tour date will be February 26, 2025 in Buffalo, New York at the KeyBank Center with support from The Black Crowes.

Fans have quite a few options for securing tickets. Tickets and VIP packages can be found on Aerosmith’s website . There are no presale events for this tour, and most of the tour dates are available for public on-sale. Some of the dates toward the end of the tour will be available for general sale later today via Ticketmaster .

Stubhub is another top-notch platform for finding tickets. Once the tour dates get closer, tickets will begin selling out fast. If your chosen tour date has sold out, Stubhub may have some tickets available. And with the FanProtect Program, you won’t have to worry about scams that are all too common with third-party ticketing platforms.

Four-time GRAMMY® award-winning and diamond-certified rock legends  Aerosmith  have announced their final outing – PEACE OUT™ – with special guest  The Black Crowes . Fans will see one of the most significant American rock bands in history one last time during this not-to-be-missed final tour.

Every night will celebrate the five decades of Aerosmith’s groundbreaking hits as they celebrate 50 years as America’s greatest rock band.
