“Man, what a year 2022 has been with the Dangerous Tour . I had the time of my life, and I cannot begin to express how grateful I am that my fans connected with the Dangerous album the way they did,” Wallen shares. “I’ve had so many people ask me if I wanted to take some time off; but the truth is – I have been writing and making so much music in my off-time because I feel as inspired as I ever have. It feels like new songs are pouring out of me, and I love that feeling. We are going to run it back next year with the One Night At A Time World Tour . Bigger venues. New countries. Bigger memories. See y’all there.”
As one of the biggest artists in the world with Dangerous continuing to notch historical chart status as Billboard’s longest running Top 10 album in history for a solo artist (eclipsing Adele’s 21 and Bruce Springsteen’s Born In The USA ), the 2022 American Music Awards ’ Favorite Male Artist and Favorite Country Song winner adds, “Also, I’m not quite done making this new album, so I’m going to keep making it through the holiday break and early January to chase this inspiration. I promise I won’t wait too long to reveal the album details. To hold you over, I’m dropping three new songs today as a sampler of what I’ve been working on. Can’t wait to take it one night at a time in 2023.”
Wallen’s 2022 Dangerous Tour spanned over 50 shows and broke records in 30 venues across the country during its 8-month-long run. Morgan Cole Wallen first gained attention in 2014 as a contestant on the sixth season of TV talent show, The Voice. During his audition, the Tennessee-native impressed the judges with his rendition of Howie Day’s “Collide.”
After being eliminated in the season’s playoffs, the country singer signed with Panacea Records.
A year later, Morgan Wallen released his debut EP, Stand Alone. The first single, “Spin You Around,” went on to be certified gold by the RIAA. In 2015, Morgan Wallen’s manager sent a demo of the country singer to Big Loud Records. They signed him the following year.
Under Big Loud, Morgan Wallen released the lead single from his upcoming debut album, “The Way I Talk,” which reached number 35 on Billboard’s Hot Country Songs chart. Shortly after, he joined country music duo Florida Georgia Line on the band’s “Dig Your Roots” Tour.
Morgan Wallen’s debut album, If I Know Me, dropped in 2018. It climbed to number one on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. The album’s second single, “Up Down,” was recorded with Florida Georgia Line and reached number one on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart. Wallen joined the duo again for the “Can’t Say I Ain’t Country” Tour in 2019.
In May 2020, Morgan Wallen released the lead single, “More Than My Hometown,” for his upcoming second studio album. The song peaked at the top of the Billboard Country Airplay chart. In August that year, he released, “7 Summers.” The song debuted at number six on the Billboard Hot 100 chart and broke Apple Music’s record for the most streams of a country song in one day.
The very same month, 2018’s “If I Know Me” reached number one on the Top Country Albums chart after a record-breaking 114 weeks. It has since been certified double platinum by the RIAA.
Morgan Wallen released his second studio record, Dangerous: The Double Album, in January 2021. It debuted at number one on both the US Billboard 200 and Canadian Albums charts. Soon after, the country singer became the first artist in history to have six tracks in the Top 10 Hot Country Songs at the same time.
Just a month after its release, Dangerous: The Double Album became the only country album to spend its first seven weeks at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. After 10 weeks at the top, it surpassed Whitney Houston’s 1987 Whitney for the longest-running spot. Four of the album’s singles also reached number one on the Billboard charts.
Morgan Wallen won three Billboard Music Awards in 2021, including Top Country Artist, Top Country Male Artist, and Top Country Album. In 2022, he won an Academy of Country Music Award for Dangerous: The Double Album, and collaborated with Tyler Joe Miller on his song “Wild as Her.”
From competing on The Voice to producing chart-topping singles, Morgan Wallen’s career has shown no signs of slowing down. Catch him live on “The Dangerous Tour” now through the end of the year.
Live reviews
Morgan Wallen put on a Great Show last night opening for Jake Owen and David Lee Murphy. His distinctive voice has you hooked from the very first song. He is all over the stage with some great moves. He keeps you smiling from start to finish. He sang his hits plus some songs from his album “If I Know Me” and an outstanding version of You Give Love A Bad Name. After his last song, I just wanted to hear more!! This guy should be headlining!! I’d be first in line to get tickets!!

HIXTAPE VOL. 3: DIFFTAPE COMING MARCH 29...
When 11-time 2023 Billboard Music Awards-winner and Top Male Artist Morgan Wallen released his third studio album One Thing At A Time in 2023, its instant success left The New York Times proclaiming Wallen as “one of the biggest stars in pop, period.” One Thing At A Time has remained atop the all-genre Billboard 200 chart for 18 non-consecutive weeks, tying Garth Brooks’ Ropin’ the Wind with the most weeks at No. 1 for a country album; and was the most-streamed album of the year on Spotify. The album’s 6x-Platinum single “Last Night” reeled in over 1.5 billion streams globally, becoming the most-streamed song of any genre in the U.S. across Apple Music and Spotify, and the longest running No. 1 solo song in Hot 100 history (16 weeks total).
With 11 chart-toppers at country radio, Wallen recently wrapped his five countries / three continents 57-show One Night At A Time World Tour stadium tour. Playing to over 1 million fans in 2022 and 2023, Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour was the only country tour named to Deadline ’s “Top 10 Music Tours of 2023,” surpassing attendance records in numerous stops; including Ohio Stadium, where Wallen became the largest weekend ever for the venue, shattering records previously held by George Strait and Taylor Swift. Resuming this April in Indianapolis, Ind., the 2024 extension of One Night At A Time takes Wallen to 29 additional stadium-plays. Wallen donates $3 from every U.S. ticket sold to his Morgan Wallen Foundation .

It’s a wrap for the Mane Stage at this year’s Stagecoach Country Music Festival , but not without a grand finale from headliner Morgan Wallen that featured Post Malone and an unreleased song.

It was a different story for the fans not in attendance, who expressed widespread disappointment after it was discovered that Amazon Prime wouldn’t be live-streaming the performance. It’s unclear why the decision by the streaming-giant was made.

Morgan Wallen enlists Peyton and Eli Manning to announce he’s extending concert tour
- Show more sharing options

The Manning brothers are proving they can do it all: football, acting, comedy, broadcasting and now, Morgan Wallen concert promotion.
Peyton and Eli Manning lent a helping hand to country megastar Wallen to assist him in announcing his 2024 U.S. tour dates.
The announcement video , which dropped Tuesday, begins with Peyton Manning donning a mullet wig — very reminiscent of Wallen’s signature hairstyle, which is currently on hiatus — and singing along to Wallen’s hit song “Last Night.” The former Indianapolis Colts quarterback then answers a FaceTime call from the “Wasted on You” singer, who asks him how the concert promotion is going.
Wallen then makes sure to remind the already-in-costume NFL Hall of Famer of the specific guidelines he set for the video: no dressing up (whoops!), no singing (whoops, again) and don’t “overdo it with the bad jokes” (ouch).
36 songs, no apologies: Morgan Wallen delivers more (much more) of what made him country’s king
Wallen’s new opus is destined to be one of the year’s best sellers, despite (or because of) its unwillingness to address the singer’s scandal from 2021.
March 3, 2023
The elder Manning responds to Wallen’s requests, saying, “If you wanted someone who doesn’t know how to look cool and can’t sing or tell jokes, you should’ve called Eli.”
Wallen then ponders the NFL legend’s suggestion before adding, “Eli, that’s a great idea,” and hanging up. The video then kicks over to Eli Manning, who delivers the news that Wallen’s One Night at a Time tour is extending into the new year, with new dates beginning in April 2024.
Sadly for Wallen’s L.A. fans, the country artist will not be making any additional tour stops in the greater L.A. area — he performed at Inglewood’s SoFi Stadium in July. But the singer will be the April 28 headliner on the third day of Stagecoach 2024 in Indio. Also, the 2024 tour will close out with an Aug. 8 show at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas. So there will be a couple of opportunities for SoCal Wallen-heads to see the superstar nearby.
Tuesday’s video ends with Peyton Manning desperately trying to get in touch with Wallen.
Morgan Wallen may face lawsuits after abruptly canceled concert in Mississippi
Morgan Wallen faces possible lawsuits and ire from fans after abruptly canceling his concert in Mississippi. The musician is on vocal rest.
April 25, 2023
“Morgan, looks like I got your voicemail again, pal,” the two-time Super Bowl winner said. “Guess I’m really ‘Chasing You.’ Get it? Like your song. All right, call me when you get this. It’s Peyton. Peyton Manning.”
Wallen has seen his career bounce back in recent years after he was caught on tape in 2021 saying a racial slur.
“Take care of this p— ass m—,” he said in the video, published by TMZ , and then uttered the N-word.
After the video went public, Wallen said, “I’m embarrassed and sorry. I used an unacceptable and inappropriate racial slur that I wish I could take back. There are no excuses to use this type of language, ever.”
Morgan Wallen’s career is in free-fall after country singer used a racist slur
A backlash is ballooning against Morgan Wallen after the popular country music artist was recorded shouting a racist slur outside his Nashville home.
Feb. 3, 2021
His record labels, Big Loud Records and Republic Records, released a statement that read: “In the wake of recent events, Big Loud Records has made the decision to suspend Morgan Wallen’s recording contract indefinitely. Republic Records fully supports Big Loud’s decision and agrees such behavior will not be tolerated.”
Wallen’s hyper-successful 2023 album “ One Thing at a Time ” was released through Big Loud and Republic, as well as Mercury Records.
His music was removed temporarily from iHeartMedia, CMT, SiriusXM and Pandora, while Spotify and Apple Music took his songs off their official playlists at the time of the controversy. His music is now available on these platforms again, with Wallen’s image currently being used as the cover art for Spotify’s “Country Top 50” playlist .

Morgan Wallen Arrested On Felony Charges Days After He Denounced Fans For Booing Taylor Swift
The singer’s arrest came days after he kicked off the 2024 leg of his “One Night at a Time World Tour” earlier this month. He is set to renew it on Saturday in Oxford, Mississippi.
Two officers were in front of Chief’s Bar, a six-story bar-restaurant on Broadway, at the time of the incident. They saw the chair fall, Nashville police said.
Wallen was arrested and charged with three counts of reckless endangerment and disorderly conduct.
He is due in Nashville court on May 3 for “settlement.”
Chief’s is owned by country singer Eric Church and opened its doors just two days prior to the incident.
