Often referred to as Queen of hill stations, Ooty is one of the best hill stations in India and among the top places to visit in Tamilnadu . Ooty is situated at a distance of 265 km from Bangalore. At an altitude of 7,440 feet, Ooty was a popular summer retreat for the British during colonial days. The rolling hills, lush green vegetation, and misty landscapes attract a large number of tourists to this hill station. 11. Kolli Hills

At a distance 50 km from Namakkal, 87 km from Salem, 135 km from Trichy & 395 km from Chennai, Kolli Hills or Kolli Malai is a small mountain range located in Namakkal district of Tamil Nadu. Located at about 7000 ft above the sea-level, Kodaikanal was established as a destination by British bureaucrats and Christian missionaries in the year of 1845. However, the earliest references to the stunning hill station can be found as early as the Sangam literature time. However the modern era of Kodaikanal began only after the British came in. It served as a summer retreat and a vacation spot for the colonial power. Ever since those days, Kodaikanal has been a popular choice among hill station lovers for a quick escape up the mountains.  The verdant hills, the cascading waterfalls, picturesque lakes, pristine countrysides – the reason why Kodaikanal has been popular among tourists are many. Its name in the Tamil language means "The Gift of the Forest". Kolukkumalai is about 7,130 feet (2,170 m) above sea level and lies some 32 kilometres (20 mi) from Munnar. Palni hills, 15. palni hills (dindigul).

Sathuragiri hills, 16. sathuragiri (virudhunagar).

Sathuragiri Hills or Chathuragiri, otherwise known as ' Sundara Mahalingam ' is situated 10 km from Watrap (Wathirairuppu) near Srivilliputhur and is among the most spiritual tourist places in Tamil Nadu. The name Sathuragiri came from Chathur (4) Veda (Vedas) Giri (Hill), i.e. where all the four Vedas met and formed the hill. Another meaning is that the whole mountain is square (Chathuram) in shape so the name Chathuragiri. This is also called as "Siddargal boomi". 18 Siddhas were said to live here.

17. sirumalai (dindigul).

Sirumalai is a dense forest region with moderate climate throughout the year. With an altitude of 1,600 metres above sea- level, this is one of the tourist places in Tamil Nadu that contains diversified flora and fauna. The hill has 18 hairpin bends. On the 18th bend is a church and a view point of Dindigul city and the "Dindigul Rock Fort". The hill contains a small waterfall as well.

It is located 3,500 feet above sea- level on the Anaimalai Hills range of the Western Ghats, at a distance of 100 km from Coimbatore and 65 km from Pollachi. There are 40 hairpin bends on the way up to Valparai from Azhiyar, making the ride between these two tourist places in Tamil Nadu thrilling.

21. Yelagiri (Vellore)

Situated off the Vaniyambadi-Tirupattur road and located at an altitude of 1,110.6 meters above Mean Sea- Level, the Yelagiri village (also spelled as Elagiri ) is surrounded by orchards, rose-gardens, and green valleys.

22. Yeracud (Salem)

It is located in the Shevaroys range of hills in the Eastern Ghats. The highest point in Yercaud is the Servarayan temple, at 5,326 feet (1,623 m). It is so named owing to the abundance of trees near a lake, the name signifying Lake Forest. As one of the most popular tourist places in Tamil Nadu, Yercaud is also called as Jewel of South.

Day 1 - Madurai – Kodaikanal

The Tamil Nadu tour package starts from Madurai in southern India. We cover two days in Kodaikanal also known as the Princess of Hill Stations. After a scrumptious meal at Kodaikanal, we start with Coaker’s Walk which has a walk-way for the pedestrians for engulfing their eyes with the beauty of nature – the mountains and valleys. Telescope House in Coaker’s Walk is a must-go place to get a mesmerizing view of nature around. We proceed to Green Valley View that was formerly known as the Suicide Point because of its depth below 5000. A breathtaking view of the plains, hills and deep valleys is found from this point. We reach Pillar Rocks next where you find three vertically positioned boulders of height 400 feet with a mini garden and an important attraction called as Devil’s Kitchen (Guna Caves) – space between two rocks. After this destination, we head on to Kurinji Andavar Temple- a famous shrine dedicated to Lord Muruga. After the sacred tour, we proceed towards a garden known for its grassy lawns and alluring canopy of trees called as Chettiar Park. Then we move on to our respective hotel to rest and call it a day.

Day 2 - Kodaikanal

After a healthy breakfast, we continue with our tour to Bryant Park named after a British officer who landscaped this serene beauty with countless attractions and gorgeous displays of greenery all over. After Bryant Park, we hop onto the most prestigious and famous tourist spot of Kodaikanal i.e. a boat ride. A blissful experience of being surrounded by natural beauty, travel by any boat you wish into this oasis of peace. After this, you can enjoy shopping and other activities around the town in your leisure time.

Day 3 - Kodaikanal – Ooty

We start with an early breakfast at Kodaikanal and then proceed towards Ooty in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu tours provide leisure and comfort as this part is mainly dominated by unspoiled natural beauty. We head straight to Botanical Gardens for all the nature lovers or peace lovers, as it is a stretch of flora and fauna distributed symmetrically in a beautiful manner to make your heart leap out of joy. We then travel to Rose Garden which is an ensemble of roses gathered from across the world to make it the most beautiful sight to eyes of the beholder. We then return to our hotels and rest for the whole day.

Day 4 - Ooty

We begin with Doddabetta, one of the highest peaks of the Nilgiri mountain range offering a magnificent view of the whole of Ooty and the other areas around it. After that, we proceed towards tea factory in Ooty where it’s history in India, the process of tea and other homemade products can be found. We then proceed for a boat ride in Ooty Lake which is a must-come place in Ooty. Boathouses offer boats for hiring and we can set off with our loved ones on this exciting journey. Later after this sightseeing, we hop on for Nilgiri Mountain Railway Toy Train which is the highlight of Tamil Nadu travel. A UNESCO World Heritage site, this railway is a treat to eyes because of the tea plantations, rocky and forested hills all around. Then, we visit Pykara River which provides a view of the hilly landscape of Nilgiris. Pykara waterfalls along the edge of the river are also a scenic attraction and a well-known picnic spot. We will then go to Mudumalai National Park – a tiger reserve which is an abode to many endangered and vulnerable species. After the stroll around the park, we head on to the hotels.

Day 5 - Ooty – Coimbatore

After a memorable and relaxing trip, we bid adieu to our tourists hoping to hear from them soon again at Coimbatore.
