We booked through Pamela at Liffey valley Cassidy, and she was an absolute dream! We are a group of 6, and as you can imagine, decisions were made, changed and altered between us so many times. When I called into the shop in…Donaghmede

When I called into the shop in Donaghmede the Girl Naiomi was very engaging without being overpowering. I told what I was looking for and she knew the hotel straight away. We were looking for a last minute break away from the miserable weather and Ashling was quick to find us a relaxing week in Greece at a great price. Great staff in Cassidy s in Donaghmede always ready to help.

Dundrum Cassidy Travel

I cannot recommend Dylan from the Dundrum store enough. When we went in to book our holiday he gave us all the time in the world, checked out so many different hotels/destinations for us. Nothing was an issue to him and it was all very seamless. We booked our trip to Orlando, the balance was nearly paid and something came up and our dates had to be pushed out by 1 week, again, Dylan made what we thought was going to be the most stressful thing ever, seamless. We got back last Monday from Orlando, we had an amazing time and everything we booked through Dylan in Cassidy Travel Dundrum was perfect. The transportation - communication from the driver to and from airport. The hotel: Rosen Inn @Pointe that Dylan recommended for location compared to a previous hotel we had stayed at. It was a great location & clean, staff were lovely. The flights: AL direct / universal tickets - we were sent the details prior to the holiday departure and it was so easy checking in online with the ref & downloading the universal tickets. We can’t wait to book again with Dylan in the future. 👏🏼

Dylan is just an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is super honest with recommendations and will always find the best deals for you. I would never book big holidays without going to Dylan first! horrendous honeymoon bokking

I booked my honeymoon through this branch, and if I could give minus stars, I would. Below is the email I sent to the manager, Shirley, on May 13th, without even an apology in return. --- "Hi Shirley, I wrote to you last Thursday regarding my complaint about Cassidy Travel’s service. I haven't received a response, which I hope is a mistake rather than a lack of professionalism. We collected our tickets a week before our holiday. Our agent, Katie Leonard, wasn't there, so we dealt with Katie Keyes, who noticed our bags weren’t included in the internal flights. Despite explaining that Katie L had told us to add the bags during check-in, Katie K was worried about potential issues. She assured us she'd get back to us, which added to our concerns. Upon arriving in Nashville after 14 hours of travel, our hotel had no booking under my name. Despite an email confirmation from Katie K, we were overcharged $30 per night for a downgraded room. The hotel had no notes that it was our honeymoon, and neither were we given standard honeymoon perks. In Memphis, the booking confusion continued with a two-room switch that wasted our time and caused stress. Both Katie’s were unreachable during our trip, leaving us with no support. In Santa Monica and Las Vegas, the hotels had no record of our honeymoon. Our Las Vegas hotel even had no booking for us under our names. We ended up sitting separately on our flight from Las Vegas to London, despite booking in January. This unacceptable service cost us over €5000. I expect a sincere apology, empathy, and compensation for these issues. This experience has made me vow never to use Cassidy Travel again." --- This remains unanswered, reflecting the unprofessionalism and incompetence we experienced.

2024 Formula 1 Calendar

The 2024 Formula 1 calendar was announced on July 5, 2023 . It’s set to be the longest season on record with 24 races, including the return of the Chinese Grand Prix. The first two races of the season in Bahrain and Saudi Arabia will take place on a Saturday due to Ramadan, while the second edition of the Las Vegas Grand Prix will also take place on a Saturday night. The 2024 F1 calendar features a traditional four-week break during August, as well as a second four-week break in September and October betweeen the Singapore and United States Grands Prix. 2025 Formula 1 Calendar

The 2025 Formula 1 calendar was announced on April 12, 2024 . This is much earlier than the calendar has been historically released. The early announcement can be explained by the fact that the 2025 F1 calendar contains the exact same 24 races as the 2024 calendar. The only significant changes to the running order of races are at the start of the season, when Australia becomes the first race of the year for the first time since 2019, and the Middle-Eastern races in Bahrain and Saudi move to slightly later dates in April due to the timing of Ramadan in 2025. Among other minor changes to the calendar, the Spanish and Canadian races switch places, as do the Belgian and Hungarian Grands Prix.

When was the track built?

In 2006, plans were announced to develop Yas Island, located just to the east of Abu Dhabi , into a new tourist destination , with a major part of the plans centring around a 5.5km race track. The diggers rolled into what would become the Yas Marina Circuit in May 2007, with the project completed by October 2009.

When was its first Grand Prix?

In 2009. The track debuted as that year’s Formula 1 season finale, with Red Bull’s Sebastian Vettel winning from team mate Mark Webber and the already-crowned 2009 champion Jenson Button. Vettel would go on to secure his first title in Abu Dhabi a year later, amid much crying.

What’s the circuit like?

The Hermann Tilke-designed track is dominated by its 1.2km straight between Turns 7 and 8 – which, with slow-speed corners marking its beginning and end, makes it a honeypot for overtaking moves. Other highlights include the tricky run through Turns 15 and 16 into 17, which forces the drivers to brake hard with bags of lateral load still on the car.

Yas Island was a blank canvas for developers to turn into a tourist attraction, and 11 years and $40 billion later, they’ve nearly finished doing just that. Seven hotels, Ferrari’s indoor theme park, a mall, a water park, a golf course, a beach, a concert arena and a nightclub, all framed by perfect Emirati weather. What more could you want?

Where is the best place to watch?

Assuming you can’t get a room with a trackside view in the spectacular whale-shaped Yas Hotel – or a berth in a boat’s cabin in the marina – opt for a spot in the West Grandstand, a great place to watch all the overtaking action into Turn 8. Or if you’re more there for the atmos, stick yourself in the Main Grandstand overlooking the start-finish straight and enjoy Abu Dhabi’s famed pyrotechnics. It might be worth trying to get a seat high up in whatever grandstand you choose, though, if you’re looking to keep out of the sun.

When I called into the shop in…Donaghmede

When I called into the shop in Donaghmede the Girl Naiomi was very engaging without being overpowering. I told what I was looking for and she knew the hotel straight away. We were looking for a last minute break away from the miserable weather and Ashling was quick to find us a relaxing week in Greece at a great price. Great staff in Cassidy s in Donaghmede always ready to help.

Dundrum Cassidy Travel

I cannot recommend Dylan from the Dundrum store enough. When we went in to book our holiday he gave us all the time in the world, checked out so many different hotels/destinations for us. Nothing was an issue to him and it was all very seamless. We booked our trip to Orlando, the balance was nearly paid and something came up and our dates had to be pushed out by 1 week, again, Dylan made what we thought was going to be the most stressful thing ever, seamless. We got back last Monday from Orlando, we had an amazing time and everything we booked through Dylan in Cassidy Travel Dundrum was perfect. The transportation - communication from the driver to and from airport. The hotel: Rosen Inn @Pointe that Dylan recommended for location compared to a previous hotel we had stayed at. It was a great location & clean, staff were lovely. The flights: AL direct / universal tickets - we were sent the details prior to the holiday departure and it was so easy checking in online with the ref & downloading the universal tickets. We can’t wait to book again with Dylan in the future. 👏🏼

Dylan is just an absolute pleasure to deal with. He is super honest with recommendations and will always find the best deals for you. I would never book big holidays without going to Dylan first! 10/10 Rosie was very attentive. Went through loads of options with me and very patient. Also explained the reasons why the accommodation I wanted when I came into the shop wouldn’t suit my needs which I really appreciated.

Rosie was so friendly,full of patience no matter how many questions I had and very professional in dealing with my booking. Of course I always go to Cassidy Travel whenever I am booking a holiday and never have been disappointed.

horrendous honeymoon bokking

I booked my honeymoon through this branch, and if I could give minus stars, I would. Below is the email I sent to the manager, Shirley, on May 13th, without even an apology in return. --- "Hi Shirley, I wrote to you last Thursday regarding my complaint about Cassidy Travel’s service. I haven't received a response, which I hope is a mistake rather than a lack of professionalism. We collected our tickets a week before our holiday. Our agent, Katie Leonard, wasn't there, so we dealt with Katie Keyes, who noticed our bags weren’t included in the internal flights. Despite explaining that Katie L had told us to add the bags during check-in, Katie K was worried about potential issues. She assured us she'd get back to us, which added to our concerns. Upon arriving in Nashville after 14 hours of travel, our hotel had no booking under my name. Despite an email confirmation from Katie K, we were overcharged $30 per night for a downgraded room. The hotel had no notes that it was our honeymoon, and neither were we given standard honeymoon perks. In Memphis, the booking confusion continued with a two-room switch that wasted our time and caused stress. Both Katie’s were unreachable during our trip, leaving us with no support. In Santa Monica and Las Vegas, the hotels had no record of our honeymoon. Our Las Vegas hotel even had no booking for us under our names. We ended up sitting separately on our flight from Las Vegas to London, despite booking in January. This unacceptable service cost us over €5000. I expect a sincere apology, empathy, and compensation for these issues. This experience has made me vow never to use Cassidy Travel again." --- This remains unanswered, reflecting the unprofessionalism and incompetence we experienced.
