LAMB OF GOD announce 2023 headlining tour

Lamb of God have a busy summer ahead of them. The Virginia metal titans are heading out on a full U.S. tour with Pantera, including a few stops at major festivals like Inkcarceration and Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Now, they've announced a handful of shows that they'll be playing on their off-dates from that run. 

Throughout the August and into early September, Lamb of God will play eight headlining shows with a rotating cast of impressive openers. Ice Nine Kills, Suicide Silence, the Acacia Strain, the Black Dahlia Murder and Frozen Soul will play select dates.

Tickets go on sale Friday May 5th at 10 a.m. local time, and you can get yours here . See the dates below.

I purchased the tickets for this concert as a Christmas gift for my wife. It was the only request she made for Christmas. She has wanted to attend the "Behold the Lamb of God" concert for many many years. As it turned out, we both feel this was the most amazing and enjoyable concert we have ever attended. Andrew Peterson is a true and humble Christian who has been blessed with incredible talent and the ability to express his love for our Lord with beautiful music and powerfully moving lyrics. The entire band and other singers were all equally amazing and filled with the Spirit.

Best two hours of my life! Andrew Peterson brings all the warmth, worship, and beauty familiar from his albums, and then some! He enunciates every word, and his band exhibits solid talent. Tickets were very reasonably priced and sooo worth it. This concert was a perfect balance of familiar & fresh, anticipated and surprising. I would re-live this experience in a heartbeat.

Fantastic. Every song they played SLAPPED. Every song is a different spiritual experience and I left feeling rejuvenated. All of the artists involved sounded just like they do on their albums which shows how talented they really are. They most likely use no auto tune whatsoever and I respect that mad hard.

We enjoyed Andrew's concert in Morton, Illinois last night so very much. We've been blessed by his music for the last 9 or 10 years. They put on a truly beautiful show, so full of Jesus. We also loved hearing Taylor Leonhardt as well.

This is the second time seeing the behold the lamb of God show. Always impressed with the gifts God uses to shine his light and truth thru musicians. Thanks for a wonderful evening of worship!

Join us at the Greenville Convention Center for 3GEN Ministries and Andrew Peterson’s Behold the Lamb of God. Join storied Nashville singer-songwriter and author Andrew Peterson with guest artists The Arcadian Wild, Jess Ray, Jill Phillips, Andy Gullahorn, and Andrew Osenga for the Advent song cycle Behold the Lamb of God: The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ. The 2-part concert brings artists together for a “songwriters in the round” in the first half, and the second half features the Behold the Lamb of God album performed in full.

• Artist Circle Experience Tickets  are $95.00 and include first access to the venue at 5:30pm to choose your seats in the Artist Circle Section.  These tickets include a special pre-show Q&A session at 5:45pm with Andrew Peterson. Only 300 Artist Circle Experience seats are available.
• Premium Tickets  are $65.00 and include exclusive access to the Premium Seating Section at 6:20pm. Only 1000 Premium seats are available.
• General Admission Tickets  are $35.00.  Doors will open at 6:35pm for General Admission Ticketholders. There are 1300 General Admission seats available.

Lamb of God  will be hitting the road this summer for their exclusive 2023 headline tour  featuring special guests Ice Nine Kills, Suicide Silence, The Acacia Strain, Frozen Soul  and more   across select dates.   Produced by Live Nation, the 8-city tour kicks off on August 10 at The Wellmont in Montclair making stops across the U.S. in St. Louis, Oklahoma, Las Vegas, Riverside and more.

TICKETS:  Tickets will be available starting with artist presale  beginning Tuesday, May 2. Additional presales will run throughout the week ahead of the general onsale beginning Friday, May 5 at 10am local time at  LiveNation.com.

About Lamb of God:

For millions of headbangers, Lamb Of God are simply the most important contemporary metal band in the world," Guitar World observed. Lamb Of God grew from basement shows and grimy DIY venues to arena headliners. Over the course of their career, the Richmond, Virginia-based band earned a reverence akin to musical forefathers (and road companions) Metallica, Slayer, and Megadeth. Timeless songs like "Laid to Rest," "Redneck," "Walk with Me in Hell," and "Now You've Got Something to Die For" became anthems in the heavy metal songbook. They shoved heavy metal into the new millennium with New American Gospel (2000). As the Palaces Burn (2003) joined Rolling Stone's Top 100 Greatest Metal Albums of All Time. Ashes of the Wake (2004) was the first Lamb Of Gold album certified gold by the RIAA, a feat once all but impossible for a contemporary extreme metal band. Sacrament (2006), Revolver's Album of the Year, went gold as well. The raw and organic malice of Wrath (2009) began the band's enduring relationship with Wilbur. Both the diverse Resolution (2012) and the explosive VII: Sturm und Drang (2015) debuted in the Top 5 of the Billboard 200 . The 2020 self-titled set, their first new material in five years, added instant classics "Memento Mori" and "Resurrection Man" to the repertoire, alongside eight more monster tracks. Revolver , Metal Hammer , and Loudwire included Lamb Of God on their year-end Best Albums lists. The momentum continues with Omens , the band's most aggressive and ambitious album yet.

Join storied Nashville singer-songwriter and author Andrew Peterson as he presents the Advent song cycle Behold the Lamb of God: The True Tall Tale of the Coming of Christ. Now in its 23rd year, Behold the Lamb will feature guest artists Jess Ray, The Arcadian Wild, Andy Gullahorn, and Jill Phillips, along with an all-star cast of Nashville songwriters and session musicians. The concert brings the singing and playing of Peterson’s original folk-roots infused rendition of the Christmas story as it is foreshadowed in the Old Testament and brought to bear in the New. The tour is sponsored by International Justice Mission and Kyser Capos.
