Snoop Dogg announces huge list of supports for his 2023 Australian tour

A 2021 press shot of Snoop Dogg

  • X (formerly Twitter)

Snoop Dogg has locked in supports for his 2023 Australian tour, with a host of guests locked in to make these shows extra special.

Detroit is heavbily represented, with  Obie Trice serving as main support, and Eminem's old collective  D12 , which usually features members Bizarre, Kuniva and Swifty, also returning to Australia with Snoop.

Tha Dogg Pound , the Death Row Records group made up of Kurupt and Daz Dillinger, will join their old mate Snoop on these shows. So will controversial Irish superstars Versatile , who'll get things started on their first Australian tour.

Read on for all the info on dates and venues.

When Californian hip hop icon Snoop Dogg pulled out of his 2022 Australian tour a few months back, promoters swore that he still full intended on making it back to Australia as soon as possible.

They weren't kidding, and today announce new dates for early 2023.

It's extra good news for some, with Snoop also locking in a date for Adelaide and second shows in Sydney and Melbourne to meet demand.

These will be Snoop's first Australian shows since 2014 when he played the Big Day Out, so his multi-generational fanbase will be very eager to finally have him back in the country.

Not only has he made some of the greatest hip hop songs in history, he's been a key cultural figure of the past 30 years.

He was a key part of one of 2022 most incredible music moments , he hosted a pretty weird cooking show , and, yes, he performed the jingle for a food delivery service that is probably your child's only knowledge of him (and that's probably a good thing).

While it has been some time since he appeared in Australia, we can say that past visits have been very good. Snoop has always rolled out classic hits sets full of good humour and great vibes. Most importantly, his work on the mic has almost always been completely on point.

The tour kicks off at Perth’s RAC Arena  on  Monday, February 27.

Snoop Dogg is visiting our shores on his  I WANNA THANK ME  tour, celebrating the release of his 17th album  I Wanna Thank Me,  and documentary of the same name, which were released in 2019.

It will be the first time Snoop Dogg has performed in Australia since 2014 when he headlined the Big Day Out.

SNOOP DOGG TOUR IS BACK ON! PLUS THREE MASSIVE NEW SHOWS ADDED, WITH D12 & VERSATILE!

Second shows added in Sydney and Melbourne, plus a new date in Adelaide due to huge demand!

Finally, the wait is over and Californian Hip Hop icon Snoop Dogg has officially announced brand new dates for his massive upcoming tour down under, including adding extra shows in Sydney and Melbourne to meet overwhelming demand.

Kicking off in Perth at RAC Arena on 27 February 2023, Snoop Dogg will then head to Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena for two huge shows before performing two shows at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena, a massive show at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre before wrapping up the tour with a brand new show in Adelaide on March 08.

Snoop Dogg, who hasn’t performed in Australia since 2014 when he headlined the Big Day Out, will return to Australian shores in 2023 for his ‘I WANNA THANK ME’ tour, which will see the West Coast rap legend celebrate the release of his 17th album ‘I Wanna Thank Me’, and documentary of the same name, released in 2019.

While the ‘I Wanna Thank Me’ documentary celebrates 25 years of Snoop Dogg – a career that has seen the Doggfather cement his undisputed influence on music with chart-topping, multi-platinum records, while also solidifying his importance as a cultural icon, actor and businessman – the upcoming Australian tour will be all about the music!

Hailed by Rolling Stone as ‘America’s Most Lovable Pimp; a hip-hop star that has survived gangsta rap, charmed Hollywood and won over soccer moms – a hip-hop family man who’s evolved from consummate thug to ultimate mack’, Snoop Dogg remains one of the most important figures in music, almost three decades into his career.

He’s roasted Donald Trump on national television, baked brownies with Martha Stewart, co-headlined the Superbowl Half Time Show and collaborated with a list of celebrities that includes 2Pac, Pharrell Williams, Dr Dre, Eminem, Warren G, Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus and many more.

Despite immediately turning heads with his appearance on Dr. Dre’s iconic album The Chronic in 1992, few could have predicted the meteoric rise of the California local; 17 studio albums, 17 Grammy nominations and tens of millions of record sales, plus appearances in acclaimed movies and TV shows and his own burgeoning cannabis business.

From playing piano at his local baptist church in Long Beach, to becoming one of the world’s most recognised, revered and respected artists….and he’s not even close to retiring. Get ready for Snoop Dogg Australia!

Snoop Dogg Review – Hits, Covers and Tributes to Departed Greats in Melbourne

By Cyclone Wehner

Snoop Dogg performed at Melbourne’s Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, 4th March. Cyclone Wehner reviews.

The most remarkable thing about Snoop Dogg’s long-awaited return to Australia is that – aside from a false start – it hasn’t ignited controversy. Snoop’s first tour here, in 1998, attracted a jubilantly multicultural audience but was embroiled in racialised media commentary. In 2007, Snoop was banned from flying over for the MTV Australia Awards on “character grounds” by John Howard’s Coalition Government. He was last in the country for 2014’s Big Day Out, despite remonstrations from activist group Collective Shout, who in turn were called out for their white feminism .

But, this go, Snoop’s pending arrival was met with silence, even if two of the tour’s four scheduled support acts, Tha Dogg Pound and Obie Trice, were quietly scrubbed from the program at the eleventh hour.

Snoop Dogg – ‘Who Am I (What’s My Name?)’

Long Beach’s finest was accompanied by Eminem’s former tour accomplice, DJ Green Lantern, as well as two R&B singers, pole dancers and an animal mascot. Snoop’s style is supremely, and astutely, laidback – the lanky MC, now 51, relying not only on presence, but also his wry comic flair. He’s a pro.

That said, Snoop didn’t deliver an obvious set. He could have rattled off his greatest hits, favouring 1993’s fabled solo debut Doggystyle . Yet the selections were more curated and considered. Leaning away from hardcore rap, he embraced his R&B side, or “R&G” (rhythm & gangsta), playing the mack over the G.

Much of the setlist came from the 2000s, when Snoop sprang back to life after 1996’s underwhelming Tha Doggfather and several ignominious releases on Master P’s No Limit Records. He performed his hit Neptunes collabs ‘Beautiful’ and ‘Drop It Like It’s Hot’ and a de-Auto-Tuned ‘Sexual Eruption’ (aka ‘Sensual Seduction’).

Snoop Dogg – ‘Beautiful’ ft. Pharrell Williams

Certain early classics got a look in, such as ‘Nuthin’ But A “G” Thang’, the lead single from Dr Dre’s The Chronic , and a peppy ‘Gin And Juice’. Later, we heard a slick ‘Who Am I (What’s My Name?)’. Snoop paid tribute to both 2Pac and The Notorious B.I.G., performing Biggie’s ‘Hypnotize’ and his own duet with 2Pac, ‘2 Of Amerikaz Most Wanted’, from Pac’s All Eyez On Me , released just months before his murder.

There were snatches of other, more random covers throughout the show, including House Of Pain’s ’90s banger ‘Jump Around’ and Snoop’s remix of 50 Cent’s ‘P.I.M.P.’ Another highlight was a version of 2011’s ‘Wet’ that incorporated elements of David Guetta’s EDM remix of the track, titled ‘Sweat’.

Overall, Snoop’s theatrical and flamboyant performance felt like a homage to George Clinton’s Parliament-Funkadelic. The closer was a song he joked is his “national anthem” – ‘Young, Wild & Free’, cut with Wiz Khalifa and Bruno Mars for 2011’s Mac & Devin Go To High School soundtrack.

If, in the ’90s, like every gangsta rapper, Snoop traded on controversy, then in later years he’s encouraged transgressive self-parody. Snoop remains a canny Black entrepreneur. The Rod Laver Arena was kitted out in promotional material for his wine, Cali Rosé, a partnership with the Australian company 19 Crimes. But Snoop’s concert underscored that, for him, music will always be his passion – and his game.

Snoop Dogg – ‘Young, Wild & Free’

Earlier in the night, Dublin’s Versatile were a happy discovery. Since their 2017 debut, Dublin City G’s , rappers Casey “Casper” Walsh and Alex “Eskimo Supreme” Sheehan have provoked outrage in Ireland with their problematic street raps, even though they’re evidently satirical.

Versatile upped the comedy for their raucous live slot, chanting “Melbourne, make some fookin’ noise” and partaking in a shoey. They also honoured their late champion Coolio, who guested on 2019’s single ‘Escape Wagon’, with an idiosyncratic rendition of his seminal G-funk record ‘Gangsta’s Paradise’.

Detroit’s D12 – which Eminem declared defunct in 2018 – appeared in a drastically downsized incarnation. A six member group at their peak, just Kuniva and Swifty McVay made the trip, along with the charismatic DJ Invisible.

D12 will forever be associated with Eminem as well as the late Proof, and Kuniva and Swifty struggled to compensate for their absence. They’re capitalising on nostalgia, given their most recent album came out in 2004. But the pair flexed their gritty 8 Mile -esque rap skills and worked hard to win over the crowd.

Swifty donned a guitar for ‘Revelation’ off 2001’s debut Devil’s Night , but it was more hammy than horrorcore. They performed classics such as the Eminem collab ‘Under The Influence’, ‘Fight Music’ and, yes, ‘Purple Pills’ – a bouncy finale somewhat irreverently heralded by Prince’s ‘Purple Rain’.

Snoop Dogg Is Finally Going Ahead With His Australia Tour In 2023

Snoop Dogg Is Finally Going Ahead With His Australia Tour In 2023

Garry Lu

Good things come to those who wait, and after copping a slight delay towards the tail end of this year, the Snoop Dogg Australia tour has now been greenlit for early 2023.

Initially scheduled last month, the West Coast rapper’s I Wanna Thank Me tour marks the first time he’s visited our sunburnt shores since 2014, wherein he headlined Big Day Out (side note: throwback). It’ll also be a celebration of his 17th album and documentary released back in 2019 — both of which bears the same name as the forthcoming affair.

“While the I Wanna Thank Me documentary celebrates 25 years of Snoop Dogg – a career that has seen the Doggfather cement his undisputed influence on music with chart-topping, multi-platinum records, while also solidifying his importance as a cultural icon, actor and businessman – the upcoming Australian tour will be all about the music,” notes the official description.

It all kicks off in late Perth before making its way to Sydney and Melbourne – both two stops each – then Brisbane, before wrapping up in Adelaide. If you’re already holding a ticket purchased for the original November 2022 tour dates, all you have to do is sit pretty and wait for February/March to roll ’round.

Everyone else, however, can cop a ticket via the link below.

Snoop's I WANNA THANK ME tour is touching down in Australia after nine years between visits when he headlined Big Day Out festival in 2014. The tour is named after the album and documentary of the same name, promoting his 17th album and 25 years of making music.

Perth fans are first on Snoop's run; the rapper will stop at RAC Arena on Monday, 27 February 2023. From there, Snoop Dogg will be dropping it like it's hot with two shows at Sydney's Qudos Bank Arena on Wednesday, 1 and Thursday, 2 March, a further double showing at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena on Saturday, 4, and Sunday, 5 March, and ends his gigs at the Brisbane Entertainment Centre on Tuesday, 7 March.

Tickets purchased for their original dates remain valid; if you're a ticketholder for the November 2022 shows, you don't need to take any action. If you don't have tickets, however, find them here .

The excellent tour news arrives as a  biopic  about the beloved hip-hop figure is in the works.

As Deadline  reported, the movie is in partnership with Snoop's newly formed Death Row Pictures and Universal Pictures. The biopic will be the first film from Death Row Pictures and feature music from Snoop Dogg's extensive catalogue. Menace II Society director, Allen Hughes , takes the reigns alongside Black Panther' s  Joe Robert Cole, penning the script. Snoop is co-producing with Hughes and Sara Ramaker .

Snoop Dogg a force to be reckoned with on his Australian tour

A pungent herbal smell was wafting over western Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena this week when one of the planet’s most iconic rappers rolled into town.

A pungent herbal smell was wafting over western Sydney’s Qudos Bank Arena this week when one of the planet’s most iconic rappers rolled into town.

The lights dimmed and Snoop Dogg appeared on a giant plasma screen. He could be seen lounging in his hotel before asking “Sydney, Australia” which eye-popping jump suit he should ease into for the night’s show — blue or black?

The answer was unintelligible from the raucous crowd of 20,000 packed inside the stadium, but the Dogg sauntered out of his room in his finest blue threads.

With a questionable cigarette in hand and to the bombastic sound of O Fortuna , the camera followed him down a corridor until he stepped out on stage.

He launched straight into the mother of all West Coast tunes Dr. Dre’s The Next Episode , on which of course Snoop featured heavily.

The cover set a theme for a night when Snoop rattled through a number of tunes he’d guested on over his illustrious career, including Akon’s I Wanna F**k You — in which he showcased his famously limited vocal range while singing to one of the four pole dancers on stage.

That was far from the only sexually charged moment of the night as a dancer in a giant ape mask, complete with a comically large blunt, fired money at the dancers via a gun that launched dollar bills.

Despite the antics on stage, Snoop appeared laser focused on his rhymes and providing the biggest party in town.

Ripping through the blistering verses of 2 of Amerikaz Most Wanted in his tribute to 2Pac it was clear that Snoop — at the ripe age of 51 — can still spit fire.

Biggy Smalls was also paid tribute with a rendition of Hypnotize that hit you in the gut so hard, you couldn’t help but get up and wiggle.

It wasn’t all about covers, as Snoop tore through a barrage of self-penned classic G Funk bangers including Who Am I? (What’s My Name?) and Gin and Juice .

It was all topped off with a rendition of Young, Wild & Free that had everybody in the house singing along.

There was a lot going on.

It was certainly a night to remember and probably the most fun you can have with your pants on. The best news of the night however was reserved for the end when Snoop confirmed he’d back in Australia for more in the future.

You can catch Snoop in Melbourne and Brisbane on this current tour.

Watch Snoop Dogg Absolutely Kill It in the Milwaukee Brewers’ Broadcast Booth

Prior to performing at Milwaukee’s Potawatomi Casino Hotel on Saturday night, the legendary rapper made quite the appearance at the Brewers' 3-1 win over the Cincinnati Reds.

Prior to performing in Milwaukee on Saturday night, Snoop Dogg made an appearance at the Brewers' game against the Cincinnati Reds, throwing out the first pitch before showcasing his talents as a play-by-play announcer.

According to Brewers' coach Quintin Berry, Snoop Dogg was a "total vibe."

“He’s a total vibe, man. One hundred percent,” Berry told MLB. “It was from the instant he walked in, he had a big smile on and was ready to take pictures. Anything you wanted, he was available.”

Berry added, “I catch those ceremonial pitches all year long, and then every time a celebrity or somebody really cool comes by, someone like ‘Yeli’ [Christian Yelich] gets to do it. I made it known that nobody but me was going to catch this pitch.”

After throwing out the first pitch, Snoop stopped by the Brewers' broadcast booth, where the Death Row Records boss marveled at the genius of Reds' star Elly De La Cruz.

"Oh he's safe, he can't throw that," Snoop said. "He ain't got no arm like that. No he don't! Who is that with that rocket? Oh lord, he got a rocket in his pocket. Oh he made that."

Later in the broadcast, Snoop praised Christian Yelich for getting to first base on a routine ground ball.

"He cannot out run you!" he said as Yelich got safely to first base. "You better not let the pitcher out run you. Anybody but the pitcher. You can't out run me, dog."

Let's make this permanent, please.

snoop dogg tour australia support act

Hip-hop legend and all-over-the-map entrepreneur Snoop Dogg will be the first act to headline Potawatomi Casino Hotel's new outdoor concert venue just west of the Menomonee Valley casino complex.

Potawatomi announced Wednesday that Snoop Dogg will be the inaugural headliner at what it's calling Potawatomi Amplified with a concert on June 15. The gates open at 7:45 p.m. (7:30 for VIP ticketholders); the concert is scheduled to start at 9 p.m.

Tickets, at $89 and $299.50 VIP tent seats, go on sale at noon May 10 at paysbig.com .

The outdoor venue, in the former Cargill lot west of the casino at 1721 W. Canal St., will have capacity for 4,800 patrons, with a range of seating and free parking in the Potawatomi parking lot.

The new venue is on a fast track to completion. Last month, the Forest County Potawatomi Community filed permit applications with the Milwaukee Department of Neighborhood Services for an outdoor stage, fence and 10 tents, including the two VIP tents. The application included plans for unspecified live entertainment events on June 15, July 18, July 26 to 28, and Aug. 22.

In the statement announcing the Snoop Dogg show, Potawatomi said the acts for the other dates would be announced later.

"We are rolling out Potawatomi Amplified, the temporary venue, to host three summer and early fall concerts, and we think people will be really excited when they hear the names we plan to announce,” Dominic Ortiz, CEO of Potawatomi Casino Hotel, said in the statement.

July 18, for those checking their calendars, is the last day of the the 2024 Republican National Convention, and July 26 to 28 overlap the weekend dates of this summer's Harley-Davidson Homecoming Festival.

The outdoor concert venue is the same location that sources previously told the Journal Sentinel is where Potawatomi is looking to build a $200 million indoor concert venue that can seat up to 6,000 people.

Piet Levy of the Journal Sentinel staff contributed to this report.

Calvin Broadus was born on October 20th 1971, and started rapping when he was eleven years old. Ten years after that he took the stage name Snoop Doggy Dogg to begin recording, and in doing so, changed the face of Hip-Hop forever.

There are more than a few artists around that it’s basically impossible to say anything new about. They have been so scrutinised, so celebrated and so criticised that most of what one can say about them has already been said before. This is very much the case with Snoop Dogg, one of the cast iron legends of Hip-Hop and one of the key influences that make it what it is today, both as a cultural phenomenon, and as (arguably) the dominant force of pop music in the world.

After his rapping caught the attention of Hip-Hop godhead Dr. Dre, the legendary producer gave the up and coming Snoop the exposure of a lifetime by featuring him heavily on his 1992 album “The Chronic”. The California, US native capitalised by releasing the following years “Doggystyle” and promptly became one of the world’s most successful, famous, controversial, and downright feared musicians overnight. Since then his image has softened slightly, he’s more likely to be seen in adverts for Hot Pockets than on trial for murder (as he was in 1996), but he’s diversified to a thrilling degree as a musician.

Not content with giving the world the best G-Funk it’s ever going to get with “Who Am I (What’s My Name)?” and “Gin and Juice”, he’s also given it some of its best straight up hip hop with the Pharrell Williams assisted “Drop It Like It’s Hot” and is still unafraid to tread his own path. His most recent reinvention, with a new name (Snoop Lion) and a new reggae sound on the album “Reincarnated”, sees him still going from strength to strength 22 years into his career. With a back catalogue like his, and a bright future to match, you can’t go wrong with the Doggfather himself, Snoop Dogg.

Live reviews

I was pretty worried that the concert might've been uncomfortable, as I'm a teen that went with their parents. Also, my mom isn't good at keeping her calm in situations surrounded by high intensity and tons of weed (which I guarantee will be at any Snoop concert). But it was the opposite of awkward. It was really fucking fun and people of all ages and backgrounds were there. We sat in the mezzanine, and even that far away from the stage it was high energy and a great vibe. HYPE Everyone was feeling the music and yes, there was shitloads of marijuana, even in a fancy theater venue like the Paramount in Seattle. But it's not overwhelming at all, even if you don't smoke. No one's aggressive or anything of the sort or passing judgement. Everybody's there to flip out over Snoop Dogg, dance, sing their hearts out, and have a good time. Snoop was so charismatic, captivating, and comfortable onstage. He never missed a beat or messed up his lyrics and put on a great show. I lost all inhibition dancing, and I'm usually self-conscious and anxious. Tons of fun. There were about five different groups opening, which lasted around three and a half hours (Puff Puff Pass Tour Part 2). Snoop was up there for about an hour and a half. He finished with Young, Wild & Free and spoke about all the hatred in the world in its current situation and how his tour was all about empathy, peace, and love and to stay strong. It was honestly beautiful. The show closed with Bob Marley's jamming. My clothes and hair still smelled like weed the day after. Definitely a must-see.

Thought the show was very entertaining! Snoop's got a great legacy and his story is definitely worthy of a play (and a movie as well, which we know will happen). Tamar Braxton was perfect as the Angel and WOW was really impressed with La Toya London's performance! Thought physically Lil JJ was too short to play Snoop but he very much acted the part and won me over. Oh and the visuals and sound effects were great too. Every time I heard gunshots I actually turned to make sure it wasn't real. LOL!!! So my only critique was it ran a little long, thought his story could have been told in less time. Other than that great job by everyone, cast, crew, the band.

Oh and forgot how much I despise the seating arrangement at Microsoft Theater. Rows are too long so if you're seated in middle seats you have to scoot by at least 10-14 people to get to your seat, annoying! Also people actually brought infants and small children. This is not a good place to bring children. Hire a babysitter! This along with the high ticket price, convenience charge, taxes and parking fees are probably why I will consider not going here again.

Okay, who doesn't love Snoop Dogg? Maybe my grandma, but otherwise, I can't think of anyone!

So, when I had the opportunity of a lifetime to see Snoop Dogg (and others) live I was more than thrilled. I was excited as I have ever been in my entire life. I felt like a kid on Christmas morning. Snoop Dogg is a legend in the rap world and he did nothing less than live up to that legacy during this show at Coachella.

He kept the audience involved in the show the entire time. There was not one dull moment, it was probably one of the best nights of my life. At one time, I swear he even looked right at me and pointed and winked at me. I almost died! I was so excited.

His music is well, Snoop Dogg's music and if you like it you love it. I enjoyed all the old school music that he played as well as some of the newer songs he has.

His performance was great. He had me smiling the entire time, I seriously couldn't believe I was seeing Snoop Dogg. Like, it was him, right there in front of me. I will never forget that night. One of the best ever!

Last night's snoop show was a blast !! We puffed puffed passed till we couldn't anymore cuz the show ended but The smooth dark chocolate rapper has done it again in Colorado showing us that his vital stamina and pure heart and soulkeeps him ahead of the pack !! Well since it was spoiled rasta Rosa's 4 th Snoopsy concert in 2016 I'll rate it #2 after the 420 concert with wiz @ Fiddlers Green in April I loved the old school feel with Bone Thigs and harmony it was like my cherry got poped again 18 years later took me right back to the Glorydays !!! Lol I love you Snoop I am your biggest Fan from Colorado. It's funny Snoop was talking about bucket lists last night and go sure smoking with the Dogg face to face blowing o's in each other's face is definitely on my bucket list ! Bring The wifey and Martha we will all get down ! Thank you Snoop for listening to yourself to be who you are you inspire the best of us !!!

Well, it was great to see him do so many hits, (and I actually really admired the athleticism of the 2 pole dancers on the stage). However, it really felt like he was phoning it in. The show was 1 long medley. I don't think he performed 1 song from beginning to end, and there was definitely a lack of energy on the stage. But, ya know what? My friend and I agreed; if anyone has earned the right to do that, it's him at this point in his career. Now, if I had paid $150 or $300 I would've been pissed and felt ripped off. But the for the $60 I paid, it was fine. We enjoyed the show, and I always enjoy going to the Concord in Chicago - it's a great venue: best acoustics anywhere, plenty of elbow room even for sold out shows, and plenty of bars with little or no waiting.

The overall show was 5.5 hours so it was good value from that perspective. Kudos to the long line-up. I've seen Snoop perform about 10 times. The good thing is that his overall stage presence was fairly long and he touched on many songs, albums and artists and he made a decent effort. The bad part is that he shortens all the songs by about half, to ensure he can cover more songs (which I think is fine), but also speeds the bpm of songs which makes them a bit disorienting to those that know the songs and lyrics. I didn't love the dancing girls personally but that is a matter of taste. Wow, since he stopped wearing Adidas, his wardrobe style ranking has sure dropped a quite a few levels! ; )

The concert all the way around was so LIT

I have been to many concerts and I would have to say by far the best concert I have ever witnessed in my life. I can’t even say who was better Bone Thugz, Warren G and Snoop where all amazing !!! I am so happy that I was able to witness this concert and the storm going down in the back round just made the concert that much better !!

danielle-marie-63’s profile image

It sucked. Cypress hill was dope... if they promoted that snoop dogg and wiz were collaborating and performing together I would have never gone. It was garbage snoop should just stick to himself on stage and play his style of music. Don't waste your money on going. Unless u like that new style of "hip hop" than its perfect but if not than definitely don't waste your money

Snoop Dogg announces rescheduled tour with Manchester 2023 date

The West Coast rapper is returning to the UK in March 2023 with support from Warren G, D-12, Xzibit and more

  • 10:59, 21 DEC 2022

The rap icon will be appearing at the Manchester AO Arena on Wednesday, March 15, 2023

American rapper and West Coast legend, Snoop Dogg will be making his presence felt in the UK once again as he announces a seven-date tour for March 2023, as part of his rescheduled UK and Ireland tour.

The long-time king of rap royalty was forced to cancel previous UK dates for 2022 due to "unforeseen scheduling conflicts, including family obligations and upcoming tv and film projects."

His newly announced tour dates form part of the rescheduled dates which will see Snoop and support acts including Warren G, D-12, Versatile, The Dogg Pound, Obie Trice, and Xzibit crew play to over 20,000 fans at that Manchester AO Arena on Wednesday, March 15, 2023.

Original tickets remain valid but fans can also join the pre-sale waiting list here and pre-sale tickets will go live at 9am on Thursday, December 22 via Ticketek and Ticketmaster . General sale tickets will launch at 12pm the same day.

This year, Snoop Dogg has been busy with the formation of the supergroup Mount Westmore with fellow rap stars E-40, Too Short, and Ice Cube. The hip-hop veterans showed that they are very much still at the top of their game with the release of their debut album 'Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort'.

The rapper also collaborated with DJ Drama on the album Gangsta Grillz: I Still Got It' as well as releasing 'Snoop Dog Presents Death Row Summer 2022', two 'NFT Drop' albums and his latest LP, 'BODR'.

As one of the best-known figures from the gangsta rap era of the 1990s, Snoop and his music have long been considered the epitome of West Coast hip-hop culture.

With many fans still loyal to him since his early days and a new generation of hip-hop devotees keen to hear more, tickets are likely to sell out quickly for his only dates in the UK for 2023.

Full tour dates include:

  • Tuesday, March 14 - Belfast SSE Arena
  • Wednesday, March 15 - Manchester AO Arena
  • Thursday, March 16 - Glasgow OVO Arena
  • Tuesday, March 21 - London, O2 Arena
  • Sunday, March 26 - Dublin 3Arena
