Dance Again World Tour
- Edit source
Dance Again World Tour was the first worldwide concert tour by American entertainer Jennifer Lopez . Throughout majority her music career, beginning as early as 2001, a world tour by Lopez was anticipated, though it never materialized. Following the release of her seventh studio album Love? (2011), she was more intent on touring than ever. However, it was not until March 2012 when the tour came into the works. As rumors began to circulate, Lopez later confirmed that April that she would be embarking on her first ever world tour. She was joined by Spanish recording artist Enrique Iglesias for the North American leg of the tour, which was presented by State Farm Insurance and promoted by AEG Live . The Dance Again World Tour also visited Australia, Asia, South America and Europe. It commenced on June 14, 2012 in Panama , and concluded on December 22, 2012 in Puerto Rico .
Fashion designer Zuhair Murad , a frequent collaborator of Lopez, designed all of the tour's costumes. Lopez, who creatively directed the show, included several different personal themes into the tour, which was split into four parts. These themes included old Hollywood glamour, funk, love and partying, as well as Lopez's " Jenny from the Block " persona and her hip-hop upbringing in The Bronx , New York. Generally, Lopez aimed to convey a message about dancing again and feeling innovated.
The tour received generally positive reviews from critics, with most complimenting Lopez on her choreography and stage act as well as physicality. It was described as an "explosion" of color and sound which proved Lopez's vocal ability while also remaining faithful to her humble "Jenny from the Block" persona. The tour was a success at the box office. At the end of 2012, the solo tour placed 13th on Pollstar's "Top 100 Worldwide Tours", earning $52.6 million from 54 international dates alone. Meanwhile, the co-headlining tour with Enrique Iglesias placed 77th on Pollstar's "Top 100 Worldwide Tours", earning $21.2 million from 24 shows in North America. [1] Overall, the tour grossed $73.8 million from 78 shows in combination.

Background [ ]
Following her two Let's Get Loud concerts in 2001, Lopez announced she would like to go on a full tour in 2002, however, this plan did not come to fruition. [2] In January 2005, Lopez revealed to MTV News that she was in the midst of planning a tour to support her fourth studio album, Rebirth . Lopez stated: "I've tried to plan a tour so many times [...] And we're planning it again. It's exciting. We'll see if it happens [...] I've learned not to get my hopes up. I can't wait!" Lopez also added that she envisioned the tour as "Just me doing my thing". [3] However, details for a tour were never unveiled and there subsequently was never one. [4] In May 2011, Lopez announced plans to launch a tour in support of her seventh studio album Love? . Lopez stated that: "My fans have waited a long time for this. We really want to do it at least once in my lifetime." [5]
In March 2012, it was announced that Lopez would headline two popular music festivals in Brazil . [6] While promoting the announcement, the singer mentioned she would like to venture onto a world tour "at some point". Following the announcement, Billboard reported Lopez was in talks to launch a co-headlining tour with Enrique Iglesias . [7] On April 30, 2012, Lopez announced the joint tour with Iglesias on On Air with Ryan Seacrest . [8]
Development [ ]
Template:Quote box In April 2012, a source told Celebuzz , "J.Lo and her team have blocked out more than a month of their schedules, beginning May 4, to start intense rehearsals, each day, at a sound stage in the Los Angeles area. This will be a huge tour, complete with a lavish set, full band and team of dancers." [9] The Dance Again World Tour was directed by famed tour director Jamie King , alongside Casper Smart , who also served as its choreographer. [10] Lopez served as creative director of the set, which consisted of an eighteen-body band including dancers. Her manager Benny Medina was executive producer, while managing the show alongside Steve Brumbach. [11]
Enrique Iglesias co-headlined the tour's American leg.
Speaking of the tour's American leg, in which she co-headlined with Enrique Iglesias, Lopez said, "I was going to go on tour, he was going to go on tour and it was like, 'Well, why don't we go on tour together?' We sat down and we talked about it and people went crazy for the idea." She opined that "it's going to be one of the most historic tours ever", as there had never been "something like this, where Latinos come together like this. It's international – English and Spanish." Lopez further described it as "groundbreaking", feeling honored to be apart of it. [12]
Initially, reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel were also slated to join Iglesias and Lopez on the whole tour as its opening act, but amicably exited due to "unresolvable Issues". [13] They released a statement, "Our sincerest apologies go out to our fans. We wish Jennifer and Enrique, as well as the tour, the very best". [13] Instantly after their announcement, fans of Wisin & Yandel took to social networking sites Twitter and Facebook to express their displeasure about the group cancelling. One fan even commented online stating, "I sooo wish I could get my money back!! I bought those tickets just to see Wisin & Yandel". [14] Recording artist Frankie J. was then named as their replacement. He said, "I am super excited to join Enrique and Jennifer on this adventure. They are global superstars and I am honored that they invited me to be a part of their tour". [14]
Lopez incorporated several personal themes into the tour, which reflected upon different aspects of her career. [15] During an interview with the Australian television series Today , she explained that she "wanted to put on something" that her fans would "really be satisfied with". "There's a lot of different sides of me" she stated, "[There's] kinda like the Jenny from the Block side and this glamour Hollywood persona, red carpet thing." Lopez wanted to "make sure" she "got it all" in there for her fans. [15] As an artist, Lopez felt that it was her job to "bare" her soul, and wanted her concert viewers to walk away with her message of dancing again. She told the website HollywoodLife , "I had control to deliver this message, so I did. I wanted to have the audience leave a little more hopeful. They jumped, danced, felt silly and may now would be thinking, 'Ok things didn't work out before, but maybe this time, it will.'" [16]
Wardrobe [ ]
Four of Murad's designs for the tour
Lebanese fashion designer Zuhair Murad designed Lopez's costumes and fabrication for the Dance Again World Tour. [11] [17] Lopez revealed to People in May 2012, "Zuhair Murad is going to do all my costumes. We're still thinking about [the looks]." [18] Murad has designed pieces, which are described as "capricious designs", for Lopez frequently over the years. In 2010, a dress he designed for Lopez evoked "crying", while creating a "spider web-inspired bodysuit" for her performance at KIIS-FM 's Wango Tango concert the following year. [19] Additionally, Murad was responsible for Lopez's dress at the Academy Awards in 2012 having "ingeniously stole the show from nearly every other red carpet guest". [17] Rolling Stone Template:'s Colleen Nika spoke positively about Murad designing the wardrobe, "Whatever looks the two end up conjuring together, they're guaranteed, on Lopez's shapely form, to strike a sexy, maximalist note". [17] Furthermore, Lopez was a big fan of Murad's creations, often sporting them on American Idol ; Daily Mail referred to her as having a "love affair" with his creations. [20] [21]
Lopez's wardrobe for the tour includes "a feathered skirt and hat, a jumpsuit, a cape, a bodysuit and several short dresses". On June 12, 2012, Murad unveiled the tour's first costume sketches. A "before and after" picture, the first image depicted an "elaborate" scarlet red robe on top of a shimmering dress, which was tied to Lopez's waste, while the robe "drapes over her shoulders and then trails out". [21] The dress she was wearing, fully revealed in the second image, "features thousands of red beads hand-sewn onto nude silk tulle in a flame pattern". [22] Murad was also reported, at the time, to have been working on a bodysuit and several short frocks. Kristie Lau of the Daily Mail said the outfits themselves "will no doubt prove show-stopping". [21] Overall, Murad created six new looks for Lopez's show. This included the elaborate red robe along with a plunging catsuit which Sarah Bull of Daily Mail said clung to her figure, as well as the featured skirt and hat, a jumpsuit and two capes among other looks. [20] [23] Bull commented that the skintight catsuit "bursts of diamantes to conceal her modesty." [23]
Lopez was forced to conceal her provocative performance and wardrobe by conservative Muslim laws. This occurred at her Indonesian concert. Chairi Ibrahim, project manager for the venue, told CNN that "She'll have to cover up a little bit" as well as altering her "sexual dance moves" and stage performance. [24] [25] Lopez's back-up dancers also had to alter their appearance. [26] Instead, during her Jakarta concert she wore "a baggy silver jumpsuit, which concealed her famous curvaceous figure, as opposed to the tour's signature nude sparkling cat jumpsuit, which she regularly wore on tour" according to The Jakarta Post . [27] Her back-up dancers had to cover their "bare chests" and "revealing cleavage". [27]
Concert synopsis [ ]
Template:Double image The Dance Again World Tour is split into four acts. The first is based around an old Hollywood glamour theme. A large curtain printed with the "J.Lo" logo printed appears. The 90-minute show begins with a broadway themed video clip of Lopez, set to the song " Never Gonna Give Up ". [28] A group of male dancers with top hats perform an opening sequence, before the curtain drops. Lopez makes her glamorous entrance, while wearing the feathered skirt. She rips the skirt off, revealing a sparkly catsuit. She greets the crowds, "Hello Lovers, Let's get it!", before she opens with " Get Right ". [29] Her performance of a "rocked-out" version of "Get Right" contained "infectious horn riffs". [27] She then quickly switches to " Love Don't Cost a Thing ", before stopping to greet the audience again. She resumes with performances of " I'm Into You ", featuring Lil Wayne on the big screen, and " Waiting for Tonight ". [28] "Love Don't Cost a Thing" features a fold-out chair, while "Waiting for Tonight" is performed on a white moving platform set up on the stage.
Following an intercession, the concert's second act, dedicated to Lopez's upbringing in The Bronx, New York and her hip-hop roots, begins. It includes a medley, choreographed by Parris Goebel. [11] Featured artists of all songs appear on the big screen. The act begins with a boxing video set to the song " Louboutins ". The message is to "get back when you fall down". A boxing ring then appears on stage and Lopez emerges with a different costume, a gold cape, and sings " Goin' In ". [30] Her dancers are seen wearing gold and black boxing gloves with glitter on them. After her performance of "Goin' In" finished, Lopez states, "Do you see the fight earlier? When we fall down, we have to get up. It's also how we do it where I come from." [27] Additionally, Lopez talks about the fight: how the "little guy" fell down and got back up despite high competition.
Lopez during a stripped-down performance of "If You Had My Love" (acoustic version).
Following this, the "Back-to-Bronx" medley begins. She is seen wearing a tilted silver cap. She breaks into " I'm Real ", " All I Have " and the murder remix version of " Ain't It Funny ". She finishes off this act with " Jenny from the Block ". Before performing the song, Lopez states, "I'm just a simple girl from the Bronx. Don't believe all this glitter. I'm just a girl from New York, a long way from home." In another concert she states, "I'm just a simple girl from the Bronx with a humble beginning." [27] [31] Robert Copsey of Digital Spy stated that the mood of this was: "fitting for an artist of whom many of her hits punctuated the crowd's teenagehoods", [28] while Rachael Wheeler of Daily Mirror said: "Watching the concert was like going back through my teenage years, past drunken house parties at uni and all the way up to a night out last week." [31]
The concert's third act is based around a theme of "Funk & Love" [27] with an old-school uptown theater theme. During the intermission between the second and third part, a video clip of Lopez and her boyfriend to the song " Baby I Love U! " plays. [28] She then states: "Enough of this lovey dovey shit, gimme some funk!" and sings " Hold It, Don't Drop It ". [31] A medley of " I'm Glad ", " Brave ", " Secretly " then occurs. After a minor break, Lopez returns to the stage and slows it down for a performance of the acoustic version of " If You Had My Love ", and then a heart-warming performance of " Until It Beats No More " while a slideshow video clip featuring pictures and video clips of her and her four-year-old twins is played in the background. [30] During both songs, she wore a flowing turquoise dress and basked in "purple light and smoke". [27]
The fourth act is based around a partying theme. After retreating backstage following "Until It Beats No More", Lopez returns on-stage wearing a tuxedo with pink ruffles while playing a bongo. She then opens this section with " Let's Get Loud " right after playing the bongo drums. As the performance progressed, her dancers ripped off the tuxedo to reveal a black-laced body suit. [27] She then breaks into " Papi " and then " On the Floor ". The show's encore is a performance of " Dance Again ". [28] The opening of the performance featured a video clip in which a masked Lopez declared "You will live, you will love...and you will Dance Again". She is joined by her boyfriend Casper Smart on stage, who also appears in the music video for the song, during the song's dancebreak. [27] [32] [33] [34]
Commercial performance [ ]
Several of Lopez's shows have garnered her spots on Billboard Template:'s Box-score lists. Her Valencia, Venezuela concert made the list's top-ten, ranking at nine having grossed a total of $1,748,020 with 4,900 tickets sold. [35] Her concert in Zurich, Switzerland was ranked twenty-five on the list having grossed $1,142,530 with 10,400 tickets sold. [36] The tour's American leg generated $21.2 million at the Box Office. [37] [38] With ticket sales reported from the first fifteen concert arenas, the tour's revenue reached over $12.7 million, from 164,481 sold seats. For the week of August 31, 2012, Iglesias and Lopez were ranked No. 2 on Billboard Template:'s list of "Top 10 Grossing Tours". [39] All of the leg's concerts, excluding one show in Atlanta , were sold out. [37] [38]
Lopez's concert in Manila, Philippines sold out fully, and according to Manila Times , audiences had to endure "hellish traffic" to get to the venue. [40] In Australia, twenty $800 "meet and greet" tickets were made available per show and successfully sold out swiftly. The tickets were considered over-priced, labeled as "overwhelming" by news.com.au . [41] Her Dubai concert tickets sold out quickly. Sally Edwards, Director of the Dubai Calendar, said Lopez "has shown us why she has been named the number one global celebrity by Forbes Magazine" and called the success overwhelming. [42] Of her Dubai concert, Natalie Long of Tabloid! noted that Lopez sold out at the Dubai Media City Amphitheatre months ahead of time which marked a "rarity". [43]
Critical response [ ]
Template:Double image
The Dance Again World Tour garnered general acclaim throughout its run. Of her concert in Recife , where it rained, The Huffington Post Template:'s Ashley Percival said Lopez's "sex-pack was on show for all to see" as she was "still getting her impressive bod out despite the downpour", calling her a "trooper" for dancing in the rain. [44] Cory Lopez of Celebuzz praised Lopez's physicality and said "despite the heavy downpour, a smiling J.Lo kept the show going". [45] A writer from the Montreal Gazette gave the opening night of the tour with Enrique a positive review, saying that Lopez won by "showering everyone with riches" while Iglesias scored a "partial partial victory by paying attention to the faces in the crowd". Although, the writer felt that Lopez should have had her set second to Iglesias, so she could have had "the glory of the big show-ending moment rather than the glory of the big pre-bathroom-break moment." [34] Rachael Wheeler of Daily Mirror described the show as an "explosion of sound, dance and colour". Wheeler said that while Lopez was "a very small singer on a very big stage" she "absolutely dominated The O2, with massive routines full of hardcore choreography seeing the former dancer strutting." [31] The Guardian Template:'s Caroline Sullivan said of Lopez's stage performance "At the end, it isn't J-Lo the mother or even J-Lo the diva who sticks in the mind, but Jenny from the block, who still knows where she came from". [30] Robert Copsey of the British website Digital Spy said that Lopez looks "mind-bogglingly youthful and trim", and said that her boxing-ring performance of "Goin' In" allowed her "to display her enviable abs and hi-NRG dance moves." [28]
A writer from Today's Zaman said "her stage performance was visually enriched by lasers, costumes and dance moves", [46] while Turkish Weekly said that she "blew away her fans". [47] According to the website Novinite , her Bulgarian concert audience was "mesmerized" by her. [48] Natalie Long from Tabloid praised her uptempo performance but also praised her vocals on "Until It Beats No More", stating that she "proved she was the perfect American Idol judge" with "great pipes". [43] Pocholo Concepcion of the Philippine Daily Inquirer described her performance in Manila, Philippines as "spellbinding" and wrote that her stage act was "powerful enough to soften the hearts of skeptics and critics. Backed by a six-member live band and two backup vocalists, Lopez couldn't do anything wrong – even if at times her solo singing spots revealed the inadequacy of her vocal skills." [49] Amanda Lago of GMA News said that the beginning of the Filipino show was "slightly underwhelming" but the crowd "cheered endlessly and cried out" for Lopez. Lago criticized Lopez's by noting that while "the dancing was flawless from the get-go" the vocals weren't. [50]
Lopez performs "Hold It Don't Drop It".
Hans Nicholas Jong of The Jakarta Post called her Jakarta concert an "explosion of color and sound filled with intricate, heart-pounding choreography" which proved that "she really is still Jenny from the Block". [27] Jong said that she "hit all the dance moves while singing in-tune at the same time without seemingly breaking a single sweat." [27] Chairi Ibrahim from Dyandra Entertainment praised the concert for Lopez having toned it down, stating Lopez was "very cooperative ... she respected our culture." [51] Despite this, some fans felt that she should have appeared "the way she is". [51] Han Wei Chou of Channel NewsAsia said that "There really wasn't a single dull moment" at her Singapore concert, calling her performance "thoroughly enjoyable" to the audience who were "screaming in approval". [52] Reviewing her Australian concert, Ross McRae of the The West Australian said the audience "went wild" and Lopez "lapped up every minute". [53] He noted that Lopez's vocals were "strong and more than capable recreating the radio and club hits" she performed. [53] McRae also praised her humbleness, noting that she was "actually excited about being on stage performing for her fans, rather than a pop diva." [53] Craig Mathieson from The Sydney Morning Herald wrote that it wasn't as "slick as some pop tours" and lacked "momentum and a definable peak". [54] The tour earned Iglesias and Lopez an award for Tour of the Year at the 2013 Latin Billboard Music Awards . [55]
Concert film [ ]
The Dance Again World Tour was filmed in 3D for an upcoming theatrical film, entitled Dance Again . The film's producer, Simon Fields, described it as a "high energy documentary" that will "combine 3D concert performances with 2D-lensed documentary content, which will be shot during Lopez's world tour on stops in Europe, Asia and Australia". According to Fields, the documentary portion of the film will follow both Lopez's personal and professional life, including "her reflections on her romantic happiness" following her divorce from Marc Anthony . Ality Technica will be handling the 3D production for the movie, while Ted Kenney will direct the 3D shoots. Fields, Benny Medina and Lopez will executive produce the film through Nuyorican Productions . Filming for the film began on the October 5 concert in Lisbon, Portugal . [56] Lopez has confirmed that the film will be released in Spring 2013. [57] On December 12, 2014, HBO and HBO Latino announced their plans to air the concert film, Jennifer Lopez: Dance Again , on December 31, 2014. The film also aired for a twenty-four hour marathon from December 31, 2014 to January 1, 2015 on HBO Zone. [58]

Jennifer Lopez is hitting the road this summer for her This Is Me Now… The Tour . On Thursday morning (Feb. 15), the singer announced the 30+ city tour in support of her new album, This Is Me… Now , which is due out on Friday (Feb. 16).

In an interview this week, Lopez said her first studio LP since 2014’s A.K.A. is “the best album that I’ve ever made … The most honest and true – it took a long time for me as a musical artist to get there. I’m really happy and proud of this in a way that I don’t think I ever have been before.”
Lopez’s ninth album is a sequel of sorts to her 2002 This Is Me… Then collection, which she released when she was first dating Ben Affleck, to whom she is now married. “They’ve followed me on that journey and watched me make mistakes and go in and out of relationships and wondered what was going on,” JLo said about her fans.
Lopez and Affleck split in 2004, then reunited in 2021 and tied the knot in a surprise Las Vegas wedding in July 2022 – 20 years after the original album’s release. The new album also features a sequel to a track from the first This Is Me album, “Dear Ben Pt. II,” plus the previously released dance-y single “ Can’t Get Enough .”

EXCLUSIVE: Jennifer Lopez announces ‘This Is Me...Now The Tour’
We can't get enough of Jennifer Lopez.
With the impending release of her ninth studio album, “This Is Me...Now,” the singer exclusively announced on TODAY on Feb. 15 that she is heading on tour this summer with her “This Is Me...Now the Tour.”
The 2024 tour will consist of more than 30 cities across North America, kicking off in June and wrapping at the end of August. Along the way she will make stops in Miami, New York City, Los Angeles and Toronto, performing her biggest hits and new songs from her latest album, including “Can’t Get Enough.”
On Feb. 22, Lopez announced three additional shows due to popular demand in Miami, Toronto and New York City.
It’s a special moment for Lopez, who released one of her most personal albums to date. She has opened up about how “This Is Me...Now” was inspired by her rekindled romance with husband Ben Affleck. Alongside the record, Lopez debuted the accompanying film “This Is Me... Now: A Love Story,” which is described as a “cinematic odyssey” and depicts her journey to love and personal healing. Both were released Feb. 16.
And now, the "This Is Me...Now the Tour" is one added bonus for her fans. The new set of concerts marks J. Lo's first tour in five years, after her successful 2019 tour.

Jennifer Lopez reveals This Is Me... Now tour dates for her return to the stage
Lopez will visit over 30 cities in North America. See the full list of dates here.
Her love don't cost a thing, but you can still buy tickets to see her love story unfold this summer when Jennifer Lopez returns to the stage for her first tour in five years.
The global superstar announced Thursday her upcoming This Is Me... Now tour dates, which will see the 54-year-old visit over 30 cities in North America to perform her back catalog of hits as well as fresh material from her new album This Is Me.... Now and its accompanying narrative film of the same name.

The tour marks the latest milestone in Lopez's This Is Me... Now era, which comprises the album, film, and concert series billed as a sequel to her 2002 album This Is Me... Then — all of which chronicle her love life, particularly her relationship with actor Ben Affleck , both in its original form and its rekindled status in recent years.
In addition to the tour, Lopez recently performed two songs from her new album on Saturday Night Live , where she appeared as a musical guest opposite host Ayo Edebiri.
Leading up to the broadcast, Edebiri's comments from a 2020 episode of the Scam Goddess podcast resurfaced, which saw the Emmy-winning Bear actress criticizing Lopez's career as "one long scam."
Lopez, however, told EW that the two patched things up before the show. "She actually came to my dressing room, and she was very sweet," she said. "She was like, 'Listen, I was young. I was on this thing. I said these things, and I am so sorry.' She had seen my soundcheck, and she's like, 'You are amazing. I'm watching you out there singing and doing your thing. And I'm sorry.' She was very gracious."

Presale tickets will be available via the On the J.Lo site beginning Feb. 20 at 9 a.m. local time, with general sales kicking off Feb. 23 at 10 a.m. local time on Live Nation 's platforms.

Jennifer Lopez is taking her new album, This Is Me... Now, on the road! On Thursday, the singer announced her return to the touring stage with This Is Me...Now The Tour. It's the first time in five years that the singer is taking to the road in support of her album. The last time fans got the JLo touring experience was with her 2019 tour that grossed over $50 million and sold out venues across the country.
Produced by Live Nation, the 30+ city tour kicks off on June 26 in Orlando, FL, at Kia Center, making stops across North America in Miami, Los Angeles, Toronto, her hometown of New York City, and more before wrapping up in Houston, Texas on August 31 at Toyota Center.
Fans can look forward to Lopez performing her catalog of hits across her discography as well as new songs from her album.
Tickets for the upcoming tour will be available beginning with a JLo Fan Club presale on Feb. 20, with additional presales running throughout the week ahead of the general sale starting Feb. 23 at LiveNation.com.

The news of the tour comes days after Lopez walked the red carpet at the premiere of This Is Me... Now: A Love Story at the Dolby Theater in Hollywood on Tuesday, where she spoke with ET about the emotional story that unfolds in the unique cinematic project.
"The album that I made was very honest, about kind of wanting to capture this moment in time of reconnecting with a love," said Lopez. "It seems like a fairytale, but it really wasn't. And so I really wanted to tell that part of the story -- the real story, in a way, but not my autobiographical story."
According to Lopez, she and director/co-writer Dave Meyers "come up with the idea of telling the story of a hopeless romantic who kind of is going through her life's journey in her search for love, and what it means and what it's about."
Lopez shared that she showed This Is Me... Now: A Love Story to her 15-year-old twins -- daughter Emme and son Max, who she shares with ex-husband Marc Anthony -- and explained to them how the project explores a version of real events that blend truth and fictional narrative.
"I was talking to my kids about this, and then they're like, 'Which parts are real and which parts are not?' And I said, 'You will think some parts are real, that are not. And then some parts you don't think are real, are real,'" Lopez recalled. "But it is inspired by a lot of the things I went through and it's really about what it has been for me to be a hopeless romantic my whole life, and some of the pitfalls of that."
For Lopez, it was "kind of exciting and terrifying to explore all of it" in such a public and open space. "But for the first time, I felt really compelled to do something that wasn't about anything except wanting to do something, like art for art's sake, and that's why I did it myself," she added.

What are the dates for the Jennifer Lopez tour?
After initially announcing the tour as ‘This Is Me... Now’ J-Lo has opted to reframe it as a best-of series of shows. The new title ‘This Is Me… Live | The Greatest Hits’ makes clear that it is not just her new tracks that will be on the setlist, but anything from her back catalogue.
Last month Lopez was forced to cancel seven dates from the initial schedule due to poor ticket sales. The concerts in Cleveland, Nashville, Raleigh, Atlanta, Tampa, New Orleans and Houston, slated for 20-31 August, have been removed from sale . With that final stretch of the tour scrapped, the final night with be at Madison Square Gardens in her native New York City.

‘This Is Me... Now’ was recorded between May and August 2022 and completed in June of last year. The record is heavily inspired by Lopez’s rekindled romance and marriage to actor Affleck , with themes of love and self-healing throughout. It is a sequel to Lopez’s third studio album ‘This Is Me...’ The late change to the tour schedule may have left some fans confused but, fear not, J-Lo will still be embarking on a major US tour this summer.

Jennifer Lopez has canceled her ‘ This Is Me… Live’ summer tour to spend more time with her family and is “heartsick” over the decision, the singer announced to fans in her newsletter Friday.

The news does not come as a total surprise, as the tour has been beset with reports of poor ticket sales and many unsold seats on ticketing websites.
Various media reports said that the need for family time was necessary amid reports that she and husband Ben Affleck are splitting; reps for the singer did not comment on the reports.
Sources close to Lopez insisted that the tour was not being canceled due to poor ticket sales, despite the reports and seating charts, and pointed to strong sales in such markets as Newark, Orlando, Miami, Chicago, Anaheim and Toronto. However, seating charts for multiple other dates showed very poor sales.
Lopez initially announced the trek in February to coincide with the release of her latest album “This Is Me… Now” and its accompanying two films, which celebrated her reunion with Affleck. But she quietly canceled some of its dates last month in cities like Cleveland and Nashville, likely due to poor sales. The rebrand suggested a pivot from a tour focusing on the new album’s songs to one spanning her discography, a move that was presumably intended to entice listeners who didn’t connect with her latest material.
Variety will have more on the news as information becomes available.

Inside Jennifer Lopez's 'This Is Me... Now': The Superstar & Her Team Detail Why The New Album Is Unlike Anything She's Done Before
Ten years after Jennifer Lopez’s last album – and more than 20 after it's prequel — 'This Is Me... Now,' has finally arrived. Lopez and her team discuss the inspiration behind her deeply personal return to music.
Since the 1999 launch of her unstoppable music career, Jennifer Lopez has released eight studio albums and over 60 singles that have racked up billions of streams worldwide. So it's hard to believe there's been a full decade between the multihyphenate's last album, 2014's A.K.A., and her ninth studio LP, This Is Me… Now .
Released on Feb. 16 and described as "an intimate, fantastical and narrative-driven reflection of Lopez's journey to find love," This Is Me… Now is the highly anticipated sequel to Lopez's now-iconic This Is Me… Then . The 2002 project spawned megahits "Jenny From the Block" and "All I Have," but it's the hidden gems like "The One," "Again" and "I've Been Thinkin'" that perfectly capture a special moment in time for Lopez, whose then-budding romance with Oscar-winning actor and filmmaker Ben Affleck was beginning to take the world by storm.
Though their widely beloved (and broadcasted) romance fizzled in the early 2000s, "Bennifer" is back together two decades later — and in classic J.Lo fashion, love is inspiring her more than anything else. The 20-year span between losing each other and reconnecting is chronicled in This Is Me… Now , Lopez's self-proclaimed magnum opus.
"In a strange magical twist of fate, I wound up back together with Ben, and it inspired me again to go back in the studio in the same way I did with This Is Me… Then ," Lopez tells GRAMMY.com. "I believe true love exists, I believe that some things are forever.
"If you've ever wondered about that, I'm sharing that with you: Don't give up," she continues. "That was a worthy message to put out into the world because I know I needed that a lot in my life. I wasn't sure and it led me down some very questionable roads. What I think a lot of people do is look for love outside themselves instead of inward, so that more than anything was the inspiration for the new album."
The 13-track LP is accompanied by a musical film, This Is Me…Now: A Love Story , which is available on Prime Video now. Self-funded by Lopez and directed by Dave Myers , the film drives home Lopez's journey of self-love, discovery and awareness while finding her happily ever after.
Lopez, along with BMG's A&R Brandon Riester and the album's executive producer Rogét Chahayed , reflected about her career-defining LP and how it all came together.
From the start, Lopez was relentless about making the album sound incredible, even converting part of her Los Angeles home into a studio and shutting down everything — including stepping back from making movies in order to maintain focus on the recording sessions for This Is Me… Now . She also shared private love letters from Affleck with the songwriters and producers to convey the narrative she wanted to translate into the music.
"She said to me, 'Let's make an album that I'm excited about because I'm in love and that's when I make my best music,'" Riester says. "Jennifer is very much an integral part of the vision and the production and the songwriting on this album. This is her story."
Lopez recruited Chahayed after hearing Jack Harlow 's GRAMMY-nominated No. 1 hit "First Class," which he co-produced in 2022. Their initial conversations about musical influences led to Lopez giving Chahayed the rundown of her and Affleck's history together, along with the concept for the album itself.
"She actually wanted to start making music the next day," Chahayed recalls. "But I definitely needed a few days to process everything because I had been manifesting for a while to be able to work with an artist that has a legacy and decades of success, and my prayers were answered."
This Is Me… Now sees Lopez fully leaning into being a hopeless romantic — something she's been heavily scrutinized over for decades. In the extravagant film of the same name, she makes light of her three failed marriages, but it's with the intention of inspiring others that true love exists, which has always been at the core of Lopez's music.
"We're living in a society where the value of relationships and marriage has been sort of lost," Chahayed suggests. "Her album will not only give people a new perspective on her music in general, but also give them a chance to believe in love again — and feel like there's someone out there for you, even if it's someone that you broke up with 10, 20 years ago."
This Is Me… Now picks up right where 2002's twice platinum-selling This Is Me… Then left off with some obvious nods to the prequel; the most blatant is "Dear Ben Pt. II," a follow up to "Dear Ben," on which Lopez describes Affleck as "my lust, my love, my man, my child, my friend, and my king." Still, the 54-year-old global icon didn't want to get caught up in trying to chase hits or recreate the past.
"We never listened to This Is Me... Then in the studio, not one time. That record is always going to have such a special place in my heart, but the sequel is just like another level," Lopez says. "People who have been on this journey with me and who have seen me fall down and get back up and make mistakes and get divorced — that journey got me to a place where I can now go, 'I've figured some things out about myself.'"
As much as the 13-track LP seizes the fairytale-like rekindling of Lopez and Affleck's relationship, it's also about something much bigger: how self-love, or lack thereof, plays a role in the relationships we have with others. "Hearts and Flowers" is a testament to Lopez's inner strength, as evidenced by the defiant chorus. ("It ain't all hearts and flowers/ So many nights and hours/ Every day of my life, in the grind faithfully/ Superpowers, we all got superpowers," she sings.)
"I'm a more evolved, healed person. I'm not saying I'm completely healed, or that I got it all figured out. I don't. But This Is Me... Now represents where I am in my journey right now," Lopez says.
"It's me embracing all of it, even the bad decisions," she adds. "I had to learn to be loving and forgiving of yourself, because then you can be loving and forgiving of other people. You can be empathetic toward other people and great for the world. But until you can give that to yourself, you can't do anything for anybody."
The Moments
Celebratory songs like lead single "Can't Get Enough," "This Time Around" and penultimate track "Midnight Trip to Vegas" have the same giddiness heard in 2002's "I'm Glad" and "Baby I Love U!" — the final two singles off This Is Me… Then . The autobiographical title track is a culmination of a lifetime, merging Lopez's working-class upbringing in The Bronx with the feeling of gratitude for a second chance at true love with Affleck.
"I watched my mother miss out on her life/ All those could-have-beens became her sacrifice/ But here in the darkness, it's not the future nor the past/ And 'cause it's meant to be with you, boy, it will last," she sings in the opening verse.
Stripped-down ballad "Broken Like Me" unflinchingly stands as Lopez's most personal work to date, as she deconstructs her J.Lo persona into diaristic lyrics that are bound to surprise even longtime fans. "Two babies at home/ Mama had to be strong/ In a battle for love/ In a war of my own/ And I tried to be honest/ But it made me feel weak/ And when I think about it/ It brings me to my knees/ Couldn't look in the mirror/ Afraid what I'd see/ 'Cause I still loved you/ Loved you more than me," Lopez confesses midway through the track, which moved Affleck to tears after hearing it for the first time.
"Ben would come in the studio and spend hours with us and tell us stories to help set the tone," Riester says. "I remember one moment where he said, 'Where's the pain that I went through of not being with the one that I love for so long?' That's how some of the darker songs like 'Rebound' and 'Broken Like Me' were born. It takes the dark to get to the light, and that's a really big theme of this album."
But there were plenty of fun, lighthearted moments, too; like how an Incredible Hulk -themed guitar autographed by Marvel Studios President Kevin Feige was used for "Mad in Love," a lullaby-esque anthem for soulmates everywhere. Or the night before "Midnight Trip to Vegas" was written, which pretty much sums up everything we love about Bennifer 2.0.
"Jennifer texted me and said, 'Hey, what are you doing today?'" Riester recalls. "I responded and then I didn't hear from her. The next thing I notice is all these news alerts that Jen got married, so I'm texting management like, 'Yo, what's going on? Did you guys not want to tell me about this?' They were like, 'We had no idea.'"
He continued, "The whole team had been with her every single day for months, but we found out about it the way everybody else did. But it was an amazing story, because Ben was like, 'Everyone's so worried about all the different elements of this wedding. Let's just put it all aside.' I think that just shows you how much they love each other, because it wasn't about the wedding that's for everybody else. This is about their love for each other."
The Outcome
Whether you've been bumping J.Lo since her 1999 debut, On the 6 , or simply admire her work ethic, This Is Me… Now defies expectations as she reaches the pinnacle of creative freedom.
"This is truly an artist's project because it is her heart and her soul all pushed into a pen and written out for the world to see," Riester says. "I was telling someone the other day, 'When will an album rollout be like this again?' The story really is well-crafted and the music is incredible. Everyone can pull something from it because we've all been through those moments of heartbreak or finding what you think is your true love."
Days before announcing her first tour in five years, Lopez hinted that her ninth studio album, This Is Me... Now , may be her last ("I really feel very fulfilled," she recently told ET ). Whatever her musical future looks like, baring her soul and creating a cinematic experience with This Is Me…Now forced her to grow artistically in ways she never expected — which has brought an entirely new purpose to her remarkable career.
"I've never done anything like this with a record in my life, or felt inspired to do anything like this with an album. This is the most honest record I've ever made," Lopez asserts. "I was able to do that because I was more mature and had done more work on myself to be really open and vulnerable in ways that I've never been. Everything about me is all in here. This is the album that I've been trying to make all my life — and I finally made it."

New Music Friday: Listen To Songs From Ariana Grande, Lil Nas X, Jay-Z & More
The year is already off to a massive start, with Jan. 12 spawning new releases from 21 Savage, ITZY, Jennifer Lopez and many more. Check out some of the hotly anticipated tracks here.
January always marks fresh starts and clean slates as the world collectively turns the page from one year to the next. The world of music is no exception: the second week of 2024 is filled with artists embarking on new eras and album cycles.
On the full-length front, 21 Savage unveiled his third solo LP, american dream , with guest assists from the likes of Summer Walker ("Prove It"), Doja Cat ("N.H.I.E."), Young Thug and Metro Boomin ("Pop Ur S–t") and more while Kali Uchis celebrates her just-announced first pregnancy with longtime boyfriend Don Toliver by delivering her second Spanish-language studio set Orchídeas .
Meanwhile, Reneé Rapp brings the new Mean Girls musical movie to life as Gen Z's Regina George, with a soundtrack that also features Megan Thee Stallion , Auli'i Cravalho, Angourie Rice and more, and K-pop act ITZY makes a statement on their sophomore Korean-language album, Born To Be , which gives all five members a chance to shine with individual solo tracks on top of swaggering bangers like "Untouchable" and the title track.
In addition to star-studded album drops , Jan. 12 sees several big single releases too. Press play on hotly anticipated musical resets from Ariana Grande and Lil Nas X , lead singles from Jennifer Lopez and Sheryl Crow , and a monumental collaboration between D'Angelo and Jay-Z for the new movie The Book of Clarence below.
Ariana Grande — "yes, and?"
Ariana Grande is officially back and ready to own everything . For "yes, and?" — her first new musical offering since 2020's Positions — the superstar is doling out heavy-hitting words to live by, disguised as a glossy pop confection that takes an irresistible cue from Madonna 's "Vogue."
Both an exercise in self-affirmation and a runway-ready Pride anthem, "yes, and?" finds Grande unapologetically sharing her truth in a way she hasn't since 2018's "thank u, next." Her voice dripping with honey, the soon-to-be Wicked star slyly addresses the recent tabloid fodder surrounding her personal life.
"Now I'm so done with caring/ What you think, no, I won't hide/ Underneath your own projections/ Or change my most authentic life," she vows in between spine-tingling harmonies and plenty of vocal fireworks. Ari only gets more blunt from there, clapping back with her whole chest about the obsession with her body, relationship status, sex life and more. In her words, "Yes…and?"
Jennifer Lopez — "Can't Get Enough"
Jennifer Lopez's ninth studio album, This Is Me… Now , has been a long time coming . But if lead single "Can't Get Enough" is any indication, the sequel to 2002's This Is Me… Then will be well worth the wait when it arrives Feb. 16. The track, which samples the late Alton Ellis' 1967 release "Still in Love," is a fizzy, funky delight that pops like a blast of champagne straight out the bottle.
On the song's chorus, the multi-hyphenate superstar giddily professes just how much she loves being in love (and back in love with now-husband Ben Affleck). And while the accompanying music video pokes fun at her trio of past marriages, fans can rest assured she's singing the lovestruck lyrics to the same Dunkin'-lovin' guy she was serenading 21 years ago on This Is Me… Then .
Jeymes Samuel x D'Angelo x Jay-Z — "I Want You Forever"
A new D'Angelo single would be a major event. So would a new Jay-Z single. After all, it's quickly coming up on 10 years since the neo-soul star released his last album, 2014's Black Messiah and the rap mogul's last solo single was the title track off 2017's 4:44 .
However, director Jeymes Samuel managed to coax both men back into the studio to join forces for the soundtrack of his new biblical film The Book of Clarence starring Lakeith Stanfield. On "I Want You Forever," D'Angelo holds court with a hypnotic, repetitive hook before ceding the mic to Hov for the song's lone, pleading verse.
Lil Nas X — "J CHRIST"
Nearly three years after giving the devil a lap dance in the hellish music video for his No. 1 hit "Montero (Call Me By Your Name)," Lil Nas X is flipping the script and ascending to heaven on his new single "J CHRIST." Well, not for too long — turns out a giant stripper pole connects the celestial realm with the fires of purgatory, and Lil Nas X is equally at home in each.
The track's high-concept, cinematic music video has it all: angelic doppelgängers of everyone from Taylor Swift , Mariah Carey and Oprah to Michael Jackson and Barack Obama ; Lil Nas cooking up a cauldron filled with human limbs; and yes, even the rapper pinned to a cross in a visual sure to enrage the critics who were already up in arms before the track was even released. But by song's end, as Lil Nas X takes on the role of Noah emerging from a worldwide flood, the GRAMMY winner makes clear the hip-hop banger isn't just religious cosplay — it's a new beginning.
Sheryl Crow — "Evolution"
Sheryl Crow is uncharacteristically on edge on "Evolution," the lead single and title track of her forthcoming 11th studio album. The queen of bright singer/songwriter jams like "All I Wanna Do" and "Soak Up the Sun" (and newly inducted Rock and Roll Hall of Famer) takes aim at the encroaching threat of artificial intelligence to the music industry and creativity at large on the spacey track.
To top it all off, she even recruited Tom Morello of Rage Against the Machine to concoct a supercharged guitar solo that ratchets the uneasiness up to 11 as Crow warns, "Where are we headed in this paradise?/ We are passengers and there's no one at the wheel."

Everything We Know About Jennifer Lopez's New Album 'This Is Me… Now'
After months of buildup, Jennifer Lopez has finally announced the release date for her first album in a decade, 'This Is Me… Now.' Here's everything GRAMMY.com could find about it.
Way back in November 2002, Jennifer Lopez released This Is Me… Then — a highly personal looking-glass into her relationship with Ben Affleck. Twenty-two years later, the two-time GRAMMY nominee is closing the loop with the aptly titled This Is Me… Now .
Not only is there a yawning gap between prequel and sequel, but Lopez hasn't released a new album since 2014's A.K.A. (Unless you count the soundtrack to 2022's Marry Me , which she starred in alongside Owen Wilson and Colombian singer Maluma ; therein, she and Maluma performed the music.)
On Nov. 27, Lopez finally revealed the release date for This Is Me… Now , as well as a teaser trailer for a film of the same name — to be released on the same day. Here's a rundown of what we know about Lopez's long-awaited new dispatch to the world — over your speakers, and on your screen.
Both Album And Film Will Release Feb. 16
That's what Lopez revealed on Nov. 27. After you absorb the album, enjoy "an intimate, fantastical and narrative-driven reflection of Lopez's journey to find love" on Prime Video.
The First Single Will Stream On Jan. 10
Said single is titled "Can't Get Enough"; just days into the new year, you can cue it up. On social media, J. Lo also teased This Is Me… Now 's title track, with a snippet of the music.
This Is Me… Now Continues Its Predecessor's Love Story
Lopez and Affleck have a long history — much longer than This Is Me… Then could possibly contain. They first dated from 2002 to 2004; they called off their engagement in 2004.
In 2021, they began dating again; in 2022, they wed. All of this, permeated with the pressures of media attention and the growing pains of love, promises to live inside This Is Me… Now 's grooves.
"We captured me at this moment in time when I was reunited with the love of my life, and we decided we were going to be together forever. The whole message of the album then is this love exists. This is a real love," she told Zane Lowe last year.
"Now I think what the message of the album is very much if you were wondering if you have, like me at times, lost hope, almost given up, don't," Lopez continued. "Because true love does exist, and some things do last forever, and that's real."
This Is Me… Now Marks A New Label Partnership
Back in September 2023, Lopez announced a new recording and publishing partnership with BMG; This Is Me… Now will mark the first fruitage of this alliance.
"We are thrilled to have the opportunity to work with her and her team to release her first album in nearly a decade," BMG CEO Thomas Coesfeld said in a statement.
Coesfield also called Lopez a "global superstar artist, entertainer… a phenomenon" — and that's exactly why This Is Me… Now will be such a milestone. Keep checking GRAMMY.com as more information about This Is Me… Now comes to light.

Jennifer Lopez's Biggest Hits, From Her Best Hip-Hop Collaborations To The Dance Floor Classics
As fans await the much-anticipated arrival of J.Lo's new album, 'This Is Me…Now,' revisit the hits and deep cuts that have made her a beloved icon for nearly three decades.
Jennifer Lopez boasts one of the most impactful resumes in entertainment. Along with selling over 80 million albums and garnering four Billboard Hot 100 chart-toppers , she has smashed barriers for Latin performers as a career chameleon — becoming the ultimate multi-hyphenate icon.
It feels almost unbelievable to think that J.Lo's balancing act was once deemed too risky. By the time she was releasing her debut album, On the 6 , in 1999, Lopez had made a name for herself in Hollywood thanks to her starring role in 1997's biographical musical drama Selena (which foreshadowed her power in the entertainment business, as her $1 million salary made her the highest paid Latina actress at the time ). Under the guidance of music mogul Tommy Mottola, On the 6 was met with much acclaim and propelled J.Lo into another stratosphere.
Now, nearly 25 years later, Lopez has released eight albums, starred in over 30 films — which have collectively grossed over $3 billion — and embarked on numerous business ventures, including her launch of JLo Beauty and alcohol brand Delola. Her fragrances alone have raked in over $2 billion.
Of the many hats Lopez wears, her music career is the most awe-inspiring for many of her fans. In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, and ahead of Lopez's eagerly awaited This Is Me… Now album (her first in nearly a decade), GRAMMY.com is revisiting the hits that made the Bronx native a household name, as well as lesser-known songs that rival even her biggest anthems.
"If You Had My Love," On the 6 (1999)
"If You Had My Love" was first offered to King of Pop, Michael Jackson , before finding a home on Lopez's debut album, On the 6 , named after a New York City subway line that she frequented before fame. On the Rodney Jerkins -produced tune, Lopez's assertiveness takes center stage as she addresses a potential lover: "Now if I give you me, this is how it's got to be/ First of all I won't take you cheating on me/ Tell me who can I trust if I can't trust in you/ And I refuse to let you play me for a fool."
Staying atop the Hot 100 for five consecutive weeks, "If You Had My Love" was undeniable proof that Lopez was capable of achieving crossover success in the music industry. It also coincided with 1999's "Latin Explosion" — which launched the careers of fellow Latin pop icons Shakira and Ricky Martin .
"Waiting for Tonight," On the 6 (1999)
Of all of Lopez's smash hits, "Waiting for Tonight" is arguably one of the most timeless. As Lopez's first song to top the Dance Club Songs chart (she has since scored 18), "Waiting for Tonight" is synonymous with helping to usher in the Y2K era, thanks to its celebratory lyrics and accompanying New Year's Eve-themed video. It showed that she had critical clout, too, as "Waiting for Tonight" earned Lopez her first GRAMMY nomination for Best Dance Recording in 2000.
The Latin house anthem is so quintessentially J.Lo that it's easy to forget that it's a remake of short-lived girl group 3rd Party's song , further exemplifying her star power. What's more, it teased her future Spanish-language project, as she cut a sultry Spanish version titled "Una Noche Más" which closes out On the 6 .
"Let's Get Loud," On the 6 (1999)
On the 6 opens with a string of R&B tracks — including "Feelin' So Good" featuring Fat Joe and Big Pun — before taking a different turn with "Let's Get Loud," which flaunts Lopez's Latin heritage. Within the first few seconds, the proud Nuyorican declares "Ya Jeny llegó, presente!" (translating to "Jenny has arrived, present!"), and it's impossible not to dance along.
Co-written by Gloria Estefan , the salsa number mostly flew under the radar, never cracking the Hot 100. Even so, "Let's Get Loud" managed to score Lopez her second GRAMMY nomination for Best Dance Recording in 2001. It also remains one of J.Lo's signature songs, becoming a set list staple and playing part in career-defining performances, including the Super Bowl halftime show in early 2020 and Joe Biden's inauguration the next year.
"Love Don't Cost a Thing," J.Lo (2001)
A self-proclaimed "hopeless romantic," Lopez told potential suitors that her love don't cost a thing on her second album, J.Lo . Reaching No. 3 on the Hot 100 and even taking the top spot in several countries, the song's commercial success solidified her hitmaker status, simultaneously thrusting her relationship with then-boyfriend Sean "Diddy" Combs further into the spotlight. It's rumored that "Love Don't Cost a Thing" was aimed toward the Bad Boy Records founder: "When I took a chance, thought you'd understand/ Baby, credit cards aren't romance/ Still, you're tryna buy what's already yours/ What I need from is not available in stores," she sings in the second verse.
"Love Don't Cost a Thing" also kicked off Lopez's tradition of releasing catchy earworms like "I'm Glad," "I'm Into You," and "Marry Me" that chronicle the A-lister's quest for happily ever after.
"Walking on Sunshine," J.Lo (2001)
With anticipation-filled lyrics like "I can't wait, wanna see how this night is gonna be," "Walking on Sunshine" (not to be confused with Katrina and the Waves ' 1985 classic) sounds like a sequel to On the 6 's "Waiting for Tonight." Lopez even performed a mashup of the songs during her 2001 tour.
The infectious song follows platinum hits "I'm Real" and "Play" on J.Lo — and yet, it still manages to outshine both. At its core, "Walking on Sunshine" is pure bliss, and perfectly captures the dance-pop genre that flourished in the early aughts.
"I'm Real" (Murder Remix) feat. Ja Rule, J to tha L-O! The Remixes (2001)
Armed with a slinky smooth Rick James sample, Ja Rule 's grittiness paired with Lopez's soft coos are a match made in vocal heaven on the "Murder Remix" of "I'm Real," which pushed her more into urban territory after Black radio stations complained that her J.Lo album lacked an R&B-leaning single. (And Ja Rule screaming "What's my motherf—in' name?," to which Lopez responds "R-U-L-E, still reigns as one of the best opening lines in a song.)
Despite drawing criticism at the time due to Lopez's use of the n-word , the collaboration became so popular that it was added to the reissue of J.Lo , making the original version seem almost nonexistent — paving the way for more major reworkings of Lopez's songs, including "I'm Gonna Be Alright" and "Ain't It Funny." The latter started as a Latin pop record before being reimagined as a hip-hop track with all-new lyrics and an in-your-face "Flava In Ya Ear" sample, making it completely unrecognizable to listeners while serving multiple demographics.
"I ' m Gonna Be Alright" (Track Masters Remix) feat. Nas, J to tha L-O! The Remixes (2001)
Reworked for her J to tha L-O! The Remixes album, "I'm Gonna Be Alright" is easily Lopez's most forgotten hit — but it's one of her finest, thanks to Lopez's confident delivery, along with its captivating melody and resilient lyrics. "I said I couldn't do it but I did it/ After telling everybody that I wasn't with it," she sings on the chorus. "Though it brings tears to my eyes, I can feel it/ And that voice inside says I'm gonna be alright."
Featuring Nas (who replaced then-rising rapper 50 Cent , which ignited a feud between the two), and a sample of "Why You Treat Me So Bad" by Club Nouveau , "I'm Gonna Be Alright" stands out as one of Lopez's few singles that deal with a failed relationship.
"Still," This Is Me… Then (2002)
Creatively, Lopez was at the top of her game when her third studio album, This Is Me… Then , arrived in late 2002. Yet, it sold fewer copies compared to J.Lo , even despite producing megahits "Jenny from the Block" and "All I Have" (more on those later). As iconic as those songs are, they don't compare to the soulful album's opener "Still," which set the perfect tone for This Is Me… Then — her most romantic and sonically cohesive project to date.
Built around a sample of Teddy Pendergrass ' 1979 song "Set Me Free" and enhanced with synthetic record scratches for a retro feel, the lyrics heard in "Still" are actually quite simple. But it's the haunting melody and Lopez's sincerity that pulls in the listener immediately, and makes them wonder why it wasn't released as a single in lieu of "Baby, I Love U!," which stalled at No. 72 on the Hot 100.
"Jenny from the Block" feat. Styles P and Jadakiss, This Is Me… Then (2002)
It's a running joke that Lopez shouts out The Bronx every chance she gets, so it's only fitting that a song like "Jenny from the Block" exists in her arsenal.
Featuring The LOX 's Styles P and Jadakiss , "Jenny from the Block" teeters on pretentious as Lopez insists that fame and fortune haven't changed her. But fans and music lovers alike ate it up: The song spent three weeks at No. 3 on the Hot 100 and remains one of her most-streamed and highest-charting singles.
At the time, she was still riding high off making history as the first person to have a No. 1 album ( J.Lo ) and movie ( The Wedding Planner ) in the same week . By then, Lopez and then-boyfriend (and now husband!) Ben Affleck's romance had turned into total tabloid fodder, as seen in its accompanying video — which is infiltrated with shots of Bennifer on a yacht, grabbing lunch, and stopping for gas while the paparazzi captures their every move.
In a lot of ways, "Jenny from the Block" represents just how ubiquitous J.Lo was in the early 2000s. Outside the Bennifer craze, the rags-to-riches song remains an ode to Lopez's Bronx upbringing. It even birthed Becky G's "Becky from the Block" and seemingly inspired Fergie 's "Glamorous," which topped the Hot 100 in 2007.
"All I Have" feat. LL Cool J, This Is Me… Then (2002)
Lopez and LL Cool J 's chemistry is undeniable on "All I Have." Relying on a controversial sample of Debra Laws' "Very Special," the song's call-and-response quality is what makes it so fun to sing along to even after all these years.
Though the ballad showcases Lopez's softer side, female empowerment takes over: "'Cause I'm good holdin' down my spot/ And I'm good reppin' the girls on the block/ And I'm good, I got this thing on lock/ So without me you'll be fine, right," she sings on the song's pre-chorus.
"All I Have" not only became Lopez's fourth No. 1 hit, but thanks to its holiday-timed release and winter wonderland-themed video, it was dubbed a "Christmastime breakup theme."
"Get Right," Rebirth (2005)
In the three-year gap between This Is Me... Then and Lopez's fourth album, Rebirth , she hit a career low when Gigli bombed at the box office. She and Ben Affleck famously called off their engagement a mere five months later. Surprisingly, though, much of Rebirth is void of heartbreak and takes a lighter approach, as evidenced by the horn-laden lead single "Get Right," which sees Lopez enjoying herself at a club.
"My hips moving, oh, so slow/ Bar tab looking like a car note," she sings in the second verse. At face value, it's easy to view "Get Right" as just another dance tune, but it doubles as a metaphor for Lopez's openness to finding love again in the face of heartbreak.
"Qué Hiciste," Como Ama una Mujer (2007)
Lopez fully embraced her Puerto Rican roots from day one, recording Spanish-language and bilingual songs here and there, like 1999's "No Me Ames" and 2001's "Cariño." But after recording 2004's "Escapémonos," a duet with then-husband Marc Anthony , she was inspired to go all in — and she did so with 2007's Como Ama una Mujer .
A self-described "dream come true," Como Ama una Mujer spawned the rock-infused "Qué Hiciste" (translating into "What Did You Do"), Lopez's first Spanish-language song to crack the Hot 100 at No. 86 — though it ruled the US Hot Latin Songs chart. On the tune, Lopez sings from a scorned woman's perspective (e.g., "Hoy empañaste con tu furia mi mirada," which translates to "Today you clouded my gaze with your fury"), showing off her flair for drama with a blazing hot video to match.
"Stay Together," Brave (2007)
Seven months after Como Ama una Mujer 's release, Lopez returned to her more radio-friendly sound, but it came with a funky twist à la her sixth album, Brave . Lead singles "Do It Well" and "Hold It Don't Drop It" were lauded by music critics, though "Stay Together," the LP's opener, arguably steals the show.
On the pro-monogamy track, Lopez exudes confidence while dropping words of wisdom: "Through the bumpy roads, the others bite the dust/ 'Cause they be thinking they're in love when they're in lust."
"On the Floor" feat. Pitbull, Love? (2011)
Ahead of joining the 10th season of "American Idol" as a judge, "On the Floor" was the chart comeback Lopez needed after two back-to-back underperforming albums. The lead single off her seventh studio album, Love? , pays homage to her dance background as she sings lyrics like "If you're a criminal, kill it on the floor/ Steal it quick on the floor" over a thumping beat.
Heavily interpolating Kaoma's "Lambada" from 1989 and featuring guest verses from Pitbull , "On the Floor" skyrocketed to No. 1 in over 30 countries and became 2011's best-selling single by a female artist , reinstating Lopez's staying power. (To further prove its impact, there are two versions of "On The Floor" on Spotify — both of which have more than 400 million streams each.)
"First Love," A.K.A. (2014)
Lopez was dating backup dancer Casper Smart, who was nearly 20 years her junior, when she dropped the feel-good "First Love." Their age difference raised eyebrows, but in typical J.Lo fashion, she wore her heart on her sleeve.
On the percussion-heavy track, she sounds carefree while seemingly acknowledging her failed romances. "I wish you were my first love/ 'Cause if you were first/ Baby, there would have been no second, third or fourth love," she sings on the chorus.
Even though it didn't fare well on the Hot 100, it marked her first and only time joining forces with pop genius Max Martin . It also gave Lopez her 15th No. 1 dance hit, tying with Donna Summer for the seventh-most on the chart at the time. Earning three more No. 1 dance hits between 2014 and 2020, Lopez surpassed Summer with an impressive 18.
In the nine years that have passed since Lopez's last studio album, A.K.A. , Lopez has released dozens of one-off singles, including "Ain't Your Mama," "El Anillo," "Dinero," and "Medicine." Much to her fans' surprise and delight in the fall of 2022, she commemorated the 20th anniversary of This Is Me... Then with an announcement of This Is Me… Now , an aptly-titled sequel to her 2002 album. Lopez told Vogue that the forthcoming endeavor — which chronicles her rekindled relationship with now-husband Ben Affleck — is not only her most honest work to date, but "a culmination of who I am as a person and an artist."
While J.Lo has yet to announce an official release date, she just performed nine songs from the album at a special Apple Music Live show on Sept. 21. Once This Is Me… Now is finally unveiled, it will unlock a new era for the triple threat — one that only continues her awe-inspiring, ever-influential legacy.

Jennifer Lopez cancels 2024 tour This Is Me: 'Completely heartsick and devastated'
Jennifer Lopez has canceled her summer North American tour , which was to be her first in five years, weeks before she was scheduled to go on the road.
The pop star made the announcement Friday in her On The JLo fan newsletter.
"Representatives for Live Nation announced today that the Jennifer Lopez US Summer 2024 Tour 'THIS IS ME...LIVE' is canceled, citing ... 'Jennifer is taking time off to be with her children, family and close friends,'" the newsletter reads.
The statement was followed by a personal note , "A Special Message to My JLovers OnTheJLo."
"I am completely heartsick and devastated about letting you down. Please know that I wouldn’t do this if I didn’t feel that it was absolutely necessary. I promise I will make it up to you and we will all be together again," Lopez wrote. "I love you all so much. Until next time..."

USA TODAY has reached out to Live Nation for comment.
Lopez's first show of the tour had been slated for June 26 in Orlando, Florida.
This Is Me... Live announcement comes after seven tour dates were canceled
The announcement comes weeks after several shows on the tour were canceled without explanation. According to Ticketmaster, Lopez's scheduled performances in Nashville, Tennessee; New Orleans; Raleigh, North Carolina; Atlanta; Houston; Cleveland and Tampa, Florida would no longer take place.
"Unfortunately, the event organizer has had to cancel your event," the message for those pages reads.
This is Me...Live was a 30-date arena tour that was going to feature Lopez's chart-breakers and classic hits from her discography, like songs "On The Floor," "Let's Get Loud" and "Jenny from the Block." Her most recent tour in 2019, the It's My Party tour, sold out venues across the country.
The tour was in support of her new album, “This is Me … Now,” which released in February. The record was accompanied by an Amazon Prime musical movie, “ This is Me … Now: A Love Story ."
Speaking to USA TODAY earlier this year about "This is Me ... Now" possibly being her swan song, Lopez said, "This was going to be the quintessential thing I have been searching for and wanted to say about love."
"I’ve been on this search for so long, since people first met me and my first record came out and even before that in my first movie role, where I’ve been on this journey trying to figure this thing out for myself. This (album) kind of closed the loop in a way,” she said. “It captures this moment to really say the things I want to say about love, and that is that true love does exist and some things are forever. Please don’t give up on that because that’s all that matters in life … love.”'
Bennifer timeline: Their love story spans two decades, two engagements
Separate outings have fueled speculation about marriage with Ben Affleck
Lopez's announcement also comes amid widespread speculation about her marriage of nearly two years to Ben Affleck.
After various media reports suggested Lopez and Affleck may no longer be living together, the Hollywood A-List couple has been increasingly under the microscope, with media prying over their whereabouts and whether both are still wearing their rings.
On May 16, Lopez and Affleck were photographed together for the first time in over a month, with each spotted wearing their respective wedding rings.
The two were engaged to each other twice: first in 2002 then again in 2021. The couple got married in a late-night ceremony in Las Vegas on July 16, 2022, which Lopez called "the best possible wedding we could have imagined."
This is the second marriage for Affleck and the fourth for Lopez.
Tour refunds for JLo tickets
Tickets will automatically be refunded, according to the newsletter.

Fact Check: Jennifer Lopez Supposedly Was a Backup Dancer for Janet Jackson in Early '90s. Here's the Truth
Singer/actress Jennifer Lopez was a backup dancer for pop star Janet Jackson in the early 1990s.
True ( About this rating? )
In July 2024, a post on X went viral , claiming that singer and actress Jennifer Lopez once worked as a "backing," or backup, dancer for singer Janet Jackson in the early 1990s. This post, which received 2.5 million views as of this writing, featured a still image from Jackson's music .video clip for her 1993 single "That's The Way Love Goes," taken from her eponymous album, "Janet." The caption read:
jennifer lopez was janet jackson's back up dancer in the early 90s, she was gonna go on tour with her until she decided to quit to do her own thing
(popculture/X)
The claim is true. Lopez did work as a backup dancer for Jackson in the early '90s and appeared in the "That's the Way Love Goes" video. In the photo attached to the X post, Lopez is clearly visible, leaning on the back of the couch on which Jackson is reclining. You can watch the full version of the video clip here:
Released in April 1993, the video featured Lopez playing the role of one of Jackson's friends who dances along to the song as it plays on the stereo. Upon its release, "That's the Way Love Goes" became a massive hit, reaching No. 1 in multiple countries .
Lopez is credited as a "Dancer" on the official IMDb page for the video. The IMDb synopsis provides further context:
The music video was directed by René Elizondo, Jr. in March 1993. Set in a loft, Jackson is depicted amongst friends and is persuaded to play her new single. Jackson plays the song, briefly interrupted by a dancer who pauses it to express her approval. The song resumes while Jackson and company begin to dance, ending with Jackson talking and joking amongst her dancers. The video was choreographed by Tina Landon. To build anticipation, a promotional advertisement was aired on music channels for several weeks prior to the video's premiere, depicting Jackson narrating and introducing her dancers from behind a camera lens. The video is also infamous for introducing a then-unknown Jennifer Lopez, who appeared as a backing dancer and had a spoken line in the video's opening dialogue.
Indeed, Elizondo Jr., a dancer, songwriter and music video director from Mexico, directed several Jackson video videos , including "That's the Way Love Goes." He was also Jackson's second husband at the time, with the two marrying in 1991 and divorcing two years later.
Snopes unearthed the promotional advertisement for the single referenced on IMDb, which had been shared to X in April 2023. In the brief video, Jackson narrates off-screen, introducing Lopez as one of her "latest additions to the kids":
Lopez's involvement with Jackson was reportedly intended to extend beyond the video clip. According to a 2001 feature article in R&B and hip-hop outlet Vibe magazine , Jackson not only revealed herself to be a fan of Lopez's music, but she also admitted the "Jenny From the Block" singer was supposed to be one of the backing dancers on the Janet World Tour , which began in November 1993, several months after the video clip was released. However, Lopez pulled out to focus on her own career. Jackson recalled in the Vibe interview:
Do you have a favorite Jennifer Lopez song? Yeah, I do. "Secretly" on her new album. I love the way she's singing. And I like what she's saying. Do you remember when she was one of your dancers? Yes. She was supposed to do the whole janet tour, but she only did the "That's the Way Love Goes" video. Then she called and said she wanted out, because she wanted to do her own thing. She probably wanted it to be her video. Well, she's doing it now. And she's doing it very well.
Before appearing in Jackson's video, Lopez was a backing dancer, or "Fly Girl" as they were known, on the Fox television sketch comedy show " In Living Color ." The series, which ran from 1990 to 1994, lampooned Jackson in several sketches, including satirizing her video clips and a movie appearance . However, Lopez, who appeared on "In Living Color" from 1991 to 1993, did not participate in any of these Jackson-centric sketches.
Snopes has previously reported on both performers, including the rumor that Jackson was banned from performing at the NFL Super Bowl , and a claim about Lopez's Spanish-language address at President Joe Biden's inauguration .

Are Big Music Tours Really in Trouble?
High-profile cancellations from Jennifer Lopez and the Black Keys have armchair analysts talking. But industry insiders say live music is still thriving.
By Ben Sisario and Joe Coscarelli
For the concert business, 2023 was a champagne-popping year. The worst of the pandemic comfortably in the rearview, shows big and small were selling out, with mega-tours by Taylor Swift, Beyoncé, Drake and Bruce Springsteen pushing the industry to record ticket sales.
This year, as with much of the economy, success on the road seems more fragile. A string of high-profile cancellations, and slow sales for some major events, have raised questions about an overcrowded market and whether ticket prices have simply gotten too expensive.
Most conspicuously, Jennifer Lopez and the Black Keys have canceled entire arena tours. In the case of the Black Keys — a standby of rock radio and a popular touring draw for nearly two decades — the fallout has been severe enough that the band has parted ways with its two managers, the industry giant Irving Azoff and Steve Moir. Through a representative, Azoff and Moir said they had “amicably parted” with the band.
At Coachella, usually so buzzy that it sells out well before any performers are announced, tickets for the second of the California festival’s two weekends were still available by the time it opened in April.
Those issues have stoked headlines about a concert business that may be in trouble. But the reality, many insiders say, is more complex, with no simple explanation for problems on a range of tours, and a business that may be leveling out after a couple of extraordinary years when fans rushed to shows after Covid-19 shutdowns.
“I think it’s normalized back to the pre-Covid era,” said Rich Schaefer, the president of global touring at AEG, the company behind tours by Swift and the Rolling Stones. “Hot acts are going to sell tickets. Middle acts are going to sell, but take longer. And acts that don’t have a lot of heat on them are going to struggle.”
In a statement, Live Nation said that so far this year, sales are up from the same point in 2023, with over 100 million tickets sold. “Every year,” the company said, “some events naturally fall off for various reasons, and in 2024 across all venue types we’ve seen a 4 percent cancellation rate — which is flat to last year.”
In addition to Swift’s Eras Tour, which continues to be a phenomenon in Europe, hot events this year include tours by Olivia Rodrigo, Coldplay, Morgan Wallen and Zach Bryan. Other festivals, like Lollapalooza in Chicago, have had notably strong sales.
Still, prominent cancellations of high-priced shows is another possible P.R. headache for Live Nation, the owner of Ticketmaster, which last month was sued by the Justice Department over accusations that it operates an illegal monopoly that stifles competition and results in high prices and fees. Live Nation has denied those allegations.
The key worry throughout the business is that ticket prices, which have been rising steadily for years , may now be so high that they are deterring fans from all but their once-in-a-lifetime, bucket-list shows. Tickets, even for many major tours, no longer vanish instantly.
When Billie Eilish put her latest arena tour on sale in April, for example, upper-deck seats at some venues were going for over $200, and took weeks to sell.
A joint tour by the rapper Future and the producer Metro Boomin, who shared a pair of No. 1 albums and a chart-topping hit single earlier this year, has also lagged. Even with tickets as low as $44.50, the opening-night concert in Kansas City, Mo., in July, still has thousands of seats for sale at all levels. To the chagrin of underperforming acts, the strength or weakness of sales is now evident in real time on Ticketmaster, which displays blue dots for every unsold seat (and pink dots for ones being offered for resale).
Last year, the average ticket price for one of the top 100 tours around the world was $131, up 23 percent from the year before, according to Pollstar, a trade publication that tracks concert tickets.
Steve Martin of Paladin Artists, a booking agent for classic rock acts like David Gilmour of Pink Floyd, said that below the level of pop superstars like Swift, artists have become acutely aware of the economic pressures facing their fans.
“The meat of the business is made up of things like classic rock packages,” Martin said. “Those people are much more price sensitive. Working-class people are concerned about groceries and the price of gas.”
No single explanation can cover the range of problems in the live market this year. Some tours, like the Black Keys’, may simply be a matter of the band overestimating demand.
In 2021, the Black Keys left their longtime manager for a new partnership with Azoff and Moir , who also work with John Mayer and the Grateful Dead spinoff Dead & Co., and the band later praised Azoff’s “focus on touring and selling our tickets.” But even after a new album — the band’s 12th — was released in April, concert sales lagged, leading to the cancellations and a housecleaning behind the scenes.
In a social media post after the tour was abandoned, the group said it would “make some changes” to its touring plan to offer a more “intimate experience.” A representative for the band’s label did not respond to a request for comment on the management changes.
Nostalgia alone may not be enough to easily pack venues across the country. Lopez, though still a movie star and a tabloid feature, has not had a hit song in a decade . Tickets to see the ongoing arena tour from Justin Timberlake have been available on both the primary and secondary markets, with prices on StubHub sometimes falling well below face value.
Fans outside of high-demand markets like New York and Los Angeles do not always need to rush the digital queue the moment tickets go on sale. Some genres, like hip-hop, tend to move tickets more slowly than others, but can still sell out before showtime. The latest leg of Nicki Minaj’s tour, for example, is a sea of blue dots.
Many factors go into the price of the ticket, from the costs of gas and crew salaries — which have risen since the pandemic — to bigger-picture economics amortized over the course of an entire tour. Global promoters like Live Nation and AEG often offer artists a guaranteed payment covering all their shows; a bigger guarantee means that prices must be higher to recoup that investment.
Dan Wall, Live Nation’s executive vice president of corporate and regulatory affairs, said that while promoters may suggest pricing based on a deal guarantee, “it’s the artist’s team that ultimately decides ticket prices.”
Armchair analysis of ticket sales has become yet another element of modern fandom to be memed and weaponized, upping the stakes. As industry watchers on social media race to demonstrate the dominance of their favorites, screen grabs of available seats for upcoming concerts have gone viral, leading to media coverage.
“I feel like people online just sort of realized that you can look at seat maps and see how shows are doing,” said Sam Hunt, an executive at the touring agency Wasserman Music. “So I think part of it is that maybe not a ton has changed in the touring business — not every swing is a home run — but people are paying more attention to it and having a typically internet-y response.”
Still, the perception among some music fans is that large-scale concerts are more of a luxury than they once were.
Cliff Russell, 39, said in an interview that his two teenage daughters were interested in seeing blockbuster tours this year from acts like Rodrigo, Drake, Eilish and Swift.
But after the family, living outside Toronto, spent big for tickets to see Swift’s Eras Tour in November — with costs totaling near $3,000 for four tickets, “not counting transportation, parking, souvenirs” — spending another $300 per ticket for upper-deck seats to see another pop star just wasn’t in the cards.
“What was once a holy grail ticket price is now the average,” Russell said. “You’ve got to be really picky and choosy.”

Latto's Sugar Honey Iced Tea tour follows the release of her third studio album, an ode to her Georgia roots that features fellow Southern artists like Megan Thee Stallion , Ciara , Coco Jones , Young Nudy, Flo Milli , Teezo Touchdown and more.
The "Big Mama" rapper opened up about what inspired her album's title in her Billboard cover story earlier this summer, saying, "When I met [producers] Pooh [Beatz] and [Go] Grizz[ly] and locked in with them, everything just felt Southern ."
"One day, shortly after we cut 'Put It on Da Floor,' I just walked in the studio like, '"Sugar Honey Iced Tea" is the name of the album,'" she added. "People be trying to be messy and thinking it’s a response to something. I promise you, this is before any of that s---. This is something that just felt Southern to me. Where I’m from, we be like, 'I’m the sugar honey iced tea!'"
Latto's been on a bit of a run this year, kicking things off with her second album single, "Sunday Service," in February. In June, she performed at the 2024 BET Award s and snagged two nominations from the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards this month for her "Seven" collaboration with BTS ' Jung Kook .
Days after her album arrived, on Aug. 13, Latto dropped a bonus track titled " Chicken Grease ," a flip on T.I. 's 2003 hit "24's," which she previewed in her Sugar Honey Iced Tea trailer (which also starred the latter). The track is already a fan favorite that concert-goers hope to hear on Latto's tour this fall.

Jennifer lopez posts throwback solo shots from her birthday — on ben affleck’s birthday.
Jennifer Lopez made the strange decision to post throwback solo shots from her birthday in July — on Ben Affleck’s birthday Thursday.
The singer, 55, took to Instagram on the day the actor turned 52 to share three pictures from her own celebration last month.
For the photo shoot ahead of her birthday dinner at Nick & Toni’s restaurant in the Hamptons, Lopez rocked a sparkly — and completely see-through — Dior Haute Couture gown .
The songstress kept things modest with a nude bodysuit under the wrap-front dress, which was covered in shiny floral-shaped embellishments and tied together with a black ribbon belt.
She wore her hair slicked back in a tight ponytail to show off her dazzling diamond earrings, and she completed her look with a bedazzled silver purse and black peep-toe platform heels.
Lopez struck sultry poses while leaning on her gray vintage Mercedes-Benz convertible, captioning the upload, “Dior.”
The first snap of the carousel featured her chiseled profile, which was dusted with plenty of bronzer and rosy blush, as she flashed a grin while peeking over her shoulder.
For the second image, the Grammy nominee looked straight at the camera with a seductive stare.
And in the third slide, which was in black and white, Lopez was seen sitting on her car’s trunk with her legs crossed, once again sporting a sexy facial expression.
Affleck was noticeably absent from both her birthday dinner and her “Bridgerton”-themed party ; the pair spent their second wedding anniversary apart as well.
Speculation that the duo’s marriage is doomed began in early May after the director did not accompany his wife to the Met Gala .
He was also MIA from her press tour for the movie “Atlas,” during which she shut down a reporter who asked about breakup rumors .

Since then, they’ve been inconsistent about wearing their wedding rings , and the actress was caught “liking” an Instagram post about unhealthy relationships .
Though their marital residence in Beverly Hills remains on the market , Affleck has purchased a pad in Pacific Palisades as Lopez continues to house-hunt around Los Angeles .
The A-listers, who called off their engagement in 2004 before reconciling in 2021, tied the knot in Las Vegas in July 2022.
“They got caught up in the moment . Jennifer had wanted this wedding — the gowns, the friends, all the trappings and trimmings — for decades,” an insider told Page Six last week.
“They’ve turned the page on all the unfinished business of 20-plus years ago. They’ve seen things through to the end — and they know for sure now that they are not built for the long haul.”
The insider went on to call their impending split “the most elaborate and expensive exercise in closure ever.”
We’re told Lopez is “furious” and “humiliated” since Affleck “was the one who initiated getting back together” and that he’s holding off on filing for divorce to spare her more embarrassment.
A source previously shared with us that the Oscar winner would “divorce on grounds of temporary insanity” if he could because he finally came “to his senses” following what felt like a “fever dream.”
