Aloha Tiki Tours (Detroit River and Lake St. Clair)
Warren native Nick Blaszczyk (and his wife Jody), owners of Detroit Pedal Pub , runs Aloha Tiki Tours in Michigan.
You can cruise around Lake St. Clair and the Detroit River in the sunshine.
Essentially a tiki bar boat cruise , each motorized floating bar holds 6 people maximum and it’s BYOB .
They have several tiki boats.
The boats launch from Sinbad’s Marina (Detroit), Blossom Heath Marina (St. Clair Shores), and Waterfront Grille (Wyandotte).

Michigan’s first tiki bar boat tours to party on the Detroit River in 2019

You will soon be able to party on the Detroit River in an actual tiki bar.
The same people who brought you Detroit Pedal Pub and Detroit Cycle Boat are bringing you tiki bar boat tours. Nick and Jody Blaszcyk will launch Aloha Tiki Tours beginning on May 25 in both Detroit and St. Clair Shores. Nick says this will be the first tiki bar boat tours in the Midwest. “We wanted to bring something new. We came across this and think Michigan will love it. If you can’t go to the Caribbean or Hawaii, we plan to bring that to Michigan.”
Launching points : The boats will launch out of Sinbad’s Marina in Detroit and Blossom Heath Park in St. Clair Shores. The tours will last two hours and each one will have its own U.S. Coast Guard certified captain. Passengers won’t have to pedal or do any work. The tiki boats run on motors.
Pricing : The cost is $250 Monday - Thursday and $300 Friday - Sunday. Each boat holds up to six people and comes with a Bluetooth speaker, cooler and blender. “Tiki bars are so hot,” said Nick. “This is a more intimate feeling than our cycle boats. You can have as little as two people if you want. The boats will also be lit up at night."
Nick says the boats will stop about halfway through the tours for a bathroom break. Otherwise, they’ll be on the water the entire time. You can get more info on Aloha Tiki Tours here .
