There are ways to increase carry weight: Exoskeleton, Tourist suit (unique stalker suit) in SOC, some artifacts in CS and COP and then there are endurance artifacts that let you run longer even in 50-60kg range where you normaly cannot run so you don't carry more than 50kgs, with 5 moonlights you can run around with 59,9 while without them you would be almos immobile with this weight.

Radiation Suit all the way! All the swagger and protection of exoskeleton without any of those damn clunky hydraulics. I'm not a hoarder, I'm a Stalker. I hunt artifacts and mutants, get contracts to track down people and put them down, and make a living that way. I definitely don't need to haul 80 kg of gear for a merchant.
