Allow me to be the bearer of GREAT NEWS! Have you ever wanted to feel like you're in the scene of a Mafia movie? Well look no further, the pier they pick you up on will fit your " The GodFather" fantasies! Although this entire boat looked like it could've been built by Ed Edd n Eddy, I felt COMPLETELY SAFE & NOT SKETCHED OUT in the slightest! Finally, who is the announcer on the mic? The SMOOTHEST Italian NYer I've ever seen! 100/10 would recommend again (for the $30 price)

Theres gotta be better out there! We booked on a whim as we landed in New York with no research. Although we got out and back safely, I find it hard to believe all of this meets code! We purchased premium tickets (priority boarding and complimentary drink and cookie included). Priority boarding - they definitely let us board priority but they abruptly stopped the boarding line to allow us on and it seemed kind of rude as the others had no idea what was happening - complimentary drink was not really our choice... they gave us a choice of a canned rose or Pinot Grigio. No beer option which was a bummer Seating as you can see is .... Well... folding chairs. I'm sure you can find a better tour and have better sound from the tour guide. We could barely understand anything he was saying.

Seating

We did this boat cruise to see the statue of liberty as a super spur of the moment decision. the hotel we were staying at included tickets for this for free under our destination fee, so we decided to book it. Keep in mind it was in December, but not too cold, but overall we had a good time. I will agree that the boat is way too crowded for the number of people on it. We all stood in the back the whole time near the bathroom and couldn't hear anything the person was saying on the speakers. It was a bit chilly but we were determined. We got a great view of the statue of liberty. The whole cruise was only an hour, so I can't really say much more than that. I would not have paid a ton for this experience, especially since we were not allowed to sit on the top deck (you have to pay extra for this).

This cruise was advertised as one of the best 4.5stars (they must write their own reviews) 75min long with an audio guide on each of the places you pass. We get there 30minutes beforehand and the line was already 200 metres long, so we stood there waiting on the pier that smelt like a sewer! It was sooo bad Then we were herded on to this old ferry that had definitely seen better days. The boat was packed. You were then offered an "upgrade" for another $20 per head, to sit on the top deck in the full sun, while some old guy yelled out with no microphone about the history of the various landmarks (we passed on the "upgrade"). We bought a few overpriced warm drinks while we stood along the side walkway of the boat the whole time. There was no audio guide or even music coming out of the various speakers around the boat. Then the skipper had about four attempts to dock the boat at the end and still managed to do the whole thing in under an hour! It was a complete joke! A RIP OFF!

Fun time and the history tour was really great. They were super funny too and the whole crew was very accommodating. The boat may not have been all fancy like the other ones but it made a greater experience. Highly recommend!

This was definitely a spur of the moment kind of thing lol. My husband and I were walking in the city, as I take walks after work everyday. We saw there was a special for this statue of Liberty cruise that also passes Ellis Island and Governors island . I said why not being I haven't visited these places in over 20 years. The tickets were $60 for 2 people. My husband and I got priority entrance (thanks Kim) , so we were the first to get on. It's a double decker boat and we got great seats at the top . It was packed by the time of sail off. On the boat you could purchase cocktails and light meals . The host with the most Brian was also a GEM and great at what he does , we learned a lot of history from him while enjoying the views and mingling with others from all parts of the world (lots of tourist). Just a great experience for us overall. When it gets warmer I'm definitely returning with my husband and our son.

Terrible terrible experience. Too crowded and too hot! It was a struggle to squeeze myself outside for a view of the Statue of Liberty. I recommend you try a different company.

I unfortunately chose to take the "foliage cruise" yesterday, because it was peak season, nice weather, and this company was the only one with tickets left... now I know why. The term "foliage cruise" is false advertising. Here's why: - I arrived 10 minutes early, there was already a line of 100 people. - Only VIP ticket holders got to sit on the top deck of the boat. - There is absolutely not enough space for everyone on board the boat. If you arrived on time, it was standing room only. The top deck was completely full and there were still 300+ people on the pier that they jammed onto the boat. - The captain blasted the horn without giving us warning. Glad we didn't get tinnitus. - Didn't even go upstate. Got to the southern border of The Bronx and immediately turned around. It's not a foliage cruise if we didn't even get far north enough to see foliage. - Guy "cleaned" the bathroom and took a photo of his progress right before I went inside. Got inside and there was no toilet paper left, which means replacing the toilet paper was not part of his cleaning process. - Lines for bathroom and bar are 20-40 minutes. Pro tip: sneak in your own wine and food - Did a hard U-turn just as we arrived upstate to the good foliage, but spent 30 minutes at the Statue of Liberty for no reason. - We returned 30 minutes early, but we were happy to, because it was so cold out. - I wish we utilized our time better to spend more time with the foliage upstate. - Also, due to the pier location in Two Bridges, we spent too much time getting out of the city as opposed to if we had left from the Circle Line dock on 42nd Street. The only positive part were the fun facts given by the guide. I didn't feel it was overkill, as mentioned in some of the other reviews. Also, I learned a few new things. But it wasn't enough to save the experience. Never again.

Friends decided to book this experience. It was okay. The person talking on the microphone was muffled. The snacks of course were higher priced than normal. A regular bag of Doritos was $5. But it was a good touristy experience. The views were worth the wait in line. Oh! And the bathroom was super clean.
