Artist Info

Dayseeker is a 4-piece Rock/Metal band from Southern California formed in 2012. They are signed with Spinefarm Records, a subsidiary of Universal Music Group. On December 15, 2016, the band announced their departure from InVogue Records and that they had signed with Spinefarm Records. Shortly after, they announced a US tour with headliner Silent Planet, along with Ghost Key and Hail the Sun, which began in February 2017. A year after the release of  Origin , Dayseeker announced a new full-length album set to release in 2017. The album,  Dreaming Is Sinking / Waking Is Rising , was released by Spinefarm on July 14, 2017. 

Since the release of Dreaming Is Sinking / Waking Is Rising the band has been touring relentlessly countrywide and building a strong profile. The record sold just shy of 2,000 copies in their first week, earning them some impressive debut charting positions amongst hard rock and new artists. In Summer 2017, they embarked on a tour with The Color Morale and The Plot In You. Followed by that tour, they supported a tour with Oceans Ate Alaska and with Ice Nine Kills to close out their year. 

Spinefarm will be releasing a deluxe version of Dreaming Is Sinking / Waking Is Rising in 2018 featuring some stripped down versions of a few tracks and an additional cover track. Catch Dayseeker this summer performing on the Mutant stage on the Vans Warped Tour.

The 27-date stretch will include support from Polaris, Rain City Drive, Ayron Jones and AVOID.

Surging Southern California post-hardcore crew Dayseeker have confirmed touring plans for 2024 with the news of their pending Dark Sun Worldwide tour set for the spring of net year. The band will headline the trek across the U.S. with a 27-date jaunt that will also include a stop in Las Vegas to join the festivities for the second edition of the massive, Sick New World. 

Dayseeker will be touring in support of their late 2022 LP, Dark Sun , which has propelled the band to new heights combined with a relentless touring slate on the strength of the Spinefarm Records release. Joining the band on arguably their most ambitious headlining tour to date is a staggering showcase of still emerging talent with names like Polaris, Rain City Drive, Ayron Jones and AVOID on as support.

DAYSEEKER ANNOUNCE FALL 2024 HEADLINE TOUR

“DAYSEEKER: DARK SUN PROTOCOL TOUR” KICKS OFF SEPTEMBER 27 IN DALLAS + RUNS THROUGH NOVEMBER IN LOS ANGELES

  REPLICA  ACOUSTIC ALBUM ARRIVES PHYSICALLY ON JUNE 14

Southern California’s  DAYSEEKER  —  Rory Rodriguez  [vocals],  Gino Sgambelluri  [guitar],  Ramone Valerio  [bass], and  Zac Mayfield  [drums] — just wrapped an incredibly successful, sold-out headline tour of the U.S. last week, which included appearances at several festivals.

Dayseeker will return to the road for a new headline trek this fall and it’s big deal for both the band and fans. They will play the biggest venues of their career so far, while also hitting cities they’ve not performed in recently!

The “ DAYSEEKER: DARK SUN PROTOCOL ” tour will kick off September 27 in Dallas and run through November 2 in Los Angeles.

Alpha Wolf ,  Catch Your Breath , and  Kingdom of Giants  will also appear.

The stripped down, intimate renditions of familiar fan favorites highlight the band’s songcraft and allow the listener to experience Dayseeker in an entirely new way. The collection also includes appearances from Holding Absence’s Lucas Woodland and indie artist Amber DeLaRosa.

Replica  is the somewhat unexpected (yet welcomed) result of a specific gig in 2022, when the band’s gear overheated at Blue Ridge Rock Festival. Thinking on his feet, Rodriguez grabbed an acoustic guitar from the van, plugged in, and performed “Without Me.” Soon, he had pulled together a five-song set on the fly as thousands of fans flocked to the stage.   “I felt like we let people down, but I had so many friends say, ‘ Everyone will remember the day your equipment stopped working and you still played the set as a really special moment’,'”  he recalls. “It felt natural for our songs. We usually will do extra tracks for a Deluxe version or re-release, but we decided to commit to an entire acoustic album this time.”

ABOUT DAYSEEKER: Dayseeker are a quiet killer. The band has steadily built a buzz over the past several years — and they have reached a tipping point. Dayseeker have become a scene standout with 2019’s Sleeptalk, which was hailed by Alternative Press as  “a warm and welcome release to higher ground” and as “much needed fresh air into the post-hardcore scene.

The album has gone on to accumulate over 125 million streams, and it positioned the band as a formidable force — and one that is primed to take its next big leap. In 2021, the band dropped a deluxe version of  Sleeptalk , featuring four reimagined versions of album tracks, which offered fans a fresh and unique take on songs they already love. In 2024 The Earth Will Turn , with American genre-trailblazers  DAYSEEKER   today announcing their triumphant return down under next July, joined by special guests LANDON TEWERS and INERTIA . Marking their debut headline Australian tour following the band's first visit in 2022 supporting Thornhill and again this year supporting Beartooth and Pierce The Veil, DAYSEEKER are primed to bring their hypnotic hard rock and metallic catharsis to vivid life across Australia and also over to New Zealand in 2024. Hailing from Southern California, DAYSEEKER   irresistibly fuse immersive soundscapes with glistening post-pop, experimental indie, alternative R&B and beyond into their magnetic sonic creations, with their invigorating take on modern rock'n'roll snagging the quartet hundreds of millions of streams, sold out shows and a series of acclaimed releases since forming in 2012. Recently unveiling their fifth studio album, 2022's Dark Sun , DAYSEEKER journeys through searingly intimate themes and an abundance of stylistic fluctuations, building upon their previous full-lengths What It Means To Be Defeated  (2013), Origin (2015) , Dreaming Is Sinking // Waking Is Rising  (2017) and their 2019 opus Sleeptalk . Alongside his tenure as lead vocalist for American rockers The Plot In You, versatile musician and producer LANDON TEWERS  has gifted fans multiple solo albums over the years, including 2016's Dynamite and 2019's Withdrawls . Embracing intimacy alongside pop subtleties and heavier nods , TEWERS ' solo work previously saw him tour down under in 2022 with Ghost Atlas, aka Jesse of ERRA. Flourishing on a foundation of soulful dark pop and explosive, driving riffs, Sydney's INERTIA bring a refreshing blend of pop sensibilities and hard-hitting intensity.
