Description

Explore the highlights of Jordan on this 4-day trip. Travel across the country with stops at iconic locations such as Mount Nebo, Madaba Church, swim in the Dead Sea and marvel at the beautiful architecture of Petra. Also, explore the Crusader Castle in Kerak, spend a night at Wadi Rum, taste traditional Bedouin food and enjoy the most spectacular desert scenery on this 3-day tour!

Day 1: Amman Airport - Petra

  • Our representative will meet you upon arrival at Amman Airport and assist with your visa to Jordan.
  • After meet & greet, continue to Petra for dinner and overnight at a 3-Star hotel.
  • The afternoon flight arriving in Amman, Jordan, is recommended.
  • Please consider that we drive you straight to Petra in about 2.5 hours.

Day 2: Petra - Wadi Rum

  • After early breakfast at the hotel, begin the day in the Rose City of Petra. Petra is a UNESCO world heritage site and was recently voted one of the New 7-Wonders of the World. It is the legacy of the Nabataean's, an industrious Arab people who settled in southern Jordan more than 2000 years ago. We will arrange your entrance fees and hire a private English speaking site guide to explore the main attractions of the lower part of the city for 2.5 to 3 hours.
  • You and the guide will start from the main gate and visit all the way through the Siq to visit the Treasury, Street of Facades, the Theatre, down to the Nymphaeum and Qasr El- Bent.
  • You then have some free hours on your own to explore further places such as the Monastery.
  • After that, return to the main gate and continue to Wadi Rum to explore its vastness during one of the best rides of your life - on a 3-hour sunset 4x4 safari and experience the magic of the desert, the dunes and some of the ancient inscriptions, rocky formations and natural bridges.
  • Continue to the camp for an amazing Bedouin dinner and camping.

Day 3: Wadi Rum - Kerak - Mt. Nebo - Madaba - Dead Sea

  • Have breakfast at the camp, meet our driver and continue to Kerak to visit the 12-century Crusader Castle built over the remains of earlier citadels, some which date back to Nabataean times. The castle is more imposing than beautiful, although it is an impressive example of the Crusaders' architectural military genius.
  • Wander through underground corridors with huge kitchens, stables and sleeping quarters with several floors. The top of the castle offers magnificent views in all directions.
  • Continue to Mount Nebo to retrace the steps of Moses and admire the spectacular view of the Promised Land just as he did over 2,000 years before. It is very easy to feel that you have arrived at some place special. On a clear day, Jerusalem, Jericho and the Dead Sea can be seen. A memorial in Moses’s honour can be found at the early Byzantine Christian church entrance where Moses is believed to have died.
  • The next stop is Madaba  - the “City of Mosaics”. View the oldest preserved mosaic map of the Holy Land dating back to the 6th century BC located within the Church of St. George.
  • After, we end the day at the Dead Sea- the world's largest natural spa and one of the unique spots on earth. The water and mud of the Dead Sea have been recognized for their healing properties since Biblical times.
  • Experience the strange sensation of floating effortlessly - its mystical waters contain so much salt and minerals, it is impossible to sink! A truly unique experience for both body and soul.
  • Dinner and overnight, at 3-Star Hotel.

Day 4: Dead Sea - Amman Airport

  • Breakfast at the resort, then according to your flight details, we will transfer you to Amman Airport for departure.

PGA Tour fixes scorecard disqualification rule that burned Jordan Spieth at the Genesis Invitational

Golfers now have a 15-minute window to fix an incorrect scorecard after turning it in, even if they leave the scoring area.

Jordan Spieth will be the last golfer to fall victim to an old scorecard rule on the PGA Tour.

The Tour officially announced Tuesday ahead of the Travelers Championship that players will now have a 15-minute window to correct an error on their scorecard after a round, even if they have left the defined scoring area. Previously, such a mistake led to an automatic disqualification.

The change will start immediately on the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour and all other major golf leagues.

A new amendment will allow PGA TOUR players a 15-minute window to correct an error on their scorecard, even if they have left the defined scoring area. — PGA TOUR (@PGATOUR) June 18, 2024

While he isn’t the only one who has made the mistake, Spieth was the most recent player disqualified for signing an incorrect scorecard. He was disqualified after the second round of the Genesis Invitational in February in Los Angeles after his card said he made a par on a hole he actually bogeyed. While Spieth’s bogey was noted in real time on the leaderboard and the broadcast — he clearly wasn't trying to cheat — Spieth left the scoring area at Riviera Country Club with the mistake still on the card he turned in to officials. It was revealed later that he allegedly left the scoring area so quickly because he had to run to the bathroom.

He was automatically disqualified on the spot .

"Rules are rules, and I take full responsibility," Spieth wrote on social media at the time, in part. "I love this tournament and golf course as much as any on the PGA Tour, so it hurts to not have a run at the weekend."

Spieth has won 13 times on the PGA Tour in his career, most recently at the RBC Heritage in 2022. He has three top-10 finishes on Tour this season, and he finished T41 at the U.S. Open last week at Pinehurst. Spieth is in the field this week at TPC River Highlands, where he’ll play in the last signature event on Tour before the British Open next month at Royal Troon.

If he makes the same mistake this week that he did back in February, Spieth will now have time to avoid a disqualification.
