Hailed as “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up,” by The Atlantic Magazine, Nate Bargatze is a Grammy nominated stand-up comedian from Nashville, TN.

Widely known for his clean and relatable comedy for all age groups and for his Netflix specials “The Tennessee Kid”, “Greatest Average American” and “The Stand-ups”, his latest special “Hello, World” can be found on Amazon Prime Video. Currently touring and selling out shows all over the world with his new “The Be Funny” Tour, Nate is also an avid golfer and sports enthusiast – always supporting his local Vanderbilt Commodores.

January 23, 2024  – Comedian Nate Bargatze has announced even more shows to extend THE BE FUNNY TOUR into the summer of 2024. Nate Bargatze will perform at KeyBank Center on Sunday, June 16, 2024.

Hailed as “The Nicest Man in Stand-Up,” by  The Atlantic Magazine  and a “Rising Star,” by  CBS Morning , 2021 Grammy nominated comedian, podcaster, director and producer Nate Bargatze is selling out shows around the world.

On April 15th 2023, Bargatze broke the attendance record at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville with 19,365 tickets sold. This month, he also broke the record for tickets sold at The Delta Center in Salt Lake City with 32,638 fans attending – the highest amount ever sold by a comedian at the venue.

He was also recently signed to Universal Music Group Nashville as their flagship comedian under their new Capitol Comedy label.

Bargatze was featured as one of Esquire's “Best New Comedians” by Jim Gaffigan, one of Marc Maron's “Comedians to Watch” in Rolling Stone, one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” for 2015, and as #1 on Vulture's ‘50 Comedians You Should Know’ in 2015. He also appeared on the cover of Variety’s annual comedy issue in 2022.

 CLEAR BAG POLICY 

Only clear, uncolored plastic bags will be permitted into the facility; or guests may carry one opaque clutch-sized purse or wallet, not exceeding 4.5 inches tall by 6.5 inches long. Exceptions will be made for bags with medical necessity after appropriate inspection. Bags that do not meet these guidelines must be returned to a vehicle or discarded. CHI Health Center staff members are not permitted to hold or store bags on the premises.

PROHIBITED ITEMS

Any type of weapon, real or fake, or any item resembling a weapon is strictly banned from the MECA campus. These restrictions also apply to individuals lawfully permitted to carry concealed weapons. Weapons may not be held or checked by CHI Health Center staff. Other prohibited items include cameras with detachable lenses measuring 3.5 inches or larger (subject to change at tour discretion) and outside food or beverage. An Old Hickory, Tennessee native, Bargatze followed in the showbiz footsteps of his father, a former clown turned world class magician, whose influence is seen on his 2015 debut Comedy Central special,  Full Time Magic  and his debut album,  Yelled at By a Clown , which reached #1 on the iTunes Comedy Charts and remained on Billboard’s Top Ten Comedy Charts for weeks.

Bargatze’s half-hour Netflix Special  The Standups,  premiered in 2017 and his first solo one-hour Netflix special,  The Tennessee Kid,  premiered globally with rave reviews in 2019. In 2021, he released his critically acclaimed second Netflix special,  The Greatest Average American , which received a Grammy nomination for Best Comedy Album. On January 31 st , Nate released his latest and third one-hour special,  Nate Bargatze: Hello World , on Amazon Prime which now holds the record as Amazon’s most-streamed original comedy special in its first 28 days of viewership.

On April 15 th  2023, Bargatze broke the attendance record at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville with 19,365 tickets sold. This month, he also broke the record for tickets sold at The Delta Center in Salt Lake City with 32,638 fans attending – the highest amount ever sold by a comedian at the venue.

He was also recently signed to Universal Music Group Nashville as their flagship comedian under their new Capitol Comedy label.

Bargatze was featured as one of Esquire’s “Best New Comedians” by Jim Gaffigan, one of Marc Maron’s “Comedians to Watch” in Rolling Stone, one of Variety’s “10 Comics to Watch” for 2015, and as #1 on Vulture’s ‘50 Comedians You Should Know’ in 2015. He also appeared on the cover of Variety’s annual comedy issue in 2022.

Welcome to Illuminarium

Illuminarium, a new 32,000-square-foot immersive venue offering virtual reality without a headset, opens this weekend in the former Crystal Gardens space at Navy Pier, 600 E. Grand Ave., Chicago. Visitors can choose from two options — WILD: A Safari Experience and SPACE: A Journey to the Moon and Beyond. CCMA showcases local artist

The Cleve Carney Museum of Art at the College of DuPage, 425 Fawell Blvd., Glen Ellyn, presents “Grid Luck,” an exhibition showcasing works by Chicago artist Alberto Aguilar, who uses tools, furniture and existing items to create site-specific installations. Happy Olmec Trails

The Mexican Cultural Center DuPage, in cooperation with Meztli Mexico, the College of DuPage Public Art Project and the DuPage Convention & Visitors Bureau, presents “Olmec Trails: Culture and Legacy,” a new outdoor exhibition showcasing the culture of the ancient Olmecs, the earliest known major Mesoamerican civilization. The exhibition consists of contemporary Mexican artists’ re-creations of the hand-painted renditions of colossal stone heads originally created around Veracruz, Mexico, between 1400 B.C. and 400 BCE. Country superstar Jon Pardi fills out 2024 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand lineup

And then, there were none. 

The final open spot in the 2024 Minnesota State Fair Grandstand lineup has been filled. Country superstar Jon Pardi will play the fairground's main stage on Wednesday, Aug. 28. Special guest MacKenzie Porter will handle warmup duties. 

Tickets range from $44 to $88. They go on sale at 10 a.m. this Friday, June 28, via etix or by calling 800-514-3849. The State Fair Box Office will NOT be open for in-person sales. 

Pardi is a ACM and CMA award-winning artist who is known for his unusual blend of traditional country instruments and modern pop, hip-hop and EDM grooves. He was inducted into the Grand Old Opry in 2023, and recently released a new single with Luke Bryan titled "Cowboys and Plowboys," hoping it becomes his seventh No. 1 chart-topper.
