The Southern Forest Wine region is recognised as one of the best cool climate wine regions in the nation - with many wines recognised around the world. Manjimup and Pemberton Wine regions are discussed on this half day tour.

This tour includes:

A selection of 2 to 4 wineries and cideries and 2 to 3 experiences that will give you the best tour route - and meet the nicest people on the planet. You wont want to drive!

We start the day by collecting you from your door.

Local Pemberton produce is provided during your day.

Your guided adventure travels through Pemberton’s forests and countryside, past vistas of the vibrant avocado, olive, marron, fingerlime, Truffle, vine and strawberry plantations which dot the landscape.

Your personal guide will ensure you have a day to remember so when you return home and uncork that wonderful wine the memories of this region will come flooding back.

Pemberton Progressive Lunch

The Progressive lunch, for groups of 6 or more, was created when one of Toni's sisters came to visit - and we decided the best way to experience the region was to cram in as many wineries and foodies delights as possible!

Pickup from your chalet door between 11 and 11.30am before heading out to the first of 3 (or 4) wineries, all with something to try. You should be home by 5.30pm with an earlier drop off available if required. 

Roadside stalls and farms are included depending on the season to add to your gourmet delights and take home produce.

Pemberley Wine Experience

The Radomiljac family are currently limited in their availability to host Pemberley Wine Experience sessions. As such, wine club members and those wishing to stock their cellar are invited to enquire. 

Wine lovers are invited to arrange a Pemberley Wine Experience in order to purchase their favourite wines direct from our cellar door overlooking the vineyard and the Koi pond.

Groups numbering between 4 to 16 who are interested in purchasing our wines directly from us can book in to see what Pemberley has to offer - with a Pemberley Wine Experience.

This includes an individualised wine tasting to help you choose the perfect collection to take home. Accompanied by complementary local seasonal produce offerings and the opportunity to hear the history of the farm and to meet the family, you will relive Pemberley with every bottle you open.  You can also choose to go for a guided stroll around the vineyard and veggie patch (weather permitting).

You can take your Pemberley wines with you or we can arrange delivery direct to your door!

The  Pemberley Wine Experience  begins at 3pm and takes approximately 90 minutes.

A ticket to the Pemberley Wine Experience  can be purchased via our online store AFTER a date has been negotiated.

Standard Ticket (aged 18+): $30.00

Non drinker (18+): $10.00

Child (aged 6 to 17): $10.00

Child (aged under 5): Free

Please note: wine selection and complementary seasonal offerings are subject to change due to availability. Sadly we are unable to offer alternatives to meet dietary requirements such as gluten free or vegan.

We prefer to host guests at 3pm as we are able to complete farm work prior to bookings. You're welcome to request a different time if necessary, but be aware that we may not be able to accommodate you at your requested time.

Wine Experiences can be booked any day of the week, with enough notice. 

Bookings must be made at least 24 hours in advance to ensure we have available family members. We will respond to you as soon as possible to confirm your booking. 

It takes us time to prepare for bookings, so please aim to give us ample notice if you need to cancel. 

Due to our Labrador Retriever breeding program, we request that you please leave your pets at home.

Cancellation Policy

After a ticket has been purchased via our webstore , we will happily completely refund you if you must cancel. 

Sadly, refunds can not be offered if you cancel on the same day as your booking. 

Are you interested in experiencing more than just Pemberley wines?

Consider booking in for a Pemberton Wine Discovery Tour  or a Pemberton Progressive Lunch to see more of what the Pemberton Wine Region has to offer. You'll be picked up from your accommodation and taken to 3-4 different wineries, cideries or brewery to really get a taste of the local area. Toni and Graeme provide an excellent service for groups ranging from 2 to 19 people.

I was recently in Pemberton for the weekend and decided to stop by Pemberton Distillery for a quick tasting. Before going, make sure you check their hours on their website. At the end of October when I went, they're only open Friday and Saturday afternoons. Our experience there was super chill. We rang the door and someone let us in. I forgot his name, but he was one of the brothers behind the operation. He then introduced us to their liquors and we picked which ones we wanted to try. We tried a variety of liquors, including their vodka, ginger and honey, coffee, scotch, apple brandy, and kartoffelschnaps. Our favorite was the vodka, as it's one of the smoothest vodka's I've ever tried. The coffee liquor was also very good if you're a coffee drinker, but I personally am not a huge fan of the coffee taste. We bought a bottle of the vodka, scotch, and ginger and honey liquor away with us. Prices were reasonable. For example, a 750 ml bottle of vodka was $35. You can also take a couple steps into their distillery space. We went in to take a look and also was given a high level introduction to their distilling process.

Absolutely love this distillery and I rarely drink alcohol. In fact, the last time I had vodka was here over 5 years ago! So if a person who doesn't even like alcohol tells you this is excellent vodka, it probably is. This isn't a mixing vodka or a chugging vodka or a shot vodka. This is a classy sipping vodka. What the Butterball hell is a sipping vodka? Come here and try it or go buy one at a BC Liquor store and then you'll know. It's unlike the other brands you're more familiar with. This stuff doesn't burn and make you want to cry. Yes you'll feel the slight edge but it's really smooth stuff. I've gifted a few to clients over the years. I brought my partner here a few weeks ago because I wanted her to give it a go and also to see the copper toys. She loved it as well. We also bought some amazing elderflower liqueur​ which was amazing. It's a small place so don't expect it to be gigantic like other breweries you might have visited. They also don't have a huge selection which is ok because quality over quantity is what it's all about. One thing though is that I personally dislike the vodka logo. All their other stuff is super rad like their gin and liqueur bottles so why did they make that one so different? I'd love to see something similar to their other labels so it looks like a part of the family.

Who knew that the best sipping vodka in the world hails from Pemberton BC! But don't just take my word for it. They've got the international awards to prove it. 2010 Double Gold and Spirit of the Year in the recent World Spirit Awards. The distillery tour is well worth the $6 as you get a personal view of where all the potato magic happens. Tyler and Lorien are gracious hosts and are full of boozy knowledge. Oh, and of course there's a healthy sized tasting post-tour at the bar with your very own Schramm's glass. The word on the Pemberton street is that Tyler is concocting a small batch of Organic Single Malt Whisky this summer. But unfortunately, we will have to wait a few more years to sample this barrel of local gold. Damn you Oak Casks!

My partner and I to pop in on our way back from Joffre's lake. I had called the day before as I was confused about the scheduled tours and left a voicemail but at no point that day or the next did they return my call. We stopped off just after 4pm so missed the tour but found it quite tiny, no one greeted us on arrival and there was no tasting menu available unless you paid $16 for the tour that didn't look like it was happening. The place seemed more for Pemberton locals. On the up side Joffre's Lake was completely free and fantastic! Very disappointed!

Very excited to find a distillery close to whistler - we took a quick dive north and were very happy with the distillery and their products. My wife picked up a hemp vodka and I got a gin and absinth. Knowledgeable / informative staff and really good booze

We were in this distillery on Christmas Eve, what a cozy way to spend our time. The young man behind the counter was very informative and generous with his time. We tasted some vodka, gin and hemp vodka too. Smooooth! Had to bring some home, cuz they unfortunately do not ship internationally. If you need info look at their Facebook page, it's more timely then their website.

On a hiking trip to Pemberton decided to try this place out as had tasted their delicious schnapps at Whistler's Farmer's market. The owner is very friendly and knowledgeable and was pouring the tastings himself. I also noticed all the awards that they've won by the plaques around the distillery. I have to say they make the best tasting Schnapps outside of the black forest!

Schramm Distillery is worth a trip to Pemberton on its own. Although we came for the mountain biking, I am ecstatic that we sought out Tyler (owner) and Schramm. He is passionate about making beautiful spirits, and is doing an amazing job.

Yum!. The owner, who was there pouring samples, was very knowledgeable, though quiet. We were bummed not to be able to try the plum liqueur, as it was sold out. We took home a bottle of vanilla extract and bitters.

The Pemberton Distillery is located right in the heart of the breathtaking Coast Mountains within easy reach of Vancouver and Whistler. The Pemberton Distillery is open all year round offering Guided Tour that take you behind the scenes at the distillery and offer a fascinating insight into the handcrafted production of artisan spirits.

What is Distilling?

You may ask... Good question! Distillation is the age-old science and art of separating mixtures using boiling liquid.

Distillation of the vodka at Pemberton Distillery is done using organic fermented potatoes to create their unique and world-renowned Schramm Potato Vodka.

Handcrafted from the Pemberton Valley's renowned organic potatoes and pure mountain water, Schramm Vodka, Gin and Whiskey are regarded as genuine sipping spirits - distinctly regional, incredibly smooth & wonderfully flavourful. How do they make it so good? The Beer Farmers - Pemberton Valley Beerworks

The Beer Farmers Brewery is the only brewery in British Columbia to produce a beer using all major ingredients grown on site! The brewery is owned and operated by a fourth generation farming family the Miller's who have been living on and farming the land since 1911. While every beer is high quality at this facility the Farmer's Daughter Ale is quickly becoming a Valley favourite.

A Family Business

The family operation includes head brewer Brenda Miller, head farmer Bruce Miller and head of sales and operations Will Miller. There are also three more Miller boys who are involved in the day to day operations of the farm brewery.

Brewery Tastings

The Beer Farmers tasting room is open year round with limited operational days through the winter season. Follow their Facebook page for up to date operational hours.

Pemberton Brewing Company

There is no better place to enjoy a delicious brew and embrace the laid back locals scene than the Pemberton Brewing tasting room. The brewery offers a number of popular ales, lagers and their very popular Longroad IPA which uses local hops conveniently grown right across the street at the Pemberton Hops yard.

Pemberton is a lovely little village just north of Whistler, and it’s definitely worth a visit.

Whether you’re taking a day trip from Whistler or staying right in Pemberton, there are plenty of fun things to do in the area.

Here are the best things to do in Pemberton and the surrounding areas!

Best things to do in Pemberton

• Horseback riding with Copper Cayuse Outfitters

If you haven’t gone horseback riding before, you should definitely add it to your bucket list.

With its lush forests and mountainous views, Pemberton is the perfect spot to go horseback riding.

Copper Cayuse Outfitters offers horseback riding tours by the hours or even days, and it’s such an incredible experience.

We befriended our horse pals before riding on them, and it was really cool to see each horse having their own unique personalities!

My horse, Whisky, was very feisty and would not stop eating the grass 😛

We did the 1-hour horseback riding tour , and we got to ride through forests, up steep hills, and even into a flowing river.

You can only go into the river during the early summer season, since the water levels rise as the temperatures warm up.

It’s definitely a really cool experience, and makes for a great photo opp!

If you’re looking to do a full-out adventure with your horse friend, you can do a full-day horseback riding tour .

The full-day tour runs from 9 AM to 6 PM, and you’ll get to explore scenic mountain trails and lush forests.

LOCATION: 7830 Pemberton Meadows Rd, Pemberton, BC

• Coffee at Mount Currie Coffee Company

Mount Currie Coffee Company is a cozy café serving up sustainably-sourced coffees and freshly-baked pastries.

We loved their flaky Breakfast Croissant and Ham & Cheese Croissant, and our Cappuccino and Latte were both really good as well.

I picked out my croissant without looking at the name, and was pleasantly surprised by the ham stuffed inside the croissant!

They actually have a second location in Whistler Village as well.

LOCATION: 7331 Arbutus St #2, Pemberton, BC

• Dine at Mile One Eating House

Mile One is definitely the best spot to eat in Pemberton, and it was recommended to us by our RZR tour guide from The Adventure Group.

They serve up delicious burgers and sandwiches, many of them with fusion flavours.

Their burger patties are made using local grass-finished beef from the Mile One owners’ own ranch, Hanceville Cattle Company!

If you’re looking to shop local goods, they have tons of pantry food available for purchase.

LOCATION: 7330 Arbutus St Unit #7, Pemberton, BC

• Stop by the North Arm Farm

The North Arm Farm is a lovely family farm located right off the Sea to Sky Highway.

You can purchase sandwiches or coffees from the farm kitchen, then enjoy them with gorgeous mountainous views right on the farm.

Don’t forget to snap a photo on the swings with the pretty mountain backdrop!

They offer all kinds of local produce, preserves, and even pretty dried floral bouquets that you can shop in-store.

They also offer seasonal fruit picking from June through October, including strawberries, blueberries, and pumpkins!

You can bring your own containers or buy buckets in-store to pick your own fruits.

LOCATION: Sea to Sky Highway, 1888 BC-99, Pemberton, BC

• Visit the Pemberton Distillery

Did you know that Pemberton is actually known for their potatoes?

The Pemberton Distillery distills these famous potatoes into the world’s only organic potato spirits, including vodka, gin, and liqueurs!

They also turn locally-grown grains and fruits into whisky and brandy.

All of their spirits are made farm-to-bottle using organic ingredients with no artificial additives, colouring, or GMO products, and everything is made in small batches using traditional hand-operated copper pot stills.

This family-owned and operated distillery is a BC Certified Craft Distillery, which means they only use 100% British Columbia-grown raw materials, and they’re also 100% certified organic.

You can visit their tasting room Thursdays through Sundays from 1 to 6 PM, or just shop from their selection of spirits to take home with you!

• Hike at Nairn Falls Provincial Park

Nairn Falls is a lovely and moderate hike in Pemberton, located on the Green River.

It’s a little scary hiking along the cliffside by the river, so ya just gotta watch your step and always pay attention.

Once you reach the end of the trail, you’re treated to gorgeous views of Nairn Falls.

The entire viewpoint at the end of the hike is fenced off, so it’s very safe!

I didn’t record the exact time, but I believe the hike took us around 45 minutes roundtrip.

• Hike at Joffre Lakes Provincial Park

If you think you’ve got the chops for it, take the challenge of hiking to all three lakes at Joffre Lakes Provincial Park.

Adam and I actually did it during a winter weekend in Whistler , and it was an absolute nightmare being completely unprepared and hiking through deep snow.

He convinced me to do it again during summer, and unfortunately there was still snow on the trail in mid-June.

Crampons are highly recommended (and extremely useful) for hiking in the snow.

Anyway, if you visit from July through September, I’m sure there won’t be any snow!

You’ll have to reserve free day-use passes ahead of time in order to park at Joffre Lakes.

The first lake is very close to the trailhead, and it’s a nice treat for the long road ahead.

When we hiked during the winter, the entire lake was frozen in ice, so we were able to walk right across it and save some time 😛

Pretty much the entire Joffre Lakes hike is an uphill struggle, but having the right hiking gear makes a huge difference.

A good hiking backpack with proper support, comfy hiking clothes, and an efficient pair of hiking shoes or boots is the bulk of it.

Hiking poles would be very useful, and we’ll definitely be investing in those next.

Going downhill is very strenuous on your knees, and hiking poles really helps to ease the impact.

You’ll also need to pack at least two water bottles per person – we packed three each, and went through about 1.5 each.

We passed by tons of hikers who were totally unprepared, some carrying no bags at all (AKA no water) and some wearing slippers with no traction.

Second lake

The second lake is quite a ways from the first, but it is gorgeous and totally worth the trek.

There was a log on the lake that people were standing on to take photos, but we didn’t have time to wait for our turn!

The third lake is pretty close to the second lake, and you’ll encounter a beautiful waterfall on the way there.

We didn’t spend much time at the third lake as we didn’t want to be the last ones on the trail.

It was mostly covered in snow and ice, since it is higher up in elevation than the other two lakes.

We started heading back down the trail around 3 PM, and it was really nice not passing many people, as we were one of the last dozen groups hiking the trail.

It was quite tough passing people heading down as we were going up on the narrow trails, especially since many of them weren’t wearing proper footwear or clothing.

Since there was still quite a bit of snow on the trail, we did what we did last time on the way down: we slid!

At some points, it’s much easier and safer to slide down on your feet or butt, rather than trying to walk down.

Overall, the whole hike took us around 4 hours roundtrip!

No matter whether you rode years ago, or this is your first time in the saddle, you will enjoy horseback riding through the wilds of British Columbia.  Under the guidance of a friendly and knowledgeable guide, you will climb steep, well maintained mountain trails to scenic viewpoints.  You’ll marvel at the agility and serenity of your sure-footed mountain horse as it lopes along a beautiful woodland trail and steps quietly through the mystical ‘Enchanted Forest’. At 9am, at the base ranch in Pemberton, a short drive from Whistler, you’ll meet your horse and wrangler and be transported 20 minutes down the road to the 10,000-acre mountain tenure in the Birkenhead Lake National Park. Riding starts at the or base camp or trail heads.  On full day rides you’ll return to the base by 5:00pm and on half day rides by 2:00pm. This guided horseback riding adventure is suitable for novices and experienced riders alike.

• A friendly horse.
• Professional guide.
• All necessary equipment including helmet.
• Full day tour includes a saddlebag lunch, and a snack for your horse.

When:  Available May - October with tours daily

• Maximum rider weight permitted is 275lbs.
• Minimum age for participation is 7 years. Children must be accompanied by an adult.
• Minimum height requirement is 4 feet (48 inches) tall.
• The level of your riding ability will be matched to the character of the horse chosen for you. The horses are very good with guests of all riding abilities.
• Please wear long pants and closed-toed boots or shoes, preferably with heels.
