Tours to the Holy Land: Trips & Israel Tour Packages 2024, 2025

"Every place we visited was breathtakingly beautiful, with stunning landscapes and rich historical and cultural heritage. We highly recommend visiting Israel to anyone who wants to experience an unforgettable journey. We had a life-changing time there and are already planning to return." Simon L. and Beatriz G. – Tour to Israel/Egypt/Jordan February 2024 "I had a wonderful time in Israel. I felt while I was there the precautions that were taken for our safety were well in hand. I still got to experience many holy sites and be blessed by walking the path that Jesus walked. Every day was started in prayer, singing, or scripture reading which also extended the blessing of the trip." Quincie L. – Tour to Israel/Egypt/Jordan February 2024

Our Israel tours & Holy Land tours of 9-24 days for the Evangelical Protestant Bible believer are what Pilgrim Tours does best. Prepare yourself for a life-changing journey to walk where Jesus walked and visit Jerusalem, Galilee, & Samaria. Each of our Israel tours is led by a local guide who is an experienced expert on the historical, cultural, scenic, and spiritual history of the Holy Land. If you travel with 10 or more people, a private group tour can easily be arranged. Pilgrim Tours can customize an itinerary to fit your group needs with many options to choose from.

Concerned about safety? As a Christian tour operator, the staff at Pilgrim Tours takes a Biblical perspective regarding the current situation in the Middle East. We do not believe that peace in Israel is something that will occur until the Prince of Peace comes to restore His kingdom. Please do not make a reservation with us based on the hopes of a calm future. If you long for the special blessings only available in Israel, we will take you there. An expert driver and guide will carefully keep you from any areas that could present a problem and treat you to the riches of Israel as our special guest.

Below is a large variety of Israel tour packages departing in 2024 and 2025 year-round.

Featured Sites in Israel

Explore a vast selection of beautiful historical and Biblical locations throughout Israel with our Israel Holy Land tour. You can visit Jerusalem, Galilee, and parts of Samaria, getting the life-changing opportunity to see where Jesus and many other Biblical figures lived and walked. We even offer Holy Land tours that allow you to see the Dead Sea, the Garden Tomb, and the Jordan River Baptism Site. Like all of our Europe tours , our Israel Holy Land tours are led by local guides who have extensive knowledge of the area and its history. If you want to experience the history of Israel and see the Bible come to life, our Holy Land tours give you that opportunity.

The city of Jerusalem offers a unique convergence of Judaism, Christianity, and the Muslim faith. For Christians who visit Jerusalem, you will learn about many stories of the Bible while walking her streets. Many actors in the Bible such as Abraham, King David, King Solomon, the twelve disciples and Jesus all lived, visited, or spent time there. The Passion week of Christ will be highlighted during our stay as we visit the Mount of Olives, the Garden of Gethsemane, the Western Wall, the Way of Suffering, and the Garden Tomb.

Sea of Galilee

Nowhere in Israel does the Bible come to life more than along the shores of the Sea of Galilee. Pilgrims who visit the Galilee region have the opportunity to imagine what life was like 2,000 years ago and what Jesus and the twelve disciples experienced while fishing on the Sea of Galilee. The peaceful setting and the natural wonders of the Golan Heights to the east and Mt. Arbel to the west make for a great way to start your morning in quiet reflection. During our tour, we explore the Biblical towns of Capernaum, Magdala, and Nazareth and take a meaningful cruise on the Sea of Galilee.

The Dead Sea is not only the lowest and most lifeless lake in the world, but also nearly 10 times saltier than the ocean. Travelers will enjoy the beautiful colors of the blue water and the red mountains of Jordan to the east. Take time to enjoy a once-in-a-lifetime Dead Sea “float” either in the sea itself or at one of the warm salt water pools at our hotel. The Dead Sea experience is truly a bucket list visit you won’t want to miss!

Garden Tomb

Our visit to the Garden Tomb and its surrounding gardens is normally one of the highlights of our tour to Israel. The Garden Tomb is a rock-cut tomb in Jerusalem that was unearthed in 1867 and is considered by some Protestants to be the site of the burial and resurrection of Jesus. Our visit offers a unique time of prayer, reflection, communion, and praise, which will be a special life-long memory for many travelers.

Jordan River Baptism Site

The Jordan River Baptist Site or “Yardenit” is a baptism site located along the Jordan River just south of the Sea of Galilee in northern Israel. This site is frequented by Christian Pilgrims who enjoy imagining the setting of the baptism of Jesus. For anyone who would like to be baptized in the Jordan River, Yardenit has been developed to be a peaceful setting with beautiful gardens, clean colored water, changing facilities, showers, and a nice souvenir shop.

Caesarea Philippi

To many Pilgrim travelers, Caesarea Philippi is a special surprise while on their tour. Located along the rushing springs of Mt. Hermon, the beautiful and natural setting is where Jesus asked his disciples “Who do men say that I am?” He asked this question while observing the pagan worship of the god Pan as worshipers offered their sacrifice at the “Gates of Hell.” Our time at Caesarea Philippi is one of many opportunities throughout our tour to see the lessons and message of the Bible come to light in a special way.

Israel Tours: Frequently Asked Questions

What is the best month for the Holy Land tour?

Taking a trip to Israel during the spring or fall offers the most enjoyable weather of the year but normally has the largest crowds. If you want to enjoy a peaceful tour with fewer crowds, consider visiting between December and February or June and August. We offer Israel and Jordan tours throughout the year, so you can select a trip that works for your schedule.

How many days do you need for a Holy Land tour?

We offer several types of tours of the Holy Land, so the duration of your tour depends on the tour package you choose. The Best of Israel Tour is our most basic offering and includes a Sea of Galilee boat ride, a trip to the Jordan River Baptism Site, the Dead Sea, and many opportunities to walk on the same land Jesus walked on. This is our shortest trip at just 9 or 10 days. Our most involved trips allow you to experience a wide range of historical locations over the course of a few weeks. Egypt tours are included in some of these packages, as well as tours in Greece and other countries. These tours can take up to 24 days, giving you the chance to spend an extended period of time learning about and visiting different parts of the world. From our Turkey tours to all of our Israel Christian tours, all of our tours feature a first-class hotel rating for the country you visit. We do offer some upgraded tours that offer better lodging options. You can review our hotel categories at https://www.pilgrimtours.com/company/hotelcomparison.htm . Check out any of our tours to view a day-by-day itinerary and see what amenities are included with each tour.

What is the dress code in Israel?

The dress code in Israel is different from other parts of the world. There are a few dress code basics you should understand before booking Israel tours: When you’re in Israel, there is no strict dress code. You can wear what you feel comfortable wearing. However, both men and women should try to dress conservatively and cover their shoulders and knees when visiting any of the religious sites throughout Israel. Generally speaking, it’s best to avoid tank tops and shorts. Men need to cover their heads when visiting the Western Wall. Pilgrim Tours provides a Pilgrim Tours ball cap upon arrival in Israel, but you might consider purchasing an affordable kippa that you can bring when you visit Jewish sites. Some places may offer a free kippa, but these are generally low quality. (Women are not required to cover their heads at any sight.) You can figure out what you need to pack and how to dress each day by looking at the itinerary for our Holy Land tours. Guides normally offer guidance on how to dress for the next day while on tour. We also suggest looking at the extended weather forecast as you prepare and pack for your trip.

Is there a lot of walking involved on an Israel Tour?

Our Israel tours do require a significant amount of walking each day and you should be able to walk unassisted 3-4 miles per day on average. Make sure you have a comfortable pair of shoes that provide adequate support. While there are bus and boat rides during these tours, you have to walk quite a bit to explore some of the Biblical sites. Our tour guides normally give the group a few options at sites for those that have physical limitations. One thing to keep in mind is that there are many hills and valleys in Israel which can make walking even more taxing. The amount of walking you have to do may vary based on the tour you take, so look at the itinerary before choosing your tour. The good news is that Israel is a beautiful country to see on foot, and you’ll have several opportunities to sit down and give your feet a rest. As long as you have a good pair of shoes and comfortable clothes, it’s easy to forget about all the walking you’re doing and enjoy the tour.

What passport & visa information do I need for your Israel tours?

U.S. citizens need a valid U.S. passport with at least six months validity beyond their intended stay to enter Israel. Make two photocopies of your passport. Leave one copy at home and carry the other separately from your original. Israel: U.S. and Canadian Citizens do not need a Visa when entering Israel. Non U. S. /Canadian Citizens are responsible to fulfill appropriate entry requirements of destination. Contact your Consulate office for requirements.

What common languages will be spoken during your Israel tours?

Hebrew, Arabic and English.

What currency can I use on your Israel tours?

The U.S. dollar is widely accepted across Israel, and we suggest bringing about $30 for each day you’ll be on tour. U.S. dollars are recommended for use for small purchases and lunches. Lunches typically cost $15-20. It is important to bring about 20 $1 bills as some bathrooms charge a small fee for use. Credit cards may also be used for larger purchases. ATMs in Israel are all connected to European and American banking systems. Please be advised that the ATM machines dispense money in SHEKELS – NOT U.S. DOLLARS. Please notify your bank before traveling overseas.

Do I need to bring a converter for the Israel tour?

Israel uses the European plug with two round pins. You will need to bring along the necessary converters and adapters to operate any 120 volt appliances such as hair dryers and electric razors as well as camera and cell phone chargers. Electricity in Israel is 220 volts 50 Hz.

What is the time zone for your Israel tours?

The time zone for Israel is seven hours ahead of EST and two hours ahead of GMT.

What climate should I expect during your Israel tours?

In Israel the climate is temperate, and temperatures all year-round are reasonable. Israel has two main seasons: winter (from November to March) is cold and rainy in most parts of the country; summer (from April to October) is hot and dry with little or no rainfall. The desert areas can be extremely hot in summer time.

THIS IS A CUSTOM-DESIGNED TRIP

If you want to spend more time in Israel and see more holy sites, then this trip is designed for you. Most trips to the Holy Land allow only around 7-8 full days in Israel. This severely limits what can be seen. Therefore, most who go to the Holy Land miss out on many significant holy sites as a result. This trip will have you in Israel for 13  full touring  days. You will, therefore, see almost  everything significant there is to see in Israel.

A 17-day trip like this normally is quite expensive (if you can find one). Why can we do it so inexpensively? Because we are eliminating tour companies, travel agencies, tour guides, etc., and are providing these services instead. We are also allowing you to book your own airfare, lodging, and some of your meals. And lastly, we are staying in nice, clean hotels /hostels instead of expensive hotels.  It is our pleasure to serve you and our Lord Jesus Christ in offering you this special and affordable trip of a lifetime.

Because this is a custom trip, each participant will be required to book their own airfare, lodging, and purchase some of their own meals.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

This trip is not for the weak and faint of heart! There will be a fair amount of walking, some hiking, climbing stairs, times when it could be warm (Dead Sea area), etc. Those considering this trip need to be in good shape and able to withstand some discomfort at times due to heat, walking, stairs, steps, hiking, etc. Our estimated walking distance will be about 3   - 5 miles (4 - 7 km.) a day. Those considering this trip need to be prepared for a rewarding but full schedule of about 8 - 9 hours a day. However, if at any time you want to take time off for rest during the trip, you are welcome to do so.

GROUP SIZE LIMIT

In order to have a more intimate and better experience, we limit our group size to around  35 - 40  people.  This allows us to be more efficient and see more places in Israel. Larger teams bring a different dynamic that slows things down and makes travel more difficult.

Each person will be responsible for booking their own air travel to Israel (to and from Ben Gurion Airport). Please make plans to arrive with plenty of time to attend our required  orientation and get-acquainted meeting at 7:00 pm at our Kfar Maccabiah Hotel & Suites in Tel Aviv. Due to customs and obtaining visas, please allow 3 hours from airport arrival to hotel arrival. The hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport, depending on traffic.

Note: For those having the time and resources, arriving a day early will give you a chance to rest up and get better prepared for your experience in Israel.

TRANSPORTATION IN ISRAEL

We will be transported via a large, air-conditioned motorcoach . Our bus driver is an Arab Christian who is able to take us to all sites in Israel, even in the West Bank.

LODGING IN ISRAEL

We will be staying at hotels with private rooms and bathrooms during our time in Israel. Our itinerary shows the hotels where we will stay (a total of three: Tel Aviv, Tiberias, and Jerusalem). Click here for hotel reservation links

LUGGAGE SIZE AND AMOUNT

We don't have a luggage size and number allowance per person, but we suggest not exceeding over 40-50 lbs (18-22 kg) per piece of luggage as it makes it hard to handle. The lighter, the better. You will be responsible for handling your own luggage on the trip, so don't pack any heavier than what you can lift.

MEALS IN ISRAEL

Each person will be responsible for paying for their own lunches and dinners.

Breakfast  - The hotels will provide breakfast if desired. Some will provide dinners as well. These can be paid for when you book your lodging or at the hotels.  It's ideal to eat breakfast at the hotels as it's handy. However, you can eat your breakfast if desired at a local restaurant or made by hand.

Lunch  - Because eating out is expensive in Israel, time-consuming with a large group, and we will not always be close to a restaurant, each trip participant will prepare themself a daily sack lunch. Each day around noon, we will take a break to eat, or you can eat and snack as you wish. Lunch items can be purchased at local grocery stores or extra items from the breakfasts buffets at the hotels can be taken (the hotels seem okay with this). The hotels will have refrigerators in the rooms if needed.

Dinner  – On your own. Enjoy the local culture as you eat at local restaurants or the hotel if you prefer.

PARK & ENTRANCE PASSES

Holy Land Site Ministries will pay for all park and entrance fees to all sites. You will be responsible for paying for any entrance fees you want to see during your free time.

WHAT WILL OUR VISITS TO EACH SITE BE LIKE?

Our visits will normally last around two hours. We will begin with some orientation of the site. Then we'll do a walking tour to see the site and its points of interest. Afterward, we'll find a quiet spot to reflect on the main events from the Bible that happened at the site and close with a faith lesson to learn the key truths God would desire to teach us. Some of the Bible teachings might be filmed for publishing on our website. We'll then end our visit with some free time.

A valid U.S. Passport is required. Passports must have at least six months left before they expire for travel to Israel.

TRIP PREPARATION

Please utilize the videos and info on our website that provide help and orientation to better understand many of the biblical sites we will be visiting, the history of Israel, and other helpful info. In addition, we will provide helpful info leading up to our trip that will help prepare you to get the most out of your holy land experience.

We also ask that you acquaint yourself with our Travel Orientation Material found on our website. You will find it extremely helpful.

TIME OF YEAR FOR THIS TRIP

We’ve chosen these dates to visit Israel because the weather is stable, the days are longer, and there are no Jewish Holidays that will interfere with our travels.

DAILY ITINERARY

Please take into consideration that there might be slight adjustments to the schedule depending on things out of our control. Additionally, if the team would like some flexibility in seeing sights, we are happy to do this if possible.

MONEY IN ISRAEL

Credit cards and Dollars are readily accepted, and Shekels can be drawn from ATMs.

INTERNET IN ISRAEL

Phone SIM cards can be purchased for around $39.99 if you want Internet service at all times while in Israel. You can also activate your phone for international service.

If you don't have Internet via your phone service, at each hotel where we will be staying, free Internet service is provided. Also, the tour bus has free Internet service as well.

DIGITAL MAPS OF DAILY TRIP ITINERARY

For each tour trip itinerary , you will see at the bottom of each day's itiner ary a link to see a Google Map of the route and sites we'll be seeing each day. Here's an example:

Tour Day 1:   G oogle Map Itinerary

DAILY SCHEDULE

We will leave our place of lodging each day at 7:45 am and return around 4:00 - 5:00 pm. From this time on, you will have free time to eat, relax, see the local sites and culture, etc.

PERSONAL TRAVEL IN ISRAEL

You can take a taxi, walk, use the bus or light rail train system. The best option is to make sure you have Internet in Israel (you can activate your phone or get an Israeli SIM card) and use Google Maps. It will tell you exactly which bus, light rail train, or walking route will best suit you. It also works in real-time, so you can see exactly when buses and trains are arriving and departing.

The minimum age for trip participants is 12 years old unless other arrangements have been made with tour hosts.

Cross the border into Israel and visit Qumran, site of the Dead Sea Scrolls discovery. Learn about the mysterious community of Essenes who once lived on the shores of the Dead Sea. Head to Jericho to visit the ruins of the ancient city Joshua conquered (Joshua 6:20). From Jericho, you can see the traditional site of the Temptation of Jesus (Matthew 4:1).

Day 4 Day 4 – Jerusalem

Enter the Old City and walk along the Cardo, the ancient main street. The Southern Wall Excavations of the Temple Mount, including the Teaching Steps and the Western Wall, are a must see. View the Pool of Bethesda (John 5:1-18), where Jesus performed the Sabbath miracle, and sing a hymn in the Church of St. Anne to experience its beautiful acoustics. Visit Herod’s Antonia Fortress, where Jesus was brought before Pontius Pilate (Luke 23:1). Walk the Via Dolorosa, “the Way of the Cross,” and end your day at the Church of the Holy Sepulchre, reflecting on Christ’s sacrificial love.

Day 5 Day 5 – Jerusalem

Stand on the Mount of Olives as Jesus did, and enjoy a remarkable view of the “Golden City” of Jerusalem, including the Temple Mount and Dome of the Rock. Visit the Garden of Gethsemane, where Jesus prayed for God’s will to be done (Matthew 26:36-39). Visit the Upper Room, revered as the site of the Last Supper (Mark 14:12-26). Visit the House of the High Priest Caiaphas (Matthew 26:57), where Jesus was imprisoned for a night. End your day with communion at the Garden Tomb (Matthew 27:57-60).

Day 6 Day 6 – Bethlehem & Caesarea

In Bethlehem, visit the cave where Jesus was born (Luke 2:1-7) and see the Church of the Nativity built over the site. Gaze out over Shepherds’ Field, where the angels first proclaimed the Good News. Visit the Roman Aqueduct and Theatre at Caesarea, a center of the early Christians, where Cornelius became the first Gentile convert to the new religion (Acts 10), and where Paul was imprisoned before being taken to Rome for trial.

Day 7 Day 7 – The Galilee

Enjoy a scenic drive to Capernaum, center of Jesus’ ministry in the Galilee (Matt.4:13, 23). On the Mount of Beatitudes, contemplate the text of the Sermon on the Mount that Jesus preached there (Matt. 5-7). Experience a special onboard worship service as you sail across the Sea of Galilee. Visit the Church of the Fish and the Loaves in Tabgha, the traditional location of the feeding of the 5,000 (Luke 9:10-17). As you pray in the Chapel of the Primacy, remember how Peter professed his devotion to the risen Christ three times (John 21). Once on the other side, visit the Gold Souk, where you can haggle with shopkeepers for beautiful jewelry, before continuing to the Spice Souk. As you wander through the stalls, you can savor the aromas of cardamom, turmeric, dried lemons, and rose petals. This afternoon zoom into the remote Lahbab desert that lies outside the city. During the drive, your guide answers any questions and shares information about the region. Head off the road into bright red dunes and have your camera ready to capture what looks like giant beanbags of sand. Then hold tight as you cruise toward the highest slopes. Feel the adrenaline race as your vehicle plows up the dunes before sliding and slipping back down the slopes, churning up billowing clouds of sand in the process. Reach a high desert dune for a photo stop and admire 360-degree views of the desert landscape as the sun slowly sets. We’ll start with a guided walk of the beautifully restored Neve Zedek, a picturesque neighborhood dating back to the early 1900s. It feels a bit like southern France, with its narrow streets lined with Bauhaus and Art Deco buildings, galleries and great restaurants. After a free afternoon to delight in the seaside promenade or an outdoor café, we’ll gather for a tour of Old Jaffa. Today we’ll gain insights into Israel’s diverse history, religions and scenery as we leave Tel Aviv and travel north along the coastal road. Our first stop is ancient Caesarea, where we’ll dig into its amazing archaeological discoveries and see its ancient Roman port and aqueduct, Byzantine streets and Crusader ruins. The next leg of our journey takes us up scenic Mount Carmel for splendid bay views, as well as a visit to a Druze village’s colorful market. The Druze are a unique religious and ethnic minority in Israel. In Haifa, we’ll see the world headquarters of the Baha’i faith, the imposing golden-domed Baha’i Shrine and its terraced Persian gardens. We'll continue to the Crusader city of Akko on Haifa Bay, one of the oldest port cities in the world and home to the only mosque that is open for visitors locally. We'll finish our sightseeing at the grottos of Rosh Hanikra, where we'll ride a cable car down to view the cavernous tunnels formed by the waters of the Mediterranean. Finally, we'll drive to our kibbutz hotel on the Sea of Galilee and enjoy dinner together.

Day 4: Sea of Galilee & Golan Heights

Here, we’ll tour a local winery and sample the wines. After lunch, our excursion continues to Safed, a center of Kabbalah (Jewish mysticism) and a thriving artists’ colony, before returning to your hotel late this afternoon. Later, we’ll proceed to Beit Shean to view the stunning remains and amphitheater of a well-preserved Roman city. Ein Gedi is notable not only for its breakthtaking natural beauty, but for being the biggest oasis in the country with springs and waterfalls, and for being home to the Ibex and Hyraxes. Later in Masada, we'll stop to ride a cable car up the mountain for a tour of a mountaintop fortress built by King Herod, a UNESCO World Heritage site where Jewish rebels held off a Roman siege and committed mass suicide rather than surrender. At a spa hotel on the Dead Sea’s shores, we’ll enjoy lunch, pool and beach, as well as the chance to "float" on the therapeutic waters of the Dead Sea. The sense of buoyancy is amazing! We are honored and humbled that you are considering one of our Israel trips (as well as to Greece, Turkey, Jordan, and Egypt). Dr. John DeLancey, Director of BIMT ,  has now led 89  Israel tours and  16  separate Greece & Turkey, and many dozens other trip extensions to Jordan and Egypt. Dr. John is one of the leading evangelical tour guide/teachers who leads multiple trips to Israel each year. It is our ministry mission to offer the very best, most extensive, highly biblical, non “touristy,” and inspirational trip to Israel and other lands of the Bible. Trips are now scheduled through the end of 2025, with 2026 planned out.  Each trip includes a bunch of off-the-beaten-path  sites and optional hiking excursions unlike about 90% of most “Israel tours.” Traveling with us is like experiencing a continual “ pictorial Bible study .”   Feel free to request a free brochure/packet for any of our Israel trips!

All our our trips are unique, with various optional extensions (e.g. Jordan, Turkey, Greece, even a week of digging at an archaeological site). In 2025 we plan to offer more tours of Israel for people with disabilities with our specialized one-wheel wheelchair called “Rosie.”

“What a marvelous trip!  Your tour really made the Holy Land come alive. Your knowledge and expertise of the biblical history and geography were exquisite and provided the background to learning so much! Thank you! I am still processing the trip and sorting through my notes and pictures. It was the best trip ever! I learned so much and it has already impacted my ability to teach and preach with better clarity! Thank you so much. Looking forward to the next time we can travel with you. Blessings! ”   Rev. "Life transforming Israel tours & teaching in the context of the land of the Bible"

Jerusalem, Old City, Temple Mount, Mt. of Olives, Biblical Israel Tours, Holyland Tours, Christian Israel Trips

A “Quick View”

For sure, there are good Israel tours out there from which to choose. Praise God for this, for more and more believers in Christ need to see and experience the “land of the Bible!” Yet because of the type of tours we lead, we like to humbly categorize our trips as a step above just good … rather,  great!

Dr. DeLancey personally and carefully writes and plans his own trip itineraries that will take you to the maximum number of biblical sites. You will gain tremendously from his vast experience, expertise, and teaching! Our Israel trips are “non-touristy” tours that goes to many sites not visited by the average tour. Additionally, our tours are not cookie-cutter” tours (like 90% of Israel tours are) that visit many “traditional sites and churches. Rather, we offer tours that are more like a   discipleship journey  that prioritizes genuine biblical sites, many “off-the-beaten-track” sites as possible, optional hikes, and intentional times of reflection that will engage your mind and heart! Drawing from his one year of study in Jerusalem (at Jerusalem University College in 1981-82)and leading 89 Israel tours to date, you will be on the receiving end of his vast experience and passion. Many of these trips have included Jordan and Egypt extensions as well. He has also led 16  separate Greece & Turkey Tours.

If you are looking for not just a good tour but a great  tour, namely a trip that immerses you into the geography of the land and the customs and culture of the Bible, we humbly feel you’ve found the right place! The world of both the Old and New Testament will come alive at each and every site we visit! More specifically, the life and ministry of Jesus will come alive as you will literally walk where The Master walked!

Life Impact

We strongly feel that each and every Israel trip really is the ultimate discipleship program that will transform your spiritual walk with God! Your excitement for reading God’s Word will reach new heights and your heart will be touched beyond imagination! Simply put, a trip to Israel and other lands of the Bible is a lifetime investment in your “faith walk” with God. You will grow stronger and go deeper in your relationship with Christ! You will never be the same!

How Do I Sign Up?

Registration for each tour can be done three ways:

1. On Line Tour Registration:

The simplest and quickest way would be use the on-line registration link below. This will take you directly to the web site of the Israel travel agent we exclusively use,   imagine Tours & Travel   (iTT). They handle all the registration for each of our BIMT tours. They are the best in the business of Israel travel! This is a safe & secure way to place your $500 deposit instantly with your credit card and reserve your spot on this tour.

When this new page opens, simply type in “ DeLancey ”  in the box provided. Then click on the specific tour that God is leading you to join. If you have any questions while you are signing up on-line, feel free to call the  iTT  office (863-709-9208).

(Again, once you see the open box, simply type in “ DeLancey ” and click “submit.” Once you do this, you will see all the available tours Dr. DeLancey is leading).

2. Download the tour registration form:

You may download the brochure and registration forms directly from the web page of the specific tour that you are considering. You may then print off and complete the form and mail it directly to imagine Tours & Travel  along with your $500 deposit that reserves your spot on the tour.

3. Request a free tour brochure:

You may also request a free “Israel information” packet from us by filling out the on-line “request tour information” (below) or by emailing Dr. DeLancey at [email protected] . You may also call him (412-999-5697) if you would like to speak with him and/or ask questions. In our free packet that we mail, we always include a brochure about our ministry and other “goodies!”  We will be happy to mail a packet to you.

Israel Tour Details & Highlights:

Both the Old and New Testaments will come  alive  in immeasurable ways.  We like to say to people that you will be able to read the Bible in “ 3-D”  once you see the Bible in  context.  We use the world of archaeology, historical geography, and an appreciation of ancient near-eastern culture to bring the Scriptures alive!  We read Scripture at every site!

Every Israel tour is led by Dr. DeLancey. He has been a  pastor (for 26 years), teacher, and archaeologist. Having studied in Jerusalem for one year and excavated at eight (8) biblical sites in Israel, he leads highly biblical, in-depth Israel tours from an evangelical perspective.

  • Every Israel tour (and to other lands of the Bible) is not only meant to  enlighten  your understanding of Scripture, but also to  touch your heart .   We will enjoy times of worship and reflection together (Dr. DeLancey takes a guitar and lead in worship times along the way). We’ll also share Communion at the  Garden Tomb.  We will enjoy the fellowship of one another all day long!
  • We’ll zero in on the life and ministry of Christ , especially in the Galilee as well as in Jerusalem. We’ll explore the  words  of Jesus (from Matthew), the  works  of Jesus (for Mark), the  chronology  of Jesus’ ministry (from Luke), and both the Deity and yet opposition that Jesus encountered (from John). This is why we need a full two days in the Galilee (while most tours only spend one).
  • We keep your  safety  as our highest goal.  Rest assured, traveling to Israel is safe! With our personal contacts and connections  on the ground  in Israel especially, we get updates all the time about the conditions. Despite how our news media  sensationalizes  the situation there, we view safety as a high priority and it is not an issue at all. We have  never  had  any  safety issues in over 30+ years of leading trips.
  • Beside full-day touring (as opposed to partial day ), optional morning and evening gatherings (for review, reflection, and worship) are offered for those who just can’t “get enough.” We even throw in some extra “excursions” too (e.g. hike up Arbel, explore at Qumran, Mt Hermon, Zin Desert, Wadi Qelt, nightly walks in Jerusalem, and much more, depending on the tour.)
  • Each person (or couple) gets a copy of the book,  Devotional Treasures from the Holy Land (Third Edition, November, 2016) and Connecting the Dots Between the Bible and the Land of Israel  (2022). It is sent to you around 30-45 days prior to the trip.
  • Private coach/bus. In Israel, we only use newer buses complete with wifi.
  • Private guide. Shlomo Ben Asher is the guide Dr. DeLancey exclusively uses (now about 50 times). He is one of the best! Dr. DeLancey and Shlomo co-teach at sites. When we have two-bus tours, our second guide is always top-notch as well.
  • While on tour, Dr. DeLancey  updates the web site  each night of the trip with both text and sample photos, allowing your friends and loved ones to follow our daily experiences.  As people see your smiling face  on-line , we have literally 100’s who are not only following us but praying for us as well.
  • The average  group size for most of Dr. DeLancey’s tours is around 25-45. This means the group would travel together on one bus. Occasionally on more popular tours, the group size can be potentially 55-100. For groups that are larger than 50 people, a second bus is used. When a second bus is required, Dr. DeLancey offers teaching at many sites for both buses, as well as spends time in each bus. On occasions when traveling with two buses is needed, trips still work quite well since “head-set systems” are used during the trip.  Our travel agents,  imagine Tours & Travel (Lakeland, FL) are the very best in specializing in Israel travel.  At any given time, we have multiple groups in Israel and other countries. iTT  views their agency not only as a  business  but as a  ministry that aims to honor God in all they do.  They take care of all the  travel details  so that we won’t have to! Their entire staff look forward to helping you in any way!
  • Our  pricing  is always competitive. All the costs of each tour are  all-inclusive  prices. This means that all the  departure taxes & fuel surcharges  (presently around $600), airfare, 4 star/4 star plus hotels, 2 meals daily, tips for guides, drivers and hotel services (these are all handled for you), and all site entry fees. On some of our tours, we go to up to 16-18 parks (most other tours go to only 5-7)! All of these fees are covered.
  • Additionally, each Israel tour has an  early bird discount  for people making early registrations and deposits. Comparing “apples to apples” with other tours agencies, the price is always great! There is even land-only  pricing that has been arranged for folks who either want to use their own  frequent flyer miles  to and from Tel Aviv (or other destinations) and to accommodate those from other countries who wish to join us.  We warmly welcome people from all over the world to join us!  We usually have a few from different countries on every tour!
  • You will also greatly benefit from the on-line “ Trip Preparation ” session taught by Dr. DeLancey. Prior to your Israel trip (and Greece tours), you will be led through a “Trip Preparation” session. You get to meet others sign up for the trip too! This teaching is offered through the free  Zoom  platform.
  • What is  not  included in the all-inclusive price are the following: The cost of your domestic connecting flight to our departing city, lunches, and travel insurance through Travel Guard  (this is recommended but completely optional given today’s airline performance).
  • In today’s  technological  world where we need to  connect  all the time, our private coaches/busses that we use have free wifi. This goes for the lobby area of all of our hotels as well. This is a nice practical perk.
  • We offer  privately-led tours  for churches who may want to travel as their own group. We can even offer your pastor  complementary travel  so that your pastor can join me in co-leading your group. What a tremendous ministry and  discipleship encounter  this would be to experience the Holy Land together as a church family!

As God leads and provides, we look forward to sharing our personal friendship and ministry with you! We are here to serve you and help you grow in your walk of faith with  Christ!

Walk in the Footsteps of Jesus Video

From the Galilee to Jerusalem, walk in the footsteps of Jesus. Follow Him all the way to Jerusalem where He both died and rose again!  As the video takes you through these various various parts of Israel and to some of the specific sites where he taught, healed, and shared the kingdom message, we wanted to give you a sense of what it was like to  walk in his sandals  and experience these places yourself! In a very rabbinic way in the 1st century, to  walk in the dust  of the rabbi meant to be  covered  (e.g. like dust) with His teaching. We hope that the kingdom ministry of Jesus becomes real and transforming to you through this video as you retrace his footsteps throughout the land where it all happened!
