This long raincoat relies on a basic design: zippered front, two side pockets, one rear pocket, and a cinchable hood. But now it’s even more resistant to the elements, thanks to the innovation of nylon Ripstop WP+MVP 3000mm—yes, “WP” is short for waterproof. For breathability, the jacket is fitted with a ventilation slit in back, and the entire coat is packable in the rear pouch.

Exceptionally, tickets for visits from June 17 will go on sale later than usual (instead of 60 days before the day of the visit). No tickets for this summer (including during the Olympic Games) are currently on sale, so do not buy tickets from websites promoting such offers. Keep an eye on our official online ticket office.

RSA (earned income supplement) recipients

An order may include a maximum of 9 tickets

An order may only contain a maximum of 5 children’s tickets (4 years or younger)

An order may only contain a maximum of 2 RSA (earned income supplement) tickets

An order containing only children’s tickets (-4 years old and 4-11 years old) is not permitted.

“Adult”: Normal rate for adults 25 years old and over.

“Youth (12-24 years old)”: Rate for youth between 12 and 24 years old. Proof of age required.

“Children” (4-11 years old)”: Rate for children between 4-11 years old. Proof of age required. Mandatory purchase of an adult or youth ticket.

“Small children (younger than 4 years old)”: Free for children younger than 4 years old. Ticket and proof of age required. There is no left luggage office available, in particular for strollers.

“RSA (earned income supplement) recipients”: Rate applied to French RSA (earned income supplement) recipients only, available at the Tower's ticket offices.

“Disabled individuals”: Rate for disabled individuals only applicable upon presentation of valid certificate. Access to the Summit and stairs is not permitted for individuals with reduced mobility.

How much does it cost to visit the eiffel tower.

To check the prices for the Eiffel Tower, please visit this page on the official Eiffel Tower site . The Eiffel Tower online ticket office provides the official prices. The adult price applies to adults 25 years and over.  There are discount rates for young people (12-24 years old), children (4-11 years old) and for those with disabilities. Admission is free for children under 4 years old. The price of the ticket varies upon how you go up (elevator and/or stairs) and the destination (2nd floor or the upper floor) you select. 

The desired visit date is not available, what should I do?

Certain days (weekends, days during peak season between July and August) are in high demand and we sell out quickly, especially for e-tickets for the top floor, which are the most popular. If you are flexible, select another date that is shown as available. The dates marked in orange indicate that the last tickets are available. Lined out or grayed out dates are no longer available. If there is no more online availability, note that tickets to visit the Eiffel Tower are also sold on site at the ticket offices at the monument. Regardless, we sell our tickets online up to 60 days in advance (for lift tickets) and 14 days in advance (for stairs tickets to second floor). If you can, plan your visit well in advance, so you will have the choice of date, destination and time.  

How many tickets can I buy?

On the online ticket shop, you can buy up to 9 tickets for the same order. Groups who want to buy tickets, regardless of the number, must use the ticket office site reserved for groups.

The Eiffel Tower’s online box office allows you to purchase your ticket online for the 2nd floor or the Summit at the official rate. You can purchase individual e-tickets for up to 9 people. Tickets can also be purchased several weeks in advance. With the e-ticket system, experience no lines! You will directly receive your ticket by e-mail so you can print it at home or store it on your smartphone. If e-tickets are sold out for the date/time or destination that you search, it is always possible to purchase tickets on the spot on the day of your visit.  At the scheduled hour, go directly to the lifts or stairs without having to wait at the ticket stands. There are mandatory security checks at the Eiffel Tower’s entrance and before entering one of the pillars.

Guided tour up to the second floor with access to the Top

This comprehensive visit includes a tour by an official Eiffel Tower guide and includes facilitated access to the elevator from the ground to the second floor. Learn more about the major historical events and little-known anecdotes behind the Eiffel Tower and experience the thrilling ascent to the top. Your guide will take you up to the second floor during a one-hour guided tour. You can then continue your visit the whole way to the Top, making sure you take time to explore the second and first floors at your own pace on the way back down.

The guided tour, available in French or English, is open to groups of up to 12 people. After meeting on the esplanade, your official guide will take you on a seamless one-hour visit. Once the tour is over, your guide will say “au revoir” on the second floor after showing you how to get to the elevator that will take you to the Top. The rest of your visit will be self-guided. Explore at your own pace, taking in the panoramic views at every level and enjoying all the benefits of the guided tour ticket at selected shops and food and beverage outlets.

The visit experience

01 – Meet your tour guide on the esplanade beneath the Eiffel Tower

Punctuality is the key to starting this visit on the right foot. Make sure you arrive at the Official Guided Tours meeting point (provided on your e-ticket) at least 15 minutes before the time indicated on your ticket. The tour starts right on time. Your guide will start by taking you to an exclusive area reserved for visitors taking the guided tour to show you how the two historic Eiffel Tower elevators work.

02 – Learn more about the monument during a one-hour tour

Your guide will then facilitate your access to the elevator taking you to the second floor. During the one-hour guided tour, you will discover the major milestones in the history of the Tower and learn more about how this iconic monument operates on a daily basis.

03 – Self-guided ascent to the top

After your guided tour, you can complete your visit at your own pace. Your ticket allows you to take the elevator from the upper level of the second floor to the Top of the Eiffel Tower. You may have to wait to take this elevator. Take your time and enjoy the most beautiful view of Paris and the surrounding region. If you’d like to raise a glass to celebrate this unforgettable moment, be sure to visit the champagne bar on the top.

04- Make your way back down and explore

Continue to explore the Eiffel Tower on your way back down. Feel free to return to both levels of the second floor. Take in all the different views of the city and surrounding areas and be sure to enjoy the restaurants and shops! To make your way down to the first floor and ground floor, we recommend taking the stairs to discover the tower’s fascinating structure. Once you've reached the first floor, take your time exploring this level and its wealth of content and panoramic views. Yesterday I was checking the Eiffel Tower's official site, and I found out thanks to their communication, that tickets from the 17th June are not going in sale 60 days before the day of the visit, as the usual, but later... did anyone hear news on the new possible date for the sale (I'm planning to on the 19th)?

Also, does this mean that buying tickets for late-June will be way harder that the usual due to the Olympics (even if you connect to their website at midnight on the eventual day of sale)?

Kitay Gorod is the oldest part of Moscow after the Kremlin, emerged in the 14th century due to the expansion of the boundaries of the Kremlin.:

2024 RBC Heritage leaderboard, scores: J.T. Poston leads with Masters star Ludvig Åberg in hunt after Round 1

Scottie scheffler is also in the mix but sitting six shots back after the first 18 holes on thursday.

In one of the stranger transitions this PGA Tour season, the RBC Heritage started on Thursday just four days after the final round of the Masters. It's a great field in a no-cut, big-money event, which is fun for fans. However, it felt odd to watch golfers play a regular PGA Tour stop so quickly after the first major championship of the year.

So, it was no surprise to see some of the bigger stars struggle a bit and some lesser names rise to the top of the leaderboard. One of those names is J.T. Poston, who shot a round-of-the-day 8-under 63. He's trailed by, well, everybody else in the field at the $20 million event at Hilton Head.

Let's take a look at his round as well as those on the chase going into Round 2 on Friday.

1. J.T. Poston (-8)

Poston was second in the field in putting on Thursday, which is why he's leading. But he also hit it well, which has not been the case. After putting together five top 20s in six starts on the West Coast, Poston has no top 20s in four starts since heading east. 

He credited better ball-striking (he was top 15 in that category on Thursday), but also gave a shout out to his wife for allowing him to get a little sleep with their newborn on the road.

"We've got a two-bedroom condo," explained Poston. "My mom is staying with us. We've got her in her little setup. Last night my wife was great; she got up in the middle of the night a couple times when she was ready to eat or being fussy and let me sleep, so maybe we'll keep doing that."

Other contenders

T2. Collin Morikawa, Seamus Power (-6) T4. Austin Eckroat, Mackenzie Hughes, Sahith Theegala, Patrick Rodgers, Ludvig Aberg, Sepp Straka (-5)

Åberg has the look you want to see from a young potential star going into this event off a solo second at the Masters. He's a flusher's flusher, hit 13 of 14 fairways on Thursday with that perfect swing of his and cruised to a 66 with absolutely nothing on or around the greens.

Terrifying stuff.

"My focus shifted right when I got here," said Åberg. "We were trying to make sure that last week was last week and this week was this week. But, yeah, obviously last week is still something I look back on with a smile. But, yeah, my focus is here this week, and hopefully we'll be able to keep up good golf.

"I'd like to think that I'm young and I'll be able to handle it," he added about playing three consecutive weeks. "But, yes, I think I'll crash for a few days next week when I'm not playing. But I'm looking forward to the rest of the week."

Scottie ... again?

Scottie Scheffler has lost to one golfer since March 1 -- that was Stephan Jager at the Houston Open a few weeks ago. He's defeated ... everyone else he's played, including wins at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, Players Championship and, of course, last week's Masters. Could that continue this week? He's off to a decent start at 2 under that included a double bogey. 

It's his 36th consecutive round at or under par to start 2024.

"It would have felt better if I got off to a better start," said Scheffler, who made double at the third hole after botching a bunker shot and failing to get up and down. "I tried to give myself a little bit of grace there, but I got pretty frustrated towards the middle of the round because I was playing good, felt like I was hitting good putts and my speed was maybe a touch off. 

"I shanked the bunker shot on 3. I shank it a decent amount, but never in competition ... I tried to kind of give myself a little bit of grace there. It clearly was just a mental lapse and I wasn't quite into it yet. Tried to give myself a little bit of time. I had a much better back nine. Hit a lot of really good shots. Hit some nice putts, too. Looking forward to the rest of the week."

Scheffler looked the way anyone would look after winning the Masters: physically and emotionally exhausted.

"I think I was maybe too settled down to start the day. I wasn't quite into the competition. I think maybe it was a bit of fatigue, whatever it was. But I felt like I was still kind of getting adjusted to the golf course."

Scheffler is not in a great position for a fourth win in five starts because of when this tournament lands on the schedule. Beating the best players in the world in a given week is difficult enough as it is. Doing so after the emotional toll of winning a Masters is monumental. If anyone can do it, it's him. But there were definitely some mistakes in there early for Scheffler that we are unaccustomed to seeing. 

Those mistakes will be cleaned up eventually, and Scheffler will play his way into the tournament. The question for him after Round 1 is whether falling outside the top 20 after the first day will prohibit him from yet another victory.

• Rory McIlroy: 11-1

I'm in on Åberg getting a victory this week, and I like those 7-1 odds. Which means Scheffler is definitely going to shoot 64 on Friday and surge into the lead. Guys who hit it great and you should keep an eye on include Cameron Young (20-1) and Russell Henley (28-1).
