Hotel details   Your holiday begins with a week at the 5-star Sea Star Beau Rivage Hotel. The beachfront resort has views over the Red Sea and is less than five minutes' drive from the town centre, and under 20 minutes' drive from the marina. Hurghada Grand Aquarium can be reached within 30 minutes by taxi. 

Head to the private beach, take a dip in the three outdoor swimming pools, go snorkelling to discover the nearby coral reef, or play mini-golf at the 8-hole course. There's also a spa with a steam bath, a sauna, a Jacuzzi, and a gym (treatments are available for a supplement).

The main restaurant serves oriental and Egyptian cuisine, or you can dine at the Italian and seafood à la carte restaurants for an extra fee. There are two lounges, as well as a shisha lounge, a café, a pub, and a disco. All rooms have a sea view (some may be a side sea view).

Cruise details You'll get transfers to and from Luxor port, where you'll board MS King Tut I and cruise a round-trip itinerary from Luxor to Aswan. You'll journey alongside swaying date palms, ancient temple complexes, and royal burial chambers, and get some fascinating glimpses of daily life on the riverbanks.

Shore visits are not included unless you add an excursion pack. The light excursion package costs £159 per person, and includes entrance to Karnak, Luxor Temple, Temple of Kom Ombo, Philae, Aswan High Dam, and the Horus Temple at Edfu, with an English-speaking Egyptologist guide and all ground transportation in an air-conditioned vehicle. The full excursion package costs £189 per person, and includes everything mentioned above plus the Valley of the Kings (Tomb of Tutankhamon), the Mortuary Temple of Hatshepsut, and the Colossi of Memnon.

How and where will your data be processed?

When your credit card details are required as part of the booking process, we store the last 4 digits and an authorisation code. In the case of some low-cost airlines, we will use the payment details you provide to purchase the flight seats on your behalf.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area ("EEA"), including (in some instances) where we transfer your data to our suppliers so that they can assist us with providing our services to you. My experience was shocking as they took…

My experience was shocking as they took my money for transfers and in their words never booked them as the offer had gone so left us stranded at Dubrovnik airport with no transfer to Montenegro. We had to pay with cash to get a taxi to the hotel no thanks to Jetliner. I emailed and rang several times to ask about the transfer details and was ignored only waiting at the airport did someone inform me they were never booked even though I paid. I would not recommend Jetline holidays from my experience. Book with a high street travel agent if require a package. First package booked in 20 years and was not as expected. I would also like to add that I am 450 euros out of pocket plus stress from this terrible experience. I also never received the transfers originally paid for let alone information that they were never going to take place. I will be placing a formal complaint with Travelzoo and Jetline.

I cannot apologise enough for what happened, we are very disappointed as this is not the level of service that we aim to maintain.

New to Jetline Vacations

We were able to customize our vacation package to our liking. Our agent worked with us to update our selection of dates, resort, room type, airline and flights. We were pleased to have two daily meals included in our vacation package price as well as transfers to and from the airport to our resort, which in our case included a ferry. Representatives were waiting for us holding up clearly printed signs with our names. It was very reassuring and removed a good deal of stress to not have to navigate our own transportation. Our vacation was a wonderful experience and an excellent value as well. We are very pleased. Our agent did a good job working with us on the details. I write this having just returned home from our wonderful vacation in Ischia Italy!

Flight cancelled same day of booking

Update: after a bit of to and fro, we have now received a refund for the hotels and trains. We still have to try and obtain a refund for our outward flight but at least we can move on. The customer service people were all pleasant and keen to help. *We booked a 3 centre holiday, arriving in Prague and departing from Budapest. We received our flight confirmation and less than 3 hours later were told our return flight was cancelled. Ryanair refunded only on the cancelled flight, not the outward and their alternatives were either the day before or two days later. Jetline refuse to refund and alternative holidays we have offered to accept which show on the Mail Travel website as available, Jetline say are NOT available. We are now more than £400 out of pocket and having to fight for resolution.

End result entirely satisfactory despite some issues.

The holiday was a great deal, with ideal flight times in a highly rated hotel. Our Jetline contact was very helpful whilst we were going through the initial booking process but I had to chase to get the final booking confirmation and documents, having made a 50% deposit with no acknowledgement or receipt. To be fair, this was over the Easter weekend so some delay could have been anticipated. However, it did take a few calls to get everything sorted, and I didn’t speak with the original contact again. Also, one final e mail asking for a particular request to be sent to the hotel has been ignored (I have sent the request myself). One final thing, because of the way the package has been put together we have “flight only” bookings with the carrier. And that does make a difference with the carrier when it comes to booking assistance and baggage. Overall though, the end result has been entirely satisfactory.

This is my first experience with Jetline Vacations. I am a little nervous after reading previous reviews. The price is right and Smith made the process easy. Fortnight holiday in Egypt including Nile cruise

We recently had a two week holiday in Egypt, a week in Hurghada & a week on Nile Cruise with ship Ruby Nile. Local travel agency company based in Hurghada came to see us (party of 7) at the resort to explore booking trips whilst aboard the cruise ship. The agent made us feel that things have changed since our booking & it would not be safe to explore ancient ruins in Luxor. We thought perhaps due to Israel Gaza conflict and Egypt being close to the region it would not be safe for us to explore local attractions on our own, hence we booked 3 day excursions in Luxor, Edfu & Aswan. At no stage the agent explained we had to pay extra £35 per person for gratuity for tipping crew on the cruise ship and excursions. On arrival in Luxor, another tour guide took over, who insisted that gratuity must be paid upfront before the start of the cruise. We were told that the money paid will be paid to the ship crew. We later found out that was not the case. When we expressed our concern to the tour guide at the end of the cruise, we were told that it has always been company policy (Hvezda) to collect gratuities upfront. Some of the local excursions were done by walk but we were charged more money as the local Hvezda agent made it as trips by buses. When we got back to our resort to spend couple of days before returning to the UK, we met a few guests who were on the Nile cruise with ship King Tut 1 & we learned that their tour guide collected £25 per person upfront. Jetline Holidays never explained to us during the booking that gratuities had to be paid at the outset of the cruise. There seems to be inconsistency with local tour Guides collecting different amount in gratuities up front. We have no objection paying tips to the ship crew but we were forced to pay to the local guide up front and not sure if the tips had been paid direct to the ship crew or not. Pretty disappointed with the way it was handled. Also a word of caution, don’t get misled when you visit local places recommended by the guide. It’s another trick where you are charged more for perfume or spices, which could be cheaper in local outlets. Have made a formal complaint to Jetline admin team about gratuity being collected at the outset but have had no response to date. We will think twice about booking future holidays through Jetline Holidays.

Be very careful when using this company

I received an email form Daily Mail holidays, it had some good deals on it. I chose a couple of them, filled in my details and emailed the form to Jetline, which was the holiday company these deals were with I waited a couple of days, after hearing nothing I called Jetline. I spoke to one of their customer assistants (who I won’t name here) it was one of the hardest calls I’ve ever made. She couldn’t understand what I was saying, I had to repeat my selve numerous times. Finally I thought everything was understood, the lady said she would email me my holiday quote. A while later I received an email from said lady, but all it was, was a page from their online brochure with the hotel I had enquired about. After spending all that time on the phone, explaining what I wanted, dates, airports, transfers etc I was just sent the hotel page from their website. What was the point of me calling in the first place I called Jetline back the next day and spoke to the same lady, explaining what had happened. She apologised and said she would send the revised quote with all my requirements in 20mins It is now 3 days since that last call and surprise surprise, I haven’t received a thing from Jetline If this is how the company conducts itself before even booking a holiday, I can’t imagine the trouble you’d be in if something went wrong or you needed their help with any problem. Subsequently to this happening, I found out they had resigned from ABTA, but still belong to ATOL. Very dubious, I must say All I can say is,take care people when using this company

Sadly I can only give 3 stars due to the strange communication and odd situation regarding my booking. I booked a trip to Krakow in May including flights, accommodation and transfers. No immediate confirmation was forthcoming so I was a bit worried as I had paid in full. I subsequently received a telephone call to say that my flights had had to be cancelled as Jetline were no longer able to book these on my behalf and the rep asked if I could rebook them myself which I did. He said that I would get a refund for the flights already paid for in a matter of days. However, 10 days later I am still waiting and have been told it will be another 7-8 days before my credit card is refunded. As I have now forked out twice for the flights and my credit card bill is due, I am rather unhappy about Jetline having use of my money in the meantime and for taking so long to refund. The lack of an immediate booking confirmation and subsequent accurate information given to me was concerning. Therefore, I would say book with Jetline with caution as this is the second time I have booked a holiday with them (there was a problem the first time too) and thought I would give them another chance, but am unlikely to use them again.

Jetline holiday to Italy in March

I recently enjoyed a 1 week holiday to Venice and Rome booked via Jetline. The holiday included flights, a train journey to Rome plus a sightseeing tour. The holiday was excellent value and we were very happy with the overall experience. I am a middle aged woman, travelling with my teenage daughter and my mother. Both customer service representatives were flexible in helping to build a two centre holiday even though I questioned their recommendations. They were also quick to respond to queries and issues. The 3-star hotel in Venice was ideally located near San Marco Square and more than met our needs. The 3-star hotel in Rome was also well located close to good local restaurants. To note is that the representatives kept contacting me to secure the sale. I was sent all the documentation separately and I had to complete the online airline bookings. I chose to pay for extra luggage. I was concerned about the Wizz Air return flight as their online system did not work, however the actual flight and baggage reclaim were very smooth. There were also extra tourist taxes to pay at each hotel of a few euros per person per night, which I was not prepared for. The hotel in Rome was in need of refurbishment. Unfortunately we arrived late and missed the tour but it was a nice extra which was thrown in. We had a fabulous time in both locations. The weather was good and we visited before the peak season so missed the huge crowds. At this price the customer has to do a little more of the organising but well worth it.

Watch out for the ‘extra’s’…

The service was ok but I did not like the multitude of costs added on. The initial price quoted escalated by some £350:and would have gone on if I hadn’t said ‘no’ Booking process was lengthy but efficient. Hopefully all will go well with our much needed break.

Correct - 8 years and almost 200 complaints on TA forums. If I had researched them upfront, like I always do, and saw this, I would have stayed very far away.....

A ‘package holiday’ as you have found does not necessarily these days include checked luggage, inflight meals, transfers or rep service. You very much have to see what is offered when comparing holidays.

You are more likely to receive more traditional inclusions if you pick a traditional tour operator like TUI, Jet2 etc. Jetline are offering travel components, self selected, to create a travel arrangement rather than a traditional package.

I don’t think Jetline hide these costs. You just need to pay attention and read what you are selecting and buying (or not buying).

If it were not this way everyone would book a trip at an unpopular time of year and then switch to a more popular time at no cost!

If it's the amount that annoys you,ask for a breakdown of each element and see if that info makes any difference as there is probably more to it than just flights .

I would never use them by the way. I am not defending them, just saying that its nothing unusual at all.

Review of Jetline Vacations

I would stay away from this company – unless you like having to check everything carefully, flying by the seat of your pants not sure what is going on, wondering what is next due to lack of communication, and paying much more because of shady practices, omissions, and poor communication.

These are the main issues/problems I had with Jetline Vacations:

Sloppy or Incorrect Information/Paperwork:

• Had to carefully check everything as Jetline was sloppy with their paperwork. For example: on my confirmation it showed the dates of the excursions as a day off.

• My paperwork said that my cruise ship was going to be the Celestyal Experience Room 4048 – and I even called to confirm this because it said Experience in some places, and in other places it said the Celestyal Crystal. Jetline assured me it would be the Experience (which is a newer ship than the Crystal). So, my driver is driving around trying to find the Experience, but only the Crystal is at port. Finally, we drove up to the Crystal and sure enough, my ship was the Crystal and not the Experience. I ended up in Celestyal Crystal Room 3109 – not the newer ship.

• My flight information said my air carrier was Air Canada. However, it failed to mention that Luftsansia was my carrier returning. Air Canada was only on the departing carrier. On another document from Jetline, it said my airline would be “Picasso Flights ”, whoever that is.

Planning Mistakes/Inconveniences:

• Jetline reserved my transfer pickup from the hotel to the cruise line at the same time the cruise was departing. Thankfully, I caught it in time and had to contact the transfer provider to get picked up earlier in the day, otherwise I would have missed the boat--literally.

• For some reason, my vacation deal did not include transfers from the airport to the hotel. It only provided transfers from the hotel to the cruise ship (and the times Jetline booked for pickup were wrong). I would have expected to have that included. I realized that at the last minute and was scrambling to find a company to provide that service.

• Jetline did not provide any information about luggage requirements – so I called Jetline and they told me that I could have a standard piece and a carryon free of charge. When I got to the airport, there was nothing in my record to indicate that, so I was charged for my checked piece $70 each way.

• The hotel that Jetline booked me in was adequate, but the location was kinda scary. As a solo female traveler, I had to walk past vagrants lying on the sidewalk with graffiti and trash everywhere. Not to mention the smell...

• No itinerary of the cruise ports of call, times in each port, etc. was provided by Jetline. I requested it, but I guess Jetline must have forgotten. I ended up going to the cruise line itself who did provide an itinerary, but they were reluctant as that “should have been provided by your travel company”.

• When my cruise ship came to port at the end of the cruise , my ride did not pick me up. I waited a half hour past the supposed time of pickup and finally, at my own cost, got a taxi to get me to my hotel. I only had one day in Athens, so didn’t want to miss out on time I could be seeing things there.

Poor Communication:

• When the cruise ship cancelled their bookings in 2021, I was only about a month out from the date of departure, and I had to contact the cruise line myself to confirm what was going on. Jetline didn’t provide that information in a timely manner. Jetline obviously was not monitoring the situation with the cruise lines.

• There was basically no information from Jetline regarding Covid requirements. All I got was an email that said to Google Covid requirements for the country visited. You were pretty much on your own.

• There has been no follow-up from Jetline after the vacation. No email saying hope your vacation was a success, hope to see you again, etc., etc.

Dubious Business Practices:

• Due to Covid, my original date for this vacation was rescheduled. When it was rescheduled, suddenly now I have to pay an additional $1,000 due to no fault of my own.

• Both when I booked originally and when it was rescheduled due to Covid, Jetline plays a game where for the original price quoted (the better price), you have to fly with an 8 hour layover. Then, Jetline puts you on hold and comes back with a better connection time for quite a bit more money.

I had to deal with a lot of these issues on my first day in Athens (changing time for transfer to cruise ship, etc. ) keeping me from actually relaxing and enjoying my first day in the city.

I figure it cost me about $300 more due to cost of luggage Jetline told me would be included, transfers to and from the airport to the hotel, and the additional cost of a taxi from the cruise ship to the hotel. Not to mention the $1,000 it cost for having to reschedule due to the cruise lines cancelling the original cruise due to Covid.

Custome service is shocking. Paul Marchent is rude and arrogant and not customer focused. Doesn't care if you have a good holiday or not. Whilst on the phone he informed me he had to go due to an emergency??!! Says it all......... I have now provided you with ref number and my details I will await your call Update. Nobody bothered contacting me, Paul Marchent has no idea whatsoever so have now started section 75 with credit card company as Paul thinks Jetline are not responsible when infact they definitely are as my contract is with them.

Just returned from an amazing holiday booked through jetliner cruises. Imran was amazing every step of our booking. Unfortunately BA cancelled our flight the day before we were due to come home. They booked us on a non direct flight instead. They were not helpful and did not answer any emails. I didn’t think to contact Jetline. However Gemma from Jetline Cruise contacted us she had seen the change in flight told us she didn’t think it acceptable and had got us onto a direct flight. I am very impressed with the efficiency and service provided. Thank you Gemma and Imran. I will definitely use Jetline Cruises again and have already recommended them

Concern with booking

Received confirmation after phoning 2-3 times . Notice a few things incorrect so spoke to them again, was told to ring customer service. Which I did very helpful girl Gemma who sorted out the problems hopefully as we booked for our 50th anniversary so do not want any more problems 😞

Poor service and product knowledge

Booked a fly cruise holiday. On confirmation invoice there was no mention of any baggage allowance. BA website useless, and Van at Jetline didn't know (but assumed none). Jetline took no ownership and left me to chase around with BA and the cruise company who told me allowance was 23kg. Jetline should have known at the outset, or at the very least found out for me. Poor service.

Last year we booked with Jetline , and had wonderful service from a guy called Tom, Who could not do enough for us. This year we got someone else , who was happy to sell us the holiday , but then started getting really pushy and not as helpful , when he first tried to sell the holiday. Found that a bit sad. I did originally ask for Tom, but unfortunately he was not available. All in all , I would book again through Jetline, and hope that we get service like the first time .

Holland America Line Set to Debut New ‘Glacier Day’ and Enhanced Alaska-Focused Experiences on Every Alaska Cruise in 2024

Culinary highlights include Alaska dishes by Fresh Fish Ambassador Chef Morimoto and new Alaska-themed cocktails by acclaimed bartender Sam Ross

Seattle, Wash., April, 17, 2024 — Holland America Line is debuting “Glacier Day” on its Alaska cruises as it rolls out new programming within its "We Love Alaska” on board experience. The new offerings include Alaska Up Close presentations as well as culinary and beverage experiences to help foster a deeper connection to the people, history and culture of the state. The 2024 season kicks off April 27 from Vancouver and May 4 from Seattle. 

“Holland America Line continues to focus on bringing regional and local experiences on board every cruise, with our Alaska sailings leading the way in authentic programming, localized cuisine, and now special events like ‘Glacier Day’,” said Beth Bodensteiner, chief commercial officer of Holland America Line. “We continue to cultivate like-minded partnerships and fine-tune everything from cocktails to wildlife maps to ensure our guests are completely immersed in all facets of Alaska.”

Alaska Season Itineraries and Cruisetours

Through September 2024, guests can embark on Holland America Line’s Alaska cruises and Cruisetours from Vancouver and Seattle aboard Eurodam, Koningsdam, Nieuw Amsterdam, Noordam, Westerdam and Zaandam. In addition to seven-day itineraries, guests can take longer 14-day cruises and a new 28-day Arctic Circle Solstice Legendary Voyage that includes 12 Alaska ports.

Cruisetours range from nine to 18 days and include a one-, two- or three-day visit to Denali National Park. Select Cruisetours also include a journey into the wilds of Canada’s Yukon. Holland America Line remains the only cruise line that offers overland tours to the Yukon combined with an Alaska cruise and Denali experience.

‘Glacier Day’ Puts a Spotlight on Alaska’s Majestic Glaciers

As a leader in Alaska cruising, Holland America Line offers more glacier experiences than any other cruise line. The new Glacier Day includes sighting times, scenic commentary, presentations, informational viewing stations, photo opportunities, Dutch Pea Soup on deck, Glacier Ice cocktails, insightful talks by Glacier Bay National Park Rangers and Huna cultural interpreters, an open bow for viewing, and more.

Every Alaska cruise includes a visit to one or more of Alaska’s iconic glacier destinations: Glacier Bay National Park , Hubbard Glacier , Dawes Glacier , and the Twin Sawyer Glaciers of Tracy Arm . Shore excursions also offer the opportunity to visit additional glaciers, including Mendenhall and Portage glaciers.

Serving Fresh Fish in Alaska

Holland America continues to build on its groundbreaking Global Fresh Fish program, which includes being the only cruise line with Alaska seafood certified sustainable by the Responsible Fisheries Management (RFM) and bringing locally sourced fresh fish from port to plate in less than 48 hours. In addition to the seafood and other local delicacies served on the menus, ships in Alaska will serve three exclusive dishes created by the brand’s Fresh Fish Ambassador Chef Morimoto: Fresh Black Cod Yuzu, Morimoto Epice Lobster and Fresh Halibut XO.

A new Alaska Seafood Boil will be offered once per cruise in Lido Market for a surcharge. The foodie feast will serve Ivar’s Northwest-Style Clam Chowder, Dungeness Cruise Clusters, Alaska Salmon, Penn Cove Clams, Penn Cove Mussels and a Shrimp Bucket, with Triple Berry Crisp and vanilla ice cream for dessert.

Offered once per cruise, all dishes on the Alaska Brunch menu in the Dining Room were created with the influence of fresh, local Alaskan and Pacific Northwest ingredients. The selections range from sweet to savory and include Alaskan Blueberry Pancakes, Salmon & Potato Chowder, Wild Forest Mushroom and Tarragon Crepes, Kodiak Steak and Egg Skillet, Crab and Hot Smoked Salmon Cakes, Biscuits with Gravy and Alaskan Reindeer Sausage, and Home Smoked Gulf of Alaska Cod Benny.

Bartender Sam Ross Creates Alaska Cocktails

Acclaimed bartender Sam Ross created a menu of exclusive cocktails that will be featured in the bars on all Alaska ships: Juneau AK, Klondiker, PNW Penicillin, Mosquito, Midnight Sun and Frontier Champagne Flip. Ross was the 2011 “U.S. Bartender of the Year” and his flagship bar, Attaboy, won the 2022 award for “Best Bar in the U.S.” by The World’s 50 Best Bars. Ross is credited with creating two of the most famous modern classic cocktails: Penicillin and Paper Plane.

New Exclusive ‘Killer Whale Pale Ale’ Available On Board

Holland America Line is debuting a new “Killer Whale Pale Ale” on all Alaska cruises. The beer was produced in collaboration with Pike Brewing – Seattle’s oldest craft brewery – and features notes of honey, citrus and tropical fruits. The label artwork was created in collaboration with Native Artist Rico Worl , a member of the Tlingit and Athabascan community, who also designed the Native artwork featured on the Alaska menus. The Killer Whale Pale Ale label represents the food chain in the Pacific Northwest, with a seal deftly maneuvering out of the grasp of a killer whale.

More Wildlife Viewing than Any Other Cruise Line

Alaska is synonymous with stunning wilderness, and Holland America Line offers more ways to see wildlife in its natural habitat. Alaska ships carry an expert on board to help guests witness the majestic animals found in the region, and a Wildlife Spotting Guide points out the native animals found along the cruise route and includes a map with the best places to see each species. Ashore, Holland America Line offers nearly 180 shore excursions to see species of all kinds.

On Deck for a Cause Continues to Support Alaska’s Parks

Holland America Line will continue to donate proceeds from its “On Deck for a Cause” charitable event aboard ships in the region to Alaska Geographic , the nonprofit education partner of Alaska’s parks, forests, refuges and conservation lands. Called “On Deck for a Cause: Alaska’s Parks,” guests on all Alaska cruises will be invited to donate $25 to participate in a noncompetitive 5K fundraising walk aboard every sailing. Funds raised through “On Deck for a Cause: Alaska’s Parks” will go to support education, science and research in Alaska’s parks. The 2023 Alaska season raised more than $100,000 for Alaska Geographic.

Standby Program Offers Reduced Rates for Seattle and Vancouver Cruises

Guests with easy access to Seattle or Vancouver have an opportunity to cruise to Alaska at a reduced rate of $49 per person, per day with Holland America Line’s Standby program. Travelers who sign up for a cruise are alerted between seven and two days before departure if they will be sailing. Solo cruisers also only pay $49 per day and do not incur a single supplement for a double stateroom.

Halloween and Holiday Disney Cruises Fall 2024

Halloween on the High Seas and Very Merrytime Cruises for fall 2024 will be available to book starting June 26th, 2023. Next year’s available itineraries will even include rare options to sail to Hawaii and the South Pacific, along with Disney’s newest island in The Bahamas, Lighthouse Point !

Halloween on the High Seas will return from mid-September through October 2024 with special entertainment, Halloween costumes, and even a magical Pumpkin Tree! You’ll be able to celebrate on the Disney Wish from Port Canaveral, Florida, or on the Disney Fantasy through the Bahamas. Select sailings on the Disney Magic and Disney Fantasy will even take you to Lighthouse Point.

From mid-November through December 2024, the Disney Cruise Line fleet will be decked out with holiday cheer for the Very Merrytime Cruises. These cruises will include holiday decorations, characters in festive attire, and themed activities for guests to enjoy. You can check out the entire Fall 2024 itinerary list (along with early 2025 options) below!

Special Sailings to Hawaii and the South Pacific

Along with Halloween and Holiday Disney Cruises, you can experience a trip to Hawaii and the South Pacific on the Disney Wonder in late 2024! The Disney Wonder will sail from Vancouver, Canada to Honolulu, Hawaii in late September, with stops on the islands of Kauai, Maui, and Hawaii before arriving in Oahu. Then, from Hawaii, teh Disney Wonder will embark on a voyage to Sydney, Austrailia, with stops including Fiji, American Samoa, and New Caledonia.
