Taylor Swift announces Australian tour dates with top tickets going for more than $1,200

Blond woman in sparkly top points at camera against purple backdrop

Swifties waiting with bated breath have had their prayers answered, with Taylor Swift finally revealing the Australian dates on her Eras world concert tour.

The pop star will be journeying down under for five dates in February 2024.

However, Swift fans on a budget might be in store for a Cruel Summer as the top VIP packages are being sold for $1,249.99 .

For reference, the most recent ATO data from 2020-2021 puts the median Australian taxable income at  $980 per week .

The top VIP package, officially known as the It's Been A Long Time Coming package secures fans "One Unforgettable A Reserve Floor Ticket", four prints of the artist, a tote bag, a pin, a tour lanyard and a sticker and postcard set.

The other five VIP packages contain identical extras but gradually worsening seats from B Reserve to E Reserve and cost from $349.99 and $899.90 .

An A Reserve ticket by itself is $379.90 – a difference of $870 from the VIP package with the same ticket tier.

More wallet-conscious Swift fans can pay between $309.90 for B Reserve tickets down to $79.90 for a spot in the G reserve seats in the nosebleeds.

Last time Swift took a tour of Australia in 2018, the top VIP packages set fans back about $820 and included a personal message from Swift, a hardcover book and a CD.

Taylor Swift told her 112 million Instagram followers that she was voting for the Democrats.

Which Australian cities are on Taylor Swift's Eras tour?

In terms of how many cities she's visiting, the tour is pretty small.

Swift won't even complete a full east coast tour for her Australian Eras leg, stopping only at Sydney for three nights and Melbourne for two nights .

This is the first time Swift has skipped Brisbane in five tour cycles.

She played in Brisbane and Perth when she came to Australia last time, which was her Reputation tour back in 2018.

How many tickets will go on sale?

We don't have exact figures.

The capacity for the MCG, where Swift is performing two Melbourne shows, is more than 100,000 people .

Sydney's Accor stadium, where she will be playing three shows, has a capacity of 83,500 .

Which means there could be some 450,000 tickets up for sale.

Having a truncated Australian tour means Swift won't come near the record of most tickets sold for an Australian tour after Ed Sheeran shifted over 1 million tickets to his 2018 divide tour.

Sheeran performed 18 stadium shows across the country to achieve the feat.

How do you get tickets to Taylor Swift's Australian Eras tour?

Judging by the reaction to tickets for the US, it might be a tricky feat getting your hands on one.

In November last year, Ticketmaster cancelled the public sale of Swift's US tour "due to extraordinarily high demands on ticketing systems and insufficient remaining ticket inventory to meet that demand".

Ticketmaster pinned it on its "verified fans" system , aimed at eliminating bots and scalpers, which couldn't keep up with the demand as a reported 3.5 million people tried to get tickets.

Swift's Australian Eras tour doesn't rely on the verified fans system but if you're forking out hundreds for the VIP packages you will be able to access tickets sooner.

The first tickets go on pre-sale on June 26 , but there are a few catches.

To access these tickets you have to hold an American Express card and fork out for one of the top two VIP packages — so, the most expensive tickets.

The Frontier Member pre-sale , which has a much lower bar of entry, begins on June 28 and finally, the general public will be able to buy tickets from 2pm local time on June 30 .

However, If you manage to get your hands on tickets next week, you're not going to receive anything until a week before your show.

This is called ticket suppression and it aims to dissuade scalpers from buying up tickets and reselling them.

There's also a purchase limit of four tickets per transaction.

Is Taylor Swift’s VIP Eras Tour Package Worth It? A Breakdown

The most expensive package is $899 — before tax and fees!

Raise your hand if you also blacked out while trying to get tickets to Taylor Swift’s Eras tour , because it was a trying time for every Swiftie out there. Not only was Ticketmaster’s virtual queue a mess, but once you finally got through it, you were also faced with one of the most stressful steps of the process: trying to actually secure your ticket. With tickets being snatched up left and right, you may have just bought whatever was available at the time. If that was a VIP ticket, you might be wondering now, is Taylor Swift’s VIP Eras tour package worth it? Let’s break it down.

First of all, VIP packages are nothing new for a Taylor Swift tour. For many artists, VIP packages include a meet and greet and merch, along with some of the best seats in the venue for the show. However, fans know that Swift is one of the few artists who doesn’t offer paid meet and greets . Since meeting Swift is not part of the package, it’s fair to wonder what could be worth hundreds of dollars — which is how much these VIP packages go for.

I was lucky enough to receive a VIP package to Swift’s Reputation tour for Christmas in 2017. Since it was a present, I didn’t personally spend the money on the package, but my sister made it very clear she didn’t think it was worth the splurge. Now that the Eras tour VIP packages are starting to arrive in the mail, Swifties are on the fence about whether they’re worth their price as well. If you had to determine if they fall under the cop or drop category, some may lean towards drop and regret. However, Jordan Walker ( @fairytaleswift ) — who was at one of the Glendale Eras Tour shows — told Elite Daily it was “so worth it.”

How Much Are Taylor Swift VIP Tickets For The Eras Tour?

Taylor Swift performing at a concert, which has Taylor Swift VIP tickets.

Before you can even consider whether or not Taylor Swift VIP tickets are worth it for you, it helps to determine if they’re even in your budget. According to Variety , the VIP packages for The Eras Tour range from $199 to $899. Here is a breakdown of each Eras Tour VIP tier and its price:

  • “It's A Love Story Package” — $199
  • “...ready for it Package” — $449
  • “I Remember It All Too Well Package” — $559
  • “Karma Is My Boyfriend Package” — $749
  • “It's Been A Long Time Coming Package” — $899

That’s actually not that bad compared to the Reputation tour. For that, Ticket Crusader reports that VIP packages ranged from $495 to $895 and my sister and I had the $495 tickets — aka the “Kingdom Keys Package.” Walker ended up getting the second-highest “Karma Is My Boyfriend Package” for both her and her mom.

Seats & Merch For Taylor Swift VIP Packages For The Eras Tour

A Swiftie unboxes the Taylor Swift Eras Tour VIP packages.

All Eras Tour VIP packages get the same exact merch whether you’re paying $199 or $899. Let’s compare what I got for the Reputation tour versus what’s in the Eras Tour merch package. I received the following:

  • A seat in the lower bowl section of the stadium
  • A collectible box with an exclusive video message from Swift built in
  • A Reputation book with exclusive photos and poetry from Swift
  • An LED VIP tour laminate to wear to the show
  • A commemorative ticket with a display case
  • A reputation stadium tour patch
  • A copy of the Reputation CD

The Eras Tour merch includes:

  • A reserved seat
  • A special edition set of four Swift prints, and each set “contains a hand-numbered print designed specifically for your show and city”
  • A commemorative Eras Tour VIP tote bag
  • A collectible Taylor Swift pin
  • A collectible Taylor Swift sticker
  • A collectible Taylor Swift postcard set
  • A souvenir concert ticket

Comparing the two tours, the merch inside each box is pretty much the same. Similar to the three Reputation tour packages, the only thing that separates the five different Eras Tour tiers is where your seat is located. The two most expensive packages — Karma Is My Boyfriend Package and It's Been A Long Time Coming Package — are on the floor and come with additional perks. Those, according to Walker, were “separate merch stands, along with early entrance, and access to seats a bit before non-VIP.” The VIP merch booths were supposed to be crowd-free, but Walker told Elite Daily the lines were still long and she had to wait about 40 minutes in total. That includes going to different merch stands to find items that were sold out at others.

Another VIP Swiftie with floor seats, Izzy Mendoza ( @izzy618 ), told Elite Daily they only had to wait about 20-30 minutes. While there is no exclusive VIP merch at these special booths, you may be able to avoid extremely long lines by going to them instead of the general ones. That may make the price of the ticket worth it if saving some time before the show is important to you.

You just have to justify whether spending close to $1000 per ticket, which is around what the floor tickets cost with all of Ticketmaster’s fees and taxes, is reasonable for shorter lines. Since I’m someone who just recently realized there was a Reputation book at the bottom of my VIP package box , I’m clearly in it for the seats rather than the merch.

What’s The View From VIP Taylor Swift Tickets?

Izzy is a Swiftie who bought the VIP package for Taylor Swift's Eras Tour, and explains why it was w...

You would expect the Eras Tour VIP package seats to be some of the best in the house, but where you’re located — especially on the floor — can make a huge difference. For anyone who is VIP with floor tickets, you better hope you’re not standing behind someone taller than you. Something you also don’t think about until you’re there is that everyone is trying to capture the best video to post on TikTok. “Always remind yourself that people love to put their phone up high to record,” Mendoza warned.

Hats are another thing you don’t expect to have to deal with, but remember a lot of people are going to use the Eras Tour as a chance to dress like they just got invited to the Met Gala. As much as you’ll love seeing someone dressed up as a willow tree before the show, sitting behind them won’t be as pleasant.

Both Walker and Mendoza mentioned there were parts of the show they couldn’t see from the floor. Walker didn’t mind, though, and shared that Swift “was so close most of the night.” When she wasn’t, the screens in the stadium allowed them to see everything else.

TikToker @bickybui also mentioned not being able to see the cool lighting and effects that happen on the stage from the floor, which can only be seen from above. Mendoza said that while this was their second time on the floor, sitting on the first tier of the stadium is better if you want to “see every detail of the show.” The Eras Tour has some intricate sets you may have to watch back on TikTok later if you can’t see them IRL.

Are Taylor Swift’s VIP Eras Tour Packages Worth It?

A Swiftie opens one of the Taylor Swift Eras Tour VIP boxes, which some fans think is not worth it.

Ultimately, I don’t think anyone should have to spend close to $1000 to see a concert. The idea of collectible merch is exciting, but as some fans have pointed out, the Eras VIP merch is nothing to write home about. TikToker @louissuspenders was the first to share the Eras tour VIP package on TikTok, which many fans were disappointed in seeing. It looks like everything mentioned was included, like the pin, postcards, prints, and tote bag. However, the box itself doesn’t appear to be as high quality as previous ones.

When asked if she thought the VIP merch was worth the $900 price tag, Walker said, “Not necessarily, but I love what was sent.” Putting things into perspective, Walker revealed that it was her first experience with the package, saying, “I was happy to get the chance to even be VIP.”

Walker, who had the second most expensive package, said, “I truly think it was so worth it. It was an incredible experience. She did a phenomenal job.” The overall VIP ticket was worth it for both Swifties. According to Mendoza, VIP is something that every Swiftie should be able to experience at least once.

Jordan Walker shares whether she thinks Taylor Swift's VIP Eras tour package is worth the $899 price...

I have to agree that being a VIP for one of Swift’s shows is something every fan should try to check off their Taylor Swift bucket list — if they can. The “if you can” is important. It’s possible to have just as much fun and see more from nosebleed seats that are within your budget as well. Considering Ticketmaster canceled the public sale to Swift’s Eras tour , just having something should be celebrated.

Even from my seat in the last row at SoFi Stadium, I’m going to have the best time shaking it off and cry-singing to “All Too Well (10 Minute Version)” as if I’m in the front row. And for anyone who is actually in the front row and managed to snag some VIP tickets, I — and probably many other Swifties — will be watching your concert footage on TikTok after the show.

Taylor Swift Australia tour: Everything you need to know ahead of Frontier Touring’s presale event today

Look what you’ve made us do Taylor Swift.

The beloved pop star is returning to Australia next year for five massive shows – two of which will be the biggest audiences of her career – and today fans will have their second chance, following the American Express pre-sale, at securing pre-sale tickets,

But with well over one million people signed up for Frontier Touring’s presale event and only 450,000 tickets available across the five Australian shows, with an unknown percentage available in the presale today, it’s guaranteed that many fans will be in for a cruel summer.

Regardless of the odds rivalling the hunger games, fans are gearing up for a stressful lunchbreak as they try to make their wildest dreams come true first at midday and secondly at 4pm.

Taking to TikTok, many are sharing tips on the best ways to secure tickets, while others are sharing the extent they are going to to make sure they have the best chance possible.

One person shared a screenshot with followers where she appeared to ask her boss permission to use her phone during work hours, “I am buying Taylor Swift concert ticket tomorrow and the sale starts at 10am (12pm NZT) in the morning. I need your permission to use my phone. I won’t be using it the whole time.”

She went on to explain that she is “very desperate” to get the tickets and said the presale will start around the same time as her break for the day. Her understanding boss replied “good luck hunting your first concert ticket”.

Elsewhere a fan shared a screenshot of her work calendar for the day showing she has blocked out an hour to make sure she has no meetings during the presale event. The calendar event reads “pls don’t book me in for a meeting I will be booking Taylor Swift ticket and probably crying.”

Another fan took it to a larger extreme and revealed she has requested a day off work so she can partake in the presale. She told fans in a TikTok video, “the humiliation of having to request a day off work with the reason being ‘Taylor Swift tickets presale’”.

Many fans supported the woman’s decision with one person writing in the comment section, “my manager is v supportive because she doesn’t want to deal with me if I don’t get tickets” another said, “I just blocked my calendar for the whole afternoon”, a third person said, “I told my manager I ‘had an important meeting’.”

If you’re a Swiftie competing for presale tickets today, here is everything you need to know:

What are the odds of getting tickets?

For any Swifties wanting to get their hands on one of the 450,000 tickets, Marie Claire revealed that after combining the Australian and New Zealand populations, there is a 1.4 per cent chance of securing a ticket.

And while it sounds like a scarily low number, they are significantly better odds than what Americans faced. With 336 million Americans battling for 2.6 million tickets, it was estimated that only 0.77 per cent of fans (per capita) secured tickets.

How to get tickets

If you missed out on the American Express Australia presale on Monday – which saw the website experience outages 30 minutes before the sale even began – never fear. You have at least two more chances to take part in the great war.

Members of Frontier Touring will be able to access a VIP presale from Wednesday, June 28. The Sydney shows will go on sale at 10am (12pm NZT) while tickets for the Melbourne shows will go on sale at 2pm (4pm NZT).

To access the sale, fans will need to register with Frontier and receive a personalised code which needs to be entered to access the presale. The sale will last 24 hours, or until the allocation is exhausted and only includes tickets for the VIP packages.

There is a restriction of four tickets per person.

Speaking to news.com , a spokesperson for Ticketek said “Queuing is a necessary part of the purchasing process. A way of ensuring fair access to tickets for all fans.

“Fans must remember to not leave the Lounge page or refresh their browser. The page will refresh itself frequently to let more fans through to purchase. Once fans are in the Lounge, they should sit tight and wait to be let through to the event page. And then once they’re through they need to remember to keep an eye on the timer and complete their purchase within the time frame.”

What if I miss out?

If you miss out on presale tickets, don’t enter your anti-hero era just yet. There is still one more official opportunity to get your hands on tickets to one of Swift’s five shows.

The general sale – which is open to anybody – will begin on Friday, June 30 with Sydney tickets available from 10am (12pm NZT) and Melbourne tickets on sale from 2pm (4pm NZT).

And finally, if you aren’t a part of the 1.4 per cent of people who managed to get tickets through any of the three sale events, keep an eye on the Ticketek website because even though it feels more impossible than not crying during All Too Well (10-minute version), sometimes resales are your only way into the Swiftie filled arena.

Why do I have to go to Australia?

Swift has visited Aotearoa three times before, first in 2012 as part of her Speak Now Tour, the second in 2013 as part of The Red Tour and most recently in 2018 as part of her Reputation Tour but unfortunately it was announced last week that her Eras Tour will not come to New Zealand.

Speaking to the Herald , a well-placed insider believes Swift’s snub isn’t due to bad blood with NZ but rather two more innocent reasons. “Why isn’t she coming? Is it because of the stage size? Or is it because Kiwis are losing their love of live music?”

Using Pink as an example, the insider said that the singer’s three NZ shows - taking place in Auckland and Dunedin between March 5 and 9 next year - are yet to sell out.

“We can do big shows here, but can we?” they said.

The industry insider went on to claim that the lack of ticket sales could be more of a reason for the snub than the stage size. “People [musicians] come here and they can’t financially make it work. How many shows does Taylor Swift have to sell before she starts covering her costs? How many crew is she travelling with?” they said.

“There are some shows on that scale that they have to sell out the first two before the promoter even starts making money.”

But they also admitted stage size could be a massive reason for the snub. Swift’s Eras Tour stage is reportedly 75 metres long with an additional 10m backstage space. Eden Park - New Zealand’s largest stadium - comes in at 109m, meaning if the Eras tour visited the grounds, there would be little room for an audience.

Ticket scalping and purchasing resale tickets

Do not purchase tickets from anywhere other than the official ticketing agency.

Please read the  Live Performance Australia Safe Tix Guide .

We have not allocated any tickets for the Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour to unauthorised resellers (which include but are not limited to Viagogo; Stubhub; Ticketfinders; The Ticket Merchant; Worldticketshop; and Tixel).

We cannot guarantee any ticket purchased through unauthorised resellers or via websites such as eBay, Gumtree and social media Buy Swap Sell pages. To make sure you pay the correct ticket price and receive valid tickets, you must purchase via Ticketek Australia.

Frontier and Ticketek are not responsible for unauthorised ticket disputes and are unable to assist you if you purchase outside the official ticketing agency (Ticketek Australia).

What is unethical secondary ticketing and ticket resale?

Unethical secondary ticketing is when people buy tickets at face value and then resell them at inflated prices via unapproved methods and websites, thus denying real fans the chance to buy at face value.

This includes ticket touts and unauthorised resellers who use multiple payment cards, false identities and sophisticated computer programmes (‘bots’) to buy up large amounts of tickets which they then offer for resale at highly inflated prices.

How do I safely sell my tickets?

The reselling of any Taylor Swift | The Eras Tour ticket is strictly forbidden other than through Ticketek's official resale platform (called Ticketek Marketplace). Ticketek Marketplace is accessible HERE .

Ticketek Marketplace opened for the listing and resale of tickets at 10am AEDT on Friday 24 November 2023 and is available up until12pm AEDT on the show date for all tickets except VIP Packages and Hotel + Ticket Packages.

What else are you doing to combat the secondary market?

Your mobile phone number is linked to your ticket order. Your tickets are linked to both your Ticketek account AND your mobile phone number. This means your ticket and the individual information you gave when you purchased your ticket are linked. If a ticket is resold in any method other than via Ticketek's official resale platform, then the mobile phone number will not be linked to the ticket(s) and you will be refused entry to the venue.

What do I do if I get to the venue and believe I have purchased a fraudulent ticket?

If you have purchased tickets from anywhere other than the authorised ticketing agency, Ticketek, or their resale platform, Ticketek Marketplace, you risk not being granted entry to the venue. If you have any issues with your ticket on show day, please head directly to the venue Box Office. Please note, Box Office staff cannot assist those who may have obtained tickets through channels other than Ticketek or Ticketek Marketplace. You must have valid photo ID which matches the name of the Ticketek account for the Box Office staff to be able to assist you.

Melbourne Cricket Ground’s Box Office can be found at Gate 3 on the Northern side of the ground and at Gate 6 on the Shane Warne Stand side.

Accor Stadium’s Box Office can be found at Gates A/B and Gates J/K.

Taylor Swift arrived in Sydney with surprises in store!

On night one of the tour in New South Wales, the "Cruel Summer" singer delivered her usually enchanting setlist and brought out her opening act, Sabrina Carpenter for a duet during the acoustic portion of the concert.

Swift also treated her Aussie crowd of 81,000 fans to a big reveal, announcing a new alternate cover of her upcoming album, The Tortured Poets Department , and an accompanying bonus track titled "The Albatross."

Backstage, the 14-time Grammy winner posed for photos with old friends  Katy Perry and Rita Ora , who watched the show from the VIP tent alongside Super Bowl champion and Swift's all-star boyfriend Travis Kelce .

During her acoustic set of the evening, the "All Too Well" singer dropped more news about her highly anticipated 11th studio album, The Tortured Poets Department . Swift revealed another edition of the record , with new cover art and another bonus track title.

More Music Ahead

"This edition is called ' The Albatross ' because there is an exclusive bonus song on this vinyl called 'The Albatross,' and I can't wait for you to hear it," Swift shared over the roaring audience, per a video shared on X (formerly known as Twitter).

Through the Eras

Swift announced her new album at the 2024 Grammy Awards in February, where she picked up two golden gramophones, including a historic win in the album of the year category .

During her acceptance speech for best pop vocal album, the "Anti-Hero" songstress revealed the title of her latest project, which she described as "a secret that I've been keeping from you for the last two years."

After teasing "The Albatross," Swift sang a duet with her opener, Sabrina Carpenter, who wasn't able to perform due to pre-show rain and a nearby lightning strike .

"My incredibly talented, wonderful, gorgeous, hilarious, genius opening act  Sabrina Carpenter , she heroically sacrificed her show, which I think is a crime against Sydney," Swift said moments before Carpenter joined her at the piano. "And I think it needs to be fixed, so I'm going to bring her out now, is that OK, Sydney?"

Nice to Have a Friend

The blonde pair harmonized their way through a medley of Swift's songs "White Horse" and "Coney Island."

Guests Galore

Rita Ora/Instagram

Before Swift opened the show with hits from her album Lover , she met up with some fellow music industry stars Katy Perry and Rita Ora, who brought her husband Taika Waititi .

Ora posted several snaps from the evening, showing off her arm stacked with friendship bracelets and posing with Perry in the VIP tent. In another photo, Ora smiled alongside Super Bowl champion — and super supportive boyfriend —  Travis Kelce .

Katy Perry/Instagram

Perry shared a particularly sweet selfie with Swift on Instagram. "got to see an old friend shine tonight ♥️✨," the  American Idol  judge captioned her carousel of photos and video footage from the Sydney concert.

Show Goes On

Perry also included a cheeky video of Swift's performance of "Bad Blood," a song long rumored to describe Perry and Swift's once-fraught relationship . While filming the 1989 single, Perry flipped her camera around to show herself pulling a shocked expression as she mouthed the lyrics.

Karma Is My Boyfriend

In honor of his appearance at the Eras Tour , Swift repeated her adorable "Karma" lyric change during the concert's finale. Just as she did last year in Buenos Aires, the pop star sang, “Karma is the guy on the Chiefs, coming straight home to me."

It's a Love Story

After taking her final bows on stage, Swift greeted the NFL star with a kiss, as seen in a  video posted on X (formerly Twitter). Throughout the concert, onlookers captured adorable footage of Kelce inside the VIP tent, enjoying every era and wearing friendship bracelets on both arms .

Sydney Spirit

Before she lit up Accor Stadium, the A-list couple ventured to the Sydney Zoo for a “private tour,” according to the local media outlet  news.com.au . According to another local outlet,  9News , the pair fed kangaroos during their visit and took selfies as they explored the animal attraction hand-in-hand.

The 2024 leg of Swift's two-year tour was already in full swing when she and Kelce celebrated his second consecutive Super Bowl win. Now the Chiefs tight end is gearing up spend his offseason on the road with his girlfriend.

Earlier this month, an insider told PEOPLE  that the pair “are making plans for the summer and are excited to travel together in Europe when Taylor takes her tour there."

Hearts in the Air

The source added that Kelce's "ready for some downtime" after an exciting season, throughout which Swift cheered him on from the stands . He's ready to "show up for Taylor the way she has for him,” the insider told PEOPLE.

Taylor Swift’s reputation for showering her fans and community with love continues to grow. During the early part of the Australian leg of her record-breaking Eras Tour, the singing superstar gave two Swifties the shock of their lives with a personal invitation to a VIP experience they will never be able to shake off.

Australians Emily Hunt and Bonny Rebecca have a popular YouTube channel, Chats and Reacts , dedicated to music reactions, including a lot of Taylor Swift commentary. The pair already attended the first two nights of Swift’s sold-out shows and shared their excitement with followers.

However, the next day, the pair got an unexpected private message from the star’s official Instagram page: an invitation to that night’s concert inside the VIP tent!

“Hi there, we know this is last minute but we would like to invite you guys back for tonight’s show if you can make it. Please let us know,” Rebecca read aloud on in a video shared on the duo’s Patreon page .

Needless to say, the ladies agreed to the last-minute plans. But, they had no idea what awaited them at the show.

Scott Swift, Taylor’s father, spent time with the mega fans and made a special delivery to them: handwritten letters from their favorite artist. He also told the pair he enjoyed their videos.

In the personal letters, Swift expressed her gratitude for the ladies’ love and loyalty, told them she loved their videos and their “wild joy and enthusiasm.”

“Emily, hi! I’m so grateful to you and Bonny for how much you’ve cared about my music and all the times you’ve referred to it as ‘iconic’ and ‘immaculate,’” Swift wrote to Hunt. “You’ve made me laugh and made me feel understood many times with your reviews. I love your wild joy and enthusiasm. That’s why I do this! Have a blast tonight!”

A fellow fan posted a photo of the pair in the VIP tent, along with a picture of the handwritten letter.

But Hunt and Rebecca shared plenty of images and videos of their self-proclaimed “fairy-tale” on social media, including TikTok.

They also personally thanked Taylor and Scott Swift for their time and generosity.

“Scott, thank you soooo much for being so kind and generous!! And Taylor, we cannot believe you took the time to write us letters 🤯 thank you so much, we have never been so grateful and elated in all our lives,” they wrote on Instagram .

Trending on billboard, pearl jam returns to heavy on 'dark matter': stream it now.

Also new to the national survey is We Still Don’t Trust You (Universal/Sony), the second collaborative album from Future and Metro Boomin . It’s new at No. 15, and the followup to We Still Don’t Trust You , which recently bowed at No. 2.

Over on the ARIA Singles Chart, Hozier bags his first No. 1 with “Too Sweet” (Columbia/Sony), up 2-1. “Too Sweet” is Hozier’s second top 10 appearance on the Australian chart after his signature song “Take Me To Church” reached No. 2 back in 2013. “Too Sweet” also lifted to No. 1 in the U.K . earlier this month, for Hozier’s first leader there.

According to ARIA, Hozier is the fourth solo male singer to reach the top this year on the Australian chart, following U.S. artists Jack Harlow (“Lovin On Me”), Noah Kahan (“Stick Season”) and Benson Boone (“Beautiful Things”).

“Beautiful Things” (via Warner) dips 1-2 on the latest frame, while British EDM producer Artemas holds onto third spot with “I Like The Way You Kiss Me” (10K/ADA).

The top new debut on the ARIA Singles Chart belongs to U.S. pop singer and actor Sabrina Carpenter , whose “Espresso” shoots in at No. 7. “Espresso” (Island/Universal) is the follow-up to “Feather,” which peaked at No. 22 in 2023.

Will Taylor Swift’s ‘Eras Tour’ Setlist Change After ‘The Tortured Poets Department’ Release?

Will Taylor Swift s Eras Tour Setlist Change After The Tortured Poets Department Release 001

Taylor Swift ’s The Tortured Poets Department has already captivated the world , leaving her fans to wonder whether any of the new songs will pop up on her Eras Tour setlist.

Swift, 34, kicked off her three-hour concert series in March 2023 in Arizona, soon traversing the United States, Central and South America, Asia and Australia. The shows highlight most of her past albums: Taylor Swift, Fearless, Speak Now, Red, 1989, Reputation, Folklore, Evermore and Midnights . There also is a section dedicated to “surprise songs,” where Swift adds two new acoustic renditions (most recently, mash-ups) to the show.

Swift has been on hiatus since early March, weeks before The Tortured Poets Department dropped on Friday, April 19. The record, her 11th studio album, features 31 songs including “Fortnight,” “So Long, London,” “Fresh Out the Slammer,” “So High School” and “thanK you aIMee.”

Swift’s fans planning to see Eras later this year — the tour leg kicks off in Paris on Thursday, May 9 — have since taken to social media, curious if they will be able to hear any TTPD live.

“OK listen I NEED Taylor to add ‘I Can Do It With a Broken Heart’ to the Eras Tour setlist. … Just that ONE. … PLEASE. … It was MADE for the Eras Tour !!!!!!!!!!” a social media user wrote via X.

Another added, “I am so obsessed with Taylor’s new album idk how to survive the Eras Tour (if I actually go twice I might just drop dead afterwards).”

Will Taylor Swift s Eras Tour Setlist Change After The Tortured Poets Department Release 002

Since Eras has sections dedicated to Swift’s previous albums , it is possible that TTPD could get its own mini-set in the lineup. Not all of her preexisting cohorts feature the same amount of songs, so Swift could cut some songs in order to add a time for Tortured Poets additions .

Spotify added further fuel to the fire on Friday as Swifties noticed the streaming platform’s official video for “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” a TTPD track, features footage solely from the Eras Tour.

Swift’s musical director David Cook , who has also been featured on several of her past LPs, also hinted that TTPD songs could make an appearance on the tour lineup.

“Not sure how much I can add to the discourse other than this album is really REALLY good. You FEEL it,” Cook wrote via Instagram on Friday, quoting “Loml” with a mind-blown emoji.

According to eagle-eyed Swifties that captured screenshots, Cook also wrote, “Wait until you hear the live versions.” The addition, however, has since been deleted.

Of course, it is also possible that Swift will drop a TTPD single in her surprise song section.

“How will The Tortured Poets Department affect the Eras Tour ? Hopefully only on surprise songs (in a good way),” an X user theorized.

While Swift has yet to address if TTPD will affect her Eras Tour setlist, she’s given fans insight into how she picks song s for the acoustic section.

“This has become my favorite part of the show because it’s become very chaotic and it’s become a challenge for me to think of new things to do for every single city,” Swift told the crowd in Singapore in March. “And hope that I’m doing something that you guys might like. It’s been a blast!”

Per the Grammy winner, she “invented [her] crazy acoustic section,” to be able to play “as many songs” as she could way over the 44 staples at each show. Adding TTPD tracks there seems like an easy way to do just that, if you ask Us.

The Tortured Poets Department is out now and Swift’s Eras Tour resumes on Thursday, May 9.

Taylor Swift showed off a sweet, intimate moment with her beau, Travis Kelce, in a rare private video.

In a clip on YouTube celebrating the release of her Fortnight music video, Swift posted a series of snippets including one of the NFL player giving her a quick kiss on the cheek as she cooks dinner.

The second-long clip shows the US singer stirring food in a simple black tank top with jeans and a gold necklace.

Kelce, wearing a black cardigan over a collared shirt, then swoops in from the side to give her a peck on the cheek.

Swift, 34, seems shocked by the move and begins to giggle at Kelce, also 34, as the video cuts to the next clip.

The compilation video also included clips of the singer exercising at a gym, sewing, doing arts and crafts while wearing a Kansas University sweatshirt, making cinnamon buns, playing pickleball and hanging out with friends on a boat.

Swift’s cat Benjamin Button also makes a cute cameo in the video.

“Share your ‘fortnight’ recap with #ForAFortnightChallenge 🤍 brought to you by YouTube Shorts,” she captioned the clips, which were presumably shot in the last two weeks.

Fans flocked to the comments to praise Swift for showing off moments from her daily life.

Swift shared a series of brief clips giving fans a look at her life over the past fortnight.

“im so happy for taylor that she feels comfortable to be so personal and vulnerable for us! that’s so great for her,” one fan wrote.

Another added, “Taylor and Travis have the best chemistry. Taylor we are all so happy for you!”

A third wrote that it was a “treat” to see Swift “carefree” and “happy.”

Swift released her new album , The Tortured Poets Department on Friday, as well as her new music video Fortnight , starring Post Malone.

In the video, which included a surprise appearance from actors Josh Charles and Ethan Hawke, Swift and Malone play lovers as they sing to each other in a black-and-white backdrop.

Swift spared no one’s feelings in her latest album, with songs about ex Joe Alwyn and her short-lived romance with The 1975’s Matty Healy.

She also once again took aim at Kim Kardashian, as well as included songs about her romance with Kelce.

The singer’s relationship with the NFL tight end has been a far cry from her private relationship with Alwyn.

The couple — who began dating last July — have been in the public eye since Swift first attended his football game in September 2023.

Since then she’s been to many of his games, including the Super Bowl.

Kelce has also been in attendance at her blockbuster Eras Tour. In fact, the first time fans saw the couple kiss was during one of her shows in South America.

Swift has admitted in past interviews that she doesn’t like hiding her relationships, despite how she behaved with Alwyn, 33.

“It all depends on who you’re with,” she said in an interview that has since gone viral.

“If they have a serious issue with it, then you, I guess, hide or whatever. But I don’t really like that.”

“It makes me feel like I’m running from the law or something. I don’t want to feel like I’m like a fugitive. Like, ‘Oh, my God, we’re having a relationship. Better put on a mask and stuff.’”

How Travis Kelce Reportedly Feels If Taylor Swift Wrote ‘Tortured Poets Department’ Songs About Joe Alwyn

'He supports her 100 per cent,' a source reportedly claimed about the NFL star.

Travis Kelce Taylor Swift Joe Alwyn

Swifties are counting down the seconds until The Tortured Poets Department is released. Now that Taylor Swift is bound to break the internet again for new music, some are wondering if a few of the songs were inspired by her breakup from ex-boyfriend Joe Alwyn . Whether or not that’s the case, fans are wondering how Taylor’s current boyfriend, Travis Kelce , feels about his girlfriend’s music.

On Thursday, April 18, Daily Mail reported that Travis, 34, is “100 percent” supportive of Taylor, 34, no matter who her songs may have been written about.

“If it is about Joe, or anyone, even if it is about him in the future, this is the artist she is, and he is in love with her and doesn’t pay any attention to be jealous,” a source told the outlet just hours before the album’s release. “He understands this is a major part of what makes her the person and artist she is, and he is no way looking to thwart the direction she takes.”

The insider added that the Kansas City Chiefs player “supports her 100 percent and loves everything she is doing. Joe or any of her exes is not of concern to him whatsoever.”

The source also pointed out that after “Travis himself admitted to hearing some of Taylor’s new album during the Super Bowl, he has since been able to hear the entire album on multiple occasions, and they have talked about the album and what the songs are all about.”

As a matter of fact, per the insider, the NFL player “has a few favorites – “Down Bad” and “loml” – but he also loves everything he has heard.”

Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift kissing

Taylor and Travis began dating just a few months after she broke up with Joe, 33, in mid-2023. The “Karma” artist and the British actor had been dating for six years and kept their romance as far out of the public eye as possible. However, he briefly appeared in her Netflix documentary, Miss Americana .

Over the summer of 2023, Taylor and Travis quietly began dating. They went public with their relationship in September of that year when the Grammy Award winner was spotted attending her first Chiefs game of the football season. Up until the 2024 Super Bowl, Taylor had attended most of her boyfriend’s games.

For his part, Travis has been to several of Taylor’s Eras Tour s hows around the world, including in Australia, Singapore and South America.
