Jeremy Clarkson STUNS fans with graphic Clarkson’s Farm photograph

Jeremy Clarkson has stunned fans with a graphic photograph from the new season of Clarkson’s Farm.

The popular Prime Video show is set to return with its third season on Friday, May 3, following major success since its 2021 debut.

Clarkson swapped his cars for tractors having been a presenter on both Top Gear and The Grand Tour with millions across the world enticed by his Oxfordshire farm.

Diddly Squat Farm near Chipping Norton is the home of the series and has a variety of animals present including pigs.

Clarkson has shocked fans ahead of the new series next month though with a graphic photograph of said pigs which he shared on social media.

The Who Wants To Be a Millionaire host uploaded a picture of a pig mounting another pig on Instagram with the caption: “Farmering.”

Clarkson himself was also in the image which garnered a lot of feedback in the comments on the celebrity’s post.

“Funny things happen in the countryside,” said one commenter.

Another added: “Love how this show is so comedic and cinematic at the same time.”

One commenter even tried to make a joke at the expense of Clarkson’s Top Gear and Grand Tour co-presenters James May and Richard Hammond.

“Hammond and May look different,” they said.

Season three of Clarkson’s Farm will include eight episodes which will be released throughout next month on the Primer Video streaming service.

'Clarkson's Farm' Season 3 to premiere on May 3

April 19 (UPI) -- Jeremy Clarkson's British agriculture-themed docu-series, Clarkson's Farm , will kick off its third season on May 3.

The first four episodes will be available on that date, while the remaining four will be available May 10.

"The third series of Clarkson's Farm finds Diddly Squat Farm facing some seriously daunting challenges. The crops are failing in the severe hot weather, inflation has driven prices of supplies sky high, dreams for the beloved restaurant are dashed and now the farm shop also faces closure," a synopsis said.

"Jeremy urgently needs to come up with creative new ways of making ends meet, so hatches a plan to turn a profit from hundreds of acres of unfarmed land -- thick woodland and hedgerows that make up half of Diddly Squat. This triggers an avalanche of Clarkson-crafted schemes, involving everything from goats and pigs to mushrooms, nettles and deer."

Clarkson is best known for his presenting roles on the car-centric reality shows The Grand Tour and Top Gear .

Jeremy Clarkson addresses The Grand Tour ‘exit’ as he shares update on Clarkson’s Farm

Jeremy Clarkson and Kaleb Cooper from Clarkson's Farm

Jeremy Clarkson has addressed his The Grand Tour exit, after it was claimed he had finished filming a finale with Richard Hammond and James May .

It was reported on Wednesday that the trio, who first hit our screens together in 2003 on Top Gear, were leaving the Amazon Prime Video show, with a final special from their travels in Zimbabwe to launch next year.

And the 63-year-old has now addressed the news, writing on Instagram: ‘Been a busy day.

‘No more Grand Tour after next year but a LOT more Clarkson’s Farm. Which, this evening, is looking extremely lovely.’

His post was flooded with fans devastated at the news The Grand Tour would be ending, with one writing: ‘Please start a podcast with the three of you, it can just be called the news and you rant for an hour about cars.’

Someone else proposed: ‘Can James and Richard join you on a special episode of Clarkson’s farm?!?’

Options, however, are being explored for the future of a new The Grand Tour although no projects have yet to be given the greenlight.

Jeremy Clarkson

This comes after Amazon revealed it has commissioned Clarkson’s Farm for a fourth season after its future was questioned over vile remarks Clarkson made about Meghan Markle .

The streaming platform’s head of unscripted in the UK, Fozia Khan, confirmed another series was in the works at TV business conference Content London , held in venues in King’s Cross, today.

She added that shooting will begin on season 4 ‘very soon’, while season 3 has wrapped and is expected to premiere on Prime Video next year, according to Deadline .

Jeremy Clarkson on Clarkson's Farm

Rumours Clarkson’s Farm had been renewed began when it was reported Amazon and Clarkson, 63, had entered talks after the streamer had reportedly ‘cut ties’ with the broadcaster over his column about the Duchess of Sussex, 42.

Clarkson later apologised for the piece, which became the most complained about in Ipso history and was ruled as ‘sexist’ in a groundbreaking decision from the press regulator.

The controversy didn’t seem to affect Clarkson’s Farm viewing figures.

Meghan Markle

It became  Amazon’s most-watched original show  in the UK since the ratings body began collecting data for major streaming sites.

In recent months, his girlfriend Lisa Hogan hinted season 4 was on the cards much to the delight of his fans.

Clarkson’s Farm began in June 2021 and follows Clarkson’s hapless venture into the world of agriculture as he learns to manage his Chipping Norton farm Diddly Squat.

Metro.co.uk has contacted Amazon for comment.

Clarkson’s Farm is available to stream on Amazon Prime.

B ack in 2008, someone going by the name of “Joseph Dark” created a petition on the government’s official public lobbying system. “Make Jeremy Clarkson prime minister,” it demanded, simply. By the time it closed, it had received 49,446 signatures. Clarkson was not made prime minister.

In one sense, that demonstration of public approval is an extraordinary show of faith in Clarkson, the brash columnist and host of motoring programmes. But in reality, it represents a very modest degree of support. It is about 0.15 per cent of the 32 million-odd votes that were cast at the last general election, and only a bit higher than Tory MP Robert Courts’s mandate in Witney (33,856 votes), the constituency where Clarkson’s Diddly Squat farm , itself the subject of an Amazon documentary Clarkson’s Farm , is located. If he were to launch a coup, it would not be a very well-supported one.

And yet there was a moment in 2015 when it almost felt like it would come to that. A tank, organised by the conservative blogger Guido Fawkes, was driven through central London, to the doors of the BBC’s New Broadcasting House in Portland Place. Atop it stood a figure dressed as the “Stig”, the legendary professional driver from Top Gear , clutching a petition (another petition!) demanding that Clarkson be reinstated following his axing from the show. Perhaps more striking even than its delivery via a British FV433 Abbot armoured vehicle, was the fact that this petition had broken a million signatures. Throngs of fans greeted the tank, the Stig, and the petition at BBC’s HQ and cheered for their hero.

Of course, context is important. Clarkson had been sacked, not in some ideological purge – given his outspoken views on subjects like migration and climate change – or even because of a long string of accidents and controversies incurred during the filming of Top Gear . No, his end arrived, in the end, via a well-publicised “fracas” with one of the show’s producers, Oisin Tymon. A BBC investigation found that the producer was “struck [by Clarkson] resulting in swelling and bleeding to his lip” and that “Tymon offered no retaliation” at Clarkson. “The verbal abuse was directed at Oisin Tymon on more than one occasion,” the findings went on, “and contained the strongest expletives and threats to sack him.” The incident cost Clarkson his job at the BBC and £100,000 in damages awarded to the producer, but not – crucially – his reputation.

This week, The Grand Tour , Amazon Prime’s lavish motoring show featuring the heralded Top Gear trio of Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May, returns for the penultimate “adventure” of its final series, a race across the Sahara. When it was picked up, back in 2016 – when Clarkson’s stock was at rock bottom – Amazon paid an eye-watering £160m in a reported three-season contract with the team. “They’re worth a lot,” Amazon head honcho Jeff Bezos, a man who knows something about value, told The Daily Telegraph at the time, “and they know it.”

The reason that they were worth so much is the same reason that a million people signed that petition. Clarkson inspires a unique form of adoration, predominantly among men of a certain age. He is an icon of an archetype that has diminished (or has been perceived to be diminished) in public life: the straight-shooting, no-nonsense, unapologetic man’s man. He graduated straight from regional titles like the Rochdale Observer and Shropshire Star to motoring mags and then Top Gear itself. Despite a middle-class background and education at Repton School in Derbyshire (there is also a branch of the school in Dubai, naturally), he has managed to maintain an image as a man of the people, in a manner not dissimilar to former prime minister Boris Johnson.

This has always been Clarkson’s position, at the centre of a tug of war between veneration and derision. He is loathed by people who see him as a standard bearer for a form of toxic machismo and a dinosaur on the 21st century’s biggest issues. Jokes made on Top Gear and The Grand Tour have regularly been decried as homophobic, while his writing has flirted with sexism and racism, culminating, infamously, in a column published in The Sun in 2022 in which he wrote that he was dreaming of the day when the Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle, “is made to parade naked through the streets of every town in Britain while crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her”. It resulted in public outcry, parliamentary condemnation, and a slap on the wrist from Ipso, the press regulator. Even Rishi Sunak, a man who prizes political expediency over all else, mumbled halfway to a critique by saying that “language matters”.

The Markle incident, like the “fracas”, has cost Clarkson. An Amazon executive told the Edinburgh TV Festival that they were “shocked and disappointed” by Clarkson’s comments, and rumours began to swirl that both The Grand Tour and Clarkson’s Farm would be finishing, effectively ending his relationship with the streaming giant. And yet, just as in 2015, Clarkson was offered a reprieve: in November last year, Amazon performed a volte face and announced the fourth season of Clarkson’s Farm .

He is like a human version of the optical illusion where some people see a rabbit and some see a duck. If you see a rabbit and believe him to be hilarious and honest (not to mention someone his fans voted, last year, “the UK’s sexiest male” in a poll for illicitencounters.com), you will take some convincing that he is, in fact, a duck. And those seeing a duck – a boorish, bigoted relic, who looks like a caricature of a small-minded little Englander – will never believe there’s a rabbit lurking there.

The truth is that Clarkson is half-rabbit, half-duck. A delicious hybrid animal that he would undoubtedly advocate the shooting of, followed by its preparation in a rich, gout-inducing sauce. He is a social conservative with strongly held views and a gift for articulating them, but he is also more pragmatic than his critics give him credit for. Clarkson’s Farm , for example, has provided a loud, clear voice for Britain’s farmers who are often elided from political discourse. If it weren’t for his tendency towards a self-immolating form of nastiness – whether administered via fist or pen – there would be much to admire about Clarkson. But he has a lot of second chances in an industry where most people don’t even get a first attempt.

You might suspect that, dumped by the BBC and on precarious terms with Amazon, Clarkson is running out of options. But, for better or worse, he’s a survivor. And if even 0.15 per cent of the electorate would advocate for you, a TV presenter and hack columnist, to be prime minister, you’ve got a bargaining chip that will open a lot of doors. Somehow, the end of Clarkson’s latest venture into the high octane world of supercars feels, not like a career explosion, but just another bombshell to end on.

Jeremy Clarkson comforts crying Lisa after Clarkson's Farm tragedy

Jeremy clarkson and lisa share emotional moment in clarkson's farm.

  • Oops! Something went wrong. Please try again later. More content below

Jeremy Clarkson is seen comforting his girlfriend Lisa Hogan after she breaks down in tears when a piglet appears to die in the new series of Clarkson’s Farm .

The TV star’s Amazon Prime programme about life on Diddly Squat Farm is back for a third run and the trailer shows him deciding he wants to breed pigs. But things don’t go according to plan as the Cotswolds farm welcomes its first litter and there is heartache waiting for them.

Clarkson is seen peering into what looks like an incubator as he says: “One of them is as weak as hell.” A tiny piglet that doesn’t seem to be moving is then handed to his girlfriend, who exclaims “Oh no!” then starts to cry.

Looking sombre, Clarkson wraps his around her as she sobs and holds two of the babies in her arms.

Watch Clarkson's Farm trailer

The Grand Tour star had previously said he thought having pigs on the farm would provide some “genuine happiness”, but recently told The Sunday Times that “instead, it was almost unbelievably sad” as many of the piglets had passed away.

“I’ve never seen Lisa so upset,” he said. “The film crew looked shell-shocked.”

“We had a catastrophically high level of deaths and I was desperately worried we were doing something wrong, but it turned out we weren’t, it was just that pigs are bad mothers – the Sandy and Black particularly so,” he explained. “That’s why it’s a rare breed.”

But it's not all sad things ahead on Clarkson's Farm. Elsewhere, the trailer for the third series showed Clarkson proposing a competition with farm manager Kaleb Cooper about who could make the most money, with Clarkson using unfarmed land and Cooper using farmed land.

The star also sucks up blackberries with what looks like a vacuum cleaner and has to deal with a mushroom infestation. He also comes up with a plan to sell hay to stars,.

Of the potential celeb customers, he said: “All of the people moving out of London. We have got (Simon) Cowell, we have got (David) Beckham, Natalie Imbruglia, Amanda Holden."

There are lots of things to be excited about in the new series. The official synopsis for the new series says: "The crops are failing in the severe hot weather, inflation has driven prices of supplies sky high, dreams for the beloved restaurant are dashed and now the farm shop also faces closure.

"Jeremy urgently needs to come up with creative new ways of making ends meet, so hatches a plan to turn a profit from hundreds of acres of unfarmed land – thick woodland and hedgerows that make up half of Diddly Squat. This triggers an avalanche of Clarkson-crafted schemes, involving everything from goats and pigs to mushrooms, nettles and deer."

Clarkson’s Farm season 3 promises to see the introduction of a newcomer who “puts Kaleb’s nose out of joint" but the fan favourite gets a big promotion too. Expect to see land agent 'Cheerful' Charlie Ireland and the farm's head of security Gerald Cooper also returning.

Prime Video has renewed Clarkson's Farm for a fourth series too. Clarkson's Farm series three's release follows on from the second season that was out in February 2023. Fans first fell in love with Clarkson's series when it was available for streaming in 2021.

Clarkson’s Farm season three will be released on Friday, 3 May on Prime Video.

The Grand Tour

Jeremy Clarkson has revealed why it’s the end of the road for The Grand Tour . Clarkson said he and co-hosts, James May and Richard Hammond, decided to quit the Amazon Prime Video show after running out of steam.

In an interview with The Times of London , Clarkson said it was becoming increasingly difficult to conjure up outlandish adventures for the show and that the presenters were all showing their age.

He added that The Grand Tour missions are “immensely physical” and had become increasingly difficult when “you’re unfit and fat and old.” “If you’re Bear Grylls you go to a hotel — there aren’t any hotels in the Sahara desert,” Clarkson said.

Clarkson, Hammond, and May confirmed last November that they had filmed their final installments of  The Grand Tour . Two final episodes of the motoring series were recorded in Mauritania and Zimbabwe and will premiere on Amazon Prime Video.

Fozia Khan, Amazon Studios’ head of unscripted in the UK, said the brand could survive with another set of presenters. “It’s come to its natural end,” she said, adding that her team was “thinking about” how the show can live on.

Clarkson will continue to host Clarkson’s Farm for Amazon after the series has become the streamer’s highest-rated UK original. Filming on Season 4 is set to begin this year. Clarkson is also hosting more Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? for ITV.

The Times interviewer Ed Potton wrote that he was told not to ask Clarkson about his reviled The Sun newspaper column about Meghan Markle. Clarkson wrote that he imagines the day Markle is paraded “naked through the streets of every town in Britain while the crowds chant, ‘Shame!’ and throw lumps of excrement at her.” The piece was retracted and Amazon made clear its fury at the article.

Asked if he feels under pressure to be controversial, Clarkson said: “No! I like being controversial. Some people who see a still pond find that peaceful, but I cannot resist throwing a stone in it.”

Grand Tour Season 2 Jeremy Clarkson

When the news came out in December that “ The Grand Tour ” — Jeremy Clarkson , James May and Richard Hammond’s post-“Top Gear” automotive series — would be coming to an end , fans were left wondering why.

But, in a new interview with The Times , Clarkson has delivered a cheeky yet straightforward answer: it’s because he’s “unfit and fat and old.”

Clarkson told The Times that the show “is immensely physical, and when you’re unfit and fat and old, which I am…” He also feels the trio has done just about “everything you can do with a car.”

Popular on Variety

There are still two more specials of “The Grand Tour,” one set to premiere next month and another which filmed in Zimbabwe and will launch later this year. Options to continue the series with different hosts are being explored but have not yet been greenlit, sources told Variety in December.

“James May thinks there’s never been a more interesting time for how we move around and he’s probably right, but I don’t think it’s very interesting television,” Clarkson continued. “An electric car is no different from a chest freezer or a microwave oven. There’s no glamour or excitement. This week on ‘Top Chest Freezer’! I think it suits the written media more.”

In addition to continuing his car review column for the Sunday Times and his popular Amazon show “Clarkson’s Farm,” the presenter is hosting a new series of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?,” which premieres Jan. 28 on ITV1.

Clarkson’s Farm fans are delighted to be edging closer to the launch of series three, with the trailer for the new instalments sparking major intrigue.

Jeremy Clarkson and his right-hand man Kaleb Cooper are set for more humorous mishaps and farm-related struggles, but the teaser for the series shows former Top Gear star Clarkson left concerned following a dramatic equipment accident.

Cooper, 25, ends up getting injured in the new episodes of the Prime series, leaving Clarkson, 64, visibly worried.

The heart-stopping moment is teased in the full-length trailer, which was released on Thursday.

The duo seem to be going about their work on Diddly Squat Farm when disaster strikes as Cooper, who’s harnessed to some farming equipment, falls into the field.

He appears to be tumbling into some dangerous machinery, causing Clarkson to yell: “S***” from the JCB he’s driving.

The trailer shows Kaleb being injured

The Grand Tour star rushes to the field to the aid his co-star.

Footage shows Clarkson and his girlfriend Lisa Hogan watching on as Cooper seems to be receiving medical attention.

Clarkson goes on to quip: “We've gotta get rid of all health and safety equipment off the farm. It's truly injuring people.”

The trailer also gave viewers a sneak peek at an emotional moment as Clarkson is left comforting a sobbing Hogan.

Jeremy soon rushes to his co-star's aid

The couple appear to be heartbroken in the clip, which shows them discovering some of the farm's piglets had sadly died.

Clarkson can be seen tending to the new-born animals, however it soon becomes clear there is a problem.

“One of them is as weak as hell," the Grand Tour star is heard saying as he reaches into an incubator.

Later, he shows Hogan that two of the piglets have died, to which she responds: “Oh no,” before bursting into tears.

The trailer for the new series of Clarkson's Farm was released this week

As she cradles the baby animals, Clarkson is seen trying to console her before the clip ends.

A synopsis for the upcoming series reads: "The third series [finds] Diddly Squat facing some seriously daunting challenges.

"The crops are failing in the severe hot weather, inflation has driven prices of supplies sky high, dreams for the beloved restaurant are dashed and now the farm shop also faces closure.

"Jeremy urgently needs to come up with creative new ways of making ends meet, so hatches a plan to turn a profit from hundreds of acres of unfarmed land - thick woodland and hedgerows that makeup half of Diddly Squat. This triggers an avalanche of Clarkson-crafted schemes, involving everything from goats and pigs to mushrooms, nettles and deer."

The Grand Tour host discovered his 1,000-acre Diddly Squat farm is perfect for growing the type of willow used.

And each bat willow tree can sell for hundreds of pounds.

Clarkson admitted he “actively hated”  cricket  at school.

But he declared: “I’ve worked out how I can get my own back on these people. I'm going to take all of their money.”

Jeremy Clarkson Confirms The Grand Tour’s Final Episode on Amazon Prime

TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson has confirmed the end of The Grand Tour on Amazon Prime after next year. This announcement marks the conclusion of a series beloved by fans since its inception in 2016.

Key Takeaways:

  • End of The Grand Tour: Jeremy Clarkson, along with co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May , will no longer film new series of The Grand Tour after next year, following a decision by Amazon Prime’s executives. This marks the end of a popular show that started in 2016 and quickly garnered a devoted fanbase.
  • Fan Reactions and Future Prospects: Fans expressed their disappointment and gratitude on social media, reflecting on the impact the show had on their lives. Despite the end of this era, there’s speculation that Amazon Prime may revive The Grand Tour with new hosts, a move reportedly welcomed by the current presenters.
  • Clarkson’s Future Endeavours: Clarkson mentioned a focus on his other project, ‘Clarkson’s Farm’, and there are two more special episodes of The Grand Tour slated for release, featuring travels to Mauritania and Zimbabwe.

TV presenter Jeremy Clarkson, renowned for his role in the popular car show The Grand Tour alongside Richard Hammond and James May, has recently spoken about the future of the series. The show, which began on Amazon Prime in 2016, has been a fan favourite but will see no further series after next year. This decision, made by the streaming platform’s bosses, brings an end to a series that has been both entertaining and influential for car enthusiasts.

Clarkson shared his thoughts on Instagram, stating:

“Been a busy day. No more Grand Tour after next year but a LOT more Clarkson’s Farm. Which, this evening, is looking extremely lovely.”

This post quickly became a hub for fans to express their feelings about the series ending. The emotional reactions ranged from sadness over the show’s conclusion to appreciation for the years of entertainment it provided.

One fan commented:

“Please start a podcast with the three of you, it can just be called the news and you rant for an hour about cars.”

Others expressed their gratitude:

“The end of Clarkson, Hammond and May in whatever it’s called is a sad day. Thank you for everything you did for petrolheads. And now farmheads!”

The influence of the trio was evident in another fan’s words:

“It’s really nice coming to the comments and seeing how these 3 impacted the lives of so many. These lads got me through countless dark times with laughter and endless banter. We all knew the day was coming, and the truest of fans will wish you, Hammond, May, and indeed all of the crew that made the magic happen the absolute best in the next stage. Thank you for inspiring countless enthusiasts around the world.”

Despite Clarkson’s announcement, there’s talk that Amazon Prime might continue The Grand Tour with new hosts. An insider revealed:

“It’s a surprising decision and everyone realises it very much marks the end of an era for the three presenters.”

This potential revival aligns with the presenters’ acceptance of passing the torch to a new generation.

“The Grand Tour is one of Prime Video’s most watched shows and Jeremy, James and Richard have a devoted following. But the guys have made no bones about the fact they’re all advancing in years and they have lots of other projects to pursue,” a source informed The Sun. “They just felt like the time was right and wanted to go out on a high when the show remained popular.”

As fans prepare to bid farewell to this iconic trio, they can look forward to two more special episodes of The Grand Tour, showcasing the team’s adventures in Mauritania and Zimbabwe. This farewell follows their departure from Top Gear in 2015, after a disagreement with producers.

Touring the Top 10 Moscow Metro Stations

By Claudia Looi 2 Comments

Komsomolskaya metro station

Komsomolskaya metro station looks like a museum. It has vaulted ceilings and baroque decor.

Hidden underground, in the heart of Moscow, are historical and architectural treasures of Russia. These are Soviet-era creations – the metro stations of Moscow.

Our guide Maria introduced these elaborate metro stations as “the palaces for the people.” Built between 1937 and 1955, each station holds its own history and stories. Stalin had the idea of building beautiful underground spaces that the masses could enjoy. They would look like museums, art centers, concert halls, palaces and churches. Each would have a different theme. None would be alike.

The two-hour private tour was with a former Intourist tour guide named Maria. Maria lived in Moscow all her life and through the communist era of 60s to 90s. She has been a tour guide for more than 30 years. Being in her 60s, she moved rather quickly for her age. We traveled and crammed with Maria and other Muscovites on the metro to visit 10 different metro stations.

Moscow subways are very clean

To Maria, every street, metro and building told a story. I couldn’t keep up with her stories. I don’t remember most of what she said because I was just thrilled being in Moscow.   Added to that, she spilled out so many Russian words and names, which to one who can’t read Cyrillic, sounded so foreign and could be easily forgotten.

The metro tour was the first part of our all day tour of Moscow with Maria. Here are the stations we visited:

1. Komsomolskaya Metro Station  is the most beautiful of them all. Painted yellow and decorated with chandeliers, gold leaves and semi precious stones, the station looks like a stately museum. And possibly decorated like a palace. I saw Komsomolskaya first, before the rest of the stations upon arrival in Moscow by train from St. Petersburg.

2. Revolution Square Metro Station (Ploshchad Revolyutsii) has marble arches and 72 bronze sculptures designed by Alexey Dushkin. The marble arches are flanked by the bronze sculptures. If you look closely you will see passersby touching the bronze dog's nose. Legend has it that good luck comes to those who touch the dog's nose.
