Jason Aldean’s Highway Desperado Tour Returns In 2024

Jason Aldean announced that after 40+ sold out headlining shows in 2023, he’ll be hitting the road again in 2024, extending his Highway Desperado Tour starting May 18th.

Aldean Army members get first access to tickets starting Tuesday, November 28th at 10:00 AM local venue time through Thursday, November 30th at 10:00 PM local venue time . The public onsale begins Friday, December 1st at 10:00 AM local venue time .

Jason Aldean Announces ‘Back in the Saddle’ Tour Dates

After a year off the road, Jason Aldean has announced his Back in the Saddle Tour, which kicks off this summer.

The country star revealed his return to touring Saturday night during his sold-out, livestreamed concert at the Bonnaroo Farm in Manchester, Tennessee. The gig marked Aldean’s first public performance since March 2020, when his We Back Tour was postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

“It’s been emotional being back on stage with my band for the first time in a year this weekend,” Aldean said in a statement.

“It’s made us all even more ready to get back to life as we all know it. Being on the road makes all of us – the band, the crew and me – happy and I haven’t felt this excited about going on tour in 15 years.”

Hardy and Lainey Wilson will serve as special guests on the Back in the Saddle Tour, which kicks off August 5th in Virginia Beach, Virginia and concludes three months later in Tampa, Florida on October 30th.

Jason Aldean Adds Summer Dates to My Kinda Party Tour

Jason Aldean has revealed new dates for his My Kinda Party tour for July and August. He will be joined by Chris Young on select dates, as well as new duo Thompson Square ("Are You Gonna Kiss Me or Not"). The summer leg will start on July 8 in Milwaukee as part of the city's Summerfest music series.

Aldean celebrated the platinum certification of his latest album, My Kinda Party , with an industry celebration in Nashville last week. His latest single, a duet with Kelly Clarkson titled "Don't You Wanna Stay," reached No. 1 on the Billboard country airplay chart. His next tour date is scheduled for March 19 in Thackerville, Okla.

"Feels like this first leg just got started. ... We're only warming up!" said Aldean. "It'll be nice to stop in some places we haven't been since the new record came out. I'm really looking forward to having Chris and Thompson Square out with us, too. Both are on a roll right now, so it'll be a great time."

Billy Strings

Billy Strings tickets have been quickly selling out for his Summer 2024 tour, which will take place from May 11 to Aug. 24 around the U.S. You can also catch the bluegrass singer at musical festivals including Big As Texas Fest, Buckeye Country Superfest and Under the Big Sky Festival. Ticketmaster may still have tickets starting at $49.50, but if you can’t find your desired spot or amount of tickets, you can checkout resale sites that have options for as low as $25. Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood is joining the list of current Las Vegas residencies and will be taking the stage at the Theater at Resorts World until Oct. 26. Tickets are as low as $47 (as of this writing) and if you can’t make it to her residency, you can also see her when she performs at the Grand Ol Opry in June or at a few music festivals happening this summer. Chris Stapleton

Chris Stapleton ‘s All American Road Show tour is going on until March 8, 2025 and will feature special guests including George Strait, Grace Potter, Nikki Lane, Little Big Town, The War & Treaty and more. Dan + Shay continue their Heartbreak On the Map tour throughout the summer as the two stop throughout the U.S. and Canada performing songs from their latest album Bigger Houses . Garth Brooks

Starting June 26, Garth Brooks will head to Sin City where he’ll have his own residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace. He’ll be performing there throughout the summer and into the winter when his final show occurs on Dec. 22. If you can’t make it to Vegas, the country star will be showing up at the Kickoff Jam in Panama City Beach, Fla. on Aug. 30, which will also feature Underwood and Alabama. Tickets to see Brooks live start at $112 and you can see all his current tour dates here .

George Strait

The “Unwound” singer is hitting the road May 11-Dec. 7 for a total of nine shows, which means there are limited opportunities see the artist live. He won’t just be performing solo though, Strait is bringing Stapleton for a majority of the performances as well as Little Big Town, Catie Offerman and Parker McCollum. Jason Aldean

The Highway Desperado tour begins May 18-Oct. 5 with the “Dirt Road Anthem” singer stopping in cities across the U.S. You can also look forward to seeing special guests Lauren Alaina, Hailey Whitters, Chase Matthew, Austin Snell and Dee Jay Silver. Kacey Musgraves will kickoff her Deeper Well world tour on May 10 and will travel throughout the U.K. and U.S. until Dec. 7. Morgan Wallen’s One Night At a Time tour will complete its run on Aug. 9 and you can still get tickets online starting at $69. In speaking with him on Taste of Country Nights , Aldean and I were talking future plans and bucket list goals left. You have to wonder if someone as successful as Aldean still has more that he wants to accomplish in music.

The “Let Your Boys Be Country” singer said, “There’s still a lot of things that I want to accomplish. You know, I feel like I’ve been able to accomplish a lot of the things that I set out to do, originally, and more.”

Aldean continued, “I think I’ve done things in my career that I never dreamed I would have done. I started playing music when I was 14 years old, I started playing clubs and kind of starting this whole process.

“For 30 years, I’ve been doing this, and I’ve spent most of my life trying to chase the music dream and then you kind of get there, and then it’s like, ‘All right, now you’re in it, what’s next?'”

I then went in for the heavy hitting question. Will Aldean ever retire?

Aldean said, “I dunno, I feel like if you’re a musician, I feel like this is a job that it’s hard to retire from.”

Aldean explains more, “It’s kind of a lifer gig, you know, I may not tour as much as I tour now, but I feel like I will probably always play in some capacity.”

Aldean hinted that he would only stop playing if fans didn’t want to see him anymore, or he was not able to get on stage and perform how he always has in the past.

Would Aldean go until he is 90 and walks on stage with a cane? The “Dirt Road Anthem” singer replied, “I mean look at like people like the Stones — not that they’re 90, they’re up there, and they’re still going out playing stadiums. I just feel like this is one of those gigs that if you’re in it, you’re kind of a lifer.”

Jason Aldean announced that after 40+ sold out headlining shows in 2023, he’ll be hitting the road again in 2024, extending his Highway Desperado Tour starting May 18th at WinStar World Casino and Resort in Thackerville, OK. The tour features special guests Hailey Whitters and Lauren Alaina in select cities as well as Chase Matthew, Austin Snell, and Dee Jay Silver across all dates.

Aldean will also headline several festivals and co-headline the 2024 Rock the Country festival tour in addition to the newly added 2024 Highway Desperado Tour dates.
