My partner and I went diving two days with Oceano, and it was fantastic! I got my advanced certification while she dove both days, and they were able to take us on the same boat. George was a great instructor, and Leo and Manuel were both super friendly and helpful. The Marietas Islands are a great site. We saw a bunch of whales on the way out and back, and the dive sites were beautiful. If you're looking to go diving in Sayulita, this is the place!

Overall rating

This is a great place to do beginner scuba and/or get PADI certified, but they also do snorkeling (which kids or significant others can do at the same time as you scuba, which is convenient) and more advanced scuba dives. Hector and Antonio took us to Los Arcos and taught us the ropes in a very supportive way and just took care of everything. We also saw dolphins on the way back. They are conveniently located in the marina. Highly recommend!

Consistently in the top 4 most popular vacation spots in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta is no longer underrated and a big reason why is this beautiful beach city has something Cancun and Cabo lacks – a sense of real Mexico.

Multiple trucks showed up at 9:30pm and started loading, pics show chairs, mattresses, etc being carried out.

A policeman said that a bank had forclosed on the property and contents.

Guests were not even allowed to pack; their belongings were packed for them. Guests were scrambling to find perscription drugs, phone chargers, etc.

Just walked past there. Real sh*t show. I wonder why the heck they couldn't have waited until morning. Really a shame.

This is one of those cases where you are much better off if you used a 3rd party like Expedia to book. They will find you someplace and not charge you. No idea how trip insurance handles it.

Sorry to hear that, especially for the current guests and staff. It's too bad. Friends stayed there last year and were happy with the basic but clean rooms, location and what they said were very friendly staff. Don't know why the guests would not have been allowed the courtesy of getting their own things and be allowed to leave properly. None of this is the guests' fault. I hope they're able to find other accommodations. I would hate to have to be going home and losing my vacation on top of losing my hotel booking out of the blue.

Gosh this is terrible for all concerned. How awful to be a guest and find out at 9:30 pm that you have to move immediately. Some people probably weren't even in for the evening by then. I can only imagine the guest's shock and disappointment!

Or even waited until after Pride?!?! Timing seems somewhat suspicious. To bust a long-time gay hotel in the middle of their biggst week of the year.

To me it just seemed extra 'vindictive' and a bit over-the-top hauling mattresses out on a Friday night. from a gay hotel during gay Pride. Would have thought 24 hours notice and vacating the hotel of guests would have set better with the Tourist Bureau and public relations.
