Norwegian Cruise Line Webcams

If you like to watch the webcams on the ships in the Norwegian Cruise Line fleet, you can find them all here. These images are live via satellite (when the cameras are working) and will refresh every two minutes. Click on any image to go to the page for that ship on the Norwegian Cruise Line website.

For some reason, the NCL server is finicky about the URL to force a refresh even if cached, so if you see broken links, refresh the page and they should reload successfully.

Cruise Ship Webcams: A Complete List

' src=

Cruise ship webcams provide a real-time view of the front of the ship and its surroundings, allowing viewers to see the ship’s path, weather conditions, ports of call, and unprecedented views of the horizon.

Most cruise ships provide live webcam feeds, which can be viewed through the cabin TV. But if you want a taste of cruising, several cruise lines offer live webcam feeds online for the public to view.

Keep reading to find a list of cruise ships with live webcam feeds.

Table of Contents

Cruise Ship Webcams

Cruise ship webcams offer a real-time view of the ship’s surroundings. Nearly every cruise ship has a live webcam on the bow with views of the surrounding ocean, the ship’s path, or the local port of call when the ship is docked.

Some cruise ships also provide an aft webcam showcasing the ship’s wake.

The live webcams can be viewed from the in-stateroom TVs. It’s a fun way to see where the ship is when you wake up in the morning. And get a sneak peek of the port of call.

Some cruise lines provide webcam feeds online for the public to view.

Watching live webcams of cruise ships can be an exciting and immersive experience, especially for those who are unable to travel, excited about an upcoming cruise, or checking in on loved ones who are traveling.

But not all cruise lines provide live webcams for the public. Below is a list of cruise ships with live feeds you can view at home.

Important Note: Although cruise lines use the term “live webcams,” the webcam footage is commonly not a live video. Instead, the live webcams provided by cruise lines are often an image that is updated every 30 to 60 seconds.

Costa Cruises Webcams

Costa Cruises provides live webcam feeds that can be viewed on their website. They offer live feeds of the bow and aft from every ship in their fleet.

Not all cruise lines provide live webcam feeds.

When taking a look at the list below, you’ll notice a common theme.

Carnival Cruise Line Webcams

Carnival used to provide a live webcam feed on all cruise ships for the public to view. However, after the industry-wide pause in 2020, Carnival took the webcams offline.

Although cruising has resumed, the live webcam feeds have not returned.

Disney Cruise Line Webcams

Disney has never offered live webcams on any of their cruise ships.

MSC Cruises Webcams

MSC Cruises stopped providing live webcams in November 2019.

P&O Cruises Webcams

P&O Cruises used to provide public webcam streaming until the industry-wide shutdown in 2020. Although P&O Cruises has returned to sailing, they have not brought back their live webcams.

Royal Caribbean Webcams

Royal Caribbean International used to provide public webcam streaming until the industry-wide shutdown in 2020. Although the cruise lines have returned to sailing, they have not brought back their live webcams.

Virgin Voyages Webcams

Virgin Voyages is a relatively new cruise line. They have never offered live webcams to the public.

In April of 2023 we cruised from Boston to Bermuda. In the past I've cruised carnival and Viking. Viking is by far the best! The cruise of of Boston was ok! The room and ship were clean but things to watch out for when taking this cruise. You must buy the upgraded drink package. It entitles you to bottled water and Starbucks coffee, plus the top shelf liquor. If you don't want a ton of kids around, don't take this cruise ship, lots of kids. The food was ok, except for the upscale restaurants, they were terrific, so save your appetite. Lots of smokers and plenty of gambling. Most everything is an up charge. Bermuda is worth it! Definitely take this trip at the end of may or beginning of June. Weather is better. The island is small so do your homework so you can see it all while you're there. This island is safe.

Been in line for two hours to get on the ship. We're just standing here outside in 40 degree weather. Oh, and about 50 people were allowed to cut in front of us right when we got near the entrance. Haven't even left yet and this is my last cruise. Shitty beyond comprehension. Update, post trip: I've talked to several people who said the ship was delayed coming in due to high waters and that five guests also were unaccounted for, so the whole ship had to be searched. So I guess it was a horrible fluke having to wait outside. But they still could have managed it MUCH better. The staff on board was great as were the food and drinks. Some of the bars were poorly staffed and you had to wait in line for 5-10 minutes, which is sort of disappointing, but there were servers waking around in busy areas with seating, taking orders. The shows and nightly entertainment were quite good as was the theater. All in all a great trip but I think I'll stick to resorts for the future (more room, less crowding, not so many lines). Update 3: the disembark clustership is pretty much the same. Pass on this.

NCL continues to impress and make me feel special as I explore the planet with them! They know there is a lot of competition and they continue to provide super experiences before, during and after each cruise! So this trip was out of Boston up to PEI and back. During October (back end of the autumn leaf season). A tad over a month after the worst hurricane to hit PEI in over a hundred years. I mention the hurricane as there were concerns the cruise might not happen or significant changes would have to be made to stops/ports. NCL kept us up to date on the discussions and the options. As we got close, the original route was still on. The port excursions NCL works with are always managed perfectly. Obviously, NCL wants the passengers to enjoy, see, taste and have an amazing experience with each excursion! Plus, they want the excursion to get you back to the ship on time! Yes, you want to quickly reserve your excursions as there are thousands of people on board and on board other the other ships visiting these ports. There is advantages of frequent cruises on NCL (as well as other lines) as you get earlier windows to secure spots on excursions. (I suggest researching each port and the items to see well before booking.) On this trip, we maximized the excursion times to see and explore every minute possible. We succeeded and were on the first bus out and last bus load back to the ship 3 times. What that means, is for those days, we were immersed in the beauty, history, tastes, aromas, and knowledge every possible moment in one of the most relaxing, gorgeous, historic regions during the peak experience time! Those colors, those tastes, and those experiences are deeply carved within my memory. I learned very much from guides that I was eager to catch every word and see everything they pointed out. So, the ship, the NCL Pearl, not the largest of their fleet, but perfect size for the ports. Exceptionally well maintained, crew was fantastic and it had the important plus some delightful dining options on board. Yes there are fine dining options, but I like the option of ME deciding what I want on my plate without having to have a server involved, so I was very happy eating at the buffet. We did do the Japanese Steakhouse and that was fun. The on ship entertainment of musicians and comedians was very good. I was a fan of a couple by end of the cruise. Where to find me on the ship? I'm seldom in my cabin (if so, likely on the balcony). I'm most likely outside, watching an entertainer or circling the ship. I'm not fond of the short walking tracks so I'll circle decks and get in a lot of stair time (morning as the cabins are being serviced is my favorite walking time as the carts and meeting oncoming traffic make for great core involvement). LOL Costs - well, this is a floating 5 star resort with a different view each morning. Keep watching the prices as that way you can get some deals as they drop prices as it gets closer to your cruise date. The costs were absolutely worth it for this adventure.

We recently traveled on the Pearl(Boston to Bermuda) and could not have been less impressed. The rooms were dirty, ship was old and dingy, food was awful!!!!! Inedible at most meals!!! Customer service was a joke! They do not care about your experience in the slightest, give your money to someone else. Family member found a false eyelash in his bed, so I'm guessing the sheets weren't changed from the cruise prior. That's just nasty. Do yourself a favor and try Royal Caribbean.

Worst customer service ever. Will never be taking another cruise with them! Back to Princess cruises. Food on most occasions was inedible. Tough meat hard to cut or chew and pretty much same selections every night. Tasteless. Expensive excursions that were not as they described.

Cruises returned after the last two years of being in limbo. This was the first cruise I ever went on as it was the Boston to Bermuda one. Overall I'd say it was a really good experience. Not perfect but one that I'd definitely recommend. The rooms have plenty of choices. Getting a room with a balcony is definitely ideal. Nothing better than viewing the ocean from your room. The cruise was also massive in size. There's 13 floors! There's complimentary buffets, some meals and drinks you can get free with some packages. An example was I got to choose two high end restaurants to eat at free. There's a lot of entertainment, a really fun pool deck at the top, there's plenty of bars for the drinkers, a casino, karaoke, a massage parlor, performing arts theater, singing entertainment and more. A lot for everyone. The staffing here was great. We live in a era of staff shortages but I think this cruise did it right. It was not at full capacity for passengers but I think there still was about 70 to 80 percent when I went on it. The staff was very friendly and waited on us hand and foot for anything. I liked the people at the buffet who sang songs and said "washy washy" to clean our hands. I looked at past reviews here and some said that this cruise was filthy and maybe it was years ago but not anymore. It was as clean as could be when I went on it in 2022. However I'd say the demographic for this cruise was definitely of the older crowd. The majority looked over 60 and there's nothing wrong with that but for the younger crowd who wants to hang with people their own age, maybe look into a different cruise. I saw more people in wheelchairs there than children. That's not a bad thing either but demographics is important. Overall no major complaints. The cruise schedule to Bermuda was spot on schedule and the cruise provided plenty of off shore excursions to do.

Recently went on a Norwegian Cruise out of Miami on the Encore. The ship was beautiful, the food was good in specialty restaurants, and the cabin Steward was very kind. Ater traveling on multiple cruises I may not go on another NCL cruise, the management staff was rude and not helpful. we booked through NCL because we traveled with handicapped friend, so we were worried about transportation to and from the ship to the airport, going was perfect, coming home was a nightmare. I went to the desk prior to exit off the ship and they booked us on a bus to the airport, I explained we needed a handicap vehicle similar to the way we came down (which they booked). they were absolutely no help and the attitude of the manager at the front desk was submissive, NCL should be ashamed of how they treat us and my friend, they say they are handicapped supportive, well maybe you should give your management staff that message. We did get to the airport not because of NCLs help we found a kind bus driver who was able to get us transportation. I will never do another NCL cruise again.

Photo of Samita J.

I wish I had seen their 2 star rating when I booked my cruise. Just to recap: I went in December. Horrible service. It is impossible to reach a manager or anyone to provide decent service. 5 messages to the contact us section on the website, 3 emails to Corporate, and 4 voice mails to customer relations. Just head back from customer relations and they tried to tell me they have my voice mails (returned theirs) with no information for what I want. Seriously??? You have none of my messages? Get your act together. And anyone looking up information online? NCL keeps raising their prices for services. Probably because their services are awful and no one is tipping. Spare yourself and go with someone else.

The 5 best destinations you can visit on a Norwegian Cruise Line ship

T hinking of booking a cruise with Norwegian Cruise Line ? You have a lot of choices. The Miami-based line operates vessels in almost every corner of the world, with a wide range of itineraries in many destinations.

You'll find Norwegian ships everywhere from the Caribbean and the Bahamas to Europe, Asia and Australia. The line is also a big player in Hawaii.

For more cruise guides, news and tips, sign up for TPG's cruise newsletter.

In addition, Norwegian is particularly known for cruises to Bermuda out of Boston and New York City, and it offers Canada and New England cruises regularly. It also operates some Panama Canal sailings and trips from the West Coast of the U.S. to the Mexican Riviera.

In North America, Norwegian ships sail from a relatively wide range of home ports, including Baltimore; Boston; New York City; Miami and Tampa; Galveston, Texas; San Juan, Puerto Rico; New Orleans; San Diego, Los Angeles and San Francisco; Seattle; Honolulu; Vancouver, British Columbia; Quebec City and Quebec in Canada; and Seward, Alaska.

Here is a look at the best destinations you can visit on a Norwegian Cruise Line ship.

Related: The ultimate guide to Norwegian Cruise Line

Some of Norwegian's most exciting itineraries are in Europe, where the line is a significant player. It offers a wide range of itineraries in the Mediterranean and across northern Europe.

Norwegian will typically deploy around half of its 19 ships to the continent from spring to fall, making Europe its biggest focus for more than half the year. Norwegian also sometimes offers Europe cruises in the winter — albeit typically with just one ship.

Norwegian's Mediterranean sailings provide the chance to see such iconic destinations as Barcelona in Spain; and Florence, Rome and Naples in Italy in a single cruise. Or, you can sign up for a Mediterranean cruise that focuses on the Greek Islands.

In northern Europe, Norwegian will take you to such famed Baltic cities as Stockholm; Tallinn, Estonia; and Helsinki in a single sailing.

In past years, such Baltic trips have also included a multiday call at St. Petersburg, Russia — traditionally the highlight of any Baltic sailings. However, like all major cruise lines, Norwegian pulled St. Petersburg from Baltic itineraries in response to Russia's invasion of Ukraine.

As of the publishing of this guide, Norwegian had opened bookings for all of its Baltic sailing through late 2025, and St. Petersburg remains off the schedule for all of them. The line hasn't said when it might return to St. Petersburg.

For those looking to explore northern Europe, Norwegian also offers itineraries that zero in on Iceland, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

Norwegian's Europe voyages range widely in length from just four nights to a whopping 19 nights (for a repositioning cruise itinerary that begins in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and ends in the European city of Lisbon).

Among the longest sailings that Norwegian offers that focus solely on European stops is a one-way trips between Reykjavik, Iceland, and Oslo, Norway, that includes a wide range of stops in Greenland, Iceland, Denmark's Faroe Islands and Norway.

In Northern Europe, Norwegian ships mostly sail out of Amsterdam, Stockholm, Copenhagen, England's Southampton and Reykjavík in Iceland.

In the Mediterranean, the line's hubs are Barcelona; Civitavecchia (the port for Rome) and Trieste (near Venice) in Italy; Piraeus (the port for Athens) in Greece; and Istanbul.

Norwegian isn't the biggest player in Alaska cruises. The giants of cruising to Alaska are Princess Cruises and Holland America , two brands that are sister lines to each other and control a large percentage of the market.

Still, Norwegian typically sends three to five vessels to Alaska every summer, and its big, activity-filled ships are a popular pick with families looking to visit the destination.

The Alaska cruise season is a short one, lasting roughly from April to late October.

For 2024, Norwegian plans to deploy four ships to the Alaska market for the full season:

  • Norwegian Encore : Norwegian's biggest vessel will operate seven-night voyages to Alaska round trip out of Seattle. It will call at the Alaska towns of Skagway, Juneau and Ketchikan, plus Victoria, British Columbia. It will also visit Alaska's Glacier Bay National Park for glacier viewing.
  • Norwegian Sun: This ship will operate a mix of nine- to 10-night sailings to Alaska out of Seattle. The list of port calls varies based on the length of the trips.
  • Norwegian Bliss : The 3,958-passenger vessel will operate seven-night voyages to Alaska round trip out of Seattle. On most sailings, it will call at Sitka, Juneau, Ketchikan and Icy Strait Point in Alaska, plus Victoria, British Columbia. It will also visit Alaska's Endicott Arm for glacier viewing. Some sailings at the start and end of the season substitute a visit to Skagway and Glacier Bay National Park for the stops in Sitka and Icy Strait Point, and drop the visit to Endicott Arm.
  • Norwegian Jewel. The 2,330-passenger ship will operate one-way voyages to Alaska between Vancouver, British Columbia, and Seward, Alaska. The trips typically include stops in Juneau, Skagway and Ketchikan, plus a visit to either Glacier Bay National Park or Icy Strait Point.

In recent years, the 1,972-passenger Norwegian Spirit also has spent its summers sailing in Alaska, but most of its Alaska voyages for 2024 were canceled as a result of the vessel being chartered to another company (Norwegian still is marketing two unusual one-way voyages to Alaska on Norwegian Spirit that will take place at the start of the 2024 season — the first a 16-night trip to Alaska that starts in Honolulu on April 22 and ends in Vancouver; the second an 18-night trip that starts May 8 in Vancouver and ends in Tokyo).

The appeal of the one-way sailings on Norwegian Jewel is that they can be combined with Norwegian-organized land tours of Alaska lasting from three to six days to create 10- to 13-night "cruisetours."

The land tour portion of such trips brings visits to such well-known interior Alaska locations as Denali National Park and the town of Fairbanks.

The Caribbean and the Bahamas

The Caribbean and the Bahamas have always been a big area of operations for Norwegian. In fact, for a long time, the regions were so much the focus that the line included "Caribbean" in its name. Up until 1987, Norwegian was known as Norwegian Caribbean Line.

These days, Norwegian usually keeps just two of its 19 vessels in the Caribbean and the Bahamas year-round (in recent years, the year-round ships have been Norwegian Sky and Norwegian Escape, both sailing to the Caribbean and the Bahamas from Florida ports). However, it really ramps things up in the region in the winter, when it deploys a large portion of its ships to the Caribbean and the Bahamas.

Norwegian currently has 15 of its 19 ships scheduled to sail to the Caribbean and the Bahamas for at least part of 2024 — including its newest and most advanced ship, the 3,195-passenger Norwegian Viva.

Related: I've sailed on nearly every Norwegian ship. Here are my first impressions of Norwegian Prima

Norwegian offers a broad range of Caribbean and Bahamas itineraries from more than half a dozen home ports. If you're looking for something short, the line has you covered in the form of lots of quick, three- and four-night trips from Miami to the Bahamas.

It also offers an abundance of seven-night sailings to Caribbean and Bahamian ports, as well as a handful of longer trips in the region that range from nine to 14 nights.

At the core of the line's Caribbean and Bahamas program are its seven-night sailings, which break down into three broad categories:

  • Eastern Caribbean voyages
  • Western Caribbean voyages
  • Southern Caribbean voyages

A typical seven-night Norwegian sailing to the Eastern Caribbean includes stops in St. Thomas, U.S. Virgin Islands; Tortola, British Virgin Islands; Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic; and Great Stirrup Cay, Norwegian's private island in the Bahamas.

Norwegian's seven Western Caribbean voyages will typically include a visit to Roatan, Honduras; Harvest Caye, Belize; and Costa Maya and Cozumel in Mexico.

The line's Southern Caribbean itineraries will often bring visits to Aruba, Bonaire, Curacao, St. Lucia and St. Kitts. They typically begin and end in San Juan, Puerto Rico.

When sailing to the Caribbean, Norwegian ships generally sail out of Miami, Port Canaveral and Tampa in Florida; and San Juan, Puerto Rico. The line also offers Caribbean sailings out of Baltimore, Galveston, New Orleans, New York City and, occasionally, Panama City, Panama, and La Romana, Dominican Republic.

Norwegian is the undisputed leader in Hawaii cruises. Most cruise lines that offer sailings to Hawaii only offer a limited number of such trips during a few months each year. Norwegian, by contrast, offers sailings around the Hawaiian Islands out of Honolulu every week of the year — the only cruise line in the world to do so.

Norwegian's Hawaii voyages are also more intensely focused on Hawaii than the Hawaii trips offered by most other lines. This is because Norwegian offers its Hawaii cruises on one of the only cruise ships in the world that meets the regulatory requirements allowing it to spend all its time in the destination.

Norwegian's Hawaii trips take place on Norwegian's 2,150-passenger Pride of America, which has the rare distinction of being both U.S.-flagged and U.S.-crewed. By law, only such a vessel can cruise full-time in Hawaii without regularly traveling long distances to foreign ports.

An iconic presence in Hawaii, Pride of America has been permanently dedicated to the archipelago since its debut in 2005. It offers a repeating seven-night itinerary that begins each Saturday in Honolulu and brings the chance to visit four different Hawaiian islands on a single seven-night trip.

Beginning and ending on the island of Oahu, the itinerary includes two days each on the islands of Maui, Kauai and Hawaii. The two-day visit to Maui involves an overnight stay at the port of Kahului.

The two-day visit to Kauai involves an overnight stay at the port of Nawiliwili. The two-day visit to Hawaii is split between a call at Hilo and a call at Kona.

Related: The 8 classes of Norwegian ships, explained

Norwegian usually deploys two ships on Bermuda runs every year — one out of New York City and one out of Boston.

In both cases, the sailings offered are mostly seven nights in length and include a two-night stay in Bermuda.

For 2024, Norwegian will devote one of its biggest ships, the 3,782-passenger Norwegian Joy, to Bermuda. It will run out of New York. The line's 2,344-passenger Norwegian Gem will sail to Bermuda out of Boston.

In addition, the line's 3,903-passenger Norwegian Getaway will operate a handful of sailings to Bermuda out of New York during the early part of 2024 that include stops in the Caribbean (something that is relatively rare), and the 3,903-passenger Norwegian Breakaway will operate a few sailings to Bermuda out of New York toward the end of 2024.

The line's relatively new Norwegian Prima will operate a single Bermuda sailing out of New York at the end of 2024.

While most of Norwegian's Bermuda sailings are seven nights in length, the line also sometimes offers a few shorter four- and five-night Bermuda sailings and, occasionally, a longer, nine-night Bermuda sailing.

Note that the shorter Bermuda sailings can offer very little time in the country, sometimes as few as nine hours.

Bottom line

Norwegian offers a wide range of itineraries in destinations around the world, from the Caribbean to Asia. However, you'll find the most choices among Norwegian itineraries in the Caribbean and Europe.

The line is also well-known for voyages around Hawaii and to Bermuda. Its Hawaii sailings, in particular, are something of a rarity in the industry.

Mehrere Tote bei Zusammenstoß von Motorboot mit Flusskreuzfahrtschiff

Heidelberg (Archiv, 2018 / Bild: Lutz Blohm)
