Bad Bunny's Most Wanted Tour: Everything to Know

Bad Bunny

Get all the details on the Puerto Rican superstar's fifth concert tour, including the dates and setlist.

Bad Bunny  has officially kicked off his highly anticipated Most Wanted Tour!

The 29-year-old Puerto Rican superstar launched his fifth concert tour on Feb. 21 in Salt Lake City, Utah, and on Saturday, he took over San Francisco's Chase Center for his second sold-out show at the venue.

ET was on hand for the concert, which was a departure from his 2022 record-breaking tour,  El Último Tour del Mundo . Unlike the last tour -- which amassed over $435 million, according to  Billboard ,  and featured more upbeat party hits -- Bad Bunny fully embraces his "King of Latin Trap" title as he returns to his trap music roots by performing songs from his latest album,  Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.

Bad Bunny's concert was full of surprises from start to finish. In addition to the updated setlist, the show features three different stages (including a floating catwalk), a full orchestra, inclusive choreography, a ton of pyrotechnics, incredible light shows, and even a real-life horse.

During the second act of the show, Bad Bunny makes his way to one of the stages on horseback as part of the tour's Wild West theme. In fact, PETA recently slammed the musician for the concert stunt, telling Newsweek ,  "Horses are extremely skittish individuals, and they're not props to be ridden across a stage amid flashing lights, booming music and noisy crowds. As they're easily spooked, this could have ended in tragedy, all for an absurd and thoughtless gimmick." The "Where She Goes" rapper has yet to issue a public response.

While the majority of the concert consists of Bad Bunny singing hit after hit, the performer does take a moment during the middle of the show to share his appreciation for his fans.

"I want to thank you for being here tonight once again. San Francisco, thank you for being here. I appreciate it so much," he told the crowd in Spanish, before asking how everybody was feeling.

As the crowd cheered, Bad Bunny continued: "With this place full of so many people, it is impossible for each of you to be feeling good. It's impossible. I am 100 percent sure that perhaps many of you tonight are going through a situation in your lives, a concern, a difficult moment, but either way, you came out... you left your problems outside and are here spending the night with me... Thank you very much. You guys also make me feel better, so thank you."

Bad Bunny has long been open about his mental health struggles , and during his performance on Sunday, he spoke about how some days are harder than others, saying some days he wakes up not wanting to do anything, and other days, he feels like "moving the world."

"It's part of life," he told the audience. "We have those moments where we're not totally OK. It's part of the day-to-day process."

Following his only speech of the night, Bad Bunny transitioned into an acoustic set, accompanied by a piano, before closing out the show with some of his more popular hits, including "Dakiti," "Me Porto Bonito," and "Where She Goes."

BAD BUNNY kicks off Most Wanted Tour

Bad Bunny’s Most Wanted Tour has arrived. Amid horse riding and a grand performance by The Philharmonic Orchestra Project, the Puerto Rican superstar began his tour — promoted by Live Nation — in Salt Lake City, Utah, on Wednesday (Feb. 21) looking like a modern-day Western cowboy outlaw at the Delta Center sports arena.

Bad Bunny Announces His 2024 Most Wanted Tour: Here Are the Dates

Bunny’s 37-song setlist for his first night ran through most of his discography. While largely focusing on his latest — Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana — Bad Bunny also paid homage to his earlier work, as well as his trap roots. The concert kicked off with a 10-minute musical introduction by the 24 musicians of The Philharmonic Orchestra Project, under the leadership of Carlitos Lopez. Spanning two hours, the show was divided into four segments, guiding the audience through Bunny’s disparate musical facets.

How to Score Tickets to Bad Bunny’s Most Wanted Tour

Accompanied by 20 dancers in his Salt Lake City performance, Bad Bunny utilized two stages, enhancing the storytelling aspect and engaging attendees the Bad Bunny way — riveting showcases, pyrotechnics and a horse while channeling a modern-day Western cowboy outlaw.

After his show at the Delta Center, he’ll perform to sold-out crowds in Las Vegas, then continues around the country to Phoenix, San Francisco, Austin, Atlanta, Orlando and more. There will also be multi-night stops of the tour, including three-night stints in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and Miami, where it’ll wrap up on May 26.

Bad Bunny rides horse into Nashville's Bridgestone Arena. Here are the top moments from 'Most Wanted Tour' concert stop

bad bunny tour official website

On Saturday night, the King of Latin Trap summoned his inner cowboy, riding horseback into Bridgestone Arena during his "Most Wanted Tour" concert.

The Puerto Rican singer, rapper and global pop star delivered a 37-song, high energy concert in Nashville that combined elements of the fine arts, Latin pop and western culture.

Bad Bunny drew from classic trap sounds, conversational rap and reggaeton. But, he also incorporated elements of classical music, rock, bachata and soul into his show, blending genres in the trademark manner that grew him one of the biggest fanbases in the world.

Best known for songs "PERRO NEGRO," "un x100to" and "MONACO," Bad Bunny, born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, is one of the top global streaming artists.

He's won three Grammys and was a top touring artist in 2022. Bad Bunny took a break from touring extensively last year, but hit the road again this year.

Need a break? Play the USA TODAY Daily Crossword Puzzle.

In October, he released his newest album “ nadie sabe lo que va a pasar mañana ” (which translates to: "nobody knows what will happen tomorrow"), which became the most streamed album in a single day in 2023 on Spotify.

Bad Bunny's tour in support of his fifth studio album kicked off in February in Salt Lake City, UT, and will run through May, ending in Miami, FL.

Nashville fans filed into Bridgestone Arena dressed to the tour's theme, wearing western garb that leaned into the "Most Wanted" cowboy outlaw energy.

Many fans showed up in cowboy hats and boots or bandanas tied around their neck. Some opted for the sleek all-black look with fishnets. Others nodded to Bad Bunny himself, wearing backwards hats, thick chains and skinny sunglasses.

Some audience members brought Puerto Rican flags with them, waving them around in the arena.

One fan, Christian Rivera, had a small flag with him in the show.

Rivera, a Puerto Rican Nashvillian, said he felt represented at the concert.

"Someone from your culture coming out here and putting on a show instead of (only country artists), to me, that's a bigger deal," he said.

The evening's concert was a tight two-hour show split into four distinct acts. Each portion of the show had its own feel, flair and notable moments.

Much of the show included laser lights, pyrotechnics, moving platforms, bursts of fire and smoke, and a larger-than-life production that bordered on spectacle.

Here are the concert's top moments, act by act.

Act I: 'Nadie Sabe'

The show began shortly after 9 p.m. CST, with no openers hitting the stage before Bad Bunny.

But, Bad Bunny did enlist the help of an orchestra who performed a 10-minute sweeping, orchestral overture leading up to his arrival.

The arena was set up with two crescent-shaped stages separated by the audience in between, one inhabited by the orchestra and the other empty.

The show began with orange lights and smoke pouring over the orchestra as they played, wearing black suits and stunning the crowd with strings and horns.

On the other stage, Bad Bunny ascended from an under-stage platform as the crowd chanted "Benito."

He kicked off the night with "Nadie Sabe," wearing a black suit like the orchestra members, a white shirt, a bolo tie (which he later threw into the crowd), a backwards hat and a studded black scarf.

Bunny performed "Nadie Sabe," "Monaco" and "Fina" with the accompaniment of the orchestra, adding layers of instrumental harmony to his Latin trap sound.

The first portion of the show saw hits like "Hibiki," "Mr. October" and "Seda," showing Bad Bunny rapping and singing in his slurred, sensual style. He danced on stage, jumped and skipped, leaning into his pop stardom with an entourage of 18 backup dancers.

His dancers wore cowboy chaps and alternated between unchoreographed, smooth, slinking movements to highly coordinated hip-hop dance routines.

The end of Act I came with song "Baticano," where Bad Bunny descended back into the stage via the moving platform, pushed down by his backup dancers wearing ghoul masks and hooded cloaks.

Act II: Trap

Act II began with an attention-grabber.

Bad Bunny rode horseback into the arena , entering from backstage on the back of a trotting brown horse, to the surprise of fans in the arena.

Bad Bunny has been entering on horseback for the second act since the tour's kick-off; some fans have criticized his use of an animal in the show after the entrance began going viral at the end of February.

Some concert-goers have called attention to animal rights, creating a debate that discusses the ethics of animals in the music and entertainment space.

Though the horseback entrance has been widely publicized, many fans were still astonished by Benito's return to the stage.

He kicked off act two with "Telefono Nuevo," and played hits like "Pa Ti," "No Te Hagas" and "Vuelve."

Notable, in Act II, was the fact that fans were wearing light up lanyards provided by the venue, coordinated in time with Bad Bunny's stage lights.

As he sang and rapped and lights flashed around him, blinking lights twinkled from fan's lanyards around the whole arena, creating a visual display that reached far beyond just the stage. The fans were part of the decor.

The act ended with a show-stopping performance of "Thunder Y Lightning" that simulated a thunderstorm, showing flashing strobes reminiscent of lighting and bursts of smoke like storm clouds.

Act III: Piano ballads

Act III leaned into a softer side of Bad Bunny's sound.

He sat on top of a grand piano and sang "Gracias por Nada" and "Un x100to," delivering an emotive, heartfelt performance.

Here, Bad Bunny reminded his fans that he doesn't just rap, he sings in a crisp tenor tone that is so remarkably clean it sounds like natural auto-tune.

The brief Act III added depth to Bad Bunny's concert, showcasing his breadth as an artist.

Act IV: Perreo

The final act brought perreo, a reggaeton dance portion.

For the last part of the show, the backup dancers returned and a DJ joined Bad Bunny, creating a fast switch-up from the piano-backed ballads just moments earlier.

Bad Bunny performed hits "Perro Negro," "La Jumpa," "Me Porto Bonito" and the encore "Where She Goes."

The quick-paced portion of the show showcased bursts of fire and flashing lights, an arena of dancing, screaming fans and an energetic momentum that carried to the concert's final moments.

Bad Bunny told the crowd time and time again his appreciation for them and Nashville, sharing the love and gratitude he felt on this tour.

"Buenos noches," he said. "Muchas gracias, Nashville!"

Bad Bunny announces 2024 North American Most Wanted tour

Bad Bunny has announced his forthcoming North American tour plans for next year in support of his latest album, Nadie Sabe Lo Que Va a Pasar Mañana.

Released last week, the highly-anticipated 22-song record is the 29-year-old Puerto Rican rapper and singer’s first release since he lost out to Harry Styles at the Grammys in February .

On Thursday (19 October), Bad Bunny (real name Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio) shared a poster of his 2024 North American tour dates on social media.

“No one knows what will happen tomorrow. Don’t let it escape. Because there’s a chance you won’t be able to see it again,” reads a caption on the poster beneath a black and white snapshot of Bad Bunny from his early days as a trap star.

“If you’re not a real fan, don’t come,” reads another blurb on the poster.

The more than 50-plus date tour will kick off in Salt Lake City, Utah, on 21 February 2024. The artist will stop at cities including Seattle, Washington; Los Angeles, California; New York, New York; and Toronto, Ontario. It will conclude in Miami, Florida on 26 May 2024.

More dates and locations are expected to be added soon.

In an effort to block bots and scalpers, Bad Bunny has requested fans register for the Most Wanted Tour through Live Nation to “get more tickets to real people who want to attend the show”.

Registration is open now until 22 October but does not guarantee registrants access to purchase tickets. Access is granted to fans at random, with others being placed on a waiting list.

The news comes ahead of the “Me Porto Bonito” singer’s return to host and perform on Saturday Night Live next week. His appearance on the second week of the popular sketch comedy’s 49th season follows the show’s delayed return to TV due to the resolution of the Writers Guild of America (WGA) strike in September.

Bad Bunny made his SNL debut in 2021 as a musical guest alongside host Regé-Jean Page ( Bridgerton ).

Bad Bunny returns to Met Gala in fashionable flair: See the head-turning look

bad bunny tour official website

Bad Bunny might be the "Most Wanted" man on the road − but on fashion's biggest night , he's a patron saint of la moda.

The reggaeton superstar, currently on his headlining Most Wanted tour , took a break from the musical action to co-chair the 2024 Met Gala at the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City Monday night.

Bad Bunny stunned in a suave navy-blue Maison Margiela Artisanal suit by John Galliano, which he topped off with a plush hat and matching floral bouquet, reflecting the Met Gala's nature-inspired dress code of "The Garden of Time."

The "Monaco" emcee gave some insight into the meticulous preparation that went into his gala attire during an episode of Vogue’s “73 Questions” in April.

"You can't really improvise for the Met," Bad Bunny told the fashion outlet in Spanish, before playfully adding, "If I want to attend a different red carpet and decide to wear boxers last minute, I do it."

Bad Bunny’s sartorial splash follows his appearance at last year’s Met Gala .

The Puerto Rican rapper, known for his gender-nonconforming approach to style , pushed the envelope for men’s fashion with a white Jacquemus suit and rosette-covered cape. He paired an open-backed jacket with a floor-dusting cape covered with roses and slicked his hair back with pearl studs.

Before Bad Bunny dropped into the Big Apple for Met Gala festivities, he performed a concert in Dallas Saturday for his tour. His next show is scheduled to take place Tuesday in New Orleans.
