Jeremy Clarkson has addressed the news of his Grand Tour exit while also providing an update on his other Amazon Prime Video venture, Clarkson’s Farm.

News emerged on Wednesday (29 November) that Clarkson and his two longtime co-presenters Richard Hammond and James May were leaving The Grand Tour after the release of their final special next year.

The series sees the three hosts travel to far-flung places to complete automobile-related challenges.

On Instagram Thursday, Clarkson shared a photo of a sunset from his Gloucestershire farm on Instagram alongside the caption: “Been a busy day. No more Grand Tour after next year but a LOT more Clarkson’s Farm . Which, this evening, is looking extremely lovely.”

The former Top Gear host had posted a teaser for the third season of his farming series on Instagram a day earlier.

The popular show follows Clarkson as he attempts to make his farm in the Cotswolds profitable. The first two series are available to stream on Prime Video.

Clarkson, Hammond and May hosted the BBC’s flagship car show Top Gear together from 2002 to 2015. When Clarkson was dismissed after attacking a producer on the set of the show, May and Hammond also left, with all three moving to Prime Video in 2016 to film The Grand Tour .

The trio have just returned from filming in Zimbabwe , which will be their last outing with the series. The next Grand Tour special is set in Mauritania and will launch in February 2024.

The Independent understands that the hit series will not necessarily end with the current hosts’ departure and that other options, including new presenters, are being explored.

After the original trio’s exit, Top Gear continued with new hosts, including Chris Evans, Matt Le Blanc, and, as of 2019, it’s been hosted by Chris Harris, Andrew Flintoff and Paddy McGuinness .

However, the show was axed last week after Flintoff was involved in a car crash while filming last December.

The former cricketer and TV host, 45, was airlifted to hospital after his open-topped three-wheel Morgan Super 3 flipped over and slid along the track when he was driving at a high speed.

He suffered a broken rib, as well as facial and jaw injuries as a result of the accident. Last month, it was reported that Flintoff had agreed a financial settlement with the BBC worth £9m.

Jeremy Clarkson in Clarkson's Farm

Jeremy Clarkson is back for season 3 of hit series Clarkson’s Farm this week.

The former  Top Gear  star, 63,  swapped fast cars for farming  in recent years,  with cameras following his efforts  after purchasing land in the Cotswolds and establishing his Diddly Squat farm.

The show has been a massive hit for the streaming service Amazon Prime , with the latest season now available to watch.

This time around Jeremy, along with newly-minted farm manager Kaleb Cooper face plenty more challenges, including the death of some beloved animals , attacks by others and even an infestation of…mushrooms.

It’s now been three years since the series first hit screens and since the Diddly Squat Farm Shop has been established, fans have flocked to Chipping Norton to visit.

If you are one of the people planning a road trip soon, here’s everything you need to know about visiting.

Where is Diddly Squat Farm located?

Jeremy Clarkson’s pride and joy – Diddly Squat Farm – is located in the heart of the C otswolds , in Oxfordshire.

Its address is 5-12 Chipping Norton Road, Chadlington, Chipping Norton, OX7 3PE .

That’s around two hours by car from central London, one hour and 20 minutes from Birmingham, and an hour and a half from Bristol.

Oxford is the closest big city, being just 40 minutes away by road.

Is Diddly Squat Farm open to the public?

Jeremy’s rural retreat now boasts two attractions open to the public – the Diddly Squat Farm Shop and The Big View Café.

According to the official website , the shop (described as a ‘Cotswolds-based emporium of edible delights. And potatoes’) promises to stock ‘no-nonsense things’ that the public will like.

Items available to buy include clothing like caps, socks, T-shirts and jumpers, as well as candles and soaps.

For those looking to pick up something to try at home, there’s also honey, coffee, jams and honey.

The Big View Café boasts ‘incredible food’, the ‘best hamburgers in the world’ and a full bar, which will stock Jeremy’s own Hawkstone lager.

It is open from 9.30am-4.30pm Wednesdays to Sundays, as well as on Bank Holidays.

You can also order many of its products online for worldwide delivery.

It was also recently announced Amazon Fresh is also now stocking items from the shop.

Although there were concerns that Clarkson’s Farm might be cancelled after Jeremy wrote a column taking aim at Meghan Markle last year, Amazon later confirmed the show would be returning.

Last month the trailer was released , which began with a clip showing Jeremy being warned by the local council that he had to shut down the restaurant he had opened on the farm.

After deciding to also introduce pigs on the farm, a rollercoaster of emotions ensues, with Jeremy finding pig vomit in his jacket at one point, and watching two in action when breeding but then facing piglets dying in ‘alarming numbers’.

At another point, the stars of the show are forced to wear face masks as they enter a room filled with enormous mushrooms.

Part one has now been released and will be followed by part two next Friday with each batch consisting of four episodes

Clarkson’s Farm is streaming on Amazon Prime Video.

Jeremy Clarkson on ‘The Grand Tour’ Ending: I’m ‘Unfit and Fat and Old’

Grand Tour Season 2 Jeremy Clarkson

When the news came out in December that “ The Grand Tour ” — Jeremy Clarkson , James May and Richard Hammond’s post-“Top Gear” automotive series — would be coming to an end , fans were left wondering why.

But, in a new interview with The Times , Clarkson has delivered a cheeky yet straightforward answer: it’s because he’s “unfit and fat and old.”

Clarkson told The Times that the show “is immensely physical, and when you’re unfit and fat and old, which I am…” He also feels the trio has done just about “everything you can do with a car.”

Popular on Variety

There are still two more specials of “The Grand Tour,” one set to premiere next month and another which filmed in Zimbabwe and will launch later this year. Options to continue the series with different hosts are being explored but have not yet been greenlit, sources told Variety in December.

“James May thinks there’s never been a more interesting time for how we move around and he’s probably right, but I don’t think it’s very interesting television,” Clarkson continued. “An electric car is no different from a chest freezer or a microwave oven. There’s no glamour or excitement. This week on ‘Top Chest Freezer’! I think it suits the written media more.”

In addition to continuing his car review column for the Sunday Times and his popular Amazon show “Clarkson’s Farm,” the presenter is hosting a new series of “Who Wants to Be a Millionaire?,” which premieres Jan. 28 on ITV1.

Jeremy Clarkson reveals why he prefers filming Clarkson's Farm to The Grand Tour

Jeremy Clarkson has opened up about the differences between filming Clarkson’s Farm and The Grand Tour.

“I don’t have to pretend to be someone else [while filming Clarkson’s Farm],” Clarkson shared. “See, The Grand Tour: Richard Hammond isn’t as stupid as he’s made out, I’m not as bombastic as it’s made out, and James May isn’t quite as boring as he’s made out.

“You’re playing a caricature,” he continued. “You’re playing a role, you know. You’re there to provoke and you know, be stupid. [On Clarkson’s Farm], we haven’t got any of that. So we’re just ourselves.”

The TV star continued by explaining how he finds this arrangement a lot more “relaxing” compared to having to act like his Grand Tour "caricature".

“You just get up and you just have to be yourself , which is incredibly relaxing,” the presenter explained. “And in that regard, it is effortless.

“I mean, farming is not effortless ,” he stressed. “But the television side of it is a piece of cake because I don’t have to think: ‘I have to say something idiotic now.’”

But while Jeremy is confident his Grand Tour persona is a caricature, it appears his Clarkson’s Farm colleagues are not quite so sure. Also present for the Diddly Squat Farm-based Q&A, farming star Kaleb Cooper later quipped to the presenter: “You do that anyway,” when it comes to making said “idiotic” remarks.

Clarkson’s Farm season three will focus more on the rivalry between Jeremy and Kaleb, as the two go head-to-head in an attempt to make the most money (or the least losses) from farming different sections of the farm.

Clarkson’s Farm Part 1 will debut on Prime Video on Friday, 3rd May. Part 2 will be released a week later on 10th May.

Brian Cox Signs For Season 2 Of Amazon Prime Video's '007: Road To A Million'

Each of the first three seasons has chronicled a year on Diddly Squat, Clarkson’s 1,000-acre farm nestled in the ancient stone villages of the Cotswolds. Once better known as a member of the Chipping Norton set (a wealthy Cotswolds clique that includes ex-prime minister David Cameron), the presenter is now more synonymous with drilling grain into fields in his Lamborghini tractor. The transformation was not inevitable. Wilman admits to having serious jitters during the making of Season 1 in 2019. Could Clarkson cope without his co-hosts? Would he be a fish out of water but without the comedy?

“I don’t think we saw the real magic until the sheep arrived,” Wilman says, reflecting on the anarchic arrival of drone-herded mutton in Season 1. “And obviously Kaleb [Cooper] bollocking Jeremy. Those are the moments where you go: alright, we’ve really got something here.”

Clarkson's Farm

This community is what grounds Clarkson’s Farm and gives it that most precious of TV commodities: authenticity. “Everybody wants to be in that little world because it’s a bit of a 1950s world where a big problem is a cow that’s in trouble, or a dam that’s not mended. Very little of consequence happens,” Wilman says. “It’s like an escape pod. Forget all your troubles and be on Clarkson’s Farm .”

Season 2’s story arc follows Clarkson’s fight against local planning authorities as he seeks to build a Diddly Squat restaurant. Season 3’s throughline was not so obvious, but Clarkson came up with the idea of splitting the farm with Cooper and competing to see who can make the most money from the land. It’s a wheeze straight out of his Top Gear days, but Wilman says the idea is also a testament to Clarkson’s eye for “journalistic detail,” keeping viewers informed and giving them an insight into the brutal economics of farming. Clarkson may be wealthier than his counterparts — a fact Clarkson’s Farm often addresses head-on — but that does not mean he is any less invested in the farm’s success.

“He’s a restless man, he needs work, he needs things to do. And he loves that farm, he’s really at peace in that place,” Wilman says of his friend. Farm’s success on Amazon has been a happy by-product: “He never saw this coming in his career [at the age of] 64. He thought his big end moment was that we end The Grand Tour successfully.”

Season 4 is currently shooting and Wilman, despite being a confessed “glass half empty” guy, seems comfortable with the progress. He is uncertain whether there will be a Season 5 — and not necessarily because they are at the mercy of Amazon’s green light. “I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not,” Wilman says. “Jeremy’s the same. He’s like: when we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away.”

Clarkson's Farm

This perspective was not a luxury they enjoyed last year. Amazon was incandescent about Clarkson’s Meghan Markle column in The Sun newspaper and Variety reported that the streamer was prepared to cancel the presenter. Sources say the report caught Wilman and colleagues off guard as they were filming Season 3, but it proved to be wide of the mark. Amazon did eventually renew Clarkson’s Farm , but only after some spicy comments at the Edinburgh TV Festival, where executives claimed the show was bigger than the presenter. Wilman does not entirely disagree. “To me, he’s like the tent pole, it would all collapse without him, but he does need a foil,” he says.

Ultimately, few content chiefs would cancel a series on the up. Clarkson’s Farm was watched by 5.2M on its return, making it the second biggest show on a streaming service in the UK this year. Does Wilman think it could persuade Jeff Bezos to join the Chipping Norton set? “I think we’d have to show him where it is,” he smiles. “I hope he watches it because he must be going: ‘Bloody hell. This show doesn’t cost me a lot and gets these numbers.’”

And with that, Wilman disappears back to his edit suite.

Jeremy Clarkson lets slip when he'll end Clarkson's Farm as star admits he knows when to 'walk away'

C larkson's Farm has proven to be one of the UK's most popular shows in recent years but its host, Jeremy Clarkson, already knows when he'll hang up his wellies for good.

So far, Amazon has dropped three seasons of Clarkson's misadventures at Diddly Squat and filming on the fourth run is already underway .

Alongside new farm manager Kaleb Cooper, patient girlfriend Lisa Hogan, meticulous land agent Charlie Ireland, and the rest of the Diddly Squat family, fans have grown to love seeing the day-to-day operations on the farm.

Season three alone delivered many a talked-about moment, including his biggest-ever rows with Cooper , the heartbreaking realities of pig farming, and a few moments of comic levity to boot.

Clarkson, who was crowned Britain's sexiest man this week , has often put the show's success down to its authenticity, something he reiterated when responding to fans' praise on social media following the third season.

And his long-serving colleague and Clarkson's Farm, Top Gear and The Grand Tour producer, Andy Wilman, thinks the same as he recently revealed the conversations he's had with Clarkson about the show's direction.

"Everybody wants to be in that little world because it’s a bit of a 1950s world where a big problem is a cow that’s in trouble or a dam that’s not mended. Very little of consequence happens," Wilman told Deadline.

He continued: "It’s like an escape pod. Forget all your troubles and be on Clarkson’s Farm."

So far, season one saw Clarkson tackle sheep farming, season two focussed on battles with the local council, and season three pitted the former Top Gear star against Cooper in a farmed vs unfarmed money-making competition.

Wilman stayed tight-lipped on what the fourth season holds but when pressed on if there will be a fifth, he revealed: "I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not. Jeremy’s the same."

Delving into what Clarkson has told him about when he'll end the show, Wilman confessed: "He’s like, 'When we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away'."

Amazon is yet to confirm whether or not it will give a fifth season the green light but given its success in the viewing figures, it's likely bosses will want Clarkson to keep on "tractor-ing".

The show's season three premiere, for instance, was streamed by 5.1 million viewers over its first week of release, according to Barb.

What's even more impressive is that it smashed the record previously set by Clarkson and his Diddly Squat team as the season two premiere had held the record with 4.3 million.

While Clarkson's Farm's future beyond season four remains a mystery for now, Wilman, Clarkson and fellow Grand Tour stalwarts James May and Richard Hammond have decided to end the motoring series.

The presenting trio filmed the final Grand Tour special in Zimbabwe late last year and it's set to be released on Amazon Prime Video later in 2024.

・ Sir Rod Stewart reignites fierce row with radio host after being told he's not Scottish: 'Derogatory!'

However, Clarkson did manage to spark speculation about a U-turn on the decision this month when he shared a video of himself enjoying a beer with Hammond, May and Wilman.

"I’m in a time warp," Clarkson captioned the video as fans rushed to share their hopes in the comments but at the time of writing, there's been no news of the Grand Tour's return.

Jeremy Clarkson responds after Clarkson’s Farm filming is stopped for bizarre reason

Jeremy clarkson revealed what happened to stop filming on instagram.

Emily Puckering

Emily Puckering

After filming for the fourth season of Clarkson's Farm was halted for a rather bizarre reason, Jeremy Clarkson has given his own savage response.

The former Top Gear host recently revealed that a fourth season of his beloved Prime Video show was in the works following rumours of it being axed after the third season concluded last week.

This, of course, has come as wonderful news to fans who've absolutely loved the recent third season.

Season three, which released in early May, was once again jam packed with humour, heartbreak, council disputes and the harsh realities of the farming industry as Clarkson tried to find ways to diversify the 1,000-acre Diddly Squat Farm plot following the forced closure of his farm restaurant .

It also saw the return of beloved farmhand Gerald Cooper after he revealed he'd been diagnosed with cancer .

The roaring success of the third season of Clarkson's Farm - despite viewers being left devastated after witnessing the deaths of Clarkson's new piglets - means that a fourth is currently in the works, despite rumours that the show was going to be done for good.

Season three of Clarkson's Farm has been a roaring success. (Prime Video)

Writing on X during a recent Q&A with fans, Clarkson revealed the good news himself, saying: "It's not [the end]. We are filming season four right now."

While filming for the fourth season of the Prime Video show is well underway, Clarkson revealed this week that it was temporarily halted due to a bizarre disturbance.

Taking to Instagram, the broadcaster-turned-farmer shared a screenshot from FlightRadar24 showing a helicopter circling over his farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire.

And writing in classic Clarkson style, he penned simply: "Filming paused till this f**ktard buggers off."

While it currently isn't known why filming was paused, nor who was behind the helicopter being flown over the farm, fans have been poking fun over the uninvited guest, with one saying: "Council is finding new ways."

And another said: "Gotta be [Richard] Hammond."

LADbible has contacted Prime Video for comment.

Even though filming for season four is underway and excitement for it is certainly present, a producer of the show recently gave somewhat of a worrying update about its future.

Producer Andy Wilman spoke to Deadline about the future of Clarkson's Farm and how long it might run on for.

Speaking of Clarkson, he said: "He’s a restless man, he needs work, he needs things to do. And he loves that farm, he’s really at peace in that place.

"He never saw this coming in his career at 64. He thought his big end moment was that we end The Grand Tour successfully.

"I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not. Jeremy’s the same. He’s like: 'when we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away'."

Jeremy Clarkson reacts as Clarkson’s Farm filming is unexpectedly halted

The making of series four of the hit amazon prime show was well underway.

Millie Jackson

It was a dramatic day on the farm for Jeremy Clarkson , as filming for the fourth series of his hit show Clarkson's Farm was halted by an unusual – and uninvited – guest.

A helicopter began circling over Jeremy's farm at around midday on Friday 17 May, which meant that filming had to be paused, presumably due to the noise, privacy and security risk.

The broadcaster-turned-farmer, 64, shared a screenshot onto Instagram where he tracked a helicopter that had been circling over the farm in Chadlington, Oxfordshire. Jeremy used publicly available tracking data to show the route the helicopter had taken, writing that "filming is paused" until the helicopter leaves.

The helicopter took a strange flight path

It is not known who was flying the rogue helicopter, but many viewers took the opportunity to joke about Jeremy's showdown with the local council, with one commenting: "Council finding new ways".

Usually, the challenges facing Jeremy on Diddly Squat Farm are farming related. In season three, he contends with difficult weather, the sad realities of rearing pigs as well as the ever-present struggle with the council to keep the farm shop and restaurant.

Clarkson's Farm is back for season 3

Fans have been left guessing about what's to come in season four, although we hope it's more adorable footage of his dogs, Arya and Sansa, as well as farm life.

After season four, the show's future may be in question despite its success as Amazon Prime Video's highest rated UK original. Andy Wilman, the show's executive producer, told Deadline: “I’ve got no feelings on whether there’s a five or not. Jeremy’s the same. He’s like: when we’ve got nothing left to say, let’s walk away.”

For Andy, the show's success is down to its ability to keep fans immersed: “It’s like an escape pod. Forget all your troubles and be on Clarkson’s Farm.”

We couldn't agree more, although let's hope the only flying interruption from here is the bird life.

Clarkson’s Farm Filming Comes to a Halt – ‘Filming Paused’

Production on Season 4 of Clarkson’s Farm has stalled due to an unusual interference. A mysterious helicopter circling above Diddly Squat Farm prompted the suspension.

Production on the highly anticipated Season 4 of “Clarkson’s Farm” has unexpectedly ground to a halt. A baffling disruption, in the form of a persistent helicopter hovering over Jeremy Clarkson’s Diddly Squat Farm, has caused the filming to pause, leading to a swirl of theories and fan speculation about the reasons behind this aerial anomaly.

View this post on Instagram A post shared by Jeremy Clarkson (@jeremyclarkson1)

Launched on Amazon Prime Video, “Clarkson’s Farm” has successfully captivated audiences worldwide, charting Jeremy Clarkson’s often humorous and sometimes fraught attempts to run a farm in the Cotswolds. The show, featuring the likes of Kaleb Cooper and Lisa Hogan , alongside Clarkson, has been a top performer, particularly noted during its third season.

The current filming disruption began soon after the crew had commenced work on the new season, buoyed by the success of its previous outings. Jeremy Clarkson himself addressed the issue with a typical flair for dramatics, sharing a radar image of the helicopter online, accompanied by his straightforward commentary on the situation:

“Filming paused till this f***** buggers off.”

This statement has, unsurprisingly, sparked a flurry of reactions across social media platforms, with fans rallying behind Clarkson. Speculations abound, with some pointing fingers at Clarkson’s erstwhile co-star Richard Hammond, humorously suggesting he might be piloting the helicopter. Others suspect the local West Oxfordshire District Council of carrying out some form of surveillance, possibly using thermal imaging, as part of regulatory oversight.

Adding to the colorful commentary, fans expressed their theories and frustrations:

“Gotta be Hammond.” – @p.feldman

“An Hammond in a helicopter.” – @withcarss_denayan

“Probably West Oxfordshire District Karens taking pictures of the gravel.” – @speedingtube

“Probably the council with a thermal camera to see if you are hiding another restaurant in the woods.” – @bugsy4894

Despite the humorous undertones, there’s a clear plea from the audience:

“DO NOT PAUSE! 8 episodes isn’t enough!” – @stephanie_emmaa

The film crew’s response to this predicament remains under wraps, with no clear indication of when cameras will roll again. The projected release date for Season 4 hovers around July 2025, but with current events, this timeline could face adjustments.

The incident underscores the unique challenges of filming a reality series set in a dynamic, real-world environment like a working farm. Whether the cause is a mischievous prank from a former co-star or intrusive local governance, the disruption has certainly heightened anticipation for the coming season while illustrating the complexities of rural life and reality TV production.

A 21st-century guide to Kazan’s sights

the grand tour jeremy clarkson farm

Since the Millennium Jubilee Kazan has become a very different city compared to what it used to be. It came out of the celebration of its first millennium as a completely transformed urban center staking its claim as Russia’s third capital after Moscow and St. Petersburg.

Almost all pre-existing sport facilities in Kazan were rebuilt for the World University Games, while 30 new ones were built from scratch including the Water Sports Palace, the Tennis Academy, the Ak Bars Wrestling Palace, the St. Petersburg Volleyball Center, the boat canal on the Middle Kaban Lake and the 45,000-seat Kazan Arena. It is the third-largest stadium in Russia.

Apart from the arrival of new sport facilities, many other changes have taken place. The entire city center has been restored and has seen the construction of a business district, a university campus, a high-speed tram and a metro. Historical monuments have been rehabilitated, while new streets and parking lots have been built. Kazan has also become a bike-friendly city, with a bike rental program featuring Paris bicycles (the first 30 minutes are free). Free Wi-Fi is available in the Metro and throughout the center.

A new railway station and an additional airport terminal have been built to handle the growing inflow of tourists and sportspeople. To go to the airport visitors can take the Lastochka express train, which goes from the center to the terminal in 20 minutes, cutting the journey time in half.

Tatarstan’s capital now stands out as one of Russia’s top urban destinations. Let’s have a look at Kazan’s top seven new sights.

The Kul-Sharif Mosque

The mosque has a capacity of 1,500 and the square in front of it can host up to 10,000 people. The shapes on its dome recall the “Kazan Cap,” which was the Khan’s crown. According to legend it was taken to Moscow after the fall of Kazan and is now located in the Armory Chamber in the Kremlin. Kul-Sharif is not just a religious space, but also hosts two exhibitions: The Museum of Islamic Culture in the Volga Region and the Museum of Ancient Calligraphy.

Temple of All Religions

In 1994 architect Ildar Khanov began construction of the so-called Temple of All Religions on land that he owned. In the eclectic silhouette of this cascade of buildings you can see a combination of Christian crosses, Muslim crescents, stars of David and Chinese domes. The Temple does not function as a place of worship, but features a museum, an art gallery and a concert hall.

Khanov decided to erect this curious building after his travels to Tibet and India where he studied Eastern art, Buddhism, yoga and Tibetan and Chinese medicine. He was helped in the realization of this grandiose project both by local businesspeople and like-minded locals. This humanist and artist passed away in 2013 without having managed to complete the construction of the temple, but funds are being collected to complete it.

To get to the Temple of All Religions take an “elektrichka” (local train) from Kazan and get off at “Staroe Arakchino” station or take bus no. 2 or 45 and get off at “Poselok Staroe Arakchino.”

The Palace of Agriculture

The Palace of Agriculture is impressive for its magnificent simplicity and grandiosity, characteristics typical of Baroque buildings, a style that dominated European art from the end of the 16th to the mid-17th century. You will know you have arrived when you see the fanciful and enormous tree mural in the center of the structure.

Kazan Family Center

One hundred weddings can take place simultaneously in the three halls of the complex. The design imitates the epoch of the Great Volga Bulgars, the Kazan Khanate and even Classicism. There are separate chambers for the bridegroom and the bride, halls for banquets and celebrations and is visited by tourists and prospective families alike.

It is popular for featuring one of the best viewpoints in the city. There is a two-storey viewpoint on the roof at a height of 32 meters (entrance ticket costs 50 rubles or less than one dollar). The landscaped lawns and sky above Kazan provide a wonderful background for a wedding picture or a selfie.

The World University Games facilities

Today innumerable sport facilities are available not only to professional sportspeople, but also to tourists and to local people: Besides watching competitions and using the various facilities, you can just enjoy the latter as urban sights and book an excursion by van or by minibus (from 4,000 to 16,000 rubles for a 4-hour tour).

The Millennium Bridge

The Millennium Bridge is the city’s longest bridge (1,524 metres). It unites the two sides of the Kazanka River. Its opening was the most longed-for event for the city’s and even the republic’s car drivers; moreover, the bridge became an important part of the Kazan’s Small Ring. It instantly became one of the city’s most recognizable symbols. It looks particularly beautiful in the evening, when the additional lighting is turned on and the letter M in the middle of the bridge becomes one of the  most illuminated objects of the city by night.
