Island Time Sailing Reviews

"rebecca hoselton".

Truly the best time! We saw dolphin pods playing super close to the boat! Two clean bathrooms on board. Snacks and drinks for reasonable prices. Snorkel masks for our use, and Shell beach is just other worldly! Boat handles very well no sea sickness, and the sail was beautiful to see. Luke was the most down to earth kind man. Such a nice guy. My daughter wasn’t feeling super great and he was kind and fun and she perked right up! She talked about him the whole way home “he called me the hoola hoop queen!” Emma was a doll, easygoing and sweet. She gave the kiddos super awesome fake tattoos which was such a fun touch. Captain Heath (I think was his name!) was exactly what you want a captain to be. Confident and paying attention. I saw him watching and counting everyone when we were on shell island, multiple times. Even my chronically unhappy teen talked about how nice everyone was. Very highly recommend!

Relax and enjoy a fun-filled 2 hour sunset cruise in beautiful Panama City Beach, Fl. It’s perfect for couples or families. First we cruise and sight see through the calm waters of Grand Lagoon, past the marinas, state park, and beautiful homes. We’ll then see if the beautiful emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico are calm enough for a leisurely sail.

Once there we keep our fingers crossed for those romantic red fire sunsets over the picturesque background of the beautiful waters. And while dolphins are usually plentiful, it is a special treat to see them jump out of the water while chasing fish or a baby dolphin briskly swimming by its mom. Even our locally based crew gets excited for those special occasions! If the Gulf is too rough we will sail the vast beautiful waters of the St. Andrews Bay to enjoy the sunset and search for dolphins.

The whole cruise is enjoyable with fun music playing throughout and the entertaining crew keeping the fun going after the sun goes down with dancing and games.

Recently, the Island Time II sailing catamaran was added to the Island Time Sailing fleet! Built by the same builder that produced the original Island Time Catamaran, our newest addition is just as fun and even has netting to lounge on! Not looking for a catamaran tour? Imagine climbing aboard our boat as the sun slips lower in the west; skimming out over the crystal clear waters of St. Andrews Bay toward Shell Island and enjoying the warmth of the tropical ocean air on your face as the Captain points out sights and areas of interest along the way.

Feel the warmth of the ocean surround you as you slip into the water and don your flippers and mask. Then, you kick out to where the bottlenose dolphins are playing in the surf. And as the sun paints the sky in golden hues of gold, orange and red, you witness two dolphins break the surface and leap gracefully in the air, knowing it’s a memory you’ll be talking about for years to come.

But why just imagine this scenario? Snorkeling tours are a great way for good swimmers to see the underwater world of Panama City Beach. With the help of our experienced crew, even a novice snorkeler can explore the water with confidence. Our guides will help you explore the grassy shallows and jetties around Shell Island. Florida city names not to be confused with other US towns ... or states

  • Beverly Hills: Definitely not the star-studded city in California, but rather one of the first retirement-oriented planned communities in Central Florida.
  • Bowling Green
  • Five Points
  • Florida City, Florida Ridge, Floridatown: This would make remembering where you live a little easier. Wonder how the Post Office feels about it, though.
  • Fountainbleau
  • Golden Gate: No giant orange bridge here and 10 million visitors a year would overwhelm the Florida town with a 2020 census of just over 25,000.
  • Hollywood: Another reference to California.
  • Lake Placid: Not the place of the 1980 winter Olympics. There aren't enough snow machines to make this happen.
  • Laurel: Definitely not to be confused with the town in Mississippi of HGTV fame !
  • Midway: Quite far from the major battle in the Pacific during WWII.
  • Monticello: Thomas Jefferson would approve of this town's name.
  • Neptune Beach: This place is out of this world. Just kidding, you only need to head east of Jacksonville.

  • Pebble Creek
  • San Antonio
  • South Pasadena

Florida towns with a holiday theme

  • Day: And in case you're wondering, no, we didn't find a Night, although there is a Night Recreational Vehicle Park in Louisiana.

  • Bell: Ears ringing yet?
  • Feather Sound
  • Hill 'n Dale: Not to be confused with the loveable chipmunks Chip 'n Dale.
  • June Park: No other months, just June in Florida. But there is a February, Tennessee; March in Missouri and Virginia; and May in Missouri.
