Free time as a prospective safari guide in Tanzania

Nestled deep within the Serengeti, far from urban centres, our camp offers freedom to explore the grounds after a safety briefing. With no fences, encounters with the Big 5 (elephants, lions, leopards, buffalo, and rhinos) and other wildlife may occur. Please note, swimming in the river is not permitted for safety reasons due to the presence of crocodiles and hippos.

Arrival in Tanzania for your course

Your adventure begins in Arusha , where you will ideally arrive one day before the start of the course and stay in selected accommodation. The next day you and the other participants will be picked up at Forest Hill Hotel at 7am (hotel is not included). A driver will take you to the Academy Camp in the Serengeti. En route, you can stop at a supermarket for snacks or other necessities. Upon arrival, a brief orientation awaits, followed by your first activity or free time to enjoy the camp's serenity.

Typical day during the Safari Guide Course Serengeti

The Academy Camp operates on a "duty guide" system , where two participants lead daily activities with the trainer's guidance. They handle morning and afternoon sessions, including preparation and follow-up. During breaks, the trainer provides feedback, allowing everyone to reflect and share their thoughts. Activities include game drives and bush walks.

For example, your day could look like this: You wake up with the sunrise at 6 a.m. After breakfast, you will start your morning learning session and training activity. At 10 a.m., there is a tea or coffee break. From 11 a.m. to 12 p.m., you will do a short review of the morning activity with the team. Afterward, you can recharge your batteries during the lunch break from 12 to 1 p.m., followed by an additional hour to rest. The theory session commences at 2 p.m., followed by an open discussion. From 3 to 6 p.m., an afternoon activity will take place. After a one-hour team review, you will wind down the day with a shared dinner among your teammates from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m.

Exam during the Safari Guide Course

This comprehensive course is designed to provide a deep understanding of all aspects of African nature, encompassing both practical and theoretical knowledge. You'll be part of a group of enthusiastic students and guides, fostering a positive and supportive learning environment. For safety reasons, it is mandatory to pass an online theory exam prior to the practical training. The exam is offered by both of our partners, Wildlife Campus and FGASA, for a fee. The practical exam includes a half-day game drive. You must perform this from start to finish at the wheel of the safari vehicle with the other participants and the trainer as a simulated customer group. Intervention by the trainer will only take place in an emergency and may result in the termination of the test. The trainer determines when the test is finished. The exam lasts three to six hours, depending on the quality of the animal sightings and/or performance by the examinee.

Upon successful completion of the course, you have the option to obtain an official TANAPA (Tanzania National Parks Authority) certificate, enabling you to pursue a rewarding career as a safari guide in Tanzania. The TANAPA certificate is granted upon passing the practical exam and can be obtained at the earliest after four weeks of participation. Alternatively, if you do not pass the exam, you will receive a simple certificate of participation from the Safari Guide Academy.

Last day in the Serengeti

On the last day of your course, you will set off on your return journey after breakfast. You will be picked up at the camp at 7 a.m. and taken to the Forest Hill Hotel in Arusha or directly to the airport. From there, you can start your journey home or onward. If you plan to fly home the same day, please do not book your flight for before 7 p.m.

FAQ – Learn more about this trip

Before leaving to tanzania.

The most crucial requirement is your genuine interest in nature and a strong desire to explore and deepen your knowledge. Additionally, participants must be at least 18 years old and proficient in English. Physical fitness is essential as the unfamiliar climate and daily activities, especially extensive walking, can be quite demanding.

To enroll in the course, completion of the theory exam from FGASA ("Field Guide Association of Southern Africa") and/or our partner Wildlife Campus is mandatory. Depending on your length of stay, you might need a visa for the duration of the course. Please check with the Tanzanian Consulate in your home country or reach out to the Natucate team directly for assistance. Don't forget to obtain an international driver's license and travel health insurance as well. These prerequisites will ensure you have a smooth and fulfilling experience during the course.

We are dedicated to ensuring a seamless experience for you, starting with assisting with your placement and supporting you throughout the intensive preparation phase. Any questions you may have will be promptly addressed by our team. During your time on-site, English-speaking supervisors will be available to provide continuous assistance. You will benefit from the guidance of experienced instructors throughout the course. Rest assured, your accommodation in the camps and catering, featuring ample meals, water, coffee, and tea, will be taken care of. Additionally, all transfers between the camps as well as the entrance fee to Serengeti National Park, teaching materials, and additional activities are also covered in the overall price. With our comprehensive approach, we strive to ensure that you have an enriching and worry-free adventure in the Serengeti.

Before embarking on your trip, it is strongly recommended to update your standard vaccinations, including tetanus, diphtheria, MMR (mumps, measles, and rubella), hepatitis A and B, influenza, and pertussis. As Tanzania is a malaria-risk area, it is crucial to seek information about prophylactic measures and obtain standby medication. For your safety, avoid bathing in natural fresh water, as it may contain parasites and pose risks from crocodiles and hippos. While there are poisonous spiders, scorpions, and snakes in the region, incidents of bites or stings from these creatures are highly uncommon.

In this context, we strongly recommend seeking comprehensive vaccination advice from your GP or local institute before travelling.

In case of any medical emergencies or doubts, rest assured that a helicopter emergency service, known as the "Flying Doctors," is available and included in the total price. It is required to have travel health insurance covering medical care, hospitalization, and additional transportation. Be sure to check the travel advice provided by your country’s foreign office for Tanzania, and carry a small personal first-aid kit with essentials like bandages, painkillers, and antihistamines. Additionally, consult your doctor for specific health advice related to Tanzania and stay informed about current travel advice before your departure. -> Claim “we cant give medical advice?”

Ensuring you have the right outdoor clothing is vital. Opt for hiking boots, lightweight and long attire, and a hat to shield yourself from insects and the sun. Choosing clothes in "bush colours" such as khaki, brown, grey, or green is essential for blending into the environment. As nights can get cooler, it's advisable to pack some warmer clothing too. Don't forget to bring sunscreen and insect repellent, a refillable water bottle, a daypack, and binoculars. A flashlight or headlamp will also prove advantageous during your stay.

It is best to avoid carrying unnecessary valuables, as they may get damaged or pose a risk of theft, especially at the airport or in big cities.

We will send you a comprehensive packing list before the course begins, covering all the essentials you'll need for a safe and enjoyable experience.

For cancellations made up to 15 days before the trip, 75% of the tour price will be charged. After that (14 to 0 days before departure), the full 100% of the total price is due.To safeguard your investment and mitigate potential losses due to unforeseen circumstances, it is highly recommended to obtain travel cancellation insurance. This insurance will provide you with added peace of mind in case unexpected situations disrupt your travel plans.

Arrival in Tanzania

The transfer from Arusha to the Academy Camp in the Serengeti and back is included in the total price. The overnight stay in Arusha before the start of the course and possibly after the end of the course must be booked at your own expense, as well as a transfer from the international airport Kilimanjaro to Arusha. We are happy to recommend a reputable travel company to assist you with any transport within Tanzania before or after the course, e.g. in Zanzibar or on the mainland (Kilimanjaro trek, safari on the mainland).

During the course

The Academy Camp works on a "duty guide" system. Two participants are selected per day to guide the course of the day under the guidance of the trainer. The guides share the morning and afternoon activities, which include the preparation and follow-up of the activities. During breaks, the trainer discusses the guides' performance and gives them and the entire group the opportunity to reflect and comment.

Example daily schedule:

  • 6-10 a.m.: Morning activity/training session
  • 10-11 a.m.: Tea/coffee break
  • 11 a.m.-12 p.m.: Review of the morning activity with the team
  • 12-1 p.m.: Lunch
  • 1-2 p.m.: Rest time
  • 2-3 p.m.: Theory lecture by the trainer followed by discussion
  • 3-6 p.m.: Afternoon activity / training session
  • 6:30-7:30 p.m.: Review of the afternoon activity with the team
  • 7:30-8:30 p.m.: Dinner and joint conclusion of the daily activities

There are 4-7 students and one trainer per group.

Life on the ground in Tanzania

The accommodation is nestled on the banks of a river, right in the heart of the Serengeti's northern region, near the border with Kenya. Each tent is equipped with comfortable beds, fresh linen, towels, a private bathroom, solar-powered hot water, and battery-operated LED lamps. Surrounded by the untouched wilderness, the camp promises a truly immersive experience.

Yes, there are double tents. Please specify when booking!

Three meals a day will be provided, along with water, coffee and tea.

On the way to the camp, the driver will make a stop at a supermarket for any small purchases needed.

Yes, vegetarian as well as vegan meals can be arranged, but please let us know of any food preferences or intolerances when booking.

During the training, you will have free afternoons and weekends to unwind and recharge. However, since the training takes place at the Academy Camp and is not easily accessible by public transportation, you should expect to spend your free time at camp. You can use the time to study and prepare for the exam, write, read, or spend the time with your fellow participants.

Nestled in the heart of the Serengeti, far from bustling cities, the camp offers a truly immersive experience in the wilderness. Once you've received a comprehensive safety briefing, you can freely explore the camp area. As you are situated amidst the natural habitat of the revered BIG 5 (elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino) and other potentially dangerous animals, it's essential to stay vigilant and follow safety guidelines. While encounters with these magnificent creatures are a possibility, our experienced guides will ensure that you observe them from a safe distance, preserving both your safety and the animals' well-being. Furthermore, swimming in the river is not permitted due to the presence of crocodiles and hippos.

Your trainer is your primary contact person on site, but both the German-speaking Academy team and the office in Tanzania can be reached by phone (the latter being reachable 24/7).

You can pay in the camp with Euro and Dollar and in the local currency (Tanzanian Shilling). However, you must pay in local currency while visiting local shops and supermarkets outside of camp. It is advisable to withdraw Shillings at the airport (with VISA or MasterCard) or exchange cash upon arrival.

There is excellent mobile reception in the Serengeti. It may be worthwhile to buy a local SIM card before the start of the course.

The dry season is June to October and brings temperatures ranging from 20 to 30 degrees Celsius (68 to 86 degrees Fahrenheit). With clear skies and wildlife often gathering around water sources, the dry season offers incredible opportunities for game drives and witnessing the Great Migration.

From November to December, you have what is called the short rainy season: rainfall is light and sporadic, and as the landscape starts to turn green. This is a great time for birdwatching as migratory birds arrive in the region. From March to May, you will experience heavier and more consistent rainfall, and the air is warm and humid. The rain rejuvenates the landscape, and the grasslands flourish, attracting large herds of wildebeest and other herbivores.

Tanzania is located in a malaria risk area; therefore, we strongly advise consulting your doctor to discuss malaria prevention measures such as prophylaxis. For your safety, we recommend refraining from bathing in natural fresh water, as it may harbour parasites and pose risks due to the presence of crocodiles and hippos. Additionally, there are some poisonous spiders, scorpions, and snakes in the area, but it's essential to note that incidents of bites or stings from these animals are extremely rare.

In case of any medical emergencies or serious injuries, we have arranged access to a helicopter emergency service called "Flying Doctors," which is included in the total price of your visit. This service ensures prompt medical assistance and evacuation if needed. Your well-being is our priority, and we encourage you to take all necessary precautions and follow safety guidelines to have a safe and enjoyable experience in Tanzania.

Upon successful completion of the course and passing the final exam, you will be awarded a certificate by TANAPA (Tanzanian National Parks Authority), which opens up exciting opportunities for you to work as a safari guide in Tanzania.

Certainly, this is indeed possible. However, to ensure the safety of all participants on site, a successful completion of the theory exam conducted by FGASA and/or Wildlife Campus is a requirement.

The Serengeti National Park is known for its impressive wildlife migrations. It is home to two million wildebeest, zebra and antelope in its vast landscapes. An impressive game reserve, it is home to Africa's legendary "Big Five" wildlife. Since 1981, the Serengeti National Park has held UNESCO World Heritage status.

A highlight of the Serengeti National Park is the annual wildlife migration: huge herds of wildebeest, gazelles and zebras make their way to the various watering holes, pursued by potential predators. The migration is considered one of the most remarkable natural events in the world, which makes the Serengeti National Park so popular. There are also around 3,000 to 4,000 lions, as well as many cheetahs, spotted hyenas and jackals, which can be admired at close range during safaris.

Safari Guides

Our safari guides are permanent staff at Nature Discovery; a group of professionals who are passionate to share the wonders of northern Tanzania’s rich wildlife and diverse landscapes. They receive training from naturalists, conservation specialists, professional safari guides, wilderness doctors and even psychologists, on the varied skills which make for superlative safari guiding.

Our team is comprised of nine driver-guides and four walking guides, most of whom have been with us for over ten years and have an impressive resume of experience as well as detailed knowledge of the legendary African bush found in Serengeti National Park and surrounds, plus the special tucked-away places off the main tourist tracks.

The driver guides spend at least six full months of each year on safari in northern Tanzania’s game parks and reserves, building their bush knowledge and experience. They are all keen observers and game spotters, and impressive game trackers too. We pride ourselves on safe driving principles, including providing seat belts on every seat of our fleet of Toyota Land Cruiser safari vehicles .

Lazaro Mbise

Afterwards, he joined the armed forces until 1979, where he was posted to serve in the war between Tanzania and Uganda in 1977. In 1982 he attended Mount Meru Tour Guiding School, which was the start of his career in guided safaris. He is married with six children, and lives in Arusha.

Mbise began guiding in 1985 and joined us in 1997 as a driver guide. Every year, he spends at least six full months in the game parks and reserves, building his bush knowledge and experience. He is an extremely knowledgeable safari guide, a keen birder and game spotter, and a most careful driver. His great sense of humor and depth of bush knowledge makes him your perfect safari companion. The cheetah is his favorite animal, because of its blinding speed when hunting.

Ephata Mollel

Ephata is Tanzanian, of the WaArusha tribe. The WaArusha carry the same customs and traditions of the Maasai, but instead of a nomadic lifestyle, they are farmers. Ephata was born in northern Tanzania on the 9th of October 1963, in Monduli Chini Village, at the foot of Monduli Mountain. He grew up in Monduli village until he was six, then his family moved to the village Ngaramtone Juu, just north of Arusha, where he finished his primary education. He attended Enaboishu Boys Secondary School in Arusha, where he completed form four (O level). Afterwards he attended college in Moshi- the Central Cooperative College, graduating in 1988 with a diploma in accounting and auditing. He is married with five children.

Ephata served in the military for one year and then entered the tourism business, as his family had a history of being tour guides. He joined us in 1998 as a driver guide, and every year spends many months in the game parks and reserves, building his bush knowledge and experience. Ephata is an extremely knowledgeable safari guide, a keen game spotter, and a safe driver. His pleasant and thoughtful nature makes him your perfect safari companion. Ephata speaks four languages fluently: English, French, Kiswahili, and Kima, the language of the Maasai. The leopard is his favorite animal in the bush. He admires its hunting skills, and of course its beautiful coat and its camouflage when stalking prey.

Ephata has received training from a professional guiding school in Arusha and attended workshops and courses in the flora & fauna of Tanzania, and first-aid. He has recently attended and trained in an intensive wilderness first-aid course at Selian Lutheran Hospital in Arusha.

Peter Ngotio

Peter Ngotio

Peter is Tanzanian, of the Chagga tribe. He was born on the 27th of June 1960 in Marangu-Kilema, 5km from the Mt Kilimanjaro boundary. He attended Kilimanjaro Boys Secondary School in Moshi where he completed form four (O level). During his school holidays, his father said that all boys must climb Kilimanjaro as a porter to earn their own pocket money, so he did this as a part-time job. After completing his education, he attended Morogoro teachers training college in the central Tanzanian highlands, graduating after 2 years in 1980 with a diploma in education.

He worked as a teacher in Shinyanga near Lake Victoria for a number of years before beginning his guiding career in 1988 as he was passionate about Tanzania’s rich wildlife and diverse landscapes. He received a lot of training on guiding, mechanics, safety driving and landscapes, paying attention to how not to get lost in the bush. He joined us as our first driver-guide in 1992 and every year spends numerous months in the game parks and reserves, building his bush knowledge and experience.

Peter is an extremely knowledgeable safari guide, a keen observer and game spotter, and a safe driver. His knowledge of Tanzania and all its wild places is unparalleled. He has an amazing rapport with his safari guests and understands the subtleties which make for an outstanding experience in the bush. Peter’s favorite animal in Tanzania’s wilderness is the cheetah because of its grace and speed, and the fact that it’s relatively docile when you encounter it in the bush, compared to the Big Five, which are notoriously aggressive. Cheetahs only kill when they are hungry and when they have had their fill, they leave their prey for other predators.

Peter has received training from the professional guiding school in Dar es Salaam, and attended workshops and courses in mechanics, Leave No Trace principles, the flora & fauna of Tanzania, human adaptive behaviour and client care, psycho-social and emergency first-aid and, of course, theory and practical driving courses. He has recently attended and trained in an intensive wilderness first-aid course at Selian Lutheran Hospital in Arusha. Annually he joins our in-house first-aid training.

Gaspard was born in 1966 and is of the Iraku Tribe, one of the most famous tribes found in northern Tanzania. He had his primary education at Rhotia Primary School in Karatu district and completed his secondary education in Sanu Seminary in Mbulu where he was awarded his “A level” certificate in 1992. Afterwards, he attended major and senior seminary in France for 6 years. Gaspard is married and has four children.

On his return to Tanzania from France, he attended courses at the Big Five Institute to study tourism and tour guiding courses. He started to work as a tour guide in Arusha from 2004, and in 2009 he joined Nature Discovery where he has worked since.

Each year he spends at least six full months in the same parks and reserves building his bush knowledge and experience. Gaspard is an extremely knowledgeable safari guide, a safe driver, and speaks fluent French and English. He enjoys sharing the Tanzanian bush with visitors from around the world. A bit of a globetrotter himself, Gaspard has travelled to many countries, including Kenya, Italy, France, and Israel.

Gaspard’s favorite animal is the leopard. Apart from being so elusive, it is also such a majestic creature. One of his favourite attributes is how they are always self-grooming and keeping themselves clean.

Gaspard annually attends workshops and courses in the flora and fauna of Tanzania and regularly does First-Aid courses. Anyone who has travelled with Gaspard knows his love for his country and the warmth for his clients on every safari.

Nairobi to Zanzibar: Serengeti & Sunsets Tour

Nairobi to Zanzibar: Serengeti & Sunsets

This tour was absolutely amazing! Our tour guide Moses was amazing! He was so knowledgeable about the animals and his enthusiasm was infectious!!!! We saw so many animals on Safari that here I am 3 weeks out and still posting pics from that trip! Then we got to Zanzibar where Dulah took over and shared about the history and culture of Zanzibar and Stone town!!! This was amazing, good bang for the buck!

East Africa Safari & Coast Tour

East Africa Safari & Coast

East Africa is a bucket-list trip and did not disappoint. We saw the big 5 and so much more. Our guide, Zach, our chef and driver were professionals and dealt with any and all issues without having them affect the trip.

Masai & Tanzania Camping Safari Tour

Masai & Tanzania Camping Safari

Upgraded tour. Simply, perfect. For me, this was all about animals and I was overwhelmed with the opportunities that the guides and drivers provided us while respecting the awesome individuals that oversee these beasts - the national park rangers who provide services in Kenya and Tanzania. Blessed with the time we spent with Masai; would love to come back for the opportunity to spend more time with people; I'm a loner, so animals came first, but loved the people I had the opportunity to meet.Saw the big 5 within the first 3 days we were there; experienced a small window into the precarious lives African animals live daily - just, simply, overwhelming. FYI, African elephants own my heart.

15 DAYS ESSENTIAL KENYA & TANZANIA EXPEDITION

Great experiences in the National Park We had a super great, well organized two weeks in the Serengeti National Park, as well as in the Ngorogoro Crater. We were picked up on time at the airport in Arusha at the very beginning and had perfect service from then on. We were together with Jerome D. Swai and the driver Cypiars which both can only be recommended. Jerome cooks wonderful food!!! We did a trip in tents, was just great the feeling to be so close to the wild nature. Can only say: Top people, top quality, top food and super much seen. It was just great, thank you again to meet you. Greetings from Switzerland P.S: Since spontaneously write here, only photos of photos from our safari photo book :-), hope that still gives an approximate impression of the experienced.

16 Days Best Of Kenya & Tanzania Luxury Safari

Our 14-day Kenya and Tanzania Migration Lodge Safari was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived in Nairobi to the final farewell, every day was filled with awe-inspiring moments and unforgettable experiences. Our adventure began with a warm welcome in Nairobi,Transfer to hotel Ole Sereni where our knowledgeable guide briefed us on the journey ahead. The luxurious accommodations provided a perfect blend of comfort and immersion in the African wilderness.African Brekafast was great!!! Amboseli National Park in Kenya was our first stop, and the sight of majestic elephants roaming against the backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro took our breath away. We witnessed thrilling wildlife encounters during our game drives, including close encounters with lions and cheetahs.Sopa lodges so magnificient. Crossing into Tanzania, border abit slow but was well organized with changing guides from Zack the genius to John M. Lake Manyara National Park enchanted us with its diverse landscapes and abundant birdlife. Spotting tree-climbing lions was a highlight, and the boat safari on Lake Manyara offered a serene perspective of the park's beauty. The Serengeti National Park was the epitome of safari magic. Witnessing the Great Migration firsthand was a dream come true as we watched thousands of wildebeests and zebras thunder across the plains. Our lodge perched on the edge of the Serengeti provided uninterrupted views of the vast savannah and unforgettable sunsets.Serena lodges are super ! Descending into the Ngorongoro Crater felt like entering a lost world teeming with wildlife. We marveled at the sheer abundance of animals in this natural amphitheater, from graceful gazelles to mighty rhinos. The grand finale awaited us in the Maasai Mara National Reserve. The Mara River crossings were the highlight of our safari, as we held our breath watching the dramatic spectacle unfold before our eyes. Our expert guide John , ensured we had front-row seats to nature's greatest show. Each evening, we gathered around the campfire under the starlit sky, sharing stories of the day's adventures and listening to the sounds of the African night. The hospitality of the lodge staff made us feel like family, and the delicious cuisine was a delightful surprise. As we bid farewell to Kenya and Tanzania, we carried with us memories that will last a lifetime. This safari exceeded all expectations, thanks to the impeccable planning and personalized service. It truly was the journey of a lifetime, and I cannot wait to return to Africa's wild embrace.Masai Mara crowned all the taste of an Africa Photo Safari - Sopa Lodges tastifully located at great views of sunset thank you Zack again for picking us from the other border point for this gtreat encounter with wildlife . Dar es Salaam Tour Guide - Kevin A.

I’m Tanzanian through and through, with a misplaced affinity for cheesy romance movies (who doesn’t love Titanic!) and Country and Western music (something my friends are forever teasing me about). The first thing you’ll notice about me is that I love meeting new people and making them smile. The second is that I have a deep passion for and knowledge of my home country. If you’re setting foot in Africa for the first time, Tanzania can seem bewildering, daunting, and exotic. But I’m here to settle you in and give you insider knowledge about our language, customs and beliefs. How do you eat ugali with one hand? Everyone learns ‘jambo’ as a greeting, but what words do Tanzanians really use? What do local people do when they believe their personal ‘star’ is no longer shining? Kevin, can you teach me how to moonwalk? (why yes!) You’ll have me on hand to help and advise you before, throughout, and even after your tour – perhaps you’ll even join me on another one of my experiences! After booking your place on my tour, you’ll receive some personal pre-travel advice on Tanzanian etiquette, and a little on the  language – starting with; ‘how on earth do you pronounce Ngorongoro?’ A few things you should know about the people of Tanzania: we love to smile, laugh, sing, dance, and have fun (any excuse!) We wear our hearts on our sleeves and form friendships quickly and naturally. In fact, in my native language, Kiswahili, the word ‘mgeni’ meaning ‘foreigner’, is the same as the word for ‘guest’. Here you are not a tourist but a new companion, and that is the feeling I want you to experience as your personal host. Karibu nyumbani! Tanzania welcomes you home!

Mount Kilimanjaro Climbing 5 Days Marangu Route

Known as the "coca-cola" route, the marangu route is a classic trek on mount kilimanjaro. it is the oldest, most well-established route. many favour the marangu route because it is considered to be the easiest path on the mountain, due to its more gradual slope. it is also the only route that offers sleeping huts with dormitory-style accommodation. there are 60 bunk beds at both mandara and kibo huts, and 120 bunk beds at horombo hut. book your kilimanjaro trek with best kilimanjaro local guide.

“ Moshi Tour ”

My first day in Moshi and I was looking for a tour of the city. I found Peter online, and booked on a whim. I’m SO glad I did! It was like walking around town with a friend. He showed me everything I wanted to see and beyond. He met me at my hotel, and dropped me off there at the end. I felt safe with him, and like I was among friends in the beautiful Moshi city. Two highlights were the old railway station and Blue Zebra! If you are looking for a tour, definitely take a chance a go with Peter! Also, he’s a Kilimanjaro guide and it was fun to talk to him ahead of time about my big climb!
