WOW.What else can i say about one of the best bands to see live. They opened for Breaking Benjamin and Shinedown.. the crowd at first were kinda like "who are these guys, where are the big bands?" but after Nothing More's first song Christ Copyright, the crowd was sad to see Nothing More leave the stage! These guys are insane, headbanging and singing the insanely high notes, Johnny Hawkins is an amazing lead singer and is funny and talks to the crowd in a fun way. When he isn't singing, he is playing backup percussion, which shows his diversity as an artist. The best part of the show, as most people would agree, was when the band put their bass on some sort of stand.. and the lead singer, guitarist, and bassist all started playing on the bass at the same time. Johnny used drumsticks to hit the top of the bass, the lead guitarist finger tapped while the bassist slapped the bridge. This may sound like it would sound like crap.. but they literally wrote a song and it sounded fantastic even though it was only one instrument!! Because they were an opener, they played their top 5 or 6 hits then left the stage. I don't think i have a single complaint about them.. Singing was flawless, screaming was amazing, bass and lead guitar didn't miss a note, and their drummer was going insane. IF NOTHING MORE COMES TO YOUR CITY GO SEE THEM.

It was a close call for this show, as at first I didn't want to risk attending a concert just before a nightshift at work. Not so much for fear of being tired and smelly, but because I didn't want to have to leave halfway through the gig.
And eventually, I decided to go. Because we all need rocking gigs at the moment, and that I knew it'd be worth it. And it was.
From the second they step on stage, Nothing More give absolutely every bit of energy they have, and I can tell you they NEVER seem to run out. It fills you and everyone around. The show was not sold out but the crowd made up for it. The kind of band & crowd that makes you sad for not knowing the lyrics to every song as you'd want to share more, singalong and be all part of that sort of big body.
They do give everything, jump around, play like the fate of the world might depend on it. And it's a lifesaver. It was very emotionnal too, as the band had last played at the Bataclan earlier this year, and payed tribute to the victims...
I definitely won't regret being tired and smelly all night at work afterwards. I do regret having missed the last songs, especially "Salem". But it was worth it, and it felt good. The kind of good rock'n'roll feeling we all needed to soothe our spirits and start mending our broken hearts. So thank you <3
Club XS Tucson, Arizona Oct 20, 2016 show. Nothing More puts on a fantastic show. I have seen them 1 time before and had to see them again the next time they came around!
This time I did a meet and greet package. The meet and greet seemed a little disorganized and rushed, probably not something I would pay for again. One nice thing they did for the VIPs was live rehearsal/sound check where they took requests. They played 4 songs, which I thought was solid as another band that did this only played one song, leaving me feel a bit ripped off. However, Nothing More was eager to interact with the VIPs and give a hell of a show.
Despite the singer having a cold, he was able to belt out all of their songs through their set. His voice cracked only a couple times, pretty impressive considering he was not able to come to the meet and greet.
The venue was perfect. It was a relatively small club where you could easily approach the stage and have a great view from every angle. Security was not obnoxiously keeping people away from everything, as can happen at some venues.
I am going to see them a second night in a row at a larger venue in Phoenix and am excited to see that show as well. They are a band I really hope to see many more times.
Nothing More is an alternative rock band from Texas. Who came to cold Scandinavia this weekend during their first European headlining tour. I’ve had my ticket since August, so I've been looking forward to this for months now.
Supporting Nothing More during this visit is the Irish band Zoax. We’re about 20 people in the crowd and I get that it’s hard to get us excited. Since the audience is so boring Adam Carroll, the vocalist, thought that it would be nice to join the audience and sing right in the middle of this tiny crowd. I think this is cool, so I try to take a picture. But unfortunately he took my phone and put it in his mouth – did it taste good?

It is rare that you find a lineup that has this much talent from every single one of the acts. Palasades came on first and gave it their all and showed that they are very deserving to be a go to opener for any bigger band. I see Palasades making it big in the future. Badflower came next, and it is easy to say that these guys are going places; big big places. Their energy and performance was phenomenal. Of Mice and Men threw the house down with their heavy hitting, high energy and stellar performance. Not one person was sitting still during their entire set. Nothing More is solidifying their place in the rock and roll world as being one of the best acts there is. There is truly Nothing More that needs to be said other than that.
I heard this would be the best show Id ever seen and IT WAS! Nothing More played the show like it was their last, giving ALL they had and then some! They performed all of their crowd pleasing songs and encouraged us to sing along. Every minute, each member was THERE, with us, rather than above or separate! IT'S A PHENOMENON UNLIKE ANY IVE EXPERIENCED IN THE MIRIAD OF SHOWS IVE SEEN IN MY LIFE AND I CAN'T WAIT TO DO IT AGAIN! Nothing More is: Mark Vollelunga on guitar, Daniel Oliver on bass, Ben Anderson is drums and Jonny Hawkins is vocals. Don't wait! If Nothing More is performing anywhere near you, GO! You won't be disappointed.
Nothing More's show was amazing! They had an amazing set list with each song having the same intensity and power as the last! Every member played outstandingly and went above and beyond! Real nice group of guys and they had great bands playing their opening acts. These guys know how to rock! Thought it was especially amazing when the lead singer got on some huge machine that was it's own instrument in itself. It was a crazy good show.
This was the most amazing experience I've ever been through. I will definitely go next chance I get... It was so awesome..... So awesome! Gonna try and get meet and greet for the next time if I can get a hold of them. Took pics with Lou Miceli the lead Singer of the palisades and got the whole band to sign their album and some other stuff.... We had a really good time
Nothing More was AWESOME! They really love what they do and it comes across in their energetic performance. In addition to having a phenomenal voice, Johnny is such a great percussionist and I love the fact he encorporates so much into the show! Love the set, the entrance on the “jungle gym” and Johnny’s performance on the mechanical “scorpion”!
Nothing More is an AMAZING band -- their talent is incredible and their energy off the charts. I loved every second of their show at The Paramount with Papa Roach--just couldn't get enough! Nicest guys you'd ever want to meet also, we were fortunate to get to hang for a bit after the show. Can't wait to see them again!!

Review by Gary Spiller for MPM
It’s Saturday evening and it’s the Westcountry’s entertainment capital for tonight’s entertainment. Make no bones about it it’s well and truly soaking; the descending felines and canines are doing their level best to dissuade the crowds, seeking their various pleasures, that throng the centre of this vibrant city.
A crowd bustles out front of the O2 Academy in readiness for ascendent Stateside country star Jordan Davis whilst a queue snakes towards the opulently fronted Hippodrome eager to catch ‘Wizard of Oz’ spin-off production ‘Wicked’.
As the salmon heads against the flow of the cascading river we dodge through the shoals of marauding umbrellas that seem keen to cause personal injury. To the list that includes such ‘terrorising’ objects as Prague’s trams and Amsterdam’s cyclists, so Bristol’s umbrellas are added.
For a second consecutive evening we’re being transported well outside of our personal realms of musical-based comfort and into the regions labelled unknown. Come the end of our night inside the well-appointed interior of SWX we hit the same conclusion as the previous night. Ocular organs opened and grey cerebral matter totally and utterly expanded!
Tonight will prove to be the heavy metal equivalent of a stellar nursery, a formative place of much significance. Headliners, hollering from Texas, Nothing More and their special guests SiM, all the way from Japan, are hitting the UK for a whistlestop five date tour. A pair of hard punching outfits who both have careers stretching back to the early 2000’s but are at the forefront of rock’s reinventions.
Unfortunately, due to a time-sapping combination of traffic and weather we arrive at SWX as opening band Siamese are winding up their last couple of hard-hitting tracks. Another shining example of the talent emerging from their native Denmark. Apologies to them, we’ll do our best to rectify in the future.
From what is witnessed tonight both Nothing More and SiM have built up strong, loyal, and totally devoted followings. Fan-bases that are passionate in the extreme but most importantly right across the boards in terms of demographics, it’s refreshing to see a crowd dominated by teenagers and those in their early twenties. Anyone else sense the tangible momentum in the forwards direction?
With the ferocity of delivery of a machine-gunning grizzly surfing upon the back of a blood-lusting Great White Japanese alternative metallers SiM (Silence iz Mine) detonate unrestrainedly to loud cheers emerging, onto a dimly lit SWX stage, atop an intro of wailing sirens. These are the opening warning chords for what is about to come!
Visualise, if you will, the incongruous and most unlikely scene of Anthrax headbutting Bob Marley in a headlong collision thrown together by Rage Against The Machine. If you can then you’ll then be prepared to board the rollicking heavy metal rollercoaster that SiM denote as their home.
It’s a barnstorming melding that really shouldn’t work on the face of it but with a combined ingenuity and inventiveness SiM do pull it off with considerable aplomb. Via twists and turns, heart stopping climbs and vertiginous descents the ten tracks follow are served up in a bloodletting 45 or so minutes of utterly delicious and unadulterated effervescent chaos.
The body gyrating ‘Kiss Of Death’ is a thundering beast at full pelt. Denizens of the underworld swarm to the riffage of Show-Hate whilst charismatic frontman Mah encourages “Jump, jump, jump!” from the offset. As is their very souls depend upon their ability to separate themselves from the floor so the SWX crowd, in unison, comply. Herein lies the dynamics of Welsh reggae metal crossover bunch Skindred.
The rallying calls continue “C’mon join us, join the mosh pit” urges Mah with the speedy thrasher ‘Do The Dance’, wild and furious, forming an opening puissant brace from last year’s ‘Playdead’ album. Just two tracks in and you can tell this is a truly tight quartet not to be taken lightly for sure. Alongside Mah and Show-Hate there’s the helter-skelter rhythm pairing of bassist Sin and drummer Godri. This is a truly consistent lineup that stretches back to 2009 and is responsible for five of SiM’s six studio long-players.
During demonic pumped-up pop-punk of ‘Devil In The Heart’ the first circle pit forms in tornadic fashion upon Mah’s command; alongside Show-Hate vehemently shreds a befittingly madcap solo. We’re informed, at track-end by Mah, that this is only the second time that SiM have toured the UK and that this is their first-ever Bristol gig. Given the SWX ensembles response you wouldn’t have known this; the self-proclaimed ‘reggae punx’ have stolen an overwhelming number of hearts this evening.
Taking the sounds of the Caribbean right down into the depths of the abysm during ‘The Rumbling’ whilst hard charging ‘Under The Tree’ resounds as SiM bust every sinew to lift a packed SWX even higher. It’s bonkers off the scale in its delivery, mosh pits thoroughly psyched with Mah declaring “Oh na, na, na! It’s not Japanese, it’s not English!” before taking to orbit in the rapidly accelerating mayhemic ‘Blah Blah Blah’; a track laced with reggae vibes and fringed in the realms of horror punk.
A baseball bat is raised aloft and SWX rages manically; this is the harkening signal for ‘Baseball Bat’, a raucous rallying call that Joey Ramone would be proud of! The sporting implement is wielded enthusiastically throughout.
Expressing their collective love and gratitude vocalist Mah asks, “Shall we come here [again]?” “Fuck yeah” comes a reply from somewhere in the crowd to which we are informed that SiM are planning their own headline European tour for the end of this year. Watch this space!
The metalliferous stampede ‘Red’ sees the quadrumvirate ‘Out-Skindred’ Skindred; it’s a glorious sight as hands wave, in phase, side to side. Broiling and seething a sizeable pit, the largest of the night thus far, opens during ‘Killing Me’ before the mayhem is concluded with the thrashing hardcore of ‘F.A.I.T.H.’ As it’s arcane timbre spreads forth Mah, two-handed, forms a heart symbol to pay respect to the adoring gathering. This is the cutting edge at the forefront of metal’s ever forward journey.
I’m positive that I am not in singular terms in pondering upon how on earth you follow what we’ve just experienced. Texan alt-metal outfit Nothing More display no concerns whatsoever as they emerge to John Denver’s legendary 1971 single ‘Take Me Home, Country Roads’. It’s as unlikely an intro as one could imagine but it works as the entire ensemble within SWX’s inners sings along. The complete antithesis for what is about to be despatched.
Visualize a cage crammed full of ravenous Velociraptors unlocked and the rampage that ensues as these voracious beasts spill forth; the musical equivalent is what is about to hit the good concert-going folks of the Westcountry!
With a euphoric crash and bang bare-chested and bare-footed vocalist Johnny Hawkins follows the powerhouse trio of drummer Ben Anderson, bassist Daniel Oliver and six-stringer (on occasion increasing to seven) Mark Vollelunga. Oliver pumps his fist and seismic forces get to work. This is a band that, on all fronts, appears in peak condition here in the centre of Bristol.
Hi-octane dynamics flare in dramatic fashion as 110% rapture levels are achieved within the first few moments of the set-opening apocalyptic offering ‘Let ‘em Burn’ and continue unrelenting through to the dying notes, some 80 minutes later, of the volcanically infused ‘This Is the Time (Ballast)’.
Like their special guests this is a stable band lineup-wise with founding members Hawkins and Vollelunga joined, a year after formation, by Oliver in 2004. Various lineups have come and gone over the years until the addition of Ben Anderson, the ‘newest’ member, who is not far off a decades’ service himself.
They present a well-balanced setlist drawing from their last three albums; their first two – ‘Shelter’ and ‘Save You / Save Me’ – having been, in fact, withdrawn from all retail spaces as with Hawkins switching from drums to vocals it was felt that these albums were no longer representative.
The uplifting, soaring nu-metal of ‘Do You Really Want It?’ ensues being followed by the crouching tiger ‘Don’t Stop’. In the former Vollelunga bends his strings into s brand-new musical dimension, warping all known theory. The once cage raptor runs amok, free again. SWX is packed to fullness and detonative to the core. Hawkins, like Mah before, whips up the faithful into a moshing frenzy garnering a vehement response. Vollelunga, seemingly desiring a closer look, takes to the photo pit to stalk the barrier before requiring assistance from the photographers and security to return stagewards.
“[We’ve got] new album out this year!” announces Hawkins to a rapturous reception with recent single ‘If It Doesn’t Hurt’, a purging of emotions that zooms in upon the failings of a poisonous relationship, eliciting an equally voluminous cheer.
‘Go to War’, with its brief gentler glimpse, follows a darkened, brooding interlude with SWX taking a much-needed collective breather. The track, the fourth thus far from 2017’s ‘The Stories We Tell Ourselves’, is impassioned on a lofty plane. The first crowd surfer of the night goes over the barrier in triumphant tribute. “Beautiful Bristol, so beautiful” observes Hawkins. No dissenting voice is to be heard.
Oliver’s sinuous bass lines herald the emotive ‘Jenny’, a hard-rocking discussion of mental health struggles, an output that seeks the gentle caress of a strengthened cause. The unreleased ‘Angel Song’ garners a cracking helping hand from the SWX audience before the band reach the end of their fuse wire and explode coruscatingly. Wailing and screeching its artillery-like assault stirs the underworldly realms.
The savage beast is in control within ‘Tired of Winning’ prior to the dramatic ‘Face It’ born of rugged peaks sees crowd surfers aplenty respectfully, and triumphantly pay homage. This is crepuscular powerage bursting forth from the underground tomb.
‘I’ll Be OK’, dedicated by Hawkins “To anyone who’s been in the dark lately”, demonstrates the four piece’s softer side with phone lights illuminating throughout the venue. Above the crowd a lone surfer signs a heart.
With its proggish beginnings ‘Spirits’ draws one in before ratcheting up the energies into a whirling dervish. Possessing of a Bon Scott glint in his eye dynamic frontman Hawkins smiles widely as the harmonies between Vollelunga and himself sail effortlessly afront an ocean breeze.
“[This is] about my son and father, the circle of everything” notes Hawkins introducing ‘Fadein / Fadeout’ with its opulent guitar tones. Ever so rich vocals enthral and ensure total captivation. It’s a tear-jerker and the nearest that Nothing More swerve towards a ballad. There’s a wondrous connection between band and crowd, mesmerising in itself.
Chasing the Pink Floyd ‘dragon’ Hawkins voice echoes about the venue during ‘Ocean Floor’ a brief escapade into a differing region musically for the band; this band is a multi-faceted gemstone for sure.
“We are not a band who play encores. We just play the last song and give everything” emotes Hawkins as we reach the final chapter of the evening. It’s a moment that Lemmy would approve wholeheartedly of, I’m sure.
With the force of rising magma so SWX explodes with the dramatic showstopping overtones of ‘This Is the Time (Ballast)’. The band prowl, stalking ready to pounce upon their chosen prey. It’s a fervored power slam of a finale with all bar Anderson taking to the barrier with Vollelunga and Oliver flanking a madly drumming Hawkins reverting to his previous occupation with the front rows providing the lift for his temporary kit!
Rock reinvents itself continually as the road ahead snakes one way then another; it’s an age-old process that will proceed for as long as there’s a balance of musicians and fans willing to partake in the symbiotic relationship. What we’ve borne witness to over the past couple of nights strongly suggests that the highway ahead is far from nearing journey’s end; there’s a lot of miles in front.

July 23 – september 25, tickets on sale friday, june 16 at 10 am (local time), 3x grammy-nominated rock group to join godsmack & staind on north american co-headlining run this summer (july 18 – august 31) .
After pulverizing stages across North America on the first leg of their headlining “SPIRITS 2023” tour earlier this spring, including sold-out shows in NYC , Philadelphia, Sacramento and Toronto , 3x Grammy-nominated rockers NOTHING MORE will continue to bring their potent live experience to audiences throughout 2023.Following their return from headlining shows and festival appearances across Europe, NOTHING MORE will join fellow Top 10 rock acts Godsmack and Staind on their North American co-headlining trek from July 18 to August 31. Next, they’ll launch the second U.S. leg of their “SPIRITS 2023” headlining tour this fall with support from DEAD POET SOCIETY, HYRO THE HERO ( rap-rocker and Better Noise Music labelmate), and POST PROFIT . Starting July 23 in Albany, NY at Empire Live , the produced by Live Nation tour will stretch across the South before making its final stop at The Fillmore Charlotte in Charlotte, NC on September 25 . Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 16 at 10:00 A.M. local time at https://nothingmore.net/ . See below for a list of all upcoming shows.
On their new album SPIRITS , NOTHING MORE combine unapologetically massive anthems, catchy hooks, and progressive music with introspective, philosophical lyrics and thought-provoking emotionalism. The album documents the tumultuous time the world experienced over the past two years, capturing the desperation and isolation of lockdown, the spiral of substance abuse, the pain of broken relationships, and survival in self-reliance. These concepts were further explored with the development of their very own meta-personality test, SPIRITS TEST , designed by frontman Jonny Hawkins —similar to tests such as Myers-Briggs, Big 5 and the Zodiac—which results in finding out one’s “ Spirit Type,” one of seven personality characters based on the test’s results. The “ Spirit Types ” and their origin story are further detailed in the band’s first-ever graphic novel “ SPIRITS VOL.1 ” out now via Z2 Comics .
NOTHING MORE recently shared a new version of SPIRITS heartfelt single “ Best Times ” featuring Lacey Sturm (Flyleaf) . Watch the music video HERE
To coincide with the tour announcement, NOTHING MORE will drop a limited-edition reverse artwork translucent smoke variant vinyl version of SPIRITS along with a new “ Fuse ” SPIRIT TYPE t-shirt. These will be offered individually or bundled together with the “ SPIRITS VOL.1 ” graphic novel, in addition to a limited number of hand-signed bundles being offered. See all the new merch options available at https://store.nothingmore.net/ .

“Fueled by ripping riffs, heavy beats, and Jonny Hawkins’ powerful pipes.” – Loudwire
Passionate audiences count NOTHING MORE among the most cherished acts, the kind of band who straddle the line between populism and intimacy with every performance. The San Antonio, Texas-born quartet builds unapologetically massive anthems from catchy hooks. Crowd-pleasers clear a path for heady, confessional, thought-provoking emotionalism. Fresh rewards reveal themselves with repeat listens, welcoming like-minded seekers with rich melodicism, like Tool, Deftones, or Thrice.
The band’s blend of explosive bombast and nuanced storytelling resulted in a half dozen Top 10 singles at Mainstream Rock Radio, including the No. 1 hit “Go to War” and the Active Rock chart-topper “This is the Time (Ballast).” 2017’s The Stories We Tell Ourselves resulted in a head-turning three Grammy Award nominations, generated by a groundswell of support from authentic fandom.
NOTHING MORE appeals to fans of Linkin Park, Incubus, Rage Against The Machine, and any crucial act that wrings relatable passion with authenticity and integrity. Memorize the arena-ready hooks. Get mesmerized by the intimate, communal live show. Dig deeper down the rabbit hole into the work of philosophers and artists like Eckhart Tolle, Carl Jung, and Alan Watts, who inspire the band. There’s a place for every type of rock fan with NOTHING MORE. Built to last, here to stay.

ABOUT NOTHING MORE
Rock audiences count NOTHING MORE among the most cherished acts, the kind of band who straddle the line between populism and intimacy with every performance. The San Antonio, Texas-born quartet builds unapologetically massive anthems from catchy hooks. Crowd-pleasers clear a path for heady, confessional, thought-provoking emotionalism. Fresh rewards reveal themselves with repeat listens, welcoming like-minded seekers with rich melodicism, like the best of Deftones or Tool.
Those who saw the band on tour with hard rock heavyweights like Shinedown, Five Finger Death Punch, Breaking Benjamin, Papa Roach, and Disturbed will attest to what The Guardian observed: “There’s a sophistication to NOTHING MORE’s angst that raises them above the tumult-tossed pit.”
Kerrang! named NOTHING MORE one of 22 Artists Shaping the Future of Rock, alongside Nine Inch Nails, Twenty One Pilots, and Bring Me The Horizo n. And frontman Jonny Hawkins, who met guitarist Mark Vollelunga before they were old enough to drive, appeared with Billie Joe Armstrong, Dave Grohl, and Hayley Williams in the English tastemaker’s Top 50 Greatest Rockstars in the World.

Aussie Depeche Mode fans are an incredibly patient bunch. The last time the British synth-pop titans toured the country was in 1994, meaning nearly three decades have passed since they last paid us a visit. But good things come to those who wait, and it seems there is a glimmer of hope for those hoping to catch the band Down Under.

Billie Eilish has announced a new tour and will be coming to the UK next summer.
The 22-year year old 's show is named after her latest album - Hit Me Hard And Soft - and will kick off in North America in September.
It will then head to Australia in February 2025, before travelling across Europe and arriving in the UK on 7 July when she will perform for two nights in Glasgow, at OVO Hydro.
Eilish will then play six nights at the O2 in London, and four nights at the new Co-Op Live arena in Manchester - a venue that has been beset with problems as it prepares to open to the public.
The singer will then play two gigs in Dublin, Ireland, at the 3Arena.
A vocal environmentalist, fans are being encouraged to take "sustainable transport" during the tour, which will also feature "eco-villages" and encourage plant-based food options.

Eilish's third studio album comes out on 17 May, a month after Taylor Swift 's much lauded album The Tortured Poets Department .
Like Swift, Eilish is encouraging fans to listen to the collection as a whole, saying on her website that the new body of work should be listened to chronologically as it "hits you hard and soft both lyrically and sonically, while bending genres and defying trends along the way".
She's not released any singles in advance, encouraging fans to listen "in one go".
The album cover features Eilish on her back under dark water with a white door open above her.
Eilish's last album was 2021's Happier Than Ever, and her debut record When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? was released in 2019.
The youngest person ever to have won two Oscars, she took home the award for best original song Oscar gong for Barbie's What Was I Made For? in March, and won the same prize for James Bond's No Time To Die in 2022.
